sagging bouncing or uneven floors standing water or high humidity nasty odors or dangerous mold crawl space problems don't get better with time but they do get better when you call aps it's the weather extreme video this is the morning edition this is for thursday the 3rd of march i'm james spann this amazingly nice weather continues through the weekend the warmest so far this year with highs up around 80 for the next several days then thunderstorms come back on monday of next week this is the upper air look across the country once again we have a sprawling mass of dry air across the deep south a northwest flow aloft mostly in the 40s to start the day a few upper 30s on the board but highs today will be between 77 and 81 for most spots this afternoon and look at that that's the watch warning map just quiet as could be got a few scattered pockets of winter weather issues but much of the country very quiet no severe weather expected today maybe some thunder for the coast of southern california tomorrow a chance of a few thunderstorms out west and then on day three which is saturday we have a risk of severe storms across parts of the midwest and the corn belt much of iowa in the standard slight risk of severe weather and then on day four which is sunday we have a risk of severe storms north and west of the state much of arkansas and some of the adjacent states but again there is no risk defined on day five monday at this point here's the rain for the next seven days heavier totals north of the state up around the ohio river for alabama the amounts mostly between one half and one inch between now and thursday morning of next week and the bulk of this will be on monday so model fans let's go here's the gfs this is the o6c run valid today at three northwest flow aloft beautiful day sunny and again the high today 77 to 81. same thing tomorrow awfully close to 80. lots of sunshine this is saturday got a surface low near omaha that's the reason for the chance of severe storms out across parts of the corn belt but down here warm dry highs close to 80 and the same thing on sunday partially sunny around 80 sunday afternoon cold front north and west of the state and that will be pushing in here on monday and the gfs now depicting a surface low that's near jackson tennessee and if that happens to be correct that might bring a chance of severe storms but the european keeps the surface low over west virginia with a lower chance of severe storms this is the instability coming off the european and we've got a little bit of instability not overly impressive for early march and this is the flash density product off the european so no doubt we could see some strong storms on monday and again i'd say it's not a classic severe weather setup at this point but as always we'll watch parameters carefully as the event gets closer and then tuesday we're cooler and drier highs dropping back in the mid to upper 50s which is below average for this time of the year sky becoming partly to mostly sunny this is wednesday the gfs is dry we've seen a lot of model solutions out here i'll say the confidence is pretty low for the latter half of next week here's a week from today thursday the 10th troughing in the west and again this is suggesting a chance of rain near the gulf coast but again use caution in a specific forecast for the latter half of next week because of model uncertainty look at this this is the next day friday the 11th and uh if this is right that would be a severe weather look with a deep surface low that's over the western tip of kentucky we've got snow and ice north and west of that strong to severe storms south and east of that but again this could easily disappear in future runs and then we'll go out 10 days this is saturday the 12th troughing over the east and a pretty chilly air mass dropping in here if this verifies rain for birmingham off the european ensemble the mean between two and three inches between now and the 17th of march highs around 80 through sunday upper 70s monday then we cool down for the rest of next week you can see that 57 on tuesday then back in the 60s for the latter half of next week and the latest cpc outlook this is for march 10 through the 16th temperatures across alabama should be close to average that's it for the weather week stream video this morning we'll have notes on the blog the next video here by three o'clock this afternoon if you can catch us this evening on abc 33 40 news at 4 5 6 and 10 o'clock thanks for watching have a great day and god bless cracks in brick cracks and block call alabama professional services leaning or boeing basement walls call aps sticking windows or doors call aps settling or sinking foundation that's right call aps it's a fact foundation problems don't get better with time but they do get better when you call aps call alabama professional services today
