sexual immorality there's no room for there's no room for addiction there's no room for it there's no room see if you realized who's moved into you there will be no room at the end for anything else occupy for people might bless legalism no it's not it's love jesus said if you love me obey my Commandments he who loves me obeys and he who doesn't want Jesus wasn't a legalist he was a lover and he paid a price for you to not live like a harlot with anything else except for him there we go we'll start off real good see I've just got the good privilege in my life of seeing people that have STD sexually transmitted diseases cuts and scars and all those things from yesterday they wished it wasn't in their body where I just get to see Jesus remove them I've seen him remove countless scars cutting scars people that have cut themselves because they're sad with life and they wish that they weren't alive then they get born again in all their scars disappear why because Jesus says that the statements and your body from yesterday must be removed if you've been forgiven like oh I don't believe that I don't care what you believe I love Jesus with all my heart and I won't compromise my life order this gospel down for the sake of people's minds that want to stay comfortable you are required to be uncomfortable that's why the Holy Spirit is called the comforter you're not supposed to live this Christian life without him and if you do you're living a life you're living a life that is compromised you guys okay I don't have I don't have nicely nice stuff to give you all I have is this sword all I have is the truth all I have is is a mind and a heart that has been consumed with the fear of God for 13 years straight I lived in drug addiction for 22 years I lived in atheism I lived in all that junk all the trash I lived hooked on porn since I was 8 years old that thing rolled my life it won't me I thought that that's what made me a man that's not what makes you a man it's not people come to hear me that I call he's got dregs it's probably one of those grace guys yeah I am but there's demonic grace out there that says that once you're forgiven you can do whatever you want because gotta forgive you that's from Hell itself look people say well God will take you just the way you are you're right God will take you just the way you are but do you think that grace enables you to stay just the way you are you're supposed to be transformed you're supposed to be transformed Jesus is amazing see a lot of Christians don't read the reality of what judgment looks like they said we don't judge me only god can judge me trust me you do not want God to judge you people get tattoos that says only the Lord can judge me the only reason you say that's because you got hurt by church you get hurt by religion people tried to help you try to correct you time son you got offended by touching trying to tell me how I can rule my life only god can judge me it'll be a sad day when you stand before him and have the Lord judge you for your sin that you kept living in thought that it was okay I am here to make you very accountable see I love laying hands on people I love imparting the reality of the gift and grace of God that's on our lives I love it I love seeing people just be baptized in the fire of the Lord I love it but I love the fact that you could be very accountable for what you're being touched with see we come to conferences and we want to get filled up we want to learn more things more to be more stuff with the Lord but every time you hear and don't do you become very accountable for your life because - he who has given much as much will be given but much is required you'll not just answer for your life but you'll answer for everybody else's life that you've infected pastors you will answer for every person that you speak to every message that comes out of your mouth people when you witness you answer for the life you either witness the gospel or you witness yourself you'll witness a watered-down compromised Christianity which isn't the gospel at all it's actually false doctrine it's the doctrine of devils how you like me now you know what the great thing I lived possessed with the fear of the Lord I don't fear man you can't hurt me I love you but I don't love you see you loved me back it doesn't matter if you love me back god it doesn't matter if you could love God back do you think God gets insecure when you don't tell him you love him see so many of us has grown up that we've been growing up needing the appreciation the approval and the stroking of other people in order to function well you what the gospel says all of those that desire to live godly will suffer persecution here's a measure of where your Christian faith is when's the last time you were persecuted if you weren't persecuted you're probably not living the gospel it's constant people misunderstand they mock and scoff what they don't know they don't know any better I'm on the elevator with atheists hey jesus loves you and they laughed at me I didn't get hurt by it I said I used to laugh at Christians too until I met Jesus you can't hurt me I don't want anything from you all I want to do is lay my life before the feet of Jesus every day because one day I'm going to stand before God he's gonna say well done to me I live with that every day my conscience isn't corrupted it's not twisted I don't have twisted stuff I don't have his shoes I don't have closets people like what everybody has issues no you're wrong Jesus cancelled my lifetime subscription to issues when I got born again being a porn again is essential but it is to unlock your potential people have taken the word and they put it to the side and said now I'm gonna run with the spirit and we become flaky Christians going after the spirit without truth no when the Spirit of Truth has come he will guide you into all truth I need to have relationship with the Living Word relationship so I see the guidelines for the Christian life there are places that are out-of-bounds did Jesus just pay a price for you to get to heaven no he didn't he paid a price for heaven to get into you so you can destroy hell every day of your life everywhere you go but the first place that hell needs to be destroyed is right between your ears callous thinking how do we be transformed by the renewing of our mind how does that happen the Word of God it's alive and active sharper than any two-edged sword is able to divide and separate the soul from the spirit so the first place the word comes to separate I don't care if you grew up in church unless God's speaking to you as you're reading about him you're not reading the gospel the way that was created for you to be read and I didn't say you to read I said you to be read because when we get in there God starts to read us he judges the thoughts and intents of the heart but the first place he does is he divides and separates our mind will and emotions from our spirit he cuts it because there's a way that seems right to a man and in the end it's destruction there's a way that seems right here's one well I don't feel like it that's demonic I don't feel like God loves me you're deceived an innocent man hunt guilty on a tree you don't live by feelings you walk by faith there is a way that seems right to a man it seems like