Idea for Outfitting My Stanley Camp Set - Boil Test #2

hi haier here I want to do another test today I had another idea that I want to play around with on making a camp cook set out of my Stanley camp set I think you saw this before I did a video on this a couple of weeks ago where what I have is the stanley cook set you've seen these it's a nice little pot as a handle it comes on it nice lid inside or two plastic insulated cups but I just have here to show you the kit I won't be using them but what I've been playing with I want to use the Trangia the Trangia burner in this to use for that and the last time I did a test on this I use the Triad titanium defund I'm sorry the ever new titanium cross Stan I had used this on there and I don't know problem with these is you don't have simmer anymore which kind of takes away a big thing to use a trans year for it so what I have in here would be a tranche e of burner not the one I'm going to use today I really wanted to try something like this this is the mini transia pot Stan Trangia burner goes in just like that but the problem that comes in is it's nice because this will slide down in there while it won't on this one because of the these little air vents but they fit on the outside of the pot which is what I was looking for what there's no way to hold up the pot nice stand but they come to a point I thought maybe if I could make crossbars on this I could use this but just not enough space because on this one they make it come up to flat points so I saw on eBay this I think it's called Alex a LOC s a lots or something like that spirit runner and it comes with a stand that's very similar to the 28 T mini base but on this one it has a wider flange here let me ship and put this somewhere we can see it there you go see how it's wide so what I did was they just cut grooves on this so that I could put here yo I could put wire on this just right across like this so that now the pot sits on there with no problems at all that just mirrors the screen tilted anyway so that's what I want to try today see how this does compared to using the ever new titanium now what I had to do was these little air holes were pushed in to make sure that the burner is centered on this I pulled them out Simo kind of ground that down a little bit so I have to put it in the center of the pot stand then I have these little wires I can just put them across like this just like so let me light this like this and let it get started yeah I've got two cups of water here then you was saying that it was sitting at 59 degrees we'll see what happens when I put it in here I'm sure the temperature go up a little bit now this is a nice little container it holds up the 20 ounces to here so you can even put more in there than that okay let's stop blossoming yep just about while this test is running I'm going to try to make this screen not tilt so much okay there we have it's blossoming still set at 59 degrees two cups of water and let's see where this goes you there we have - ten - eleven - twelve at 8:59 okay last time I did this oil took ten minutes and 25 seconds this time it was about nine minutes so that's like a minute and a half I've saved using this plus so you know this the hint using the handle on this the handle is still cool plus by using this setup I can still use my simmer ring I can just put that right on here and it fits in there just like so so cool I like this like I said the Trangia is my favorite commercial stove commercial burner rather with different configurations let me just put this out helps this is hot okay so there's a start on my stand the camp set cook set using the stanley kit the Trangia I don't know all I can say is these are on eBay it cost me about nine dollars plus shipping and handling Cold Bay locks spirit burner it comes with this base and a Trangia type of burner more of a shiny brass I don't know if it's solid brass probably not solid brass but the it looks pretty much like the same same sizes and everything same overing except they're simmering has a handle on it so that you can play around with this where I had to use my old pliers this has a handle that you can use for putting it on and off break bucks and I bet I'll have to try this burner and see how it compares looks like it's the same number of holes same size like I said I got it for I think it was nine dollars plus shipping and handling so I'm on my way here I want to make up some sort of a camp set in case I just want to carry this along with my side pack this cup had strapped on or strap use the power cord from the power cord guy on here plus I can attach other things to this pouch okay so that was two cups of water starting at 59 degrees got to a full boil in 8 minutes and 59 seconds using a transia burner about 2 fluid ounces of alcohol or still alcohol left in there so I thank you for watching I look forward to your input questions remarks helpful suggestions has always watched from my buddy max by now you
