Let's Play All of Pokemon Black 2 & White 2: A Nuzlocke

oh it's been so long since I've last played this you know for round two in my opinion this is the best Pokemon game ever made and I'm so excited [Music] Pokemon black two let's go welcome to the world and he barely triumphed it's time for the story of success and the name in scheme this time is that of Triumph your name is success there's there's no pressure on this nuzlocker it's like oh you're gonna just win instantly right tell me a little about your friend the older boy who lives nearby do you mind telling me his name we only get seven characters mediocrity does not okay I I think I I think I see what the answer is gonna be though average and I get that right yeah it's more or less sums a month really hope you learn what is important to you as a result of your travels that's right you prefer new people and Pokemon and grow as a person most important goal of your journey is go visit the world of Pokemon you know press Juniper she's a famous Pokemon researcher and she's just an you a Pokemon really average assist so pretty yeah don't you agree my name is Bianca and the assistant of the Pokemon professor Professor Juniper or Bianca you might remember was your rival from the first game uh she now just works for Juniper by the way I'm looking for someone do you know a person named success that's me very full of myself your success I like to think this is like a moment of quite heavy character development uh because there's no contest as to which starter we're picking it's absolutely gotta be Oshawott he's the best one by far considering how we started Pokemon Black and White uh Oshawott is actually grown on me so damn much and I love him there's no contest it's Oshawa so this is what this is gonna be correct correct it's like I'm answering her questions you got it right you got your Pokemon so I'll give you this too a pokedex okay so high-tech device that automatically records Pokemon you encounter Professor Juniper wants to carry this Pokedex visit a lot of places and meet all the Pokemon in the Anova region that's your partner huh that's great my sister already said so but take really really good care of your Pokemon got it what's that you're holding there Pokedex please give me a pokedex too I want to get stronger average wants to be at least above average who are you again I'm African I'm okay at best his rival is kind of mid unfortunately so the name is appropriate something that's not mid though is his Battle Theme it's actually a buff let's get him correct feed on into him [Music] and there we go you get it you got a freebie to start off with I lost it's different than battle wild Pokemon whatever I'm just happy to know your trainer I can count on well I'm heading off first get stronger uh and that is the entire personality trait of our rival average get used to it gang I'll show I'll show you how to catch a Pokemon starting now so this obviously does not count for our encounter this is a catcher tutorial so this this isn't part of it there are some huge differences in this game compared to black and white though that are actually worth talking about uh Pokemon Black and White was quite notable for only having new Pokemon available a retcon that it is now a mix of Pokemon again it is over 300 available some early ones from the offset are Mareep and Riolu are available continue straight this way to get the flock of sea temp I now meet lots of Pokemon and catch a lot of them okay we're loose that's it game set up go go so welcome to the Pokemon Black and White to nuzla let's go over our Nuzlocke rules if a Pokemon faints it's dead forever I'm only allowed to catch the first Pokemon on each route and use it on my team a dupe's claws is in effect so if the encounter I get is a Pokemon I have previously caught or from that Evolution family I am allowed to catch another Pokemon on that route we are playing our battles in set mode and we are not allowed to use items in battle uh shout out to Yan there how's it going man on potential Nuzlocke review hope you're well there is another trainer's Pokemon that you catch in this game we will explain this later with the memory link I'm not allowed to use that trainer's Pokemon because I can't nickname them and they're not my Pokemon but I'm allowed catch them as an exception to any catch Clauses it's purely for collection it's not not to use in battle if I find a shiny you're allowed catch it regardless it's a shiny alright let's get our first encounter there we go it's the Purl line I'll take it [Music] I'll take it come on cat yeah gonna call it data from black and white into black and white too it unlocks special cutscenes and tells you things about the aftermath of Pokemon Black and White not yet the world hasn't changed yet time for your Pokemon will be when I befriend the Unova Region's Legendary Dragon type Pokemon to pass the champion and become the hero oh no this is after so this isn't after black and white this is after the battle in charge Stone cave specifically this is between events we'll separate Pokemon and people and black and white will be clearly distinct only then will Pokemon become perfect beans and why why do those Pokemon seem so sad to leave me failure here it is is it because of that trainer that my heart wavers now the words the Pokemon in Akuma town really true does that mean failure is an ideal trainer I'll change the world to that end I must fight to the finish with failure it sounds like he's just really struggling and being really hard on himself so the world is kind of full of little cutscenes like this thanks to the memory link and we will unlock them as we go along we're really hoping for a particular encounter in the ranch if we're lucky here we can get an encounter that will block some of the other potential