I tried Edible Food Art on Tik Tok | Satisfying Drinks

hi I'm Karthik Ewart and this is Ziggy pumpernickel are you a thirsty guy he's thirsty is head we've been watching a lot of TED talk and there have been these drinks these drinks in particular that are so gorgeous so amazed so inspiring that it makes you go understa so we're gonna try them [Music] get comfy Ziggy I'm about to do this first one and a champagne flute cuz we're gonna celebrate we're trying to make something gorgeous here and we're gonna take a pomegranate and I have never deseeded a pomegranate before I basically just like slice it in half rip it open go like pick all the little seeds out like a Neanderthal so we're not doing that today and you see here how this pomegranate is like kind of it's got these these kind of quadrants so the parts where it like kind of bulges I'm gonna like cut right there oh look at on Mnet's I actually never had them until elementary school when some like girl brought it and I was like what is this magical delicious fruit that looks like it's out of a cartoon because I just don't believe that these kind of fruits exist oh we're just cutting it down so we're cutting the skin only and not the fruit and the seeds but like I don't have a lot of control so might be cutting some seeds very dangerous just to get these I love making pretty art with food why not make your food look as beautiful as that cake you put on your face that's what I say to myself in the morning I'm kind of a professional these day sunder if I did this right because now I'm supposed to put it over this bowl of water and break the pomegranate I'm I need your man hands sorry oh I don't think you cut it oh really oh shoot be right back it's not making fun of my work like look how it goes okay just kind of pomegranate you ready to rip it you ready - yeah just the perfect pomegranate when you peel it and like throw it in the pulp is supposed to float to the very top you're supposed to be able to like easily get it out but like I don't trust the guy who gave me this tutorial but like it looks pretty clean for the most part there's like a few stragglers that won't get out but hey that's a lot of pomegranate okay so the kitchen stores are all closed so I'm gonna take this pomegranate this here pomegranate I'm gonna put it here not all Vic's I want some and now I'm gonna take this measuring cup and squeeze it in an attempt to make juice pomegranate be juicy its entirety oh my goodness this is like popping you know like that bubble wrap yeah this is the eco-friendly bubble wrap okay I really thought that this wasn't gonna work but I happened to be impressed oh yeah Kars is having fun Oh was kartha ever glad she put on her cheapest white dress and decided to make some juice today trying to understand why a pomegranate juice at a store is so expensive yeah I'm gonna like put my body weight into it don't break that ice cream right well I need to use it again for my next disaster I don't know the sticky you would even like it oh it's a cute a garnish because we're trying to make these like stunning oh it's like a mulberry good keep it it's like making me mad for this like so high up we just want you for flavor and a dash of color spray bubbly [Music] now I can have a little soiree that no one's gonna come to and this can be my drink but don't you like how it's like kind of really dark pink on the bottom and then like a medium pink with the little floppy drops in there absolutely Karthik you were fantastic physics pright oh so good beautiful - I'm really excited for this next one I'm gonna put some milk in here well this is gonna be so good and then I'm gonna warm it up for a minute 30 hot milk as well as a handful a little marshmallow I'm really sad first I'd love a good chocolaty drink I think you think he does - don't you think I'm gonna put three Oreos actually I'm greedy and then we just wait for it to kind of soften up you know we stir it up oh that smells like a warm hug by the cabin from a cute guy with a giant beard cool it keeps you warm like gigantic arms I'm describing me until the gigantic are gangly noodle arms keeping you safe and now we're gonna put some coffee hot coffee okay now we're gonna take some chocolate syrup and like Rim the sides this thing is an explosion but cream what would we do without tik tok a Halloween KitKat from October 20 19 still edible right oh my goodness I can't want to pull Oh more chocolate sauce like on the top just like oh oh okay so the coffee was supposed to make like the top area of the milk like a shade darker however I think it's because the coffee was as hot as the milk the coffee didn't compete for the top hopefully it still tastes good though [Music] I'm gonna give it a stir screw it oops Oh when you have a marshmallow sip it's like incredible he's my favorite one so far I just had like a head brush of epic proportions and I was gonna do like another colorful one but we're gonna do another chocolaty one and then another colorful one this one requires a fudgesicle I mean I want to use in a while pop milk here comes give a little stir that's one way to make the most chocolaty of chocolate milks I'm supposed to keep doing this until it melts in mmm what a fun way to show off my engagement ring I feel like ever since staying at home my relationship with food has gotten so much healthier I'm just eating stuff now before I'd be like no I'm like it's the highlight of my day so I might as well eat it this is like dunking a human in acid and be like yeah ha ha ha I want you to see the bones when you take his old arm out some nice smelling milk does anyone else really like the popsicle stick