Making It RAIN PIGMEN in Minecraft Hardcore!

Oh Boreum pumps we smashed bedrock we destroyed it we punched in the face with a piston kind of I guess the Pistons technically didn't have any heads on them but we smacked it anyway and pop goes the bedrock hold on a second dude this isn't just somewhere where you can swim for free what are you doing this is for not squids but they kind of chill her anyway it's for non squids fish and turtles only what are you doing have you got any good wares okay this man's got blue ice but I feel like blue ice is actually fairly cheap to get yeah Oh careful careful you're all your lovers oh oh we almost killed them that would have been tragic so today what we're gonna do as promised is we're gonna try and make that that gold farm so we can combine it with the the carrot farm up there and have an obscene amount of gold in Karis because our supply is starting to run a little bit dry so we're gonna need a lot of materials we're mainly gonna need a lot of just one block what we going here okay we've got a lot of stuff in here oh no I think I managed it I managed to empty everything actually I need to fill this with materials I'm just gonna fill it with cobblestone like the whole thing I'm gonna fill the whole thing up we're gonna need a lot of it okay there we go completely full if you've ever seen a more useless way to use an ender chest let me know because I feel like this is pretty useless right first thing we need to do is tend to let dig because let dig is having some issues so I need to grab myself a singular book and also a fair little handful of emeralds I need to go and buy a mending book definitely running out of emeralds pretty quickly which I am slightly worried about so I'm gonna have to try and find a way to get more emerald it's more quickly what is happening here I've actually got a use for this guy and I might do it today I might not but um you'll see you'll see when I'm done oh this is gonna hurt ow mending you took so many of my emeralds you punk I okay so the way we do this is we need to build some like a hopper platform but we need to do that like say 10 blocks up I don't think it needs to be that much I think just maybe needs to be five five blocks let's build a hopper platform I don't know how many we're gonna be able to do let me plan this because otherwise I'm gonna waste hoppers so this is gonna be the platform with the turtle egg on it so everything's gonna be falling like around here so we need it to be at least this wide otherwise it's not gonna work yeah we're already running out man so we do need more hoppers which is fine but we can continue the rest of the build from here no gasps please I'd appreciate that so the way this works is you put a an egg in the middle when you put carpets on this as well actually so let's do that now but but but I love that is so satisfying hoppers with them with carpets on look great apart from this one I need to do something with this so this is gonna be the central one and this is needs to be 24 blocks up in the air so we go 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 24 25 for luck okay now we're up here so this is where the turtle egg is gonna go and then there needs to be oh no didn't think this through I needed my cobblestone let's put the ender chest here then I need some cobblestones let's grab some and we need to make a platform around the edge like of this this farm is some bike I called caisson and I'll leave his link in the description below cuz it's a very simple farm it just goes off of normal like building rules to be honest now we need our trapdoors but first we just need to build out you need to leave a two-block gap and then this is gonna be where the zombie pigmen fall because basically the way this works is the pig men when they spawn in they're attracted to the turtle egg and they'll go and try and stomp on it which we've covered before that's behavior for any kind of zombies and crazy other mob so what we're gonna do is basically pry on that and also pry on their stupidity because they will go ahead and walk over these trap doors even when they are open so what they'll do is they'll think it's an opening but it's obviously not so they'll continue walking as long as these I think they have to be oak trapdoors so as long as that oak trap doors they will think that they're getting a great bargain and going to smash and stomp a turtle egg but that ain't gonna happen they're gonna fall to their death ideally on to the hoppers and we will collect their drops it's a very very simple farm probably the easiest farm that we have created so far boom boom and then we also need to do trapdoors around the edge whoa I did not know you could stack trapdoors like that that's kind of cool so this is why we needed so many trapdoors and then we need to make the platform's big enough no why do I do these things in the Buster come here thank you I didn't know that I'm its light either I'm learning so many new things today so now we've got those we can go ahead and close them all and again they will think that this is a solid platform walk towards the egg try and get to it and fall to their death I don't know if we need to put the turtle egg down now what we need to make a priority is just building out this huge platform because you just need to build this as big as you can I think it can be a maximum of 24 blocks wide and then that's pretty much the farm done I've got any extra hoppers that we need this farm is so easy the hard bit is getting to the surface and then destroying the bedrock that's the hard bit that's the sciency bit so leave me here for a sec and I am going to try make this platform as big as I can and I'll see you guys in a sec so I've built out a little bit this isn't a crazy amount but they should still die from this I'm trying to figure out how I'm actually gonna get down I think I can survive this fall but I'm so nervous to do it I guess the only thing is I don't have the slabs but I can make those right now because I've got so much cobblestone on me oh I just made loads I didn't mean to make that many what am i doing so I need to put this around the outside like this because the zombie pigmen need to be able to see the egg and also have I think it's two blocks of air above it just in case cuz otherwise they can't see it as like an actual egg it's kind of it's weird physics but it makes sense in Minecraft so let's put down this dirt block and then we can put down the egg just one of them I don't want to put down three egg then I can break the dirt underneath and that still is there which is great then we need two blocks of