ones in the ranch and what we're hoping for [ __ ] face is alive uh not for long don't get your hopes up you can't call every Pat rat in the wild YouTube face see the opposite of YouTube these would be great ass uh people haven't seen the black and white one run right like because I mean we're already like talking about I would recommend watching that at some point joyous Sun Curry oh that's that's uh that's as bad as it gets I think sunflower is like one of the weakest Pokemon ever made I still need to try and catch it but no you're so pathetic and weak I can't weaken you okay Ranch summer okay we're going through the encounter there's some really good stuff here honestly I think if most people were doing like a super competitive nose lock of this game if you didn't get something good here you'd probably just reset the entire game oh it's a lily Puff Sun Kern was a bad Omen the odds were against us ryola's only like a five percent chance of actually spawning here Mareep is 10 unfortunately I believe those Pokemon only appear on this group so we now no longer get them uh we're gonna call this guy Excellence oh nice you come here to toughen up all right let's see how much stronger you've become come at me foreign 's got no chill like we're just going uh but he's actually a little more dangerous now oh no he has a super effective attack we're area see they're just kind of wandering it's very upsetting but we didn't get it like you just you got to play a warrior lands just pick one up like no one will know for her dear I cry you found it retreat for now don't even get to battle them yet their deer is safe awfully combat this Pokemon might have been gone for good take better care of it he's so aggro are you gonna help train that person sir look at that trainer looks really tough that's right this training may be tough but you can learn from losing as well importantly haven't I been telling you to just enjoy Pokemon battles so thing is to make sure you can use the C here here's a cool device for communication such as infrared connection or Nintendo Wi-Fi connection it's always a bit alarming like you know they still have this like massive warrants like do not use it on the plane everyone will perish ontrolink stuff is locked behind the sea here as before you can simply access it via here the entry link lets you do a lot more instead of actually having to specifically interact with players this time you actually have your own missions that you can do to level up your entry link and get more powers so they spruced it up significantly you don't need friends anymore to do this three minutes get five berries I believe you get to keep all these items that you get as well so you get fun fast Mission points for this but you also get a lot of valuable hold items like look and look how many there are like it's not even hard it's literally just free items by doing this and you get special powers you can use time's up I believe your scores pulled together if you're all working together so you can get even more stuff so receive past power so you get to pick the one that you want to unlock increase the chance of finding rustling grass and dust clouds a little it's a XP gained in battle which is huge and just restore HP there's a huge variety of powers that you can just straight up get now I'm not going to take the XP power just so just so we don't throw the game's balance in any chapter do that I might pick it up later if we're at a spot where we just need to grind a little the forest is still here for this forests to explain again from black and white uh if you played the Pokemon dream I believe it was you could find Pokemon in the Pokemon browser game and transfer them here a lot of these Pokemon are distinct because they would have their special abilities it was the big reason you would do it yeah that's the answer link so we can we can use that whenever we can take on some missions we can get some items out of it it's really handy honestly oh here's the he's the dark tall grass it's wherever someone has two Pokemon Papa at the same time plus the Pokemon that hiding dark grass is slightly stronger careful if you walk through on the challenge the next stream is the Burbank gym he's might help even more berries we have actually quite a stockpile of these already okay this is a game is ever done this is your script so you should move a dire type Pokemon as weaker and use a flying move you get different outcomes if say your Pokemon actually does while recording so what we're gonna do is we're gonna go wildly Off Script in a mo you have to you get to choose your lines as well until I'm scared that last line that was pretty Dreadful the script calls for me to end it in one scene I'm not going to I'm going to use Force bomb I just died so the thing is it looks like I've absolutely failed you can still release this movie it lets you do this so yes we're going to release it so this is where the script start to go a bit downhill ready to be finished I'm scared everyone in the audience is already asleep biolu just dies like what's with all these movies of people failing right off the bat construction actually finished here and there's now just like actual apartment blocks and stuff like that that's actually been constructed in the desert in White 2 they actually uncover ancient runes and construction is canceled and there's a lot of abandoned construction sites we got that is actually great oh my God we have a working fire type that's amazing okay we really like to test my theory by battling with you you find this acceptable just know again no I I kind of want to battle him here we go against Mr scientist he's got an iPad too that's how you know he means business we can just fire punch away here it's not much fear oh there's actually a little bit of fear yeah because