testimony of this song for a couple years and this morning I was like lord I don't think I'm gonna tell the test way I'm just gonna do the song again and he was like oh I do love that story I might even come out here and I was like fine okay but I just want to tell the story really quick I I've had a bone and skin disease for 20 years and I still believe he's a miracle working God okay and it has been a joy to believe beyond circumstance cuz I'm so hopelessly in love with Jesus where else would I go and a couple years ago probably four years ago I woke up one morning and you know those mornings you wake up and it's like all of Hell is sitting on top of you and I was like oh my gosh the oppression the heaviness in my head the thoughts the doubt and I said lord I need you to take this and the Lord spoke to me he said Melissa I want you to sing your way out and I said no I want you to just take it and then he didn't say anything and I was like wow okay I got up started getting ready and I prayed again god I need you to take this the heaviness the pain in my body and the Lord said to me said Melissa sing your way out and I said no I want you to just take it you ever been there where you're like no you do the work Lord come on so I'm I took a shower I'm getting ready third time I said lord please lift the pain lift the heaviness and the third time he said to me Melissa I want you to sing your way out cuz I'm teaching you something about the power of your voice and I'm teaching you something about what happens when you come into agreement with who I am on the inside of you that's when things should and I was like well that makes sense okay fine I'll do it so I'm literally blow-drying my hair I like doing this for all the women that you never forget when you blow-dry your hair we flip it over for more volume can I get an amen so I'm like this I'm blow-drying my hair and I'm thinking of myself sing your way out sing your way out sing your way out and literally from the guts of who I am I'm blood dry right here for more volume I'm upside down and I say at the top of my lungs I am strong and full of lies I am steadfast no compromise I lift myself to the sky I'm gonna catch the wind I'm gonna catch the wind and immediately the heaviness lifted immediately all the oppression lifted the pain in my body lifted in this this is what I learned in our moment that the enemy is afraid of me and what the enemy is the most terrified of is the sound of your voice when you stand in confidence in who Jesus is on the inside of you are you ready to shake this arena like to worship the Lord a little more good because it's offering time so we can we can worship Him with our finances guys as you head back to your seat I want to do something tonight a little bit different for the offering I have the instructions of how to give and all that we need to do but I want to do something very very different I was reminded in worship over scripture that kind of shocks me and it will probably shock you too it says the kings of the earth it's in Psalm 45 it says the kings of the earth they come to Jesus and they bring their gifts and they beg for his favor they beg they throw gold at him they throw silver at him and they give all that they can and all that they have because they get next to Jesus and they realize this man is worth what have he's more important than me and they just throw their stuff at the Lord I think it's amazing that non-christian kings of the earth one day will throw everything at Jesus at his feet because they'll sense that this is what I have is it's more worthy to be in his hands than mine but sometimes we hold back this little thing that we have called money and we proclaim our love for the Lord but one of the ways we really love Jesus is actually by giving and if the king in the earth who doesn't know God can give because he wants to seek the favor of Jesus surely we should do the same and more God has given us eternal life you're not a king in the earth you're not a person of the earth you're a person of Jesus and I love what Eric said today all Jesus is all so if Jesus is all it means he's all about money as well is that true I heard someone say once they said Jesus doesn't look at how much you give he looks at how much you keep and I think that's true I feel like we're in a moment where we're surrendering everything to God and you hear a lot of offering speeches and the speeches are all like you should do this because God will give you this I don't want to do that tonight I don't want to throw any manipulation to you at all I want to ask you to give because Jesus is worth everything I want to ask you to give to him whatever he says to you whatever he puts on your heart because there's nothing more valuable than him I find it strange sometimes that there's a tug-of-war over our money when we all we've been given a brand new heart by God and we've given our spirit to him I was sitting in a church one time and I was on the front road preaching and the offering basket came by and the Lord said to me so into this church and I said God I'm preaching in my head and he said every church you go to I want you to give money to some of you pastors will invite me now uh anyway every church he said every time you go to preach give money to the church and I said why I said because you've given them your spirit it's far more valuable what is money you came here and said God you can have my whole heart but you can't have my last 30 dollars it's not the way it's God in all God through all and God I trust you with all and God I give you whatever you tell me to give because you are all it's an investment that cannot be broken because you're giving back to your lover you'll surely give back to you I found out from my father the other day my father in Australia that to build a road that goes for one mile just one mile of concrete it costs 1 million dollars for one mile of concrete I said dad is that true he said yep one bit of road from here to there one mile is 1 million dollars and the Lord spoke in my heart he said how much more is it worthy to throw all your finances and build a road for Jesus to meet people and to take people into eternity how much more worthy is building the kingdom of God if we're gonna spend a million bucks in a road so I pray that tonight would be the night that cancels and finishes the debt that is owed for this whole event not we have four more offerings or not we try and believe why don't we just do it now why don't we get it over with and then we can go Jesus we worshipped you as well without giving and surely you're a great reward we need roughly two to three hundred thousand euro sorry I thought I was in Germany for a second we need two to three hundred thousand dollars let's just give it all to the Lord who here has been transformed this week already who would gladly give to Jesus because you love him oh man such an honor huh so I'm gonna join with you but I want to pray that God would speak to you there's no give a thousand get ten thousand back that is nonsense we're gonna we're just gonna give to the Lord because we love him more than we love our money father I ask you then you would speak to every person do you place figures and numbers in their heart and if they can't hear anything Lord I pray that they would give out of the abundance of their heart to the Lord I pray Jesus that every person tonight would discover what it means to sew into the future and build a road for Jesus people for a movement to spread across the world I pray that they would see this as a moment where they're building the future of your kingdom in this country and the nations of the world and I asked your father that whatever you speak to us that we wouldn't negotiate with you that we just say yes now listen to the voice of your father right now what is he telling you tonight to sew into this Jesus Movement I believe he's about to speak to you okay if God's talking to you or you sense in your heart a figure what you want to give to the Lord go for it right now they're passing around these if you need to get by credit card all that sort of stuff you they're passing around the things right now the pizza paper and if you want to keep giving keep that that's beautiful it's easier for people to give without music keep that points please there you go there you go yeah so as you know Jesus school is in full swing and actually before we get there I think we trained over 600 people today through time to revive a precious ministry who literally how many of you went out today on outreach and we're trained by time to revive what you think yeah and they literally do this 24/7 and it's an honor to you know instead of just trying to do everything yourself it's wise to connect and be in relationship with people who have a grace on them that's so specific and beautiful so you guys hit the streets today in the restaurants and the tourist areas with the gospel and thousands heard the gospel today outside of the building which is amazing so can we thank the Lord for that yeah come on you can do better than that that's what it's all about beautiful also I met with Seth Dahl in the back before yeah before service tonight and we