[Music] hi there i'm holly and this is a story of a shocking moment in my life that changed everything forever it all started as far back as i can remember i had a best friend that was closer to me than even a sister we did everything throughout our younger years together we liked all the same music we had the same taste in clothes although we could never share because she was always much thinner than me however she'd always teased me that i still had the advantage since i was a natural blonde and she was a brunette nonetheless we always had a blast we go on double dates together we even went to our prom with the same guy not literally of course you see they were identical twin brothers so it was kinda like the same guy all our lives we always figured that we'd end up living life side by side no matter what then all of a sudden that all changed in a flash after graduation she decided to go on to pursue a degree in medicine and i joined the peace corps to become a teacher since they had a very enticing program that would pay for my degree this would result in both of us living in very different parts of the country we would keep in touch a lot usually we talked every week and when we got busy we'd write eventually she finished college and then went to nyc for an internship and after i completed my time in the peace corps and had my teaching degree i was offered a really great job in hawaii while in hawaii my life once again took a huge turn it was there while taking some extra classes on the weekend that i met robert it was like a cosmic flair immediately we were drawn to each other from that day forward we were inseparable within six months we were married i had always wanted a huge wedding and the whole shebang but robert had wanted to elope spontaneously we were already on a weekend lovers retreat and he had suggested that it just felt so right to do it immediately he said down the road once we got settled a bit we could always have a family celebration i was so in love i couldn't help myself so we eloped well now i'm gonna fast forward my story a bit here four years later my best friend and i have been talking on and off throughout a few months time she tells me about this guy she met on the internet on a dating site and how they've been talking back and forth for months now she said how he seems amazing almost too perfect she told me about all the romantic things that he sent her in the mail she said she can't wait to see him in person that they haven't exchanged pictures of each other yet because he told her that it should be part of the surprise when they finally meet so she wants me to be there when he comes to meet her because she's nervous and she asked me would i do this favor for her i told her of course i would since she's like a sister to me i knew robert had a traveling teacher seminar coming up soon so i suggested this time frame to her that this would be a good time for me to fly to her for the weekend she agreed this would be a perfect plan so i packed my bags and bought my airline ticket and it was off to help give some moral support to my lifelong best friend their date was set and of all the places in the world my favorite sushi at nobu in midtown manhattan now this guy has the same taste as lynn and i we arrived a little early so she could be waiting in a booth for him and when we spoke to the hostess she said that her date had already reserved a table in advance so she showed us to the table on the table was a centerpiece of wild orchids with a note that read these orchids are as rare and beautiful as the love we have found can't wait to meet you i was flawed what a romeo this guy must be lynn sat down in the booth and i quietly sat at another table on an opposite angle across the room i could clearly see them however he'd have to turn around to purposely look down this end to see my table then the moment came as he walked up to the table i was in shock couldn't breathe it was him i knew by his tall stature deep voice the curls in his hairline without thinking i grabbed a waiter and asked for his apron and said please you'll understand in two minutes i took his order pad and pen and i marched straight to their table my best friend lynn looked at me in desperation as if to say what the hell are you doing and then i said as he looked at me like he was having a heart attack can i take your order oh let me see that's right your name is roberto and your favorite food is raw peruvian oysters on the half shell oh yeah how is it i know that lin said please holly what's going on she started to cry i should have felt bad for her she certainly couldn't have known but all i could feel was insane anger so i grabbed her hand and looked at him and said you'll be hearing from my lawyer then we left we took the train back to her place she kept trying to apologize but it wasn't her fault after that my lawyer informed me that he was already married in several other states to women that he met on facebook [Music] hey there my name is samantha my boyfriend andy and i had only been dating for a few months when he took me by surprise one evening marry me he beamed opening a small box to reveal a sparkling ring yes i smiled as he slipped it on my finger he made me very happy and he got on well with my three kids so i was excited i announced her engagement on facebook a few days later a message appeared in my inbox from a woman i didn't know just a warning andy likes younger women she wrote i'll end up leaving you for one who the hell is this i demanded showing andy the message he rolled his eyes my ex he said ignore her she's just bitter i believed him in time we married in our local registry office i wore a beautiful white dress with a sparkly tiara and felt like a princess not long after andy came home one day and told me he'd invited one of his customers over for dinner he worked as a driving instructor hope that's okay he asked me i think you two will get on sure i shrugged i was always open to meeting new people he said her name was claire that night she came over with her 16 year old daughter beth and sure enough claire