in the house for up to a week at a time James works at a large insurance company and he's their best salesman so because James is so good at his job we are fairly wealthy every time I hear he's leaving I pretend to act all sad and ask him if he really has to go but on the inside I'm super excited to finally be able to go see the man I truly love he's only slightly older than James but he's started a few years back when I was a senior in high school in the beginning of senior year a boy named Kevin transferred into our class his dad had just gotten a new job which required his family to move to my city I remember thinking he was cute when I first saw him he was one of those silent types who would listen more than they would speak eventually we got to talking and I started growing more and more attached he would often catch me staring at him in class and he would give me a knowing smile as if to say I feel the same way we started dating not long after and those first few months were one of the happiest moments in my life kevin was one of the kindest people I've ever met he would take me out to dates and movies and he treated me like a princess my mom loved him too she would have no problem with me being out late at night as long as she knew Kevin was with me my mom and I have always had a very special relationship to me she's not just a parent she's also my sister and best friend my mom is pretty young see she had me when she was just 18 she had met my dad in college and they got married when they were still students she tells me it was one of those times when you just know that he's the one unfortunately my dad was not long for this world he died in an accident a year after I was born when I was 14 my mom met Alan and I could tell by looking at them that they loved each other dearly he was a widower like my mom and had no children of his own my mom had met him on a dating site and after the first date she came back home with a radiant glow on her face I was so excited for her I knew better than anyone how hard she had worked to raise me as a single mother and the struggle she had endured she deserved to be happy and what made her happy was Alan pretty soon he became an important part of our lives a couple months into my relationship I started feeling nauseous and I was tired all the time one day I was looking in the mirror and I noticed that my breasts had grown bigger that was when it hit me a million thoughts ran through my head I was scared confused and mortified all at the same time I was only eighteen which also happened to be the same age as my mother was when she had me after I confirmed it with a pregnancy test the first thing I did was call Kevin I told him we need to talk poor guy he thought I was going to break up with disappointed or were these tears of joy and that is when I noticed her figure she had gained weight and like me her breasts had become swollen my worst fear came true when she told me she was pregnant as well I was outraged I thought to myself how could she do this to me I had been counting on her being there for me through my pregnancy and afterwards but how could she do that when she would be a lot that my mom had already been through it once before my little girl was born two days before her aunt two years later they both looked so much alike that anyone would mistake them for sisters my mom and I take turns watching over them so that she can spend time with Alan who has now become my stepfather and I can have more time alone with my beloved Kevin getting pregnant at the same time as my mom has been a miracle and a special bonding experience that has brought us even closer to each other all of this has taught me that there's definitely a light at the end of every tunnel and what Macy having any brother she never told me about her brother he kept on talking about her and said she's suffering from some disease that she's hospitalized in treatment is ongoing finally he uttered that Macy is sick and will not be coming back to school I decided to meet Macy after school but by the end of the day I forget that I have to meet Macy I reached home and found no one there I was very hungry so I immediately rushed to the kitchen to get something to eat but I found nothing and finally ended up eating cornflakes with milk I was tired with too many lectures that day then I went to my room freshened up and jump straight to the bed to sleep after some time my mobile phone started ringing I received a call and guess who it was talking on the other side hey I'm Macy's brother you were supposed to visit the hospital today Macy was waiting for you Hospital I exclaimed you didn't tell me she was in a hospital you just told me she was sick oh gosh that was unpredictable behavior of mine her brother got angry at me and disconnected the call I kept wondering when did he see Macy was in the hospital and then my home doorbell rang I went to the door and opened it my parents were there as soon as they entered my mom asked me what's for dinner and I shockingly asked her come again my mom said I told her this morning about arranging dinner for tonight I told her mom I don't remember you telling me all this and she said yes she told me to arrange dinner before we come I quietly rushed to my room took my phone and ordered ravioli and pasta for all of us then I sat on my bed worried and was thinking about what was happening since this morning why don't I remember anything then my mom came to my room and asked me why I was looking so tense I told her everything that was happening since this morning I also said that I should go to the doctor for a checkup but my mom was against my decision she exclaimed that I was fine no need to visit a doctor the next day in the school library my crush Jackson came and asked me let's meet today and go on a date that moment I was feeling so wonderful as if I was flying in the sky she asked me to meet her at 6 p.m. outside the school gate and she went I continued studying and around 5 p.m. I got a call from my mom that was in fact a reminder call I had asked her to call me and remind me that I have to visit Macy at the hospital I was wrapped up in everything and rushed there I reached the hospital at around 5:45 p.m. and met Macy she was so happy to see me she kept on talking and she was telling me about her about Dave and his character she knew that was dating him and from somewhere she came to know about this she said she dated Dave my boyfriend secretly to know how honest he is with me but he failed to do so my mum showed all the recording and the pictures that they took to everyone the reason behind telling all this publicly was that in the future Dave should not play with any of a girl after listening to all of this I went onto the stage and hugged my mum she is the true caretaker of mine and I was feeling ashamed of her I too confessed about what I felt for her and decided that I will