talked about what the Lord has been doing in the kids services he told me that like the whole room got born again this afternoon and it was such a beautiful Eric and I were listening to the way they shared the gospel with the kids I'm gonna butcher it but basically they had the kids had like a shopping cart I'm gonna ruin it all that to say they did this illustration where the kids had a massive price to pay that they couldn't pay and they were asked the question do you want to pay the price or do you want Jesus to pay the price and to take away and wash your sin do you want to give your life to Him and the kids today were born-again and touched by the Holy Spirit I saw the footage there were young kids on the ground under the power of God come on this is wonderful thank you lord I'm telling you to me that that's more important than what's going on in here it's just a dream come true that our children are being touched by the Lord it's beautiful so that's just an update back to Jesus school God is changing so many lives I believe that there are many of you here tonight who God is calling to Jesus school we are as you can see all about Jesus here and we want you one who invites you to hear the Holy Spirit and ask him whether or not he's calling you to join us what God is doing there is supernatural we've got a little video here that we want to run and then I'll just share a few more things with you and then we'll hand it over to Dan our heart is to see people birth from Jesus school to impact the nations of the world that they would be released to the nations they'd be released to homes maybe it's the leader family maybe it's a little business maybe it's to preach the gospel success to us is his present success to us is pleasing alone since I've been here he's taking everything out that is of me and he's filled me back with him to be attached to the Heart of Jesus they're so powerful and the fact that we're actually being stripped as vessels every single day here at school we're literally being emptied out sororities collects more with himself yes Lord you have my yet I'm going I encountered him on a dairy business encountering real joy and real peace they were worshiping whether we're listening to the word Jesus always shows up and so Jesus school has one main ambition that is to love him and see of Jesus people raised up that will shake the earth for the glory of God yeah we've we found I think a really beautiful holy rhythm at the school and every Thursday we minister to the Lord for a few hours and then we're out in the community sharing the gospel this is every week on Mondays we meet together and have a massive meal as one big family and talk about Jesus and Tuesday and Wednesday are full-on full-throttle times in the presence of God as we teach the scriptures in the presence of Jesus one of our one of our habits that I believe is from the Holy Spirit is that we never tell our students who is preaching and who is coming to preach because we don't want our students gathering for their favorite preacher we want them to gather because Jesus is beautiful and it's really creating this stir and a hunger and it's forming this internal holy culture in the hearts of our students and it is my favorite place in the world to preach and I've been blessed to preach in some of the greatest places in the world so I have one of our students here are we doing Ryan in Jimmy come on both y'all this is Jimmy this is Ryan and well I won't share the story of how we met Jimmy but just take a couple minutes here and talk about what the Lord's done so okay so at 21 I was at a mental hospital because I lied to the military about suicide and I had a radical encounter with Jesus in the middle hospital the second day and then I mean it's long story but God brought me on this path to really be at Jesus school so I mean through three years of watching first Todd and then coming to fire conference in 2016 and then and then Jesus conferencing you shared about the school and something in me left to go to the school I can't explain it it's like this deep burning in me just left and I'm so I applied and then we had our first interview so when Michael called me it was unknown and I saw I didn't pick up I didn't know what it was but then anyway we were rescheduled and we I was he asked me to share a little bit of my testimony and basically he was finishing my testimony for me I said I was in a mental hospital and he said oh you God let me give the better version no you're doing good because I'm learning no you're doing awesome come on let him know you love him because he's doing great here so when I called Jimmy I instantly he started talking I said share your testimony I said oh yeah you're from South Jacksonville and he's like what yeah and then you were in a mental hospital and he's like okay how do you know this I said yeah and you went to school in Ohio and then it the Lord just started showing me stuff about him and I had never met him and he goes this is the freakiest school interview I have ever had and it actually freaked me out and I I called my father-in-law I said hey bub that ever happen to you I'm just talking to someone and the Lord started speaking you that way goes yes my advice would be that you accept him so that was one of the shortest acceptance processes we've had at this school so yeah so I I just really didn't know how to be real I lied in my entire life always had a mask and I mean it's my testimony I did military you know so I just didn't know how to be real and even being a Christian I didn't I didn't know what it was like to just be myself I didn't and so being at the school just really I could hide in my secret place but I didn't know how to hide in the open and so going to the school really allowed me and through Jessica's testimony really revealed to me that the and like what Michael says like God Canon anoint my mask and so it's just a process of learning how to be real being authentic with Jesus and letting him shed everything that's not of him and fill it with with him it's what he was created before us to be completely in His image and not in my own image and who I thought I was supposed to be you know and so yeah I'm just so grateful for what they've sacrificed what you guys have born into and thank you for for doing this yeah thank you this is this is Ryan mabe Carla runs our office and actually we just burst as you guys know a church I never thought that would happen the Lord birthday and Carla is running our children's department along with Ryan and they've moved their entire life from Salinas California which is next door to Pebble Beach which you better know it's the Lord if you're moving to Orlando from Pebble Beach but uh Ryan has a powerful stories to launch go ahead and share that just like Jimmy I was a drug addict alcohol that lied my whole life just destroyed people's lives and one day I was in the shower cried out to the Lord gave my life to Jesus he came into me I saw stuff supernaturally to leave in my life and from that day forward he and I destroyed my marriage prior to that me and my wife two years have just absolutely destroyed it and then in an instant God restored everything in a moment in the shower with the Lord and I'm so coming to Jesus here I got saved five years ago and coming to Jesus school like Jimmy there was still stuff in my life that I was I had walls up in barriers in my life that I wouldn't allow people to come in just because of you know whether it be past hurts or things in my life and I heard Jessica's story on I believe it was the first week of school and when I heard her story just these walls came down I came to her I said man I said that that's me everything you're saying is me she was so vulnerable and authentic and I didn't know how to be like that I couldn't I I could be like that with my wife but I couldn't be like that with anybody else and so when I heard Jessica's story it just all those walls came down and I opened up and she's actually she was like you're actually one of the faces that I seen while I was speaking and from that day forward I learned how to be real how to live authentic how to live as a son and yeah and so I just come in to Jesus school I realized how much I really needed Jesus how much I really need him and everything that I do and walk it into that place week after week you know that when you go into a place and that the air is thin you know that he is waiting for you in a place you know you're waiting to go but that he is waiting for you and when you step in it's just it's changed my life it's been a dwelling place for the Lord and so yeah that's what it's been it's it yeah oh yeah now that I'm crying yeah just to add to that it's just so special to be together with Jesus I mean I never knew that we would get to be a part of something like that I tell our students all the time you tell us how much that we've touched your life speak you guys touch our lives every day I'm just so grateful to hear that so yeah the video you watched I always joke around the girl at the end on the floor that couldn't get up that was me and that was Steph that was praying for me and Ben Wilson was praying for me and Todd white and been Fitz