taste you know how it has like a taste I love really oh I love it I don't know why it just reminds me of childhood the ice cream man coming through oh yeah popsicle stick smells freshly cut grass and fresh rain campfire it's top four that's drink now that I'm doing this I'm realizing that this one is like quite similar to the last one chocolate syrup but I don't wanna make it messy because I don't like a lot less messy coffee hmm that's kind of fun it's a lie I really like when drinks have little sediment back one needs to make a ton of smoothies every day when I was healthy I took that kind of stuff very seriously like it having like three different sediments we're trying to make perfection here it really is like food art to me it's so inviting isn't it this is like what mom is milky no wait no no no no no no no no no no a lot of caffeine Wendy [Music] I'll cure what ails you dipping the Oreo good eatin oh my god oh my god this drink has got a Santini's mmm it's like better than any dessert I've ever had a restaurant it's everything there's something to be said though I was about to say not putting too much sugar in but probably a lot here it's a celebration would be cool to like give it a little sprinkle hearts heart to you yes yeah so I took like lime and I traced a heart on it Terry put sprinkles in his hand we like dipped it in yeah time to do science and now I'm gonna put this lemon slice on top without knocking sprinkles off as best as I can down Karthus got her fingers all over the blue Gare I'm gonna put a second slice in because the last one I felt like wasn't lemony enough and it makes like a more distinct layer now I'm gonna put frozen dragon fruit on top of the lemon I feel like this is like if you have a very sporty friend who doesn't want a birthday cake you can be like yo man got you this dragon fruit Gatorade infused drink how do you like that oh well that wasn't supposed to happen and if your friend asks you how much you put your fingers in the Gatorade just tell them it's absolutely none of their business they're lucky you're their friend in the first place what the heck that's a crazy-looking drink it looks like a potion one need more mana this was the only mint the grocery store had we're living in some weird Pines it's not like I'm doing rocket science I'm literally trying to make a sprinkle drink ale okay I need to find like at least one good leaf okay so I tried it again this is what it looks like when you use a cup that's too big to like use the lemon as a divider this one here it worked perfectly I like shoved as a lemon down low enough so that it kind of got stuff in the glass and now there's like a very strong divide from the dragon fruit and the Gatorade I didn't know dragon fruit with that pigment it's crazy and also instead of just dragging through because I was running out of dragon fruit there's also like coconut and mango if you look at the top here which is kind of fun like I got a frozen bag of dragon fruit and it came with coconut and mango and I think it looks really cool but I'm gonna try this one first it's like not as pretty I don't want to like ruin this yet look how pretty it is this tastes like liquid candy it's so hard to describe what this tastes like Terry I'm drawing a blank they tell me what stay asleep tend to get purple frizzy a purple frizzy the sprinkles are really nice touch purple freezes like right but too purple freeze these exist yeah good a little sprinkles on your lips it is exactly the same just this one's prettier because the gain rates still coming through like there's a hole in the middle of the lemon there's like a mango chilling down there there's so much going on I think that this is the only one that I would say is like actually food art the rest is just delicious but like this is very very gorgeous stunning it'll be such like a fun drink to have if you had people over it's like some again oh my god oh it's staining my mouth anyway this one is gorgeous this one is food art this one is everything this is the one that you have when you invite friends over and you're like listen this is what we drink here this is what we drink every day and it's got electrolytes it's got fruit ignore the fact that there's sprite I'm sure you could use like flavored water like sparkling Pellegrino or something and then actually it'd be something that I drink all the time okay last one in Karthik ooh it's gonna work in hyper speed look at the size of these strawberries humongous mutant human growth hormone yours put these in here and we're gonna crush into a pulp get in there the reason why I wanted to try these is because like when I saw how well that littered one work it got me really excited so I'm gonna try one more layer drink and a hope set we will be the champions we will reign supreme people are gonna like us and we're gonna make friends sprite okay and this one's weird and the reason why I wanted to try is because I have to use drinkable yogurt you know drinkable yogurt has entered the chat it just seems wrong you know sounds very wrong hey you gross who would have thought sprite and drinkable yogurt it's scaring me okay have a try it I don't really want to drink this why does it taste like an ice cream float you know when you put like a fizzy drink in and then you put ice cream on top and it's called like a float that's what that tastes like it's actually good this looks absolutely disgusting it didn't even have a moment where it looked good before I drink it but if you like ice cream floats but you're trying to cut back I think this might be your beckoning call but just don't you spray I feel like like - during contact talk