because we grow up that way come on here's a typical way that seems right I mean I'm with the girl she loves me we love each other that marriage thing it's just a it's just a piece of paper that's the way that seems right to a man we've been living together for nine years what if you're born again stopped yet married make company people don't like to hear that I don't care I'm gonna live my life before God and I'm gonna honor him and worship Him see some of you are in sexual immorality and there's STDs and all kinds of stuff in your life and the reason why this is because you're continuing in sin you're continuing in it and you like the feeling of sin instead of the relationship with the father because if you know him you'll know the truth and the truth shall set you free he didn't say you'll know the truth and continue in twisted news ha ha oh I live with me God loves me I have a daisy that says he loves me he loves me he loves me when I start talking like this boyfriend's especially get mad like don't you try to attack this it's my thing that I love don't you tell me I don't let they pull each other's clothes honey if you love me you'll keep laying down [Music] what demonic strategy to make you think that you're God to that girl because you're not God you'll answer for your life because all of us will stand before the judgment seat of Christ people are like wow I don't believe in that well that's cuz you don't read the Bible so you've passed the white throne judgment if you're a believer but you haven't passed the judgement seat of Christ because I'm gonna stand before it and you're gonna stand before it and we're gonna all answer for our life and all the deeds and works that are done in the body think that God doesn't see your life behind the closed doors think that God only sees you when you worship Him now your life is laid naked and bare before the Lord and he sees everything he knows everything that you think he sees everything that you see he sees what you do with the view that you have he sees what you do with your time he said all do you know that he's worthy of it all what is all all of it is every second of the day you are to redeem the time for the days are evil you're to come out and be separate what does that mean that means that I'm in the world but not of it that means that when I'm in dark situations I don't partake in darkness I shine as a beacon of light in the midst of a perverse and corrupt generation that we're supposed to shine as lights and says live a life worthy of the gospel worthy what is worthy me worthy means live a life just like Jesus lived how you like me now you know what I still got that Daisy even if everybody in the world turned their back on me and said I hate you even if everybody in my family said I can't stand you even if nobody would walk with me God still will he purchased me by blood and he'll never change his mind he'll never take his money I love tricks in the gospel I love it but I love even quiet just being a little with Jesus I love being on a plane for for 10 hours with my Bible and me I love living there on a plane with a captive audience at 35,000 feet that they can't get away that I have Jesus inside of me and upon me and he wants to flow through me and touch me I remember being on a plane just a little while ago and and I'm sitting there and I walked up front and I started sharing with the people in front sharing the gospel and you could tell that there was a flight attendant on the plane that's lifestyle wouldn't line up with how God's created us to live and he was very upset very disgruntled and so he backed away a little bit about five about about two meters for me and he's listening to me minister to a couple people and jesus healed the one lady and touched her completely healed her him she's freaking out I said Jesus no I grew up in church for what is this I said this is the Holy Spirit that a lot of the churches forgotten but without him we can't even know that Jesus is Lord except by the Spirit of the Lord so something inside of you because the Holy Spirit when you said yes to him but she hadn't said yes yet she had gone to church her whole life but really didn't ever say yes you know there's so much compromise in the church by going to a building and thinking by going to the building that you're okay you're paying your dues Jesus doesn't want your dues he wants your life so this lady gets born again so another person gets you another person gets touched and I go back to my seat and this guy that's in the lifestyle that he should follow me to my seat he said sir he said I really need to talk to you I said cool man you think like they're repulsed good father see because it's God's goodness that leads a heart to repentance but if you don't represent a God that is good people don't have a reason to repent and you pointing out their faults doesn't help them but you living with the presence of God and to fear the Lord in your life draws people to you because they don't know what it is darkness cannot comprehend it but everybody wants to know that their eternal because everybody is eternal see everybody that you see is either headed to heaven or hell I don't care who it is well that's what you believe no no I've met Jesus like I've met him like but he's my friend I live with him every day everybody that you see is eternal so this guy says to me he goes sir I I live with my husband for for 20 years and he died 10 days ago and I'm really lost and I had to be very careful about what I said and I said sir you've been lost your whole life it hasn't just been for 10 days and it wasn't about me pointing out his lifestyle it was about me pointing out who God is because he doesn't know God is they went to church but you can't go to church and say that you worship for God whose book disagrees with everything about your life that's that's a line of facade it's not true see if your life doesn't line up with what you say you worship you really don't worship him at all you worship you so I said to the man I shared my testimony with my shirt about drug addiction for 22 years I shared about me getting shot at 13 years ago I shared about my encounter with Jesus and this man looked at me with tears in his eyes and he said I need to know you're Jesus I said your husband couldn't give you to this your husband couldn't give this to you there's nothing you could give each other on the word in the world nothing you can give each other that outweighs the truth about what Jesus paid and I shared his value see see I always thought like growing up I saw Christians all my life I saw people that lived as major hypocrites it was a twisted twisted thing and I hated Christians if people can't see Christ in you they don't want what you say you have they don't want it and I'm not just talking about miracles I'm talking about the Living Christ that has come to make his home inside of you to where your fountain of life is this well springing forth that never ever runs dry jesus said they who come to me will never thirst again and so when I when I came to Jesus when he came to me cuz I didn't find him he found me but he found me in a gun deal like crazy found me I got shot after three meters away and had an encounter with a voice the voice said I took those bullets for you are you ready