air above it so if we go one and then - I think then should be fine because we don't want stuff spawning on here that would be annoying let's see how this goes obviously this is not the most efficient but this is basically how it works and if I walk away we should get ourselves some pigments so if we run away from this they should start spawning in I'm pretty sure let's see if we can have enough blocks here we have to go high enough there is the lonely turtle egg just chilling waiting for something to come and try and attack it you know what if something spawns I don't think something should spawn in the slab maybe I should have made a double slab so it doesn't spawn but I'm pretty sure now we just need to wait for the spawns I'm fairly sure that should work ah some of them spawned I was just taking this thing down Ellie's excited oh my goodness I was just taking it down so it's gonna move it higher is it because it's not made out of nether AK is that why cuz that would be real dumb like really dumb and we got a chicken jockey as well what are the chances they spawned while I was up here - so I feel like maybe nether AK would be better all my trap doors are we I think it's cause I was using cobblestone I don't know whether the spawning has changed but in the the video I was watching on how to make this it says any solid block but they definitely spawned on netherrack like without a doubt they just they just straw it up on the nether AK yeah there's more here it's the nether AK I'm so pleased it's gonna work I need to change all this out a bit though to never act because this is the bit I'm gonna be putting the trap doors on and I want them to start spawning while I'm fixed in this so make sure you don't use cobblestone I just use cobblestone because it was the block that I had the most of and this is actually handy because now I'm not gonna worry about them spawning on the on the turtle egg because they're just not gonna do that now right now I need to put the trap doors back on this is like such a painful process but it's gonna be worth it I'm pretty sure the ones that are on chickens like the jockeys they're just gonna float down which is kind of funny actually but this is what we broke the bedrock for this is what we did it for guys and it's gonna be so worth it I can hear aghast as well I don't know where on earth the ghast is and then we need to do the same on this side so one two three and all of these are done around the outside sweep we need to put the turtle egg in which I definitely still have but I also need to make sure that they don't kill it straight away cuz that'll be tragic I don't think they can get across so I might just try putting it in there let's see what happens well I think he's noticed it I think he's going for it yeah they're going for it oh my goodness oh it's working this is exactly it and they died down here on the hoppers he's gonna glide down because he's on a chicken he thinks he's outsmarted me but yeah this is working oh my goodness I just need to change this all to netherrack oh I can't believe it I've got loads of nether at home and you can also stack this too so I can make another platform up and it's still affected yeah I tried to build a bit higher but it's still affected by the same eggs you can go up a certain amount with it still applying to the same egg we've got three anyway so we can extend this to make it a lot more fruitful you know what I'm gonna do I am going to place this ender chest and keep it here and then make another ender chest at home because I think I have the obsidian for it and then I'm gonna come back I don't think it works unless you're here but it shows just now that it works if you're right up next to it as well apart from the guy who's on the chicken which is nice it's alright to sport have you seen so many in this let's play as well how many golden nuggets did we get we got five and that's because this thing is filling up should be able to go up here and be able to replace it with netherrack and the spawns should increase which means that we get more golden nuggets which I'm super happy about let's see if it works I don't know if it will or ever that was just completely lucky but for some reason more of them spawned when I had 0 spawns that were on the cobblestone so let's see if this actually works shall we it's nether act time okay this is completely covered in nether ACK now I feel like this little guy down here might be ruining my spawn rates but I don't know where he's gone if he's d spawned that's fantastic if he hasn't oh he's gonna die I actually think he despawned that's good I didn't want him hanging around here anyway I could have done with his uh with his golden nuggets though but at least they're not angry at me so I've replaced pretty much all of it with nether ACK I just find it weird that as soon as I change it to nether AK this could be completely untrue but because I change it to nether AK they decide spawning in like out of nowhere yes go get that egg go get that egg boys there we go that's unfortunate ha ha it's working okay it's good so I am currently trying to expand up to 24 blocks I think it helps if I'm like 24 blocks away as well I think that affects the swarm rate of the of the pig man but it is working and it's showing off how it works as well they just go towards the egg and die because their brains are full of nether mush that's how they're gonna be extinct but I'm gonna be lapping up their sweet sweet gold yes more victims more victims come close come close to the egg that's right come very very close to the egg oh it works perfectly the spawns aren't that good but as soon as we start expanding this upwards I think the spoons will get better I'm just about to run out of netherrack which is frustrating but it's not too bad to go and get some more so let me just finish up this side real quick and then we'll think about expanding it upwards I think I need some glass maybe to cover up the old egg and then we can start going higher I just need more trapdoors I also want to actually get rid of this so those guys can see the egg a little bit better and hopefully that'll work let's go and see if we got any um Connie gold points to spend or I'll go to Garrett's oak so come on show me the goods we are 1 1 gold nuggets from all of those we have 6 golden nuggets oh I guess they don't drop them every time it would be handy I guess if when they dropped they didn't necessarily die because I could come up to them and just whip them with the sword and get more of a drop from them maybe that would work better if I put a little capture underneath then maybe that