Inside an Abandoned $15,000,000 Colonial Mansion that was once a Christmas Tree Farm | Untouched

i want to tell you a story a story about a loving couple in their dream home [Music] the story goes like this elliot and martha wanted to live on a farm with their five children in 1915 they had purchased a large pot of land to build their dream colonial mansion to suit their family later on elliot and martha's son sam inherited the home with his wife jean sadly in 2012 both sam and jean passed away just three months between each other in that time that the couple lived in the mansion the property was used as a christmas tree farm that closed for good in 2018 when the property was bought by a construction company for 15 million dollars it is unclear what will happen to the beautiful home as there have been rumors of demolition in the near future join me today as we explore this amazing mansion [Music] what's up everybody it is big banks we're back again for another video as you can tell we are in a beautiful mansion this place was built in 1915 it was last sold in 2018 for 15 million dollars and unfortunately this place is going to be demolished it's sad to hear that because this place is absolutely savable it is so beautiful as you can tell the staircase the wallpaper the floor i mean this place is insane and it's so pretty just wanted to film it before it does and yeah i hope you guys enjoy this video i'm with lc explorers today and i'll leave the stuff in the description and yeah guys this place is absolutely beautiful let's get right into it and let's explore this mansion guys this is one of the first ever colonial homes that i've ever explored and this is definitely my favorite one it's one of my favorite houses that i've ever explored to be honest like everything about it is just amazing i mean it sucks there's not really a lot left behind but you know it doesn't matter the architecture here is incredible just so sad to see this place go okay guys so there's nothing really left behind in this place it is empty like i said it is scheduled for demolition which i don't know why this place is absolutely stunning i mean look at this fireplace right here this is just one of the main little living rooms and you get a very nice big room and then as you come in here you get this little sun room and there's actually two of these sunrooms there's one on each side of the house and this is just the first one or i think somebody named abigail lived here because it says abigail right over there but this place is absolutely beautiful it is showing signs of decay like just a little bit a little bit of signs right here which is totally fixable and then we have the main living area of the home which is absolutely huge like massive and it has this nice i'm not sure if this is marble or not or what kind of stone this is if you know let me know in the comments but it looks pretty expensive yes me and then we have our second little sunroom here so there's two sunrooms on each side is absolutely beautiful guys there is power through some of the house but not all of it all right as we walk in here this is probably a little dining area a little breakfast area something like that it's got the checkered floors that lead into the main area when you walk in to the staircase and this place is three floors so we're gonna take you through it all but yeah i love floors like this and a little pantry i just want to show you guys everything and this wallpaper is actually quite cool i've been wanting to do this house for a long time i'm glad i finally did it looks like we got a little closet area and then this is arched actually so that's pretty cool then right through here we have a another little formal room right here we have you know bookshelf and this leads right into the sun room with another fireplace this is gonna be one of those houses with fireplaces everywhere but this is a colonial style home as you'll see on the outside as we walk right through here we get to a bathroom strange little bathroom here it's got like a stall but yeah that's pretty much the bottom floor so let's take you up to floor number two got two out of three and i hear what sounds like water running this staircase is absolutely stunning dude all the water works all the water works that's what i that's what i heard but look at the staircase guys like the red carpet all the way up there guys like this place is massive so we come this way transition to green carpet and we see that the water is still working but like i said part of the power is on yeah i'm gonna try the shower then we have another this is like a bedroom this house is really laid out kind of all the same on both sides it looks like each side of the house is just identical to each other we're going to go up to the third floor here in a minute but yeah we have this bedroom here which is like got some pink carpet actually like really like floral wallpaper here and a nice nice size closet in here too this is a pretty large bathroom in here it's supposed to be master it's even got a jetted tub and a bidet i think i don't think they had bidets back then if you guys know what that is let me know but i think it's a bidet it looks like they might be trying to salvage some things because there's you know green tape on some pieces of you know the house this is a kind of a weird floral wallpaper to it as well coming down this hallway this is a very large home we have another room looks like room just for storage obviously nothing in them this is a very very small room one of the smaller rooms i've seen in a house a little closet area a little storage area here come in here and we have a blue room so instead of pink we got blue now and this has a cool design on the wallpaper really nice fireplace i can only imagine having a fireplace aroma but it's so cool then it leads to a whole nother room in here and the wallpaper throughout this house is just kind of wild [Applause] got a closet that door's locked can't even get through there huh so throughout this hallway we also got more storage and we have two separate houses we have another bathroom kind of a cool tile in here like a hexagon more wallpaper another whole house over here what the heck we have a whole other staircase what the heck this is so different everything's carpeted in here and it's all the same carpet and then we have a kitchen with checkered floors what the heck what's going on with this house it's a bit strange a little storage area right here more bathrooms this place is quite large guys i mean 15 million dollars you know better get something decently sized for that amount of money all right guys we're gonna head up to the third floor now and i want you to just get a little look at this that is so crazy guys this is such an amazing house i can't believe it's gonna be demolished but i am starting to see a little bit of problems here that's like separating and it smells more uh moldy up here it gets really really really hot up here that's for sure so i wonder if this was like the attic turned into you know more rooms or something i have a little seating area as well as more storage just more storage a lot of storage in this place guys i'm just loving everything about this house the staircase the floors the wallpaper everything this house is so beautiful so i'm gonna keep showing you this place and i hope you guys are enjoying this video if you are more than just a home it might have been something else at one point too there's like a room with some yellow flowers on them i can see where some of the roof is cracking and where some decay has settled in for the most part it's not it's not unfixable this room has some weird blue carpet and pink walls like every room in here has just has a different wallpaper i'm loving this guys and yet another bathroom got the nice tub this looks like a closet this is definitely like a sauna yeah this was definitely the attic and it was just added on to make a house okay guys so we're going to go check out the kitchen oh my gosh it's huge [Music] huge kitchen let me turn on some light here this is pretty big i feel like this house was used for something else a whole bunch of keys here strange hmm i can't believe this place is going gonna get demolished then there's a whole another little area that i completely missed oh my gosh there's another kitchen what the heck this one's got like industrial looking stuff in it like these metal counters like what the heck that's not normal in a house look at these these stoves and microwaves this is crazy that's weird which one brings us to a whole other room right here i'm just loving this house and then back here there's like a courtyard area sad to say this place is going to be demolished i would love to have it a little bit out of my price range though back here we've got wow i don't know what this shirt is anyways [Applause] all right guys so that's the end of today's video and if you guys enjoyed this place just as much as i did
