LEARNING HOW TO DO MAGIC FINGER WAVES (it was a flop)

the rumors are true I love finger waves I mean there's really no easy way of coming out and saying that but not a lot of people talk about it and I wanted to just be a public figure that talks about these kinds of things so I do I love finger waves and uh-huh well I feel so good coming out um finally sorry so what's up beautiful thank you for being here we are gonna be playing with finger weights today we're gonna be doing some really majestic relaxing to watch types of finger waves that doesn't really make sense to you but I blame you there's this guy named Mustafa on Instagram and I have been following him for years this is sort of the deal this is what he's doing it's really cool really really really cool and really just [ __ ] a lot and ever since I started following him I'm like I need to try and do that I want to try and make those beautiful flawless curling iron fairways on this many claiming and she is ready for more activities today I think I'm ready girl she's ready so let me grab Miss Minnie Queen let's get it started let's try and copy Mustafa's finger wave tutorials and just see how good I really am at styling hair I mean and I want to brag but think arrays are kind of my thing so let's do it [Music] so she taught bangs and most of most all actually all of Mustafa's models do not have bangs but that's okay we're gonna cover them up with her own hair we're gonna do a nice side part and we're gonna cover those babies up you're not gonna know she had bangs anymore cool so why don't we just jump into it look at some of his work and just try and copy kind of what he's doing and how he goes about things all right so because Missy mess over here um kind of has like crappy hair after the last video I do with hair which was following DIY haircut tutorials we want to see that go find it have fun we're gonna be adding my second where are we doing my favorite second segment thing which is adding extensions I have plenty of blood extensions and it's gonna give her a nice like highlight look and she's gonna have a lot a lot of hair to work with we're gonna be looking at one of Mustafa's tutorials that includes extensions though he is using tape and extensions I am NOT again maybe you don't deserve taping extensions yet you have to earn your place here okay and then maybe next time you'll get tapings all right I walked into my room last night and she was like sitting here and I was like like her head turned she's like alright let's watch the video alright so keep working for the bottom up BAM putting a curl in clearly duh another curl another crawl another crawl in our three sections on each row okay okay so clearly he's curling like the one method way he's not actually doing curl even more waves which seems like Oh a dub right here doing a waving thing but no I actually do prefer to do like actual rock run banana cause when doing like a wave situation it works better for me I don't know let's section out this bottom part so we section note that this area here now we're gonna go like this with the hairspray like he did because I'm watching and I know these things then we're gonna take our comb and we're gonna just do a little teasing just a little lunch we're some tea the top so now we're taking our double clicked one and that is that you can put an extension in a little you might like that it makes pretty underneath from the top I'm not to three sections here and he again was wrapping around all right so we're gonna now release the curl and we're not gonna open it up yet alright who rabble's it very nicely like this we're gonna clean it in place oh it's my first move thought with girls I feel like a winner let's move on this is kinda boring so we're gonna do a lot of fast forwarding here and we're just going to show you the fun parts because I really start to show you guys like the formation of the finger wave and like had Mustafa does it it'll be so fun I can't wait [Music] that's two rows down and let's keep going [Music] no I'm so stoked about this I artis my vision like coming to life and all I've done was set a few curls oh hello yeah I'm here I'm ready for the reveal at the end okay bye all right can I go home now this is my home okay so that was such a dumb joke okay so this is my set and she has bangs up here you guys so I'm working with what I've got like oh my god I almost died doing this uh-huh literally all died literally this is pounds of hair you guys just wait just wait till these satisfying waves come out oh my god and obviously you're welcome clang we're about to do Moustafa waves and my life is about to be complete and your head watch it so when I just watch me stop this video one more time let's speed it up to the part where he shows us how to brush the waves out because that my friends is the real Mustapha trick all right so yeah he's set up you said all the curls in place minds looking similar to hit when he pulls the way back out and then who does this back comb 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 times hair sprays it and then kind of spread them apart are you guys ready this is the big time this is the big leagues this is the big time barking good so we take the curl out he pulls on it a little bit ding ding boom all right and then he teases it like this oh no what hap where's my boss I would meet him so I think you just does like a really light teasing moment and then he does like a like a waving moment oh come a bee mufasa is shaking I