I modded GTA Street Races to be much, MUCH harder

hey this is doug doug where we solve problems that no one has now the street race events in gta 5 are ridiculously easy you got to beat five dudes in a race and frankly they pose no actual threat so today we're creating 10 different gta 5 mods which are specifically designed to make the street races way harder mod number one will violently boost your car forward every 10 seconds you gotta time it well or you die good luck three two one one wait what oh [ __ ] they already [Music] okay whatever we're racing okay this is what i wanted an actual hard street race like they're way ahead of me but if i get a boost on this straight right here i should be able to catch up okay somebody's backyard theoretically if i boost off this i can get back into the race catch up and win [Music] no that went horribly but now i know the strategy i have to anticipate the boost and make sure that i use franklin's power right as it's happening so i can actually capitalize as a reminder franklin has a super ability that lets him slow down time while driving but it's limited so you have to use it sparingly check this out so when the boost happens i'm totally in control so what i really need to do is predict the boosts using my power and then i'll always be fine [Music] still a lot sorry how are they in it i don't understand how the ais are handling this i'm second place there's one guy ahead of me checkpoints right there dude's off the course dude went off the course i'm at first as long as i don't know anything stupid here hit the corner with the power and now let's find a lap oh my god no no no no no no no no no i thought i would boost through the ice cream truck but my coop was not as powerful as the taco truck okay that was still way too easy so level two is a mod where time only moves when you drive fast the faster it goes the faster the game will run but if i hit anything it'll slow down and then it's going to take so long to speed back up actually this is actually [ __ ] cool now once the race starts and the mod is activated time will slow down to two percent speed if you stop moving or crash so you have to drive perfectly because otherwise you have to start the race over if i maintain a speed of 50 no it won't slow down that much no [ __ ] all right buckle in everybody are you kidding me maybe i can just drive through i miss the checkpoint no no no no no no no we have to count down this is gonna take like four minutes three this is the worst next up is a mod that makes all the cars invisible so you must avoid the other drivers while simultaneously not seeing their car and honestly this is still pretty easy but what if the drivers also weren't visible we want invisible drivers invisible everything [Music] okay i mean i know approximately where i am [Music] what the hell are you doing i don't know man like is anybody enjoying this we have no clue what's happening god i'm imagining all sorts of cool things happening right now you guys disable the hud make myself invisible [Music] guys anything could be happening just use your imagination that was still too easy so next up all the cars are launched upwards into the air every 10 seconds now my goal is to make sure that whenever the boost happens i'm gonna land back in a position [Music] where i can get back into the race let's try 40. [Music] we'll do 20. okay and we're live now that's actually a really good start for me i'll take a boost right now yeah look at this that guy's gonna get screwed he's gonna land on his back me looking beautiful i don't have a good sense of 20 seconds that's like 10 9 8 7 6. 5 4. did i hit the checkpoint hit the checkpoint holy [ __ ] i'm still in it where are they okay they're all right here uh okay boost it boost it boost it boost it get the boost now then i can use power on the end [ __ ] palm trees please no please no please no please no please don't please no i'm first up first up first let's go that was sick oh sorry franklin i know we've had a lot of exciting moments on this stream but i think we're almost at two next up every single pedestrian who's just hanging around on the street will be given a rocket launcher and forced to attack you but fortunately they have really bad aim here we go here we go are these guys gonna shoot oh oh my god yeah they're shooting are you guys gonna shoot me oh this is awesome they just blow themselves up oh they can't hit me for [ __ ] dude the good news is that i'm not i'm not at risk of losing the dog has a rock these rocket dogs are still too easy so next up is a mod that will kill you if you drive too slowly it's going to track your speed at the bottom of the screen and if you drop below a speed of 50 you will immediately blow up all i have to do is actually play the best gta 5 of my life now the mod is going to activate once you hit your top speed and then the entire challenge is about maintaining speed during the sharp turns you basically have to turn fast enough that you barely slow down but not so fast that you crash into anything which is incredibly hard during a few parts of the track i have to maintain a speed of 50. there we go i just maintained this speed the whole time okay 50 will be hard it's doable it's doable go go go go go oh it dropped a lot there but i'm good oh i went to 50.4 dude i'm going too fast i'm out of control down to 60 okay we're fine [ __ ] i look down at the speed i'm at 50 ah i want a 50. [ __ ] no watch out for that pole doug thanks december stars this turn is like super important this turn is super important still a pretty tight turn but good got excuse me excuse me how the [ __ ] do i do that how do i do that [ __ ] dicks this one's for everybody who said a dog kid [ __ ] [ __ ] [Music] i would never let you down i just have to like super focus at this turn because i have to like i'm hitting accelerate and not at very specific intervals okay coming up on the hardest part start turning here let's go let's go i'm not paying attention my brain it's like my brain wants to stop paying attention i'm like not thinking clearly two more [Music] oh my god let's [ __ ] go that was still too easy so next up is a mod where cows will spawn in front of your car every five seconds and don't worry i made it so the cows are invincible they don't feel a thing oh my god all right we're fine the key is to get in front of them again the cows are invincible they don't feel a thing uh you'll notice the cows were just eating some strawberry jam oh no there's jam all over my car my hope is oh my god that i can get close enough to the other guys the cows will start spraying some raspberry syrup on them too okay okay cows cows help me out help me out [Music] oh my god wait i'm third okay there's a dude way in front of me i actually have to play really well [Music] i don't like this [Music] cows are too easy so take acid and put on thermal goggles oh these races look crazy right now oh i want to throw up oh so does franklin dare i dream of a fabled number a number from myth one now it gets truly hard every second an airplane will spawn in front of you and worst of all it stays there permanently so you have to beat the race before the entire track gets clogged down with airplanes and as twitch chat correctly points out here there are no sharks in this challenge this one is purely about airplanes every one second not sharks it's just airplanes not sharks all right some little ones to start with that's what i want basically as well as long as big ones don't spawn in a group then we should be okay dodging them later on as well like that's an issue time does not slow down for my mod if i'm in slow motion i like do not want to spend time in slow motion i can swerve to reduce the chances that they'll end up in the middle of the street because they're always going to aim in front of where my car is facing so now you're on to lap two and there's a bunch of like small fleshy airplanes here but the main challenge is the big airplanes that are clogging the rest of the road okay don't blow up on me don't blow up on me it looks like we may have hit the plane limit ladies and gentlemen we have packed as many planes as you can fit into a gta 5 world how the [ __ ] do i get through this swerve right through the checkpoint through both planes around oh my god under the front and now we coasted all the way home ladies and gentlemen oh my god no no no no no no no no no no i can't move it i can't no no no no no no no no no [Music] yes i said about one i think it said i passed and you only pass if you win i lapped him yes at this point the street races are still so easy that i lapped the ai and it's safe to say that it's now time for some extreme measures it's time to finally make this truly difficult with every mod at once level 10 mod is active i have 10 seconds until everything activates [Music] well the competition [Music] well i'm proud to say that we finally finally have made the gta 5 street races actually hard and that's it for this tutorial if you want more in-depth educational videos like this one be sure to subscribe this is the stupidest yeah whoa