to live for me yet are you ready to surrender because surrender is completely different than incorporating see lots of Christians have incorporated Jesus into the life of what they can get from him but they haven't surrendered the life that doesn't belong to them anymore it belongs to him all God's asking you for is everything you were created to be because you were never created for you you were created for him so he's asking you to give up what you were never created to be so you can finally become who God says you are see all my life I thought that the cross was just this crazy revelation of how twisted we were like even when I first came to Jesus and He first rescued me I still I didn't understand the cross and the more I saw it the more I would see if there's a song that says I'll never know how much that cost t my sin upon that cross I've changed the lyrics I'm allowed to that's not the Bible you don't change the word but I can change those lyrics because I need to sing I need to know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross why because if I don't know how much it cost I'll never understand my value see because the cross isn't just the revelation of how twisted you are the cross is the price that haven't paid to purchase you because God thought that you were worth the blood so if I see the cross as the revelation of my value everything changes see innocence hung guilty on a tree while I was twisted while I was yet a sinner Christ died for me he knew all the stuff that I was doing he knew all the messed up stuff of my life he knew at all he saw it all and he still says oh well I was ripping off people while people were dying because of drug deals and all the stuff God's saying oh I want that one [Music] we said well I don't deserve you're right if you want what you deserve go to hell because that's what all of you deserve all of you including me deserve hell by our actions do you think that you got in through your works no it's by grace that we're saved but you will be judged for your words we're like no I passed judgment you did you pass the white throne judgment but all of us are gonna stand before the judgment seat of Christ and answer for our life wouldn't you like to know now that Jesus says well done now rather than wait your whole life and hope you make it in by the skin of your teeth and there's no skin on your teeth hopefully this isn't barely get along Street this is burn with a holy fire and a holy passion from God burn with the reality of what it means to be right with God because righteousness produces its fruit unto holiness holiness isn't a bad word it's actually the spirit that you have been given his name is holy why would holiness be legalism if God said the Holy Spirit is our gift you know he's got the Holy Ghost God the Holy Spirit he's God that's what we got the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us and he will quicken our mortal body and that's not just the second that were resurrected that's the second that he comes in God goes boom and shuts you with the reality of who God's created you to be - all of a sudden you start to think like the mind of Christ thinks because that's the mind that he's given us but if I never get into the book if I never get into the word and if I never see the truth is supposed to set me free I will live on everybody else's revelation God doesn't want you to live on other people's revelation he doesn't want you to be an echo he wants you to be a voice [Applause] he wants you to be a boss he wants you to be his voice on this earth he wants us to live as the voice it's better than that show the boys he wants you to be able to commune with him he wants the Holy Spirit in your sphere cuz that's what happened to become one spirit with him I love that behold I will do a new thing then when I got saved when the reality of this king God says that I was a brand new creation people told me all you got a lot of stuff for your lunches and and honestly when I got born again God gave all that stuff out of me like that's what the blood of Jesus comes do you think that the blood of Jesus just forgives a lid or do you think that it removes completely see we've compromised even the blood of Jesus there's people that even take it out of their churches cuz it's it's just a little bit it's a little bit too much for our members what are we thinking it's the blood of Jesus successfully free it's the blood of Jesus that keeps me free it's the blood of Jesus that keeps me living in the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom by the way and if we would like to live with the reality of the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead when you look at Isaiah 11:2 you will see that out of everything out of wisdom counselor Mike all the Sevenfold Spirit of God it says that Jesus is delight was in the fear of the Lord fear the Lord isn't scary the fear of the Lord is referent the fear of the Lord is in love with Jesus in love with God so much that when the enemy tries to whisper to you from the right or from the left you are so steadfast that the fruit of the Spirit of self-control was being so focused on his voice that every other voice lose I'm so serious cutter time is not on my side Jesus Jesus Oh okay here's the deal I haven't even preached a whole lot I want to share a little bit before we do this fire tunnel but first things first if you are in an immoral lifestyle and you're living a life in hypocrisy and compromise I need you to stand your feet right now don't play games with this come on come on where's truth that come on where's truth that and that's your life stand up don't play games with this you're gonna answer for your life you'll all stand before that seat all something with you right now just real quick before we do this tunnel and I want to share what happened in my life I didn't understand what a baptism of fire was I just didn't I got saved I got born again I was so excited jesus had touched my life and overwhelmed me and I saw in my Bible that God wanted to heal the sick and I'm like okay well I'm gonna go and I'm gonna pray for as many sick people as I see I saw somebody get healed in the healing service and I said if it happened in here why wouldn't it happen out there so I started to pray for everybody in this process my wife my brand-new wife the one who bended with me for nine years I got shot up went away to Teen Challenge came home we got married four days later crazy when she saw me praying for people in public she said I will never go in public with you again you're an embarrassment people do laughs it is funny but it took her nine months to go out of the house with me she calls it labor but I prayed for about ten people every every day of my life on the job everywhere I went and I saw no miracles happened I saw no healing happened I I didn't get words of knowledge I didn't understand that whole realm but I'm praying for people and praying for people and praying for people and praying for people it went on for three and a half months where I prayed for people and I prayed for over 900 people without seeing any breakthrough in the miraculous in healing anything at all people would always question me because I didn't have any models for me they said why are you doing this obviously it's not your gift