guess I guess that's that's a wave again let's get a little horse pride cuz when you're in doubt you guys you just grab the hairspray that's what your life it should be like all you need in life is your hairspray and that's it he like separates the hair like a waterfall magician alright that's looking quite elegant for me I'm gonna continue the second one goes so we did another like a little donkey doing and then he did a little like cheesington and then he did a little like separation activity yo why is my becoming like all gross when I do that though like it almost looks like he didn't tease it but he did and that is why Mufasa is the wave magician but listen how about to come for him okay one wave at a time all right that's why I lead my life one wave at a time and bam it's not quite exactly like how I want it to be looking we're gonna keep on going and just see if I can do it somehow I think the second rows gonna look better this much better and I'm ready for it boom we got the way we got the way it's eve confidence for added confidence remember the coffee yes ah but we have to the Mustafa Mufasa what is his name I can't remember now teasing thing this is where I keep going wrong is the seizing thing that he does because whenever I tease it just like ends up looking like worse like now I don't know where the curl pattern is I need to watch us again Artie he did the curls the curls pretty coldness get what am I doing wrong I did it like you oh he doesn't like uh-uh there's some kind of magic going on what he's doing I don't believe it I don't believe it oh wait we're getting a good wave here we're gonna go wait in ado please go away look at then he goes like this he goes and he goes oh I got no good yup listen I was just getting warmed up clearly like now it's working that sounded like I was speaking a different language boom that's I'm gonna stop a wave and we just gotta keep we're gonna just keep going you know see see see look at that that's a wave alright next boom you won't wave of your shoulder boom I gave it to you there's many boom could it be any easier bro I thought it was looking guys it doesn't look that good it's gonna be okay it's gonna I swear it's gonna get better spreading I think that the technique is to not tamper with the wave too much end up getting like freeze and stuff and then BAM that's my favorite one of all I named her Chelsea and she is looking cute as ever I'll be here for about 20 more hours doing this today cancel my plans tonight I wondered like the spreading thing like he does when he goes like this who's making progress Brad is oh my god it's like pretty but I don't think it looks like much like his quitting another comparison here we're working that we're working on it but I do think that the colors are so pretty but damn she has literally pounds of color I've colored hair in her head right now and I am dying a little bit's but we're making our wake up town not even downtown today we're making our way uptown Jenna and then and then I'm at this point I don't want to do this anymore so I still have yet to develop new Moustafa hair spreading this method but you know what that is what makes me stop them to stuff up and I am NOT Mustapha look it kind of good it's really good this is like so the opposite of what how I like to style hair which is the reason why this is a very difficult for me right now I like grungy hair I would probably never do this as somebody unless they pay me a lot of money and I might think about it you know I'm saying keeping real over here but naturally mm-hmm say my thing we all like different things we all can be different people we can all wear our hair differently you know am i doing it like he is no what am i wave god yes but not this way okay well look I just impressed at how light well these extensions are blinding what bangs I don't see them it's like a hair sculpture man I'm gonna try and form a wave with her things they actually don't look bad they're kind of like in there I don't know man there's also a hairspray covering every inch of my room and I love it I can't wait to have my knees just to clean that up [Music] so this is her this is the result um oh yeah that's extensions right there don't worry about that this is her and yeah this is the size comparison look how big her hair is and there's a oh I was let's start off with the UM the good if there is any I'm very impressed with the fact that I made her bangs kind of blend in to the wave in the front kind of fun I had an appreciation for Mustafa but now I have even more of appreciation for him took forever it doesn't even look that good I really try but again I don't do stuff like this this is not my style at all but I'm glad I stepped on my comfort zone it did again teach me some new stuff probably wouldn't be doing this again anytime soon actually I had to say is that if you really want to do this make sure you take even sections like make sure every section is completely the same size she's looked that bad she's kind of cute she's kind of fun she's kind of flirty listen it's a look if you're into this kind of thing go for it maybe learn something new today in this video about waving hair and if you took nothing away from it that is totally great too cuz I feel like I just do things like this to add retain you oh wait yeah I do that's that is why I do these things oh man hope you weren't too change today so oh she actually looks had a cute now that I'm like what she's like sitting here yeah I'm just impressed