prayed for me that day was after the sin and we were just praying and I was hungry too because you know what you should never stop being hunger you always have to be hungry for more so we were praying for people and I said I want to go in the fire tunnel too I need more of Jesus and I had my first face-to-face encounter that day with Jesus and just what if there's a bunch of hungry people that gathered together for Jesus he's always there he meets you right there there's just nothing like it so if you have a stir in your height we want to invite you to come lay you know to preach the gospel but before Daniel comes up as many of you know evangelist Reinhard Bonnke has gone on to be with Jesus and how many of you are grateful for the amazing life around hard bunker yeah wonderful friend a father and [Applause] encourage her to us all who lived a life of purity and authenticity and integrity I don't think it's a stretch to say that I personally I probably would not be here today there probably would not be most likely a Jesus image had Reinhardt not stepped into my life and encouraged me the way he did but I do want to say this and I want our entire family here the Jesus image family to say that of course we honor Reinhard he's been a dear friend of our family I think since the late 70s he and my father-in-law have been friends since then and I I do miss him and and and love him but I also want to say that we are behind Daniel in a Rebecca and we believe in Daniel and Rebecca and I'm asking everyone here to get behind Daniel Rebecca and the entire CFN family and if Reinhardt could say anything from heaven it would be preached Jesus and I want us to stand behind this precious family who is precious to us and their children I want us to pray for them I want us to pray for SI phan I want us to get behind them in more ways than one and be a blessing the Lord loves people and few people in history have preached the gospel so beautifully and faithfully as the ministry of Reinhard Bonnke and now Daniel kolenda in keeping with that I want to say that Daniel and Rebecca are some of the most real and wonderful kind humble people that I know and Daniel has always been there for me he's been a precious friend to me and in a constant voice of encouragement and love and so the world is better because of them and I pray that their greatest days are ahead and I know that by faith that their greatest days are ahead I want us all to stand and welcome my dear friend Daniel Linda to the platform would you do that please [Applause] you can be seated tonight Wow I feel like we've already got what we came here for even even before the worship was over up my spirit already felt full I feel like we got the gospel we got the presence we got everything we didn't go home I want to say just a couple of things that I guess that need to be said especially given the fact that that Michael mentioned the passing of evangelist bunkie first of all I want to say to you Michael and Jess thank you for your love and friendship you know one of the things that I've seen you know we were at reinhardt's funeral a few days ago in his memorial that's coming up I'll tell you about that a little bit more in a minute but often when someone passes away it's common it's customary for us to say nice things about them but it's too late then I think we need to get better at telling people the way we feel while they're alive and that's why you know it was after that funeral Michael and I left we went straight to Dallas for Todd's birthday and one of the reasons that I went as I said look this is one dear friend who's passed on he can't hear the nice things that I'm saying about him in this world I'm gonna go where one of my friends is still alive who can hear what I'm gonna say about him and and I want to say in the presence of all of you it's Michael and Jessica thank you for your friendship and thank you for your love you know there are very in life you'll discover that there are a few people that God gives to you as friends that are very special you're gonna meet hundreds maybe thousands of people over the course of a lifetime but there will be a handful of people that are just there for you like a brother like a sister and they they they spend some of the most precious moments of their life together with you and there's a bomb that you share with them that is unprecedented and unique in and very special and that's the way I feel about you Michael and Jessica I love you I respect you I thank God for what he's doing with with the ministry that he entrusted to you and I believe that for you as well the day the best days are ahead in Jesus name and I'll say from Reinhard he loved you guys and he believed in you and I know that he's standing before the throne of God praying for you so we love you guys and you know while I'm mentioning people that are special to me as I look around this room I see so many of them this is like this is more than a conference to me this is kind of like a family reunion because honestly these these guys and these ladies as I even as I look here across this room it's incredible that I get to run with you guys and get to I hate the word do life you know I hate that I don't know what that means but whatever it means I'm doing it with with you guys I looked over during the worship and I saw Brian just weeping and I see everybody with joy and their faces and there's just this authenticity those of you that are a part of this movement I want you to understand this is authentic this is real this is not a bunch of actors up here performing for you this is us and this is what God is doing this is a Jesus Movement and I'm so thankful that we all get to be a part of the con just put your hands together and thank the Lord thank Michael and Jess Lord thank you for that amen amen you know it's very typical that when I preach I will often talk a little bit about what God is doing in Africa and one of the reasons I do that is because number one it's extraordinary it's unprecedented how many of you know we are living right now in the greatest season of harvest in the history of the world now I know that many of you are getting your news from ABC NBC CBS Fox CNN whatever it is that you're watching or listening to and you're getting all the bad news and you might think that the world is going to hell in a handbasket but here's the good news this is the day of salvation there will never be a better day than today God is moving around the world we have seen in Africa since 1987 over 79 million documented decisions for Christ and that's just one little ministry in one little corner of God's harvest field and so I was getting ready to leave I just come back from another trip and I landed in Orlando which is where we live many of us here I live in Orlando and I was supposed to get on a flight the next day and go to a crusade in Nigeria and I'd heard that evangelist oh we got some Nigerians here where the Nigerians come on all the Nigerians stand you're my favorites I love Nigeria and so I heard that evangelist bunkie was had to go to the hospital he had some health problems as far as I knew it wasn't anything super serious but it was it was a practice of mine whenever I was in town I would go visit him and have lunch with him I'd see him and I just had this feeling I need to go see Rahner before I leave to go to Africa and and I really didn't know why but I just felt it in my heart and so I did something very unusual asked my assistant changed my flight I'll leave it a day early and it was kind of risky because that meant I would only arrive about three hours before the crusade but I just felt like like I needed to go see him and so when I got there you know he he was not in as good of shape as I expected that he would be and he wasn't really lucid and I talked with him and I prayed for him and I wasn't sure how much of it he understood and then I bent down over his bed and I kissed his forehead and I said sorry I'm being a little bit transparent with you is that okay I said Ronald I love you and just for a moment he became lucid just for a few seconds and he looked and he recognized me said Daniel I love you too I love you and he wrapped his arm around me my wife was there with me Rebecca and somehow I knew what I walked out of the room that would be the last time and somebody told me that the last words reinhardt said to them was preach the gospel and that's pretty profound but I like mine better he said I love you and it was hard for me to leave because knowing that he probably wouldn't last until I got back from Africa it was hard to go get on a plane and leave but I knew he wouldn't want me sitting by his bedside crying I knew that he want me to go preach the gospel because there were people that need to hear and so I was in the City of Ottawa kiti in Nigeria and West Africa and it was on Thursday night I believe it was in the morning there and got the message that Reinhart had gone to be with Jesus and of course you can imagine what it was like how surreal that was to be in the middle of a crusade the ministry Ronna bonky founded and while we were there preaching the gospel he went to be with Jesus and so I was able to share that