but I couldn't that in my Bible in my Bible it said these signs will follow them that believe and I was a believer so I'm in but I didn't understand what was missing and so I went to this healing conference because I thought like I need to know about healing it's not happening and it's a conference on healing so I go to this healing school healing conference and I'm in there and I'd seen in my Bible in Matthew 3 where John said i baptize you with water but the one coming after me will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and Fire now if you're wondering if you've been baptized in fire here's how you figure it out if I port a liter of gasoline on your head and lit a match would you care about what people thought about you oh if I pour a liter of gasoline on your head and lit a match you would go would you care or be conscious about what people thought about you I don't think so not at all that's what it means to be baptized in fire [Music] [Applause] so I was seeing people they were making fun of me but I lived a life of sin for so long it hurts so many people that it didn't matter what people thought about me because I was a persecutor of Christians I could care less like out of all religions I hated Christianity the most because they were the ones to claim to know it all and they were the ones that were compromised in living in hypocrisy I would see them come out of church everything was glory and joyous they go and cuss out their wife or whatever I'd be like whatever you guys like such hypocrites who's crazy without a baptism and the Holy Spirit and Fire hypocrisy is a byproduct of your natural life you need the fire of heaven that's beautiful so 3 3 3 1/2 months go by I'm at this conference and the guys on stage talking about healing but I cannot get this picture baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire out of my head I it's just in my head it's constant like I'm like something missing this is the missing ingredient I need this I need it and the guy's not even talking about it he's talking about healing and I'm sitting there going oh my gosh going on right now and I started to get really warm and everybody's looking at me and I'm like and I was like sixty pounds heavier so I thought I'm having a heart attack or I'm dying something's happening here the guy beside me Gus are you okay I go are you warming us no what's wrong with you I don't know man and the guy on the stage looks at me and he says son yes you he goes stand up he said you've been asking the Lord for a baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire haven't you I didn't tell this guy all this overwhelming surge of fire and electricity hit me right where I was yell and the man up front he's like Oh more Lord and I literally started to electrocute and I held onto the chair in front of me I didn't understand that the very thing that I was hunger for hungering for was happening it didn't look like what I thought it would I thought wow I got fire no that's not what happened see God needed to completely fry my everything so that I could burn and set other people on fire see when you walk in the fire of God there are people that one day won't have to burn eternally I don't care how dry the wood is it burns better Jesus wants to touch you after this happened it happened for about an hour and a half I was on the floor screaming in the middle of this man's message and afterwards he came towards me he said son I said don't touch me get away from me don't touch me and I go it doesn't feel amazing I actually felt weak a lot of you tonight are going to be shocked to beyond anything you've ever seen no no no it sounds like wow you just talk you will see what does it mean to be charged with the 220 line what does it look like you can't just let go it's over and tonight God is going to shock you with the reality of heaven from this time forward I saw the miraculous increase in such a crazy ridiculous way that it was just the first week I saw a few people healed within five and a half months it was taking me 45 minutes every day to write down testimonies from everyday life and I wasn't in full-time ministry I was just full-time Jesus I'm not just the street evangelist I just live and eat and sleep and breathe Jesus every day all day now I had already been filled I'd already been touched and it was a couple years later where I was invited over to go on a Holy Land trip just to go over there and the pastor that that was leading that was leading this this trip his name was Benny Hinn I don't know if you've ever like people have mixed opinions I don't care what your opinions are I was I was on the trip and I was just hungry for more I just wanted more and I went to this one meeting and I'd already been baptized in the Holy Spirit fire this is for all of you that have already been baptized there's more I promise you there's more there's more so I'm there and I'm just hungry now my god I just want you I just want more anything you have god I want more I know of a sudden he said pastors ministers leaders get up here and I tried to run to the front and I couldn't get up there and I'm as far back as y'all are from the stands in the back I'm like no I came here for this this very thing I didn't come here to just walk where Jesus walk I came to walk like Jesus said we can't walk and I'm hungry and I want more God you have to touch me you have to touch me you'll have to touch me so I'm out there and I'm like God he says worse if everybody's worshipping I'm worshiping it I see people like flipping and tossing and I'm like oh my gosh I want that I don't care what it looks like I want I don't care Jesus it doesn't matter I'll lay it all down it doesn't matter what it looks like to a famished man every bitter thing is sweet so he all of a sudden then he goes bring that man he points right at me and that ushers part the Red Sea and they come and they get me and I get up there and I'm on the stage and and I'm standing there and the surge the same kind of electricity surge was and see because I already been touched but I'm hungry for more I'm hungry for more right now every day I'm hungry for more guns you got to do it again God's got to do it again God's got to do it again you got to do it again make me a better witness thanked me a better witness I can't stand the thought of people are separated from God I can't stand it I need to be a witness so that everybody around me gets touched by the glory and so I'm standing there nostrils are holding me and posture Bennie's about where the lights are over there and he just says Jesus and a bolt of electricity hit me in the chest and the ushers and picked us off three feet a meter off the ground and threw us ten feet through the air you can say what you want I landed on my back and neck and the ushers did too and the ushers were out and then to Maurice and pick him up and do other Usher's fresh ones because the other ones are done they picked me up and brought me in the fetal position curled up curled up not functional and it happened again BAM again see tonight there will be a great commission Oh [Applause] a great commissioning this isn't just commissioning you in the ministry this is commissioning you to live like Jesus created you to live everywhere you go and the third time because the