i speedrun 2d minecraft

so today we're speed running through 2d minecraft or paper minecraft as it's also called and yeah this game is exactly like it sounds it's 2d minecraft okay it was supposed to spawn a little earlier there we go it's 2d minecraft they got all the beautiful minecraft sound effects different things like breaking blocks we got things like crafting where the crafting ui isn't very fun but it is a thing and we can even go ahead and make our own house i hope you like it but this game unsurprisingly because it's minecraft has its own speed running community so we're gonna go ahead and do some of those speed runs today sorry he was in my way now the first speedrun we're gonna start out with is the go to sleep speedrun so for this it's pretty simple there are two ways of doing this one is just spawning in a village and using someone else's bed and the other one is killing some sheep okay this is in a very good spot all of these speedruns i'm gonna be doing are random seeds so we do have to get lucky and hope we can actually get a good speed run but this one looks like an okay start basically for the get a bed speeder and you only need two things you need wood and you need a sheet that just stopped me from playing okay we're going to just keep going with it if i can find a fast sheep this could still be a good run or i can just go back into the stop giving me water also i just realized that our timer doesn't actually start until we make our first input so yeah i was just kind of wasting time we're even allowed to look around and make sure that the world's good i guess i'll give this one a try i don't think it'll be good but look at all the scary pumpkins okay there's a chicken and ocean okay can i get something and we're in a village which i don't really like but hey i'll show it off to you i don't know how to open this door i guess we'll just break it i probably could have pressed e for that whatever he doesn't even have any stuff in his stuff well my bed now i seriously just need one good spawn and are there even any trees in this world okay finally but i don't see any sheep so i don't think this will be good regardless one sheep that's all i'm asking for just let me end this torture okay here we go this is possible now these don't go into the ocean or something dude go the other way come on dude stop running away from me just die all right that's exactly what we need now we have this great crafting mechanics let's go uh blah blah blah oh my god i'm choking right now [Music] i just choked so hard come on wait i think that and i think that was world record it wasn't optimized at all but that might have been world record i just want to be done with this i don't care if it's unoptimized it's still world record it counts baby let's just see when i go in there i punched it that was so embarrassing 54-46 i am right behind you're kidding me oh and now zombies are also attacking me that's sad okay come on just give me a run if only that was a sheep why did it have to be a cow and also why did you have to be in my way that was kind of rude this still can be a good run we have a good area we just have to get a sheep along with this cow please god that could have been such a fast time or if that was a sheep why is it a pig okay sheep we have at least a sheep there is also a chicken in our way move move dude we just had to kill that chicken i think this can still be a world record i just have to craft well come on just die my dude okay okay it was world record it was barely world record it could have been so much better and that what thing is just furiously gyrating but whatever that was worth record i am happy with it literally just spent 20 minutes of my life on this one speed run that i thought would take me like two now the next speed run we're going to be doing is the milk tinker category yes milk dinker not drinker i don't know why this one's pretty similar in that we have to get a certain animal but this time we also have to get iron the first thing we're gonna look for of course okay if only i had you sheep last time why'd you have to whatever if we can find a tree and then we have cows all around okay this could actually be a really good run we need to get plenty of wood and then we can use this to hopefully mine and then it's time to get our cow okay we have our first pickaxe and i don't actually want to mine directly into please game don't just give me all this iron right away all right i need a little bit of time to relax before i get there okay and now we can make this pick things are actually looking kind of good right now get away from me cow i don't need you just yet i will need you in a second though and we need to get cobblestone so we can also make our furnace and please game just help me get up here i please my cow is literally right there can you move dude and i hope these sticks are gonna be enough he's literally sitting right there all we have to do is just wait for this yeah this is an invigorating speedrun we also need some more wood or we might need some more wood oh i guess we can also use our pick okay please just work please last the entire duration of this we have an actually adequate run okay barely now we can go ahead make our bucket and then we punched them and then i don't know how to drink it um i think that's the end of the run i don't yeah i think that's the end um we just have milk i don't really know if we drink it or what we do with it but it's there and that'll put us in a nice second place first place is actually insane with how fast they go so i don't think we're beating that for this one and the last speed run we're gonna do for this game is the old iron armor speed run yeah this one is not too fun it's very much luck but you know maybe we'll get the good luck so of course we can start it and first thing as always is just going to be to get some wood also this just looks kind of hilarious how high he can mine above him especially when it's in 2d and now it's time to just be in the dirt for a while and hopefully get a lot of cobblestone hooray and there's iron right there that's actually really good luck that is a very good start for the speed run this can very easily be world record if i just get lucky now i mean i guess that's pretty much all these speeders wait that was only one iron okay well oh there's more and an enderman are you you're kidding me oh this game please stop dude please get away from me all right i i don't know what i did to deserve this but we do have a cave system which might be a very good thing but i really don't like how there's an actual enderman just here whatever i guess it's just time to hope that everything works out i think he left us alone which is a nice thing and we're gonna make a bunch of furnaces as well i guess we can only make two right now but eventually we're gonna have more and one last thing i shouldn't forget about is torches because unfortunately because we're going deep in here and the lighting isn't the best we will need some torches as we're going through is this not an actual cave i was really hoping that this was an actual cave well this is kind of unfortunate now what are you doing here villanger okay what um you got any free stuff no okay well it is what it is all right see you guys later i didn't even know there was a village here what i'm really looking for is a cave system just any part of a cave and that'll make this a lot easier i'm really sad that we found that iron glob and it was literally only three maybe there's something oh and this is a world record in its own right this is the fine gold world record oh do we need an iron pick i'm switching around this speed run right now okay i need this mine gold world record because this is what i saw and i was like you know i'll get that if i can uh if i can and i mean i might as well game please i'm pretty sure we can get this i guess i'll still focus on my other speedrun while we're trying to do this but come on dude no hey creeper hi crit let me go and now a skeleton no my world record literally could have been it this is so sad whatever now it's just time to focus on getting the world record that i was actually trying to get at the beginning and that was actually a good cave system i mean there were mobs which were kind of scary but we could have done something good with that let's just hope we can get a slightly better speed run this time i just don't want everything wrong happening again i'm gonna try to look around okay that's some good iron maybe this will be a fairly alright glob of iron it would be so crazy if you just got all 24 iron you needed right away i think that would very rarely happen but this is looking good so far i'm a little tempted to just keep mining and hopefully finding some more but i don't think that's gonna work we'll try this a little bit see if we can do anything about it and no it's not gonna work that is still a very good start for our iron and now we just have to look for a cave we have a pretty good run going right now it's only three minutes in we have 11 of our iron if we just find a cave system or just some iron in general then we're really good looking okay that is scary and now we're in the water this is a funny swimming animation i'm gonna line down here okay coal is good because then we can get torches with that and we can also go ahead and use our furnaces and now we're kind of just hoping we get lucky please dude die this is this is not looking good come on man okay please can i jump over him no yeah i'm done