night with the crowd the news that he had gone to be with the Lord and it was just you could feel it tangibly people audibly invisibly were moved by that because African loves Reinhardt Bonnke and what impact he that man made on a continent I'm not crying for Reinhardt because he's in a he's in a much better place and I know we use that we say that kind of as a cliche I'm really weeping for us because we feel that sense of loss but I just pray that the Lord would give us the grace to live a life worthy of the calling that he's given to us and to run our race well may we finish as well as Reinhardt Bonnke did I think that would be a great testimony and so I'm just gonna play a little clip for you and what this is it's just a little bit of footage of that night so you're gonna kind of get two birds with one stone here you're gonna see the crusade where we were and what God is doing in Africa and you're also gonna get to see a little bit of that night when Reinhardt Bonnke pass passed away what it was like in Nigeria so let's go ahead and roll that clip if you would do what the Holy Spirit is telling you to do he will take care of you jesus said when the Holy Spirit comes upon you you will receive power like a mighty rushing wind the Holy Spirit will you [Applause] meet Jesus he comes to live on the inside of you and when Jesus comes to live on the inside of him he makes you a new creation you're gonna pick up a Bible you're gonna become a preacher of the gospel your life will change tonight in Jesus name how does it feel mama I feel Betty fine [Music] now I know she's been healed our great father evangelist Reinhardt Bonnke earlier today he graduated to heaven and it's amazing that it happened while we were right here in Ottawa kiti even though my heart is sad but he is gone i have great joy because today he is in heaven with Jesus evangelist Reinhardt Bonnke had one purpose in his life he wanted to lead people into the arms of Jesus one day he will meet him in heaven will you meet him there I thank you for the life of Reinhardt Bonnke and lord I pray that now that he has gone to his eternal reward lord I pray that you would raise up millions of people in his place and Lord I declare over Nigeria as he did so many times I declare it prophetically and through faith that Africa shall be saved cheese's a [Applause] [Music] [Applause] isn't that beautiful now I'm gonna share a couple things with you later on this evening I'm gonna share with you a clip of Reinhart itself speaking to us and if you can make it through that I'll be amazed and I'm also gonna tell you a story tonight I you know I I love stories I love illustrations I'm an evangelist but I really got my love for storytelling from Reinhardt Bonnke and I'm gonna tell you tonight one of my favorite Reinhardt Bonnke stories and to be honest I could probably just tell the story and go home because it's that powerful but we're gonna get to that in a moment if you have your Bibles tonight open them with me to the book of first Peter chapter 1 first Peter chapter 1 and while you're opening there I just want to mention a couple of things number one we have a resource table that you probably have seen out of the corner of your eye there in the in the resources area and a lot of great things there that you can have a look at but one of the things I just want to tell you about is my brand new book called slaying dragons which is just it actually it has not come out yet it's set to be released in January but I convinced the publisher to let me have some here tonight for you guys so this book is absolutely brand-new hot off the press it's burning my fingers and it really is I'm really excited about this because it is I believe a fresh perspective on spiritual warfare and you know over the years I've read many many spiritual warfare books and and often not always but sometimes I feel like what I'm reading belongs more in a Harry Potter novel then in the coming out of the Bible and I felt like we need some solid biblical teaching on event on not just evangelism but on deliverance and spiritual warfare how to cast out demons how to get victory over demonic influence in your own life and how to touch the world with the power of the gospel and so I would really encourage you to get that it is a little bit of a it's a book that's gonna challenge you not only spiritually but mentally as well you know when I preach I'm trying to preach so that everyone can understand even the children but when I write I'm touching deeper things and so if you have a hunger for those things I know that's not for everybody some of you just like to just like to splash in the shallow end but for those of you that like to go a little bit deeper I'm an evangelist I step on toes that's what I do okay if you didn't want that you shouldn't have come listen to an evangelist anyways I would encourage you to get that slight dragons book I think you'll be very blessed and one of the things that I do in that book is I teach you in the end how to cast out demons now this is not coming from a marble writing desk at the University where someone is pontificating and theorizing about what it's probably like to cast out a demon this is coming from somebody who encounters demonic possession every day and when you are in when you are confronted with a real demon you discover something you're not nearly as smart as you thought you were some of you don't even think demons are real I dare you to come with me on one trip to the third world you will come back to me with wide eyes your mouth open saying what in the world was that that's the world that we live in so I really would encourage you to get that we need that the topic of deliverance is very neglected in the church partly out of fear and partly out of ignorance and it's time to put an end we have got to learn to take our place with dominion over the power of the enemy there is too much demonic oppression running rampant in the body of Christ we have authority over that dragon amen I better stop or I'll start going down a rabbit trail also before I start preaching let me just introduce to you the most important people in the room to me first my wife Rebecca is right here in the front row come on stand up sweetheart is this she beautiful stand back up come on turn around let them see you is this she beautiful hi I went I went to Ghana with her and with my daughter who's I think she was 12 at the time and on the front page of the newspaper it said that evangelist kolenda has visited Ghana with his two daughters my wife is ageless and also a few of my children are here tonight Elijah Gloria London Lydia would you guys just stand up come on stance everybody could see you there right here in the front row these good-looking kids I've got one more at home he's 2 years old and he is not born again I don't know I'm we had to leave him Chrissy we're working on it we're working on it but and I don't know if that was theologically and and really honestly I wish that I could go through here and name every one of you guys I love you all so much you're so special to me and what a joy it is to be here with you okay we are in the book of first Peter chapter 1 verse 18 and this is my text for tonight and then we're also going to turn to Ephesians chapter 5 verse 16 and that is my theme so let's start here in first Peter chapter 1 verse 18 for you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors but it was with the precious blood of Jesus Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot hallelujah let me tell you something if you are a child of God that verse should thrill you to the bone in fact it thrills me so much I'm gonna read it again if you want to get fired I've just read it for you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors but you were redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot hallelujah that's my text and then if you have your Bibles go ahead and turn with me a few books earlier to the book of Ephesians if you're not familiar with the Bible go back to the left Ephesians chapter 5 verse 16 this is what it says redeeming the time for the days are evil and I don't want to talk to you about the redeeming blood let's pray father I thank you for the presence of the Holy Spirit that I feel that I sense even right now Lord I know that your spirit lingers at the foot of the cross and I thank you that tonight as I preach your word and as I preach this eternal gospel Lord I pray that you would penetrate every heart with truth and if there's anybody here tonight Lord that doesn't know you I pray that you would draw them to you that you would open up your arms wide that you would draw in every prodigal son every prodigal daughter Lord that you would cause them to come in that you would change their lives tonight I think it would speak to their hearts in Jesus name I pray and everybody said amen you know one of the stories that I that I tell in Africa is a story that I heard years ago actually I read it in an old book that was written by a Baptist pastor and this this book was written about 1901 1902 somewhere in the beginning of the 1900s and this Baptist pastor said that he was working on a Saturday afternoon to