welcome to bridge camp I'm sorry this has been we have a better half of sorted food today we are on a quest for some of London's best pasta and as ever if you're enjoying the video give it a like and don't forget to comment downstairs we read everything enjoy bon appetito [Applause] [Music] [Applause] we think London has some of the best food in the world and today we're gonna find the best pasta London has to offer we each have a different budget and have picked a place we think page with a budget I've got 40 pounds to spend 5 or 20 I've got 10 and we're going to my twist first so the place I picked is fidella were right next to Borough Market and it's kind of the anti James restaurant because I'm really picky and I don't like queueing and it's no reservations so we're gonna keep for a while it's also super cheap I've had a look at the menu and it's like four to eight quid for a pastor phone that's why I'm looking forward today is that it's gonna be great food as I've only heard good things berry apps he loves Italian food he literally can't get enough now you'll notice he gets quite touchy-feely when we start over at pasta he's already covered on your shoulder we haven't even go Indian it's what's pasta like here we're going I think we eating our posture on the toilet I have a 10-pound budget almost everything on the menu is under 10 pounds problem is I kind of want to do dishes PC Casio e pepe and so that dish costs six pounds fifty which is under budget and I really want some gnocchi which is four pounds which is ridiculously cheap you know now that we know I allow this you can't afford it you don't know much if you have I've got fifty P right here Mike please [Music] please [Music] it's cleaning it's sorting it's so well-balanced the most important thing is that fresh pasta absorbed in all of those flavors see I think this is what caster should be like it had all the cheese and all the pepper it's just proper comforting I love in every Italian version is installed if you're not licking the plate as well actually like six quid is a hell of a benchmark to step next up my choice [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so I'm looking at the higher end of pasta in London surrounded by lavish hotels boutique shops based on the corner even sells caviar to Franco's generally riffraff is I think James might have to leave use converse shoes at the door this guy ain't going in turns out we were right what I know this place is posh because there's a man behind me smoking a cigar it's a very attractive menu and what you know is there someone very competent behind it because you can't write this up unless you know exactly what you're doing myself a true marriage is in the shop opposite us he is walking around there with his arms behind his back what a not give a spare 700 powers for a cave versus a fresh baby okay gate again this is a fairly short thick pasta the pasta is like perfectly al dente a bit of incredibly fatty wild war in the best way possible it doesn't melted in your life it's bloody view past I don't really coming up that I feel like this is the kind of restaurant you can't lick the plates however I absolutely would that was phenomenal delicious mounting the mouth and great posture but two down one to go I've got just the place I'm taking the guys to immediate is in Catherine stop it's a little hidden gem in East London and I recognize me to be perfect for my 20 quid budget the kitchen is lead just behind you so you can see him cook everything is minimal am I allowed in my twenty pound budget also include a deserve twenty percent we are having a four-hour slow cook special polonaise the pappardelle and that's only 12 pounds which means I'm getting pudding but is super classic we have another tomato sauce yeah so that's gonna be interesting [Music] because the pasta with that pouncer I mean I like my father's act but Parmesan cheese maybe they'll even make some you can see the phone there it looks the most fantastic twice there's a bit extra cheese on top please begin elegantly done should try James what doesn't warn you about human pasture this is the bowl you want to settle down to this is comfort food and I love the addition of the bechamel because it's a super creamy it's not to Tamar theory okay store money for made 12 quid proportion of pasta is what you should be paying I fill for a bit followed by this is exceptional I think it's really good value Quinn again James your past dish was an absolute still learning the quality and food you got there was like under touchable for the cost and really think if you're gonna go to friend case you're paying for the history yeah the painter postponed I can't Bowl Custer but it's hard to justify spending that much on a pasta dish all three things have been to quality part actually I'm tasting absolute fantastic what else should we tackle in London comment down below there's name don't forget if you like this video then liked this video we wait for anyone scream I only 50 pounds you enjoy turns out there is such a thing as a pastor baby yes seriously I was waddling all the way home over thankfully we are done for today's video we're off to read all your comments about weird sorry click on the left if you missed our last video or click on the right video for one of our favorites [Music]