would be better I think that'll be cool but I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna the only downside of this as well is that you're not able to get many of the gold weapons this way because you're not hitting them with looting but does that really matter I don't think it does woah living large so this is a very simple zombie Pigman farm you can layer it it's not the biggest platform it could be either it needs to go lengthways a little bit more as well it doesn't give you the best drops but it is an afk farm so if it was an active farm I guess that would be better I need to figure out a way to make it active because I feel like maybe just going round and slaying zombie pigmen would just be a bit better I've got an idea you know what I'm gonna try this I don't know if this is the dumbest idea I've had or not but I want to see how many golden nuggets I can get by just slaying zombie pigmen I don't know if this is gonna be the worst idea or the best idea I've had I've got a totem just in case but I feel like maybe just farming zombie Pigman that way it's just a much that even though this is riskier considering the stuff that I've got and if I had more food I'd be able to get more stuff because oh man maybe I could just make it here they seem to spawn more here oh man oh there's a lot of them I'm in trouble now I need to kill these guys there's four five at least I got a totem it's getting out of control now it didn't take too long to get out of control guys calm it I didn't mean it I'm just doing an experiment okay you should be pleased with yourselves you're involved in an experiment so from that rampage I got fifty five golden nuggets I need eight for a single golden carrot so I need to rethink this farm it's just not it's not doing as well as I thought it would now I need to go home without getting stabbed by zombie pigman which is gonna be uh to hit them hit them hard with a looting sword oh okay my my feather falling is pretty Oh fee so in total we've got a stack and a little tiny piece plus one golden ingot mostly from slaying the Pigman ourselves which isn't that practical man this is gonna take ages to layer up up max layers and I also think it would be much more handy if I went up because currently I am at 128 Y so up and down you can go all the way up to 200 and something so maybe I need to go higher to make sure that the spawns are just way higher cuz it the minute we're taking into account the spawns that are under the bedrock as well as you can hear there's a gas that hasn't disappeared for the whole time so that's affecting our spawn rates oh there's another gassed put those legs away put them away or show me um he's going all the way up isn't he Oh God and then our reward it's like it's like an arcade machine amazing I love it see the spawns aren't too bad but they're not the best they could be they are dying again the big square isn't the maximum it could be Bryce I'm still not I'm still not feeling this is efficient enough because by the time I've eaten one golden carrot we're not gonna have enough golden nuggets to be able to get another one so it's not efficient enough let's leave it a little bit more and see how often these guys spawn yes more pigmen okay this isn't actually that bad I've been thrashing on it a little bit but you know what the spawns aren't too bad when I'm up here what we got over here rotten fleshes and but seven more nuggets okay this is working I'm actually pretty pleased with this when you go up to the top like that I think I should use scaffolding instead that I just keep there if I put Scout boarding up there this should work Oh bread that's peasant minecraft food I need to make some more golden carrots oh yeah and I know that I have blocks of gold ready to go but those are not sustainable I want a sustainable way to be able to eat like a king okay I'm just gonna grab some more carrots because I just noticed I actually have like a lot more golden nuggets in here let me see if I can do a whole stack yet I don't know how many golden nuggets you need to have to be able to get a whole stack of golden carrots that's that's pretty decent though we're on 42 golden carrots no perfect but pretty good right I need two chests I need to take with me I need some more offers but I can't remember how many more I need I think that should be enough if I make ten right there we go right let's go and fix the rest of this stuff I've still got carpets I've got chests so I can make sure that it all goes into the right place let's see if this can be afk enough for now but look at us re and Bri now guys forty two golden carrots that should last us at least a little bit of a while right right do I have enough of these hoppers now I might do is that all of them is that all of them covered if so that's decent no I do need more I've got another road to do at least my goodness this thing is massive but that's at least get this finished off so a chest should go here and here and now that she collects all of that stuff so let's set up here and let's see if we can get any more spawns going because it seems to me if I'm up here the spawns just happened more frequently anyway maybe it's cuz I'm nearby I'm not sure and I can also deal with the ones that we don't particularly want as well I'm going to leave it for and see how we get on but for now we've managed to go from zero golden carats to 41 which is good Oh gang of four okay I think if IAF Kade here for like an hour kind of like with the afk fish farm the fish farm is good but it takes time to actually work I feel like if I did that with this I would end up with a lot sealer there's another one coming in as well and then layering it which I've said many times already good this work pretty nicely actually it's probably not the most efficient farm but I can then also go higher and make another farm and then have them running at the same time I will have golden nuggets for days I do want to eat golden carrots as a gourmet every single day another golden ugh yes we're gonna call this the nug factory we've got ten so just from being here for ten minutes we've got tens that's like one a minute so we can't make this more efficient guys I'm sorry I'm gonna have to leave this here I've been playing for about two hours and thirty minutes trying to figure this out I think I've got it at least working which is good which is way more than I got from my other farm which was the one under water so hopefully next I look at imported all right hilarious I love it so hopefully I can get this working a little bit better in the future for now we got some golden nuggets guys we're ready