prepare his sermon for Sunday morning how many of you pastors in the room know what that's like working Saturday afternoon first don't do that but he was preparing and he was getting his sermon together and he started to you know feel like he needed to stretch his legs and so he went he stood up and he began to walk through the little town where he lived and as he was walking he noticed something peculiar there was a little boy of about seven or eight years old and the boy had in his hand a birdcage and inside the cage there were a bunch of little sparrows probably birds he had caught in the field and he had a stick in his other hand and through the bars of that cage he was jabbing those birds and as he were was stabbing the birds they were shrieking and feathers were flying and the boy was laughing and when the pastor saw this his heart was full of compassion for those little birds and so he drew close to that boy and he said son what are you doing and the boy said Oh pastor he said I'm tormenting these birds I love to hear them scream I love to see their feathers fly and he was just smiling from ear to ear the pastor said son what do you plan to do it though birds when you're finished tormenting them the boy said Oh pastor that's the best part when I'm finished I'm gonna take them home and I'm gonna take them out of their cage one by one and one by one I'm going to pull all their feathers off and one by one I'm gonna feed them to my cat the boy was very happy but the pastor was heartbroken for these little birds he said son he said why don't you give those birds to me let me have those the boy said no pastor these are my birds I caught them myself they're my property the pastor said well then son I'll buy them from you how much do you want from them he said no pastor you don't need to buy these birds you can go to the market these are ordinary filled birds you can buy as many as you want the pastor said no son I don't want those birds I want your birds he said tell me her price I'll pay any price and he opened up his wallet and when he opened up his wallet the little boy saw inside that he had some money in there and his eyes got very big because even a 7 or an 8 year old can sense a business opportunity the little boy said well pastor how much money do you have in that wallet the pastor said I have about $2 which was a lot of money in 1901 and the little boy said well what a coincidence pastor these birds cost exactly two dollars the little boy was obviously ripping the pastor off and he knew it but he wanted to save the birds and so he pulled the money out of his wallet he handed it to the boy he took that cage and went his way and the next day he stood up in front of his congregation and he told the story to his church and he said I took that birdcage out into the field and he said I opened the door and I backed away and I watched what happened to those birds and he said each one of them hopped to the door of the cage and one by one they spread their wings and one by one they began to fly and as they flew began to sing and they all sang the same song and this was their song redeemed redeemed redeemed and this is what the word redeemed means it means to liberate by the payment of a ransom and this is what the Bible says happened to us it says that we were redeemed what have we been redeemed by the Bible says we have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and I want you to notice something in this passage in 1st Peter he contrasts the precious blood of Jesus with perishable things he says such as silver and gold I want you to think about this for a moment there are very few things in the world more precious than silver and gold if you take a bar of gold and you bury it in the ground a person can come along ten thousand years later and dig it up and it's still the same bar of gold it hasn't broken down it hasn't decayed it is it is incorruptible it is precious on the other side of the spectrum we have blood a bodily fluid if if you cut your arm and you begin to bleed before that drop of blood is hit the ground it has already begun to break down and decay the moment it touches that dirt it's useless few things are more corruptible than silver and gold but when Peter writes about the blood of Jesus he flips it around he says compared to the blood of Jesus silver and gold are the corruptible substances because the blood of Jesus is so precious it is so precious it is so precious listen to me my friend the blood of Jesus is the only thing that ever cost heaven anything I talked to you last night about those first nine words of John 3:16 for God so loved the world that He gave but what is it that he gave in fact let me ask the question this way what could God give as gift to you that would actually show you his love what could God give that would cost him anything you know if God gave you a million dollars you'd probably be very happy about that but really it wouldn't cost God anything he owns he owns the cattle on a Thousand Hills that the fullness the abundance the resources of all the earth are his he could give you a million dollars without it costing him anything even if he created a universe I don't know what you do with it you might appreciate it but it wouldn't cost him anything you know the Bible says that when God created the world's read Genesis chapter 1 it says that he spoken out of the words of his mouth the worlds were formed isn't that amazing when God created the universe he didn't break a sweat he didn't strain a muscle he simply spoke in the worlds were formed but when he purchased your salvation hold my brothers and sisters he did more than speak hitted more than just pray he poured out his very life's blood for you creation cost him nothing but your salvation cost him everything and my friend that's why I can tell you tonight the blood of Jesus is the most powerful substance in the world because it was the most expensive and costly substance in all of the world the blood of Jesus is God's answer in fact it is God's only answer for all of the problems in this world you know when you go to a doctor the doctor will diagnose you and he'll say maybe maybe you come in and you've got a headache and you say doctor I I need something to fix my headache he'll he'll prescribe a pill to you because that's what doctors do they prescribe medicine and I'm not knocking on doctors but what happens is this when you take the medicine it will fix one problem and cause two new problems and so you'll go back to the next day and you'll say doctor my head is okay but now my stomach's hurting no problem here is another pill every problem the doctor has a new pill but when you go to God he doesn't have a new pill for every problem god only has one remedy he only has one answer he only has one solution it is the blood of Jesus Christ if you say God I need salvation here is the blood of Jesus God I need healing here is the blood of Jesus God I need deliverance the blood of Jesus the blood of Jesus the blood of Jesus hallelujah it's God's remedy I I said that one time in a meeting I said God doesn't have a different pill for every problem one guy said yeah it's the God's only pill is the gospel a good dad joke all of these things that I've just said to you tonight I know many of you are familiar with and you would all say Amen too but maybe it's a nothing new to you but here's something you may not have thought of before are you ready we know that we have been redeemed and we know what we have been redeemed by although I could talk about the blood of Jesus all night but here's a question for you what have we been redeemed from shout it out if you know the answer shout it out a I've heard a lot of different things we've been redeemed from sin we've been reading from bondage we've been redeemed from darkness all those things are true that's not what it says let's go back to 1st Peter and look at what it says here 1st Peter chapter 1 look at this it's amazing are you ready for you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of living handed down to you by your ancestors but you were redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus as of a lamb without blemish and without spot it doesn't say you're a demon from Hell although that's true it doesn't say you were redeemed from sin although that's true doesn't say that you were redeemed from drug addiction although that's true doesn't say that you redeemed from bondage and perversion and darkness although all of those things are included but it says one very important thing you are redeemed from an empty worthless life by the blood of Jesus Jesus didn't just die to get you out of hell so many times in the church we've reduced the gospel to this thing that only matters when you die it's pie-in-the-sky when you die listen if the gospel doesn't affect your life here and now it's just a fantasy you were redeemed from an empty way of living that was handed down to you by your ancestors jesus said the Son of man has come to seek and save that which was lost many times when we quote that verse this is what we say the son of man has come to save them that we're lost that's not what it says it says that which was lost because you see