to look at it from the point of a clean mind my personal conviction is that once you get born again the first thing you should aim for is a transformation of your mind before you even take on serving in the church or doing anything well when you get born again you serve the lord because you should immediately share the good news of jesus christ with other people like the woman from samaria did immediately jesus told her who she was and she had a conviction and transformation of her heart she ran to her village to bring people however two men we want to quickly start serving in the church and you see when you do when you are not when you have a transformed mind you will bring a worldly mindset to do a spiritual service it's like okay i live in the united kingdom i've lived there 37 years sometimes you see a person who comes raw from one nation and gets into the united kingdom and wants to do things and they don't even see how they are super imposing where they are coming from on the way we do things in the united kingdom now that's even small compared to these two kingdoms the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light so you have too many people whose mindset have not changed and they want to serve in the church they want to do things they don't realize that christianity is not a religion because in religion you you can put on forms they can tell you cover your hair wear a hat don't wear trousers those are forms those are not transformation a trans formation takes place in your heart and that's why we're talking about the transformation of the mind so i can wear the hat and my mind is not transformed because you see before i came to christ my heart was conformed to the shape of where i found myself my mind was conformed here is a communion wine it is conformed to this container because it is liquid that's one thing about liquid liquid takes the shape of where you pour it if i take this uh communion wine and pour it in a flat plate it will take the shape of a flat plate it conforms but when you get to be born again you are taught to be transformed so you take on the form bigger than and better than the form of this world in romans chapter 12 verse 1 and 2 it says i beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of god that you present your body is a living sacrifice holy acceptable to god which is your reasonable service and i want you to take note of something tonight and be not conformed to this world you see that statement is very loaded and i just pray that even in kicc we don't make the mistake that what we tell you be not conformed to this one yet we try to make you conform to how kicc is how many churches they confirm you moment you show up and they see what they don't like they want to press you to look like you should be they want you and you look for scripture to use so sometimes you have people who conform to that church but they are not transformed their mind is not transformed it's about being trans formed by the renewing of your mind not your clothes we have put the efficacy where it should not be we put the embassy where it should not be it sees the renewing of your mind not the renewing of your clothes style and when your mind is renewed the bible says in the last days god will write his law on our heart not on the tablet like he gave moses so for example a combine of my responsibility and my taste have chosen how i would do my hair i mean he imagined one sunday morning if i show up in krcc with four color in my head in the first place my first my first prosecutor would be my wife transformed you are more strong on doing good than feeling good it's great to feel good but when you have a transformed mind doing good is more desirous to you than feeling good there too many people in church who just are flying on the feel good factor and they don't realize that when you are transformed yeah it's great to feel good but your greatest aspiration and desire is to to do good praise god when you are transformed there is a trust in the complete walk of christ a transformed person relies totally on the complete work of christ when you're transformed you see all of life with an eternal perspective i don't know about you and i'm sure you saw how i ministered on sunday during the igoc i took the same news all of us are hearing and i tied it into eternal consequences i tied it into the coming of christ i tied it into the events that are happening around us i tied it into where it fits in the eschatological agenda of god where are we when is the rapture what would happen when will we be taken home how will it happen when you have transformed if you hear news of earthquake this and that you look at it with a different eye people who are not born again some of them they don't look at things with that kind of eye sometimes they are even busy blaming god but you look at you with okay these are the things jesus said will happen before he's coming transformation one can see but truth is what is backed by god in this context so what is the result of a transformed mind you must know that you are somebody in god when your mind is transformed by the word the word in you will reveal the strength you have when you face crisis a transformed mind and an untransformed mind their attitude towards crisis is not the same it is not at all the same the scripture says good understanding gives favor so you get ready for favor and wisdom when you have a transformed mind when you have a transformer you desire the wisdom of god you desire the word of god ecclesiastes 7 verse 12 for wisdom is a defense money is a defense but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom give that life to them that have it so you have two defenses wisdom can defend you money can defend you but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to them that have it for once you have wisdom wisdom which means with dumb wise action can help you to get money wise action wealth does not come by hard work it comes by wise action proverbs 24 3 and 4 true wisdom is a house built by understanding it increases and by keeping abreast of the facts it goes from one level to the other so as the holy spirit gives you insight and stretches your mind you are able to tap into the things that are freely yours because you have a transformed mind you have a transformed mind and as you rely on the holy spirit your supernatural source your mind begins to work in a supernatural way for example if your mind is transformed after god you just know healing belongs to me health belongs to me joy belongs to me wealth belongs to me favor belongs to me you also know that look when i look at the scripture i have seen how he raised help us he will raise helpers for me he will raise he will do unusual things for me and when there's a prophetic word he'll work for me praise god for example god gave us the word that the next 90 days are going to be 90 days of the covenant of testimony oh my
