M1 Garand Range 2

got 45 look what I have are you jealous yeah I would be oh boy m1 garand one of my favorite rifles and some of your favorites right yes thirty out six and hopefully you've seen this one before it apparently served in World War two yes it appears to have and a serial number and the dates and everything tell us that it did or should have okay so we have not done a range two with this thing thought that we could find so guess what it gives us an excuse to bring out this old warhorse again and shoot it and we advise you alone I hope you don't mind we weren't bothering you okay but we thought we would invite you to come along alright so guess got it all dressed out and a bayonet and one grand bayonet and everything maybe I'll leave it on there for a shot or two unless it messes me up plus gives me an alibi I can blame my missing on it okay hey you like ammo in my World War two ammo pouch - cargo pants let me put my ears on first and you know run that in block clip down in there and put some ammo in it all right it's ready to go eight big rounds of 30 off six all right I'm up to the task it's a heavy gun it's a heavy old rifle let's try that the red plate over there first alright felt good look good so until I start missing I'll just leave the band head on there you never know we could have a deer attack us you know they are around here they're not afraid of anything the old garand will clear them out it's heavy though all right I was about to say did he fire seven or did he fire eight let's just put eight more in there this is a beautiful life oh no you know what we back off in all right all right the sights are right on I finally after all these years have the sights just right on so it's a matter of me just holding steady and taking my time I should not miss over there famous last words ring see what I mean should not miss and that was one of the small ones sites are right on I knew that one should be there nope good and I've said before it's like playing basketball shooting a basketball you kind of know when your sights are on if you let on you know a bad shot off alright let's go and try that too later we'll cinder and the little red plate little boy thirty-aught-six and knocks it around doesn't it alright got fire seven or gen-i fire six we always finish up on the red plate over there at the top let's go ahead and do that so I have a fresh load on these the enemy that's close at hand here okay someone go there hit the red plate oh I miss it I blame that on the bayonet I guess not at this point alright more ammo let's pop that red plate there we go now let's see what we can do right here with these these these three enemy combatants that are charging I could just stick that ban that out and X up them right all right oh man and I got ammo left now what do i do well one thing I know is unload the firearm and the best way to do that is just like this is put it out through the end of the barrel hoping to get my ban that dirty and smoky No well so pretty cool I don't have to tell you that if you if you don't have who should I say affection some affection well Sue Ellen says you got work does that really would upset the the hope Lefou the people who hate firearms you know you'll just say affection so if you don't have some affection for an old war horse like this m1 garand you know what's wrong with you that's pretty ironic me asking anybody else what's wrong with you right because I have nothing wrong with me so yeah the profanity and also you know I like a little extension and on my almost any rifle or shotgun I have because of my size this is actually a often t'k this is a design for the grin maybe the three strengths I don't know but the grant for firing you know the grenade we had the grenade launcher on it you know because that's that is a pad for that so it gives me an extension is beautiful so it's pretty much authentic and it makes the farm feel so much better for me again the recall is not that bad just on Nate huh 150 grain basically 149 147 150 whatever grain ammo and even though 3006 so it's not like firing at 450 a twin mag or anything and it's a heavy firearm so the recalls not that bad it's semi-automatic too - so you little less recoil so pretty nice in that regard and fun to shoot so we're definitely answer you everybody see that there's no ammo in there okay so I'm gonna reach up and take off the ban it ouch or that is hot and you do it without touching a can let's just leave it on hey we'll hit the barrel cool play it is an authentic a real band out and that's that's pretty cool - again as I've said before I'm I'm glad I haven't had to use this in battle and that I can appreciate it enjoy it on the range okay if I had been alive at that time I guess I would have been over there using it in battle perhaps but these firearms are just interesting to study to fire and most of us thankfully we can do that in the security of our own shooting range right so they're pretty cool most of us who have these kinds of firearms are not running around pretending to be GI Joe and all that sort of thing or GI Joe wannabes even we just appreciate the history and we enjoy firearms and fun to shoot so m1 garand it has seen battle we assume looks like it has even has markings at their piers that might be counting of some sort we pointed that out before and you can't hate an m1 garand if you can what is wrong with you life is good hey I don't have a lot of time right in the middle of something but I want to let you guys know about the people who support us Bud's gun shop comm great selection of firearms Federal Premium AM a wide variety of different calibers STI GD you get certified in gunsmithing at mechs dot-com great site for precious metals gold and silver and copper and other things also Talon gun grips calm and get grips give you a better grip on your handgun or your rifles ballast all great lubricant and a cleaner check them out we appreciate everyone that supports us also go to hey got 45 dot-com I got some stuff to do hopefully I'll see you guys later