Jesus didn't just die so you wouldn't have to go to hell he died so that what was lost can be restored he died to give you a life worth living he died to give you a purpose and that's what brings us to Ephesians chapter 5 verse 16 which is my theme for tonight and this is what it says I'll read it to you one more time redeeming the time for the days are evil now I'm a preacher's kid I grew up in the church and I actually went to a Christian school as well and so in my Christian school we had to memorize a chapter of the Bible every month and then we had to memorize verses and stuff so I mean I've literally memorized hundreds and hundreds of chapters of the Bible and I've known this passage since I was a little kid and when I read the words redeeming the time I won what that was and the way was explained to me by the adults this is what I understood I thought it meant that you don't waste time I thought it meant that that you know instead of just playing video games or getting on your phone and checking Facebook that you could do something productive with your time which I guess is one way to redeem the time but there is something so much better going on here don't you love how the Bible is just layer upon layer of revelation of truth I want you to see this redeeming the time for the days are evil let me talk to you about time for a minute did you know that God created time when he created the worlds when he spoke the world into being even secular physicists and scientists they they tell us that that moment of creation it wasn't just matter but time and space themselves came into being at that moment but time has this quality for us that live in this realm it is a linear progression we can't go backwards in it and we can't jump ahead we have to take it one moment at a time and time for us in this mortal coil is a destroyer in fact this is something that human cultures have noticed for thousands of years that time has a way of ravishing and destroying everything if you look at some of the old deities that they used to worship in in in times long ago these pagan deities I won't even honor them by speaking their names but you'll notice that often the same God that represents time is also known as a destroyer and that is because human beings have understood this that time wreaks havoc on everything that it touches even in the in the scientific world there's a principle called entropy and entropy means that as time goes on everything tends to move toward a state of disorder and decay everything breaks down over time and you don't need to be a scientist to understand this just look in the mirror if time hasn't got you yet don't worry it will I saw when Michael Miller was dancing up here where's Mike I love you Mike wherever yard time destroys everything okay but here's the thing about time it goes contrary to everything in our nature that time should destroy the world because in Ecclesiastes 3:1 it's 3:11 it says that God has put eternity in the hearts of men which means that we are beings that were made to live outside of time outside of the ravishes of time we are eternal beings you are an eternal being look I got it listen that is the first time that's ever happened to me so you are lucky look at the person next to you and tell them you are an eternal being you will live forever and this is why even though there is nothing in this world more natural than death there's something about death that just feels wrong you know what I'm talking about you know that everybody you love is gonna die and you're gonna die but when you see them something inside you says this isn't right why is it it's because you were created to live forever and so there's this instinct in human beings that we want to fight against it we want to fight against decay we want to fight against the ravages of time we want to do something that matters we want to do something that's eternal we want to do something that's valuable we want to do something that has real value in real worth and it drives people crazy especially in our generation because people have wasted their lives they've been absolved of responsibility in their lives they have it's so easy and they're looking for something that matters besides video games and social media and so they resort to all these things they resort to tree-hugging they become environmentalists or animal rights activists not that there's anything wrong with those things but those will not last for eternity they build monuments they create beautiful works of art they build buildings they write books and if you talk to somebody you say why are you giving yourself so much to this inevitably you'll hear them say something like this I want to create something that will outlive me because people have this desire to do something with their lives that will redeem their time but here's the reality all the trees you've hugged they're gonna die all the puppy dogs that have been saved from the shelter's sorry Sarah McLaughlin they're gonna die all the monuments you build will crumble to dust the book that you write will be forgotten you will disappear from this world and no one will care one day there's your new year's inspirational uplifting message but are you ready for the but and this is the most amazing thing that I can tell you tonight listen to me when you are redeemed by the blood of Jesus you are bestowed at that moment with supernatural powers like a superhero from a Marvel movie only it's real when you're born again when Jesus redeems you by his blood he gives you then a supernatural ability do you know what it is you have the ability to redeem everything else that you touch you have the ability to redeem time you have the ability to redeem your energy you have the ability to redeem your money you have the ability to redeem your relationships what you live for can matter it can last it can go into eternity it can't be something that matters hallelujah [Applause] Reinhard used to always say run a bunkie sorry I call him Reinhard he used to say to me when he was a boy he saw his brothers who are very intelligent one of them his father came to me he said what do you want to be when you grow up and the boy said I want to be a doctor he grew up and he became a doctor and the father went to the other son and he said what do you want to be and the son said I want to be a scientist and he grew up and became a scientist but when his dad came to Reinhard and said what do you want to be he said dad I've been thinking I want to do something with my life that matters and I realize that with my mortal hands I can build God's eternal Kingdom and with my mortal lips I can preach the eternal gospel he said dad I want to be a man of God hallelujah [Applause] for you know that you were not redeemed for you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things like silver and gold they were passed down to you by vain tradition from your father's from the worthless way of living passed it down to you by your father's but you were redeemed by the precious blood of Christ as a lamb without blemish and without spot I want to tell you that little story and again this is not my story this is one of reinhardt's stories but will you indulge me and this is a story that Ryan are told hundreds and hundreds of times in Africa was my favorite and it was the story about a very wealthy man he was a the owner of a a mansion and the mansion had ten rooms five rooms on the top and five rooms on the bottom and one day this is a parable okay you understand that okay I don't want you to think I'm trying to pass this off as a true story this is a parable Jesus told parables so we can do so one day there's a knocking at the door and the man answers the door and who's standing there it's Jesus he's shining like the Sun and when the men saw Jesus he said oh Jesus please come into my house Lord I've heard such amazing things about you I've heard how you save people how you forgive people how you wash people how you break their chains how you set them free now you bless every area of their lives you said Lord I need you in my life I want you to be my guest and he said Lord if you'll come into my house if you'll be my guest I'll do something very special for you I'll give you the very best room in my house it's a room upstairs it's the master bedroom it has the biggest walk-in shower it's got the the biggest panoramic view out the window it's the biggest it's the best and it's yours if you want it and of course Jesus is a gentleman so he accepted the offer he said thank you very much he came inside he went upstairs and that man was very happy he thought he had done something wonderful but that night there was another knock at the door and this was not a gentle knocking this was a terrible knocking and when the men heard the knocking on the door he wondered who could it be this time of night but he thought I should probably just look outside and see who it is and so he cracked the door and he looked outside and you know who was standing there it was the devil and when the men saw the devil he said oh no devil I don't want you in my house I've heard about what you do to people how you torment them how you bind them with addictions and