Last to stop freestyling wins $1,000: Finding the best freestyler in Rocket League

hey gamer a freestyler is someone who doesn't often find themselves in the ranked jungle of rocket league a freestyler is someone who finds a joy in the clip-hitting aspect of rocket league similar to trick shotting in other games so they don't even care about winning the game all they really care about is hitting the most nutty shot possible and today i've gotten five of those individuals who've proven they're some of the best in the world at freestyling and in the video i'm gonna put them through the ultimate test to find the best rocket league freestyler in the competition we have nitro faith [Music] jaxy [Music] crypto [Music] mactuff [Music] and finally osm [Music] these five freestylers are competing to win a one thousand dollar cash prize and here's how the challenge will work basically i'm gonna tell them a shot to go for and if they miss it they're out pretty simple and the shots start off easy and get more difficult throughout the video and i put the shots in three different categories easy where they get one try to do the shot intermediate or they get two tries to complete a shot and difficult where they get three tries to complete their shot and in case this challenge goes super long i have an expert category that'll be guaranteed to knock some people out so no matter what happens people are going to get knocked out and the last person standing wins 1 000 and obviously with this prize pool there's going to be even more pressure and the reason i'm able to continue putting up prize pools like this for my videos are from video sponsors like today's is possible to mess up there you go jack see you are up next you just have to air dribble it the ball cannot bounce nice very similar to faith with the uh the spins in there okay next up crypto okay lots of directional arrow i see that all right we're good we're going to clean you got it off you are up next [Music] oh that is some juicy control right there okay an osm please don't mess with someone no bro don't give me that pressure hi sorry okay only player to not spin at all all the players were able to complete the first shot so shot number two is a double touch next up is faith double touch however you want to do it make it as easy as possible for yourself some sort of double touch good work that's actually pretty nerve-wracking because it's like you don't really go for that too often you know that's like a comp shot i'm not used to going for like double touches and stuff i'm more of like the reset guy so i was most scared of this one next up jaxy i'm scared nice are you so silent bro you're so silent all right next up crypto oh we got a flipper we got a flipper hey okay it's about so the freestyle community is not proud of you but you yeah i don't care okay next up is oh my i feel like i'm gonna miss oh oh my god you've been like towards it you made it harder for yourself bro all you had to do is just not be sort of an easier but you got it you got it okay uh osm you are next give me a break my back was a bit heavy uh here comes excuses okay nice again everyone was able to complete this one so shot number three the final shot in the easy category is a ceiling shot and the ball cannot bounce okay next up is a ceiling shot from faith and this one it cannot bounce oh my god i even got nervous for you man oh my god uh next up is jaxy nice see that's what i would have done to make it a little easier a little higher crypto you're up next ceiling shot no bounce okay no pressure oh it happened oh yeah the setup was a little rushed a little too it's a crypto you were the first one out in the challenge you unfortunately didn't mess up your ceiling shot hit the roof what do you what do you have to say ah i don't have much to say i'm a bit i wouldn't either bro i wouldn't need it yeah mom make it off you're up next ceiling shot no bounce a bit of a lower setup okay oh my god no win this is supposed to be an easy shot but mccaff you are out so the remaining players for the intermediate challenges are faith jaxy and just lsm i retire from rocket league see you guys unfortunately for the ceiling shot maktoff and crypto both ended up missing their ceiling shot cryptos hit the ceiling too early and maktuff got a little too fancy with it so the three remaining players coming to the intermediate round are faith jaxy and osm like i said for the intro in this round each player is allowed two tries to complete their shot with the first one being a flip reset flip reset no bounce faith you're at first good luck reset the air dribble my car started going to the side my heart just dropped bro made that so hard for yourself oh jaxy you are up next memory nice that was very clean now osm you are next oh dude not again okay oh my goodness did you get the reset did i wait i mean uh i don't know i don't know i'll just i'll let you go again hello lag bro osm you are out from round two any words any final words you have to say i messed up uh that was awful but it looks harder than a than you might be yeah especially with the the money on the line i totally understand pressure man the heart gets you beating unfortunately for osm he was unable to get a clean flip reset so the two remaining players are faith and jaxy and for the next shot they can choose between a clean musty flick or a breezy flick okay so now you guys are the only two left faith what are you breakdancing over here bro yeah i'm warming up looking clean with it bro wow oh man i mean that was wow we got to get mr clean in here bro jaxy you are next musty flick or breezy flick nice you guys are like like literally 10 out of 10 ace in these shots with both players getting pretty much perfect shots the final intermediate shot is a turtle air dribble and the ball cannot bounce good work jaxy you are up next with the same shot and any reason you switched the orange team anything you have to say about that uh more luck makes sense good work again no one messed up so we're on to the difficult category where they get three tries each and the first shot is a musty flick double touch a very hard shot to get consistent oh no oh okay wait i would say it counts i mean it's a double touch uh i mean i don't feel like they didn't technically didn't even hit the ground i feel like you got kind of lucky with that bounce i'm counting it i'm counting it so you have to match that shot you have three tries jaxy for your musty flick double touch almost almost you have two more try so you're opting to go for a flip reset beforehand which i personally would not do but you are a better freestyler than i am both faith and jaxy truly showing how mechanical they are they both got the musty quick double touch and now we are on to the double reset and faith europe wow you made that look so easy what the heck oh it's getting nerve-wracking now yeah shots are getting getting pretty hard one two no bounce wow honestly double resets for me are like extremely hard but for them it almost seemed too easy like maybe i should have put that in a different category or something but regardless they both got it and we're on to another difficult shot the pancake make it a clean juicy pancake with syrup oh but it did bounce oh so close and if you miss this this doesn't guarantee you that you're out but you have to rely on uh jaxy to mess up goodbye no unfortunate unfortunate like i said you're not guaranteed to be out but jaxy if you do get the pancake here then you are the world champion a freestyling kind of the world champion freestyling a directional