third time again and then the fourth time so now eight uh sure's are out I've been thrown on my head four times and I was incapacitated and I couldn't function I couldn't walk I couldn't really talk I was done yet I wasn't done it was just a brand-new beginning that night I didn't sleep I stayed on my bed and I humped like a tuning fork tonight there's going to be I'm looking at a lot of Holy Ghost tuning forks [Applause] so what promise you gets if you're hungry and if you'd be willing to put yourself before Jesus tonight if you'd say God Here I am [Music] Here I am if you'll just let your hunger possess you keep your eyes on Jesus cuz he is the Baptizer we are not Jesus is and God has a different flame for each and every one of you have you've been touched there's more and if you haven't there's more so tonight Jesus is about to overwhelm a whole bunch of you would you guys please do me a favor and invite Daniel kolenda to the stage [Applause] yeah come on man yeah Wow [Music] Wow feel that you know I was gonna speak about a fire but I don't think I need to how many of you are ready to receive this is what I think we need to do where's Russ is rust Ben sit around okay I think I think we're gonna have to clear this area because this is where we're gonna build the fire tunnels so as anticlimactic as it is I'm gonna ask all of you that are dressed in here in the front just move back to your seats and don't worry you'll be back here in a few minutes okay but we've got to just for the sake of the logistics here we've got to clear this area I some of you are so disappointed don't worry you'll be back I'll tell you what yeah if you're standing in the aisles you need to also move back to your seat to because we're gonna need to bring people down these aisles and once again you're there Russ we need that clear right okay as you're going back to your seat Wow [Music] let me just say this if some of you were offended by Todd's message and by some of the things he said I want you to know something I completely agree with everything that he said tonight that was that was the gospel that was the Word of God and if that offended you you need to get your heart checked because that was solid stuff I went when Todd was up here preach and I I thought it looked like John the Baptist saying repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand and this is beautiful this is what I see God raising up in the world it's not just people who love to worship and dance and fall down it's people who are solid who are holy who are passionate about Jesus who are living lives a full of integrity who are advancing the kingdom of God who are preaching the gospel who are living the life in the building and out of the building that's what we need and that's what I believe God is raising up here I'll tell you what I wish God would raise up 10 million Todd White's all across the world I believe he's gonna raise up many of you right here in this room you may not look like Todd you may have a different style a different flavor but you're gonna carry the fire of the Holy Spirit and you're gonna be on fire for Jesus and listen I I'm telling you man I'm feeling something right now I told Nathan as we're sitting back there it's gonna get really wild in here it's gonna get really really wild I hope you're ready for this you have no idea I was we were just we were just together Todd in in south-africa just a week a week and a half ago and in Capetown and and Todd did the same thing that he did here today and I was what looking at this girl I was watching her because she had stand she stood up and she was obviously cutter when he commanded those scars to disappear I watched her look down at her arms and her eyes got his big as saucers and she just began to scream screaming at the top of her lungs as she watched the scars disappear from her arms that happened to many of you right here tonight how many of you know Jesus is alive this is real this is real this is real listen if you're sitting out there and you're a skeptic and you're saying this is all emotionalism this is just manipulation this is just some mind trick I have somebody that told me once that the healings are just the power of suggestion it's just the placebo effect listen my friend there may be some things that you can do a placebo effect but you can't make scars disappear by thinking about it that is supernatural that is something only Jesus can do and what is about to happen to you now in this altar in this fire tunnel is something supernatural it is something only Jesus can do and jesus said when the Holy Spirit comes upon you you will receive power and you will be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem in Judea in Samaria until the uttermost parts of the earth that was the promise and then in Acts chapter 2 the fulfillment and when the day of Pentecost had fully come somehow I just feel like your day of Pentacost has come fully come fully coming when the day of Pentecost had fully come they were all together in one place and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled the house where they were sitting and there appeared unto them cloven tongues as a fire and one set up each other and they were all say they were all they were all filled 120 out of 120 100% success rate can I tell you something today my friend this is not a lottery for lucky Christians it's not just for super Christians it's not just for evangelists you don't need a PhD on your wall you don't need a television show you don't need a platform or a microphone it's for you they were all I just want to linger on this for a moment because I know there's some of you you've listened over the last couple of days you've heard the incredible gifts the incredible ministries that have been here on this platform and I think sometimes that there is an opposite effect of what's intended that sometimes people can see these things and instead of inspiring them it actually makes them begin to feel self-conscious and they begin to think you know what does God have to do with me I'm not as cool as Todd wider I'm not as rate of a preacher as Nathan Morris I'm not willing winning millions of people of Christ like Ryan are bonky and all these thoughts begin to come into your mind and I want you to understand something this is not about you becoming like any one of us this is about you becoming exactly what God created you to be and it's gonna be totally original and if you don't think that you're qualified you're the perfect candidate we were having a fire conference in Nigeria this was probably a couple years back and I remember this so vividly because it was a precious memory in those conferences of course they're much much larger than this the one we just had in in Lagos last week had 80,000 people attend the fire conference so it's impossible to come around and lay our hands at each person individually so the Lord gave me a different strategy what I what I did is I said I'm gonna call all of the senior pastors and bishops to the front and I'm gonna lay hands on you and then I'm gonna send you back into the crowd so instead of one person laying hands it's like five hundred people laying hands on the people it's a good idea right so I called all these senior bishops forward and of course these men and and if