his magnetism becomes like one of his signature Pokemon I think that's actually gonna have sturdy it's a little worrying just because of how much special the attack it actually gets glad that we can't actually guarantee one shot kill it means uh yeah it's gonna be a little worrying as it comes up hustle accuracy is coming into effect we really need to evolve this thing as fast as we can oh the burn will do it there we go we have the leftovers tune in there so we I I just popped it on for that bit shift damage or chip heal we have the XP shirt uh on Miracle the drillbur just because we want to get him up to I believe level 33 is the magic level where he learns earthquake and you evolve him uh and that's the game so frustrating if only we could talk to Pokemon in order to bring out the power but there's no way a person like that could ever exist well in success I hope to see you again sometime to black and white there oh this is actually really great for Dara Market this is gonna actually counteract his hustle isn't it actually important I didn't get to increase the accuracy because Hustle is already lowering it yeah that that's a really big pickup right there welcome to Joint Avenue yeah as you see so it's just an Avenue at this point for my madness lovely to introduce myself I'm the owner of joint Avenue he dreams to go around the world building avenues that bustle with lots of people problem is I have no one I can trust to manage the Avenue something just struck me you seems to be a trainer traveling around aren't you you naturally meet people from all over this region don't you I know it seems sudden but you manage the Avenue for me sure will be your favorite phrase that you use to greet everyone the words you use about the about to enter maybe sent to other players he's consider them carefully before you register them wait forever that's a great line what would you say uh when something truly moves your heart you want to choose a certain Universal a phrase that anyone will understand you know I think everyone understands screaming basically buy every single one of those expensive TMs in the entire game believe that is the idea of this but you just never have to really worry about money again after doing this okay we'll keep it to the next one you fight a boss at the end of every level if you get all 10 levels here you fight alder's grandson who has like a lahios and a Volcarona and like wild YouTubes team if you beat him depending on your version Alder gives you either a shiny Gibble or a shiny Dratini which is really cool as far as the reward goes if you change the city the battle facility resets so you can actually grind both of them out in one copy of the game giving you a total of 20 areas to actually complete here's how the area changes this is white forest instead you have the white tree Hollow see but yeah it's a massive post-game battle facility that you can just kind of play to your heart's content the lunar Wings started shining do you want to hold it up high do you remember the girl in the ghost house who was hinting at here before we picked this up a while ago and this is how you encounter Cresselia with another side quest is ghost girl you would encounter in black and white on the bridge at this time instead it's just a bit different you get the lunar Wing from her you find her in the haunted house yeah most of the risk of crit because I have to constantly weaken it YouTube but it loves rain team in summer he has a fire like a sunny day team and autumni has a sandstorm team don't ask and in Winter he has a hail team awesome is the season of sand basically so because the season's house at the summer he's using a Sun team and has a drought nine tails at level 82 to lead so the sun's just here for the rest of the battle these are all just gonna hurt something fierce how the seasons work as they cycle once a month so you don't have to wait until like you know three months of the year for it to be winter or something that would be that'd be a bit much the hammer home the idea of this being a wetter team by the way uh this shiftry actually knows sunny day and has a heat rock of all things so even if you change the weather the idea is n will actually change it back it also has chlorophyll as his ability so it's super fast I think if we did if we did the Nuzlocke post game as well I think it would have like taken us months because we would have had to grind through allows you to challenge every single gym leader and every single Champion across every single Pokemon game in the franchise up until this point except Koga No Coke is here isn't he oh no oh Janine replaces them he's the only one who didn't make it back the moment of silence for Koga when you start off in this facility you only have access to the Unova leaders if you beat Unova leaders you unlock the Kanto leaders if you beat the cantiles you unlock the Johto leaders and you unlock the home leader Cohen beat ho and you're not sinner beat sinner you unlock world leaders world leaders is a combination of all of those previous types of leaders all together one pile if you beat that 10 times you unlock champions and that's why we're doing it on this copy of the game because I want to showcase use a champion level cup all of these leaders uh feature completely remixed battle music as well except the case of Alder which is really unfortunate we're getting him first but you do get to you do actually get his Champion theme from the original black and white which we noticeably did not get earlier this is actually going to be quite hard I think because we're all set to level 50 here although with that said I can just close combat yeah especially if my Lucario is just gonna be dead off the bat Jesus oh my God okay that's not the best start that little animation effect is what you