with fears and tears he said I don't want you in my house and he tried to shut the door but you know the devil had already put one little toe inside the door and this is always the way the devil works you might think you're getting away with cracking the door open for the devil but all he needs is one toe and soon he's put his knee in the door and then he puts his elbow in the door and then he puts his shoulder in the door and soon the devil had burst his way into that man's house and the man was fighting with him struggling through the night but he was no match for the devil the devil tormented him from the evening to the dawn of the next day and finally the next day as the Sun was rising the devil slipped out the back door and went away and just about that time Jesus came down from upstairs and when the man saw Jesus he suddenly remembered that Jesus was there he said lord I forgot about you you were my guest you stayed in my master bedroom last night he said Lord wait a minute why didn't you help me why didn't you come down you could have defeated the devil and Jesus said well sir he said thank you for giving me this beautiful room in your house but he said sir there are 10 rooms in this house you've given me one the other nine still belong to you the man said well Lord that makes perfect sense he said Lord I'm gonna fix this right away here's what I'm gonna do for you Lord as of this moment I'm going to split my house with you 50/50 five rooms on the top for you five rooms on the bottom for me Jesus is a gentleman he said thank you very much he took the keys and he went upstairs and that night do you know what happened another knock and when the man looked outside do you know who was standing there you guys are gonna have to play along a little better than this it was the devil again and do you know what happened the devil broke in and torment to that man through the night pouring filthy temptations over him and the men struggled with all of his might but he was no match for the devil finally early the next morning as the Sun was rising the devil slipped out the back door and disappeared and just about that time Jesus came down and this time when the men saw Jesus he got angry he said Jesus what is wrong with you I have been more than generous I've given you five of the ten rooms in my house including the very best room and still you do nothing to help me jesus said sir please calm down calm down said yes it's true you gave me five rooms but the other five rooms belong to you oh yes the man said you're right you're right I'm sorry Lord he said this is what I'll do Lord as of this moment I'm going to give you all the rooms in my house except the one where I sleep nine rooms for you one room for me he said you know Lord there's some things in that one room that are very personal they're very private he said Lord I wouldn't want you seeing them I wouldn't want you looking at them he said lord I have things in there that are adult things don't you love the euphemisms we use they're grown-up things he's the Lord you can have all the other rooms nine rooms you can have and I will just keep one room for myself well Jesus is a gentleman he said thank you very much he went upstairs and you know what happened that night another terrible knocking up the door and do you know who was there it was the devil you're doing great you've got a long way to go to be as good as Africans but you're doing good it was the devil again and the devil broke in and tormented that man through the night and finally early the next morning as the Sun was rising the devil slipped out the back door and disappeared just about that time Jesus came down and this time when the men saw Jesus he began to cry he cried like some of you cry at the altar in your church every week dissing Lord don't you love me why won't you help me I've given you so much of my house I've given you nine rooms Jesus put his arm around that man and he said sir he said let me help you yes it's true you've given me nine of the rooms in this house but Sir you own this house the title deed is in your name and if you are the owner of this house you must also be the protector of this house you must also be the provider for this house you are the master and I am your guest the Lord said sir let me give you some advice instead of inviting me to live in your house give your house to me and I will invite you to live in my house and in that moment it was like a veil lifted it was like the light went on like it's gonna go on for some of you right now and suddenly that men realized that he had invited Jesus in but only as a gas Stephen if an honored one that is hard and his life had not truly been given to the Lord he reached into his pocket he pulled out the keys he handed that big clump of keys to Jesus he said Lord here take it it's yours every room is yours every door is yours every bedroom every blade of grass every window everything is yours the good and the bad it all belongs to you Lord Jesus and Jesus is a gentleman he said thank you very much he took the keys he went upstairs that night do you know what happened and when that man heard the knocking on the door his knees began knocking his hands began trembling because he knew what was about to happen cold sweat was coming down his face because he knew he had been through this so many times before he would open that door almost as if he couldn't control it the devil would come in again and the devil would torment him through the night again pouring filthy temptations over him binding him with fears and tears and addictions and compulsions this trembling hand was reaching for that doorknob but suddenly he felt something there's a tap on his shoulder and he turned around and you know who was standing back there it was Jesus he was shining like the Sun he said sir please excuse me I believe this house belongs to me get out of the way I will answer the door [Applause] and Jesus didn't peek out to see who was there oh no Jesus isn't afraid of anybody he threw that door open he said who's there and you know who was there it was the devil but when the devil saw Jesus it was not the person he had been expecting he looked very confused he looked at the number on the house and then he looked at Jesus and something wasn't adding up he looked at the number again Jesus number Jesus number Jesus number Jesus and so very carefully he backed away from the door and he bowed himself to the ground and this is what he said excuse me sir I've come to the wrong house [Applause] let me tell you what's going to happen tonight Jesus redeems you by his blood Jesus paid the price for your sins more than silver more than gold more than dollars more than euro and this is what's gonna happen tonight listen to me tonight you're gonna give him your life not not ten percent not fifty percent not 90 percent but 100 percent he will be your master he will be your Lord he will be your savior and you will never be the same again in Jesus name say Amen hallelujah would you stand all over this place musicians come back please the holy moment of this night has come I'm aware that there are many of you here tonight who you love the Lord you do and you want to serve Him but if you're honest with yourself don't come forward yet please just wait just wait I want to make sure you're coming Jesus image shirt that won't do it for you as great as that is Jesus is not on social media you don't just get to like him he didn't say like me and when he said follow me he didn't mean on the Internet him it lay down your life get on the cross with me that's what he's asking you for tonight with every head bowed and every eye closed this is what I want to ask you if you would say Daniel I am Not sure tonight that I've truly surrendered my life to Jesus and I'm not sure that I've truly been redeemed by his blood and tonight I'm going to get my life right tonight I want to do business with God I want to make him not just my friend but my Lord my master my everything and from this day forward I'm gonna live for him it's a radical call that I'm giving you tonight this is not just raise your hand if you like Jesus it's raise your hand if you are ready to lay down your life if you're ready to stop blocking with one foot in the world in one foot in the kingdom if you're ready to stop playing games if you want to give him everything I want to see your hand tonight and I want to pray for you come on those of you if you if you need to surrender your life to Jesus come forward coming forward you've tried everything you tried medications you've tried counselors you tried discipline you've done everything you knew how to do and still you've fallen short there's one thing you haven't done yet you haven't surrendered it's time to surrender thank you Jesus I tell you I sense the presence of the Lord here in such a wonderful way I told you the Holy Spirit lingers at the foot of the cross for you were not redeemed by corruptible things like silver and gold but you were redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus as of a lamb without blemish in with that spot here's what's going to happen for those of you that are coming forward I'm gonna need you now in a prayer