you don't anything about Africa you know in Africa titles are very important you know you'll meet sometimes people that is apostle prophet pastor Bishop patriarch and you get him you got to get him in the right order and God forbid you miss one and and you know who the bishops are because they look like vicious it's not like us I mean we look like punks but in Africa the bishops look like bishops so you know they're all standing there and I remember I called these men forward and they're lined up in the front and see about four rows back in the front there's this young guy he's probably 17 or 18 years old and he's so hungry I've been watching him through the conference and I could see just that an expression on his face of hunger and when I called the pastors forward he just couldn't resist he looked to his left he looked to his right I'm watching the whole thing and he see he snuck in with the pastors and he just stood there like a bishop and I kind of smirked I smile I said bless him it's not gonna hurt anything but then I saw one of those bishops look and he saw the guy and then the bishop on the other side looked and they saw and then the two bishops made eye contact and they agreed and they said get out of here go back go back go back and they pushed him back and I saw him go back to his seat and he stood there and he was so dejected and he was sad and you could tell he just felt like all the wind had been let out of his sails and I'm standing on the platform watching the whole scene and the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said go down there and pray for him and so with thousands and thousands of people there I went down off the platform and I went right towards where he was sitting and of course all the bishops stood up real straight they thought I was coming to pray for them but no no I pushed right past the bishops and went to the 17 year old kid here's the beautiful thing I started to pray for him and the power of God came on him and he began to stagger around now some of you don't know what I'm talking about Europe you'll see it in a second at the end of the night everything will be very clear he was getting sloppy drunk in the Holy Ghost and he was staggering around like somebody that had a little bit too much to drink and there was uh sure's there who were there to help me and they went to steady him but when they touched him they both got blasted and were thrown violently on the ground and he just kept stumbling around so a couple other archers saw the predicament they rush over to help and when they touched him they got blasted so now people are starting to put two and two together and I see uh sure's suddenly becoming very interested in helping so from all over the place the ushers are coming and every uh sure listen to me I hope this is of this our whole team saw it happen every usher that touches him is getting blasted some of them are flying through the air and then the people begin to see it and suddenly it wasn't just a sure's it was everybody running to him and it was amazing it was like from all circles have you ever seen the matrix you know it was like they're running at it from all circles and being blasted out this way it was amazing and I sat back and I just I was so happy in my heart that God chose to do that because he just showed everybody there that you don't have to be a big Bishop you don't have to have a certain outfit you don't need a title all you need is a hungry heart Jesus will touch you Jesus will fill you Jesus will use you he'll make your critics jealous he'll make those ones who always said you would never amount to anything he will make them wonder in amazement with what he does in your life say Amen this is for you the words of the song were these it is for us all today it is for us all today and of course of course those words were not made up by somebody at Azusa Street those words are a reiteration of what Peter said on the day of Pentecost wouldn't the people looked and they were amazed that he stood up and he said this promise is for you for your children it's for all who are far away even as many as the Lord our God shall call and my brothers and sisters he was talking that day about you I'm so glad he said it because there are some people even today who say that what happened on the day of Pentecost was only for people that live 2,000 years ago and they've told you that you don't need it let me tell you something if Paul needed the Holy Spirit you do too if Peter needed the Holy Spirit you do too even Jesus it says how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil for God was with him do you realize that Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God part of the triune Godhead the work that he did on earth he did through the power of the Holy Spirit the same Holy Spirit that is now coming to you and is going to empower you you want to know why he did it that way he didn't have to do it like that he chose to do it that way because he wanted to show you what you can become he wanted to show you what you're called to be he wanted to demonstrate what it looks like when a man or woman is filled and covered and endued with the power from on high the power of the Holy Spirit that's what's coming to you now amen and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance and of course you know the story the people outside they were amazed they heard all of these crazy disciples speaking not just in Hebrew but in the languages of the world you know what I'm glad it happened that way because if they had only spoken in Hebrew then it would seem that the Holy Spirit had only come for the Jews that he had only come for the Hebrews but when they begin to speak in the languages of the world it was evidence of the ethnic interest of the Holy Spirit that he his desire was for the nations of the world his desire was for all peoples and all tribes and all tongues that they would come and that they would experience this fullness and the people on the outside looking in were amazed they thought it was a bunch of drunk folks again you'll see why they thought that in a moment but Peter stood up and he said these are not drunk as you suppose but this is that which was spoken of by the Prophet Joel your sons and your daughters shall prophesy young men shall see visions old men shall dream dreams upon my servants in my handmaidens will I pour out of my spirit in those days my friends have good news for you that which he was speaking about is this right here we are living in those days it's not a it's not a forward-looking prophecy like it was in the book of Joel today it is a present moment reality that you can step into and let me tell you something you don't have to beg for it because this is not your idea it's not my idea we're not coming up with this thing and begging God to do it it's his idea and so much so that it's actually crawled the promise of not a promise of the Father there are many promises but one is so special and God wants you to have it so bad that he calls it the promise of the Father this is for you you don't even have to wait until Christmas to unwrap it you can have it right now right here today now I told you yesterday I grew up in the Pentecostal church and when I was a boy I remember we used to have these things called