[Music] hi I am Anne today I will share a story of the day I found my mom loves my boyfriend mom Evan is coming over for dinner please don't embarrass me again I called downstairs to my mom who is preparing for dinner darling you embarrass yourself enough for the both of us now come here and set the table I can't I have to get ready Deborah and get yourself in the kitchen and set the dang table I stomped downstairs defeated by her screaming outburst and began to set the table my stomach growled as I smelled the steak cooking and the mashed potatoes being slowly beaten in the mixer I held my stomach and groaned mom it's the food almost ready yes dear you can go get ready right after you finish setting the table I let out a loud cheer before quickly setting the silverware down in place and running to my room I change into the outfit I had picked out earlier and then get started on my makeup I worked to cover up my acne and contoured my face to appear to have a thinner face and classier cheekbones then I added neutral eyeshadows and started loading the mascara onto my lashes I looked in the mirror and smiled I looked so cute it's no wonder that Evan likes me I heard a knock on the door and raced down the stairs successfully beating my mother to the door and slung it open standing there with my sexy hunk of a boyfriend I squealed as I wrapped my arms around him and began to passionately kiss him we part as my mom clears her throat Evan was blushing deeply he looks so cute I ignore my mom's gaze and pull him inside I drag ass to the table my mom following behind closely and we dive into our meal the steak was cooked to a medium-rare perfection and mixed with the mashed potatoes create a smooth creamy texture that is absolutely anyone would love for it was not long before all the food was gone and our bellies completely stuffed I am Evan are going to go hang out in my room now I tell my mother as I start to get up to my surprise my boyfriend starts picking up my plates and cleaning after the meal Evan babe we don't need to help my mom has a covered no he insists on helping he gave my mother a dazzling smile that rivaled the Sun this is the same smile that I had falling for to my horror I saw my mother's heart melt from that point on my mother was completely in love with my boyfriend why don't we play a few games after my mother innocently but I knew her real plan she just wanted to steal Evans affection I wasn't gonna let that happen unfortunately before I could decline my mom's offer Evan agreed I groaned and looked at my mom but she was focused entirely on Evan that night could not have been any more of a disaster it seemed to drag on for ages in an intense battle for Evans affection mom was continually asking questions that did not require me to answer or make a comment each question was solely for Evan to answer he did try to include me into the conversation but then my mom would ask another question to exclude me eventually I gave up and let them talk they kept it up until he had to leave I walked with him to his car all the while my mom stood in the doorway waving him off Evan gave me a quick pack and a final wave to my mom finished and paid he got even more nervous as we went outside towards his car eventually he grabbed my hand and stopped I turned around to face him and he said listen I've been thinking I really love you and want to know if you want to move in with me I said yes immediately Mike was the man of my dreams why wouldn't I want to live with him a few months passed after that and then we moved into an apartment together it was nice but it wasn't super fancy which was okay with us seven months later I came home from work early one night because I was feeling sick I opened the front door and noticed Mike wasn't on the couch watching TV like he normally was but it was still turned on I thought that was weird so I went to see if he was still home as I walked down the hallway I heard strange noises coming from our bedroom I opened the door and saw him in our bed with some random girl I was stunned I never thought Mike would do this to me they were too busy to notice me come in so I shut the door and stormed out of the apartment I went outside and sat on a bench nearby before immediately deleting his number and blocking him on every single piece of social media I had I called my friend while I round when they exited and did their usual parting kiss another woman that I found out later was the other guy's wife burst from between the cars in a sprint carrying a tire iron neither of them saw it coming she whacked her husband first and my wife next hit them both several times dropped the tire iron and left both were motionless but still breathing trying to decide what to do two security people ran from the hotel to check on them one of them calling for help I watched the whole thing unfold with paramedics whisking them both away someone from the hospital called me and told me where she was I went there and found her room and stayed with her for the rest of the day she finally awoke and told me what happened everything about the affair and the attack and I told her I'd be filing behavior because in my whole life I saw him showing transparency now my urge to know the reality got stronger I was irritated with my parents behavior and I went back home I entered the living room and saw my mom along with another woman on the couch watching a film I greeted them casually and went towards my bedroom lost in my thoughts then I stopped for a minute and saw them holding hands and she was wearing a night scene which meant she was sleeping there immediately my mom came to me and asked how come I came home even though the weekend hadn't been over yet I didn't bother answering and instead directly asked her mom who is she oh she's my friend Ruby who came to visit me and that's when I interrupted her as I hate lies in the people who tell them your friend she visited you in her knight suit my mom was embarrassed then she sighed and sat down on a chair and said okay son listen I was boiling with anger and I directly questioned her oh come on mom cut the crap you really can't answer straight away that she's your girlfriend my mom's face seemed confused yet embarrassed and relieved too well finally she accepted that she's her girlfriend and just because it would have been hard for me to take it she hid it from me now I finally got the reason behind my parents breakup my mom fell in love with Ruby and the only solution she found was divorce she felt that I wouldn't understand this and hate her for it so she begged my dad not to tell me anything I told her to live her life the way she wants my mom introduced me to Ruby and then she started spending lots of time with us Ruby is a very nice woman and now they're living a normal life but I feel bad for my dad but these things happen in life no one can avoid it friends if you think you've done something which