we call this the prayer of salvation but I'm gonna call it tonight the prayer of surrender because here's the reality Jesus already shed his blood it's not as though when you come here he sheds his blood for you again the work is already done the offer has already been made but now it's your job to come by faith to lay down everything in your hands and to receive that glorious salvation and so I'm gonna lead you in this prayer now but I want you to understand that those of you that are coming please continue to come there's plenty of room here in the front do me a favor and those of you that are coming forward go to the sides to make room for those that are coming don't stop in the aisles because we need all the room that we can get this prayer that I'm gonna lead you in now is not some religious liturgy it's not some formality in fact it's not coming out of a prayer book it's not even coming out of the Bible itself I'm literally going to make it up off the top of my head as we go and I'm gonna ask you to pray with me and maybe you say Daniel why should I pray a prayer that you made up and here's why it's because it's not the words that save you Jesus doesn't speak English he doesn't speak Spanish he doesn't speak Portuguese or whatever language it is that's your mother tongue he speaks one language it's called heart he's listening to your heart he's listening to the cry of your heart and when it says that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved it's talking about the cry of your heart and so tonight all that I'm doing is I'm I'm trying to help you to put language to what ought to already be the cry of your heart but don't just repeat empty words from an empty head pray this out of the depths of your heart and you have God's promise that he will hear and he will answer before I pray I just have this nagging feeling in my heart that there's some of you that need to be down here that aren't and especially I keep hearing this this word prodigal prodigal prodigal prodigal there are prodigal children some of you that are that are listening to me right now maybe you're watching online maybe you're sitting in your living room maybe you're driving down the road listening to this don't get in a wreck but listen when Jesus calls you do not take that lightly some of you are feeling even now like a palpitation in your heart this the the temperature of your body is going up you're like what's happening that's the Lord speaking to you and don't take that for granted that does not happen every day that's why it says in Hebrews today if you hear his voice do not harden your heart because my friend you may never hear that voice again if he's calling to you now's the moment so maybe you say Daniel you don't understand if you knew the things that were in that bedroom if you knew those things that you're asking me to surrender you would say I'm a hopeless case but my friend listen Jesus said he didn't come for the righteous but he came to call sinners to repentance and tonight if you will humble yourself the Bible says he gives grace to the humble but he resists the proud so here's what's gonna happen right now prodigal son prodigal daughter you've been away from God tonight's your night now is your time how many of you know that verse that says today is the day of salvation how many of you know that won't trick question that's not in the Bible go look at it it doesn't say today is the day of salvation it says now now now is the day of salvation because you can't wait for one more day you don't have 24 hours your next breath is not promised to you all you have is this moment so give it to Jesus let him save you and let him touch you here's what we're gonna do right now in just a moment I'm gonna ask every person in this room to turn to the one on their right they're left and you're gonna ask this question do you need to be down at that altar and if they say yes you're gonna take them by the hand and bring them do it right now turn to the one that you're riding your left I don't care if they're the nicest looking person here I don't care if they're a pastor I don't care if they sit on the worship team ask them do you need to be at that altar and if they say yes take them by the hand and bring them and come stand here before the Lord come on let's put our hands together for those that are coming you're so welcome you're so welcome [Applause] come on thank you Jesus I tell you for every one of you that are coming down right now every one of you that are here in the front this whole conference was worth it just for you for every one of you because I believe with all my heart that's what's gonna happen over the next two minutes is that the Holy Spirit is gonna come to fill you and to live inside of you and you're gonna be transformed from the inside out you are going to be listen to me immersed into God things that characterized the last two or three years of evangelist Ryan R Balki's ministry was that he wanted to pass the torch of evangelism to the next generation and he wanted to see a whole generation Holy Spirit men and women of God rise up we were preaching in Germany this is probably five or six years ago and we were in a conference together in the morning evangelist Bach he said to me I had a dream last night and he said in this dream he said it was so vivid that I wasn't sure if I was asleep or awake in fact he said I'm not sure if it was a vision or a dream he said all I know is that I was projected into the future about 30 years into the future and he said I heard a conversation taking place I overheard it and there were two people talking to one another about the things that were happening in the world at that time but there was one thing that they talked about that was a particular interest to Reinhard that morning he said I heard one of the voices asked the other one whatever became of the evangelist named Reinhardt Bonnke and this was the reply Orion our bunkie he was just the forerunner of a whole generation of holy spirit evangelists and then he woke up I feel in my heart but even the timing of his passing it's very significant prophetically we are about to enter into a new decade where I believe we will see the greatest things the kingdom we've ever seen before and I believe that right now there is a moment where you can reach out by faith and take that burning torch of the gospel years ago when I was just starting out in ministry I I was preaching in a city very close to where my grandfather was pastoring at the time and he came and listened to me preach and afterwards we went out to eat and he said he said I want to tell you a story he said the way that the Holy Spirit came into our family he told me the story of my great great grandfather who was filled with the Holy Spirit and one of any simple Macpherson's meetings and I I won't tell you the whole story but I'll tell you this he said Daniel when you're home when your great-grandfather was filled with the Holy Spirit he saw vision and this is what he saw an ocean of humanity stretching to the horizon and he said their hands were lifted and they were crying out and they were saying bread bread give us bread and they were sinking into the ground as they cried and he said your great-grandfather believed when he got up off of the ground that this calling was to reach those multitudes of people but he said Daniel he never saw them in the real world he only saw them in a vision but then my grandfather said this to me he said Daniel in God's economy that call transcends generations and if you will reach out in faith and take hold of it that calling will fall upon your life here's why I'm telling you this I believe that was the last conversation I ever had with my grandfather he went to be with the Lord a few days later and I believe that that word that he gave me was prophetic and not just prophetic for me but prophetic for our generation that we have an open window that we can reap or we have not sown and we can see a harvest coming in that we did not work to bring in the moment is now and God is looking for a people upon whom he can put his spirit a people who will go they will preach they will give they will lay down their lives and God will use us and connect us with a cry of former generations that same burning torch that men like Reinhardt Bonnke and Billy Graham and TL Osborn so many before us carried it must not drop to the ground we must pick it up and we must run with it in Jesus name I'm gonna play this video for you this is Reinhardt and he's speaking to you I want you to take this and let it touch you in Jesus name [Applause] scoffers say why does the African harvest not happen in Europe or America I say why not in Europe and America the ground is never too hardened Africa for two centuries did not yield a harvest though the noblest of God's servants sold deceit there the Dark Continent became the graveyard of Christian workers more difficult than America or Europe today but in our time we have seen the tide shift as it has also shifted in South America and the Orient if the type can shift there it can also rise like a great tsunami to overflow America and Europe once again I believe it dare to believe it with me