and i got on like a house on fire after that first dinner we started seeing each other regularly then sometimes when andy and i wanted a night out beth would babysit for us she's a nice girl isn't she andy smiled after she'd left one night a good kid i agreed a couple of weeks later andy came to speak to me beth's having some problems with her mom he said mind if she stays here for a bit she's 16 andy teenagers always have problems with their parents i said come on just for a bit she's not in a good way he said fine i sighed but i'll have to speak to claire about it first she was fine with it when i called her maybe time apart will do us good claire said beth moved in and helped me around the house and with the boys then one day i was in the yard when one of my neighbors came over for a chat beth and andy are very close she said the way she said it implied she thought there was more to it are they i asked she follows him around like a puppy dog she said after that i paid more attention she was right beth was like andy's little shadow i assume she saw him as a father figure there was a 28-year age gap between them so i was sure there couldn't be anything more to it but then one morning when i was in the bedroom when my eight-year-old son came bursting in mommy i need to tell you something he said he made me come down to his level and then whispered i saw beth and andy kissing what i yelped they were kissing behind the lounge room door he said he looked worried and i knew he wasn't lying jumping up i stormed downstairs andy beth i barked i need to speak to you both now they appeared looking flustered tyler has just told me that he saw the two of you kissing i said they both burst out with laughter what a load of rubbish andy said he's old enough to be my dad beth giggled precisely i said glaring at her but why would he lie probably just for attention she shrugged and you fell for it andy laughed fuming i stormed upstairs my son had no reason to lie over the next couple of weeks i kept my beady eyes on them i noticed the looks they flashed at each other and that their phones would often be pinging back and forth as though they were exchanging messages then one night andy left his facebook up when he went out of the room and i couldn't resist a peek sure enough there were messages to beth you look so hot today one said i can't wait to be alone with you said another i felt bile rise up in my throat how could he be doing this with our teenage babysitter when andy came back i exploded how could you i raged she's 16. you're disgusting he denied it even when i told him i'd seen the facebook messages i'd had enough it's best you leave i said you're the one ending the marriage you leave he retorted i was gobsmacked was he kidding i'm ending the marriage because you cheated on me with a teenage girl i raged i also have three kids to think of finally he relented but took the bed and the microwave with him so petty once he'd gone i confronted beth you'll be happy to know andy and i are over why would i be happy she said playing dumb i didn't want to be too hard as she was vulnerable but i was thankful when i noticed the next morning that she'd packed her stuff i knew where she was going silly girl sure enough a few weeks later i heard she was staying in a caravan with andy when word got out about what happened the whole town turned against them people on the street started hurling abuse at them and andy had rude words sprayed all across his ute eventually they moved towns i was glad i no longer had to run the risk of bumping into them in time i divorced andy and moved on four years later i received a text from a friend you'll never guess who's on tv she said i flipped over to the channel she mentioned and my mouth hung open in shock the program age gap love andy and beth were boasting about their relationship it revealed they were now married and with two children good luck to them i just hope beth knows that when she gets too old for him andy will be trading her in for a younger model it's just what he does the rat andy claimed the marriage fell apart because samantha rekindled her relationship with her ex which she denies he said samantha reported us to the police to which no action was taken due to no evidence this shows i did nothing wrong and neither did beth we married when she was 18. perfectly legal hi my name is elisa and this happened when i was about six or seven years old but is something that i have never forgotten my dad belonged to a karate group and every year during the summer members from the association would get together in the mountains at a camp participate in different martial art workshops and have a good time the property that this was held at was private property and owned by the person who had started the association the camp would only last about three to four days before everyone went home it was common for people to bring their spouses kids and pretty much the whole family so my dad always took me with him and we camped out in the tent my mom stayed home my dad would just let me run free during the day since everyone knew each other i usually stayed fairly close by playing in the woods or playing with the other kids and i often checked in with my dad throughout the day while the property was several acres it was also fenced in and i was left with specific instructions to never go beyond the fence one year we were camping and before leaving for a workshop he told me to make sure the tent flap was closed and to not leave it open if i left so somebody wouldn't get the bright idea to steal something pretty much everyone at the camp knew each other and for the most part were decent people but still to be on the safe side i agreed and he left to join some of the other members while i hung out in the tent it wasn't long before i got bored of sitting in the tent and decided to go take a walk in the woods as i was leaving i decided to leave the tent flap open about halfway and my siamese cat stuffed animal inside there were some other tents around our area but there was no one around or so i thought because everyone was