hello I am Stella and I am an ambitious girl born and brought up in Amsterdam I'm independent extrovert and a complete feminist I've always been particular about the guy I would date and haven't thought of marriage yet though I'm of 29 years I don't think I'm ready yet I've always wanted to be with a guy who would support career emotionally intelligent he would respect me my opinion and suggestions he will let me stay the way I am and not trying to change me in any case one day in my friends party I was at the bar with a glass of wine there a guy walked to me named Alex and asked for a cigarette I told him I don't smoke he didn't smoke either it was just his way to start a conversation weird right I thought so too anyway I was talking to him for the entire evening we exchanged phone numbers and he was quick to message the next day he started flirting and I enjoyed it and soon we started dating each other things were fine for the first few weeks he was overly possessive he never liked that I hung out with my male friends but never made a big fuss about it he would often tell me not to go to some places and parties I didn't always listen to him and would tell him he is quite mean but it wasn't such a big issue for either of us we even troubled to Singapore together it was a great trip and we had a wonderful time things were going so well and we had a great chemistry once it was my friend's birthday and this friend was a guy greatly bothered Alex though he never clearly said the same to me I was getting ready for the party Alex entered the room and looking at my outfit said but it was too short I looked at him in disbelief and replied it was a short dress and I didn't find it too short next he brought scissors and tried to cut my dress from the hem just to make it shorter I pushed him away and shouted at him he said that if the dress got shows her my friend would like it even more that was cruel on my way to the party all I could think of was how suspicious he was and how little he trusted me I was in no mood to party and so I went to a cafe and catch on thinking about the incident next day Alex apologized for his action but that was just the beginning of his nasty behavior I heard about some guys who have a possessiveness for their girlfriends but Alex took it to a whole new level such incidents kept on happening frequently after some days he had to head to Sweden for his business meeting and I was relieved knowing he wouldn't be around for that entire week I wanted to spend time with my friends without worrying about how Alex would react I plan to meet my friend whose birthday party I didn't attend I called him and we decided to hang around a day out after roaming around the entire day when we went for dinner I saw Alex at the restaurant he never went to Sweden and was following me all around the city and was completely confused he tried making a scene accused me of cheating on him with that same friend he was almost about to punch my friend but I dragged him out I wanted my space and my privacy just because I was dating him doesn't mean I have to bid goodbye to my friends so I decided to break up with him but he wouldn't let me break up with him he was on my feet begging me to give him another chance I had made up my mind and didn't need to ponder anymore I thought breaking up would make my life easy and simple but he kept messaging and calling at office hours he even started bothering my friends and once showed up outside my office he said he'd come up if I didn't come down to speak to him I was scared that he shouldn't make a massive scene I had no other option but to call the cops and file a harassment complaint against him women should be alert and shouldn't accept such kind of behavior hungry so I immediately rushed to the kitchen to get something to eat but I found nothing and finally ended up eating cornflakes with milk I was tired with too many lectures that day then I went to my room freshened up and jump straight to the bed to sleep after some time my mobile phone started ringing I received a call and guess who it was talking on the other side hey I'm Macy's brother you were supposed to visit the hospital today Macy was waiting for you Hospital I exclaimed you didn't tell me she was in a hospital you just told me she was sick oh gosh that was unpredictable behavior of mine her brother got angry at me and disconnected the call I kept wondering when did he see Macy was in the hospital and then my home doorbell rang I went to the door and opened it my parents were there as soon as they entered my mom asked me what's for dinner and I shockingly asked her come again my mom said I told her this morning about arranging dinner for tonight I told her mom I don't remember you telling me all of this and she said yes she told me to arrange dinner before we come I quietly rushed to my room took my phone and ordered ravioli and pasta for all of us then I sat on my bed worried and was thinking about what was happening since this morning why don't I remember anything then my mom came to my room and asked me why I was looking so tense I told her everything that was happening since this morning I also said that I should go to the doctor for a checkup but my mom was against my decision she exclaimed that I was fine no need to visit a doctor the next day in the school library my crush Jackson came and asked me let's meet today and go on a date that moment I was feeling so wonderful as if I was flying in the sky she asked me to meet her at 6 p.m. outside the school gate and she went I continued studying and around 5 p.m. I got a call from my mom that was in fact a reminder call I had asked her to call me and remind me that I have to visit Macy at the hospital I was wrapped up in everything and rushed there I reached the hospital at around 5:45 p.m. and met Macy she was so happy to see me she kept on talking and she was telling me about her sickness the experiences from the past few days and after some time my mobile phone rang yes Jackson was on the call I received the call and asked her why was she calling me Jackson got angry on the walking back from the opposite direction and collide with each other we both fell onto the floor and started laughing we started talking to each other and got to know each other better we were having a lot of fun and I was getting infatuate on him more than before I felt that even he had also started like unique I pondered on the thought that we actually came here in search of the first aid box and then we were sitting and talking for so long I was getting loving vibes from Michael and suddenly he started leaning toward me as if leaning in for a kiss without giving it a thought I just grabbed him and kissed him on the lips I was actually kissing my crush for real and it was amazing and suddenly Michael pushed me away and said hey have you lost I was so embarrassed and confused I told him stammering what what we well you leaned in for a kiss right oh no that was a wrong assumption he pointed behind me to reveal that the first aid box was lying under the chair behind me he was reaching for the first aid box it was so awkward and embarrassing for me my ears were waiting to hear that he enjoyed it but there was just silence I didn't know what to do so I ran out of the party