tarrying meetings I don't know what she called it here in the UK tarrying meetings you remember those pastor Tony Terry in meetings and what that meant is that we would gather together usually on Sunday night and we would pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and then we would wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and of course I was a young man I was III didn't understand what was happening and so I would ask some of the more mature Christians I'd say what are we doing they say we're waiting and I said what are we waiting for they said we're waiting for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit I said well why are we waiting they said well because the disciples were waiting in the book of Acts so if they had to wait then we have to wait and I said well how long do we have to wait but I never could get an answer to that question do we wait for an hour do we wait for a week a month a year 10 years some of you have been waiting your whole lives so when I got a little bit older I read after chapter two for myself I made an amazing discovery you want to know what it is I discovered the reason that the disciples were waiting on the day of Pentecost they were waiting they went waited for about 10 days after Jesus ascended because the Holy Spirit had not yet been given that's what they were waiting for but then an amazing thing happened when the day of Pentecost had fully come the Holy Spirit was given and that was 2,000 years ago so do you know what that means for the last 2,000 years it is the Holy Spirit who has been waiting for you and so that's why I'm telling you today this is not a tarrying meeting this is a receiving meeting you will receive in the name of Jesus if you've been waiting for 20 years stop waiting tonight is your night you're gonna get it come and receive it by faith in Jesus name now listen I have prayed literally for hundreds of thousands of people by laying my own hands on them millions if you talk about praying over crowds but I'm talking about one-on-one lay hands hundreds of thousands I think I think the most that I've laid hands on in one meeting was like 10 to 12 thousand people takes hours okay and so one of the one of the experiences that I've had is I've got to see up close and personal many people receive the fire of God and I want to just say a couple of things to help you because I think there's some of you that have had such a hard time receiving and I just want to help you break through because I don't want you to wait anymore I don't want you to be discouraged anymore I don't want you to be frustrated anymore this is not that hard it's actually I think the easiest thing of all to receive I was preaching at a church in the United States and in the South this was this was years and years ago I had preached on the baptism into the Holy Spirit and then afterwards I was laying hands on people to receive and and of course in Pentecostal circles it's very important that they speak in tongues if they don't speak in tongues they sort of don't have that status right everybody wants to make sure that you speak in tongues now here's the thing if you're filled with the Holy Spirit you can speak in tongues and guess what else you can do you can prophesy you can heal the sick you can raise the dead you can cast out Devils you can have words of wisdom you can have words of knowledge you can have the gift of faith the gift of healing the gift of miracles it all belongs to you when you get the giver of the gift you understand and so yes I believe that you can speak in tongues but you're gonna do way more than that and so I was praying for people when the pastor brought me his son who was about seven or eight years old a cute little boy and and the boy when I looked at him he was weeping weeping with me with tears streaming down his face crocodile tears as we called it and his mouth which was shaking like he had been out in an Arctic frost just shivering shaking I said the Holy Ghost was all over this kid all over him but it was the pastor's son in the pastor said to me he said my son wants to speak in tongues but he has never yet spoken in tongues he said would you pray for him to receive that gift and so I just thought I would stand back and watch and I didn't you know I'd never been put in that position before so I just waited for the Lord to give me some wisdom and I I watched him and this is what the little boy was doing he was standing there weeping his mouth shaking and this is what he was saying I love you Jesus I love you Jesus I love you Jesus I love you Jesus I love you Jesus I love you Jesus over and over and over and over and I had an idea I thought I'm gonna conduct a little experiment and so I did something that I don't recommend you do but I'm just gonna tell you what I tried and what happened I told the little boy I said stop saying I love you Jesus so he said I praise You Jesus I praise You Jesus I praise Jesus I praise you I praised you I said stop saying I praise You Jesus he said I worship You Jesus I worship you Jesus I worship you Jesus I said stop saying that and every time he came up with a new cliche to talk about I took it away from him until his seven year old vocabulary had lost all of the spiritual lingo that he knew and so essentially what I had just done is I had shut the steam valve and now all that pressure was beginning to build and I didn't do anything else that he lay hands on him I did pray for him I just stood back folded my arms and watched and his face became to turn red and I could see all of that tension building up on the inside of him and suddenly like a volcano he just burst out in new tongues because you see it nothing else to express the deep rivers that were flowing on the inside of him it could only come out as a heavenly language and there's some of you tonight that there are going to be inexpressible rivers in your belly that are flowing and the only way that you're gonna be able to express it is by just praying in that heavenly language it won't make any sense to you that's okay do it anyway it'll feel really good this is what Jesus said out of your innermost being will flow and here is the mistake that a lot of people make a lot of people are waiting for a fireball to come out of heaven and hit them now that will happen to some of you but one of the problems with that is that a lot of people have this attitude they stand there and they say well if God wants to fill me let him fill me go well it hasn't happened yet must not be God's will and so then they go home and they say God didn't fill them I think you have people on the other side of the aisle they make another mistake you know you can fall off both sides of the horse there are ditches on both sides of the road and so people on the other extreme this is what they do they say you have to make the Holy Spirit fill you I have seen people teach Christians to speak in tongues and they said this they said say this after me shut about a Honda should about a Honda I said but I bought a Buick sure about a Honda should I bought a Honda should have a Honda and they say say a faster-faster-faster and then they say congratulations you got it my friend that is not it that's a nonsense that's nonsense okay if I offended you I'm sorry I still love you but that's