busy with the workshops and i figured it would be okay i wasn't gone more than an hour when i got back to the tent and although nothing was out of place i immediately could tell that something was off i looked around and to my dismay i could see that my stuffed siamese cat was gone i was heartbroken where could he be clearly someone took him on a mission to find my stuffed animal and the person who took him i stepped out of the tent and that is when i saw him sitting just inside the opening of his tent not far from ours was a man with a mustache holding my cat he sat there and waved at me i stood there and stared at him not knowing what to do like so many others i was raised to be polite and to always be nice just be nice so normally i would have gone over to him and see what he wanted and get my cat back this time i had a sick feeling deep in my gut that if i did that i would never see my family ever again he beckoned me to come over to him and tilted my stuffed animal in his hands i had an internal struggle going on inside of me at that moment should i go tell someone that this man stole my stuffed animal i was afraid that i would get yelled at if i did i also knew that i couldn't let this man take my stuffed animal from me finally i gathered up the courage and ran full tilt towards the man grabbed the stuffed animal from his hands and ran past him with a fury until i found a trusted adult i never told my dad or anyone at the camp about what happened it wasn't until recently that i mentioned to my dad for the first time what happened that day and concerned he asked why i never said anything he also said that the description of the man with the mustache didn't match the description of anyone he knew within the association he told me that i should have told him or somebody else and that what would have happened is that about 20 angry martial arts experts would have kicked the guys [Music] to this day i still have my siamese stuffed animal and both of my kids have also played with him at some point he is known as the stuffed animal that mom rescued from the creepy man who stole him while i don't regret running and grabbing my kitty from the man i do regret not telling someone about him he clearly didn't belong at the karate camp and had bad intentions i often wonder about how many other people he had done a similar thing to and had i told someone he might be sitting in jail instead of doing who knows what to others so creepy perverted stuffed animal thief let's never meet again how did you like this story let us know and this is the story of when we had my mom and dad's 30th anniversary party it was a huge bash my five siblings and i arranged everything we hired my parents favorite local rock band to play they even set up a stage and dance floor in the backyard we made a canopy roof from lots of twinkling lights they are my mom's favorite we had the party catered with all their favorite dishes from the we had such an amazing relaxing time together something we've never taken the time to do just us girls before the three of us got manicures and pedicures as well as a facial we were delighted to see our mother enjoying herself and feeling like a queen for a day now my three brothers their job for the day was to make sure to get all 200 invitations out to our friends relatives and neighbours with the larger percentage of people being local neighbours and friends since we didn't have many relatives that lived near us my siblings and i decided to get my parents a whole bunch of lottery scratch-offs and make a basket bouquet with them tied with ribbons and we would present them at the party right before the end of the night fireworks that we had planned the big day came everyone had an amazing time my siblings and i danced the night away and really loved seeing our mum and dad have so much fun as the end of the night drew near we had the videographer go live on my social media account to connect with all our family and friends that couldn't make it so they could see us present our parents with their lottery basket as they scratched off each ticket everyone was chanting and shouting win win win win when all of a sudden my mom starts to scream oh my oh my we won we won tears of joy were rolling down both their faces my dad was in shock one of their tickets they scratched and one was a million dollars now in that basket were also tickets for a trip to europe for both of them they were so excited they didn't see it at first meanwhile this whole time not even realizing it the videographer was still recording live on social media however while my parents went away on vacation to europe and we siblings went to our farmhouse for a small outing because of my posting on social media of the video that night and all the information about their lottery winning their gifts and trip to europe being out there for everyone to see when we all came back from vacation their house had been the only good thing is that nobody was at home to get hurt the police never did catch who did it but after this incident my parents installed a 24-hour surveillance system and we will whole family stretch marks result from our first son being born she gained weight because she was busy keeping the house healthy she had no time for herself she committed herself fully to the family we have always been a top priority for her i started visiting our son in the hospital every day i felt regretful for betraying my family how marvelous it is to have a family i wanted to fix everything i waited for a month until my son got well then i asked my ex-wife to meet me in the park when we met i was surprised to see her as she had turned into a real beauty though she has always been a real beauty i never noticed it i realized that i still love her and wanted her back in my life desperately i was happy and excited too to get her back in my life i apologized and convinced her to come back but i was late she had another man in her life she deserves to have a great man who will always keep her and my son happy i regret very much for leaving my family when they needed me if you also have