not what we're after we're not after mindless in uh durable gibberish we want the fire of the Holy Ghost the power that comes with it and every manifestation that results pastor Tony if I'm if I'm my doctrines wrong you can tell me later but I'm telling you from my experience what you need is somewhere right in between those two extremes you can't make the Holy Spirit fill you but you also can't just stand there with your arms crossed waiting for a fireball to hit you so what can you do listen to me very carefully are you ready yield out of your innermost being Jesus said ran first water will flow and when we pray for you you're gonna feel something that you're gonna feel deep on the inside of you you're gonna feel a bubbling in indescribable bubbling on the inside you know what that is that is the Holy Ghost you see if you are a born-again Christian you already have the Holy Spirit did you know that the Holy Spirit came to live inside of you the day that you surrendered your life to Jesus he's there you don't need to ask him to come to you you have him but now what you need to do is yield to him as you yield to that bubbling what will happen is it will grow and as it grows you yield to it I see it in my mind if I could paint a picture it's like just collapsing into a soft downy comforter on a bed you just relinquish all of the things you're holding on to and all the control you're trying to have and the way you're trying to look to other people and all of the all of the I don't know the facades you're trying to put on the airs you're trying to put on gonna let it all go and you just surrender and as you surrender it grows and as it grows you surrender and assume that bubbling fountain would just overflow and you will be able to control it anymore it will be controlling you and it will sweep you along and it's so beautiful and you know I love to teach people to receive the Holy Ghost in this way for a very important reason you know what it is that if you learn to receive the Holy Spirit like this you have also learned to walk in the spirit because that is how you walk in the spirit from this day forward for the rest of your life you yield to him every day every day every day and he will sweep you along in his glorious river of divine will it's in that beautiful he said you stand with me all over this place I remember we were in Singapore Todd Tut's was there he saw this Peter Van Amburg we were there for one of our conferences and in this particular conference the people that had come were not charismatic sand they had never seen anything like what we were doing before for a couple of days I remember they just sat there looking very staunch very sort of unconvinced and then at the very end the last session was my turn and it was supposed to be the session where we pray for people to receive the baptism and so I remember standing up behind the pulpit like I'm standing right now and I said I said this to them okay if you can imagine I said you were a very difficult crowd but I said don't worry the Holy Spirit will fill you anyway I had not heard one Amen the whole conference okay so don't worry the Holy Spirit will fill you anyway and I think I was talking to myself more than I was talking to them you know sometimes we preachers we preach to ourselves you know David encouraged himself in the Lord and so I said don't worry the Holy Spirit will fill you anyway I said let's just pray together and we close our eyes and I was just praying an opening prayer and with God as my witness that several of these men here during the opening prayer the Holy Ghost fell on that room and such power that for an hour I put the microphone down I got off the platform and the Holy Spirit moved across that place for an hour people were filled with the Holy Spirit miracles happen people were slain in the spirit people had visions I mean the power of God exploded in that building and at the end when I came back up over an hour later and I took the microphone I looked out across that auditorium there were 4,000 people there it looked very similar to this and everywhere I looked there were chairs and bodies all over the ground it looked like a bomb had gone off in the place people were running around people were weeping people were laughing it was just glorious chaos and then I looked over here and I saw a couple of people in the midst of the chaos with bodies all around them they were standing there like this ground would you be surprised to know was the two white people in the group take that for what it's worth and I thought to myself Lord how is it possible that you can move in such power and there can be such glorious demonstrations of your spirit and someone can be completely unchanged and the Lord gave me a vision and this is what I saw listen very carefully I saw Jesus standing before those two people and in his hands he had a gift a beautiful gift wrapped in a bow and he was handing it to them he was extending it to them and they wanted to receive it I could see in their eyes they wanted it but there was a problem their arms were already full of other things and they had no room and I heard the Holy Spirit so clearly and this is what he said listen to me he said I will send no one away empty unless they come full of themselves I've heard something so wonderful Jesus wants to give you what you see more than you want to receive it but he can't give to you something if you're already full of other things I don't know what you're full of tonight maybe it's pride maybe it's self-righteousness maybe it's religiosity maybe it's theology some of us know so much about the Holy Spirit that he can't find a way in edgewise between all of our theology let me tell you what real hunger looks like this is what real hunger looks like it's a cry that says God I don't care what it looks like I don't care what you do I don't care if it looks the way that it looks still used to look I don't care if it sounds a particular way I don't care if I look foolish I don't care if this is what my denomination teaches or my pastor preaches I just want you and whatever that looks like I say yes to you Jesus I say yes to you so this is my final challenge to you tonight letting go all those preconceived ideas all those expectations all those demands all of that stress all of those feelings of disappointment for many many years all of those concerns about what other people might think about you or what might happen to you or what might not happen to you just let it go it's said Jesus I just and I want the promise he said that if you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Ghost to those that asks so this is what we're gonna do right now we're gonna ask okay and this is so simple you're not gonna beg you're not a beggar you're a son you're a daughter you're a child of God so right now listen to James and this is what I want you to say very simply say father I come to you in the name of Jesus to collect on your promise a pirate to collect on your promise and I receive the gift the promise of the Father the gift of the Holy Ghost fill me now in Jesus receive it right now whatever you want all over this place just take it take it take it take it to you five fire fight receive in the name of Jesus my friend listen all around you people are receiving you
