Why DougDoug hates answering his emails

hey Doug you need to check your emails I sent in the divorce papers about a week ago and you haven't responded I have discussed this recently but it is unfortunately not a feasible use of my time to reply to all my emails I don't have the time for it unfortunately having an AI reply to my emails is not a great idea that doesn't really solve anything and people will just be talking to a robot and thinking it's me whatever the robot says I just have to deal with the consequences of it Doug could you not hire someone to handle your emails here's the email situation I get every week for like a hundred to 200 emails from people asking me for things they're asking for my time not a random person's time if a person says hey Doug I would really like your advice on how to get started with my my stream or with learning to program or um I just want to say thanks for doing this and I wanted I wanted to ask you a question or I just wanted to send this heartfelt message they're not looking for like a random person to be like hey here I am to give you advice they're they're asking for like me specifically to Give opinions or or response right they're not coming to me as though I am like ask Jeeves and they just need to know the answer to a trivia question while they're watching Jeopardy that's not what's going on they want like specific information or replies from me specifically if a person writes hey man I've been going through a really hard time I've been doing this incredible depression my girlfriend just broke up and I'm trying to get a stream and I just want to let you know how motivational it's been and then somebody replies and goes hey I'm I'm Jerry cool that's great happy for you thanks signed Jerry I don't think that person's gonna be like oh cool glad I emailed Doug or if they pretend to be me then I have no [ __ ] idea who that person was or what happened and then if they reference it later they're like hey thanks for being there for me when I needed when I needed you I'd be like who the [ __ ] are you I don't know who you are it's not just about getting a reply they specifically want my time right just got here why is Doug mad at us I'm not mad I'm just explaining why emails are not something that is easily delegatable oh hey Doug funny seeing you here but since you're here why don't you get another dug to answer your emails so now you're talking just hire somebody to do your streams for you then you can three Nails full time bro good idea or I let an AI email everybody for a year and then after and then one year later I reply to every single email and be like hey just so you know I faked that I faked every email and then we uh we pull a big switcharoo on my viewers that'd be kind of cool hey Doug please help I really want to get into streaming but do not know where to start could you ask Jerry sometimes you guys just want you just want to hear from the guy I made up make a dug dog email that is solely run by an AI all responses are AI generated and you never check it that way everyone is happy I don't know if you know what the word happy Means Doug blink twice a female is holding you against your will I don't have some sort of Vendetta against email if I spend time doing one thing I'm not doing another thing there's a limited amount of time in a day so do you want me to spend five hours of emails a week or get another screaming I could have just not streamed today and done emails all day would do you want that presumably you don't want that a lot of you are saying yes but I don't believe you if I send you real mail will you respond no hey chat can we get an email stream and chat the people deserve to be given advice and we are obviously the most qualified okay here I'm gonna pull up a random email hi I've been watching on YouTube for a couple years and I watched you live for the first time today and I just want to see your videos have been a huge help for me keep it up that's a that's a fairly typical email so what if you guys reply and you're like see he fart Deez Nuts got him I don't feel like that person will be particularly satisfied from the interaction there's people who will like email about like really heavy [ __ ] going on in their life I don't think they're going to be stoked if twitch check hit some of the Deez Nuts joke and then there's no other reply you know what I mean I just I just don't think it's gonna have the emotional impact that you guys think step one set email on fire step two step three profit yeah I print out everything okay what I could do is I set up like a fax machine right here and every email that I get is printed out live the sheet drops down and there's a second camera right next to me that shows it dropping into a shredder that immediately split into shred so you you don't get like I don't read your email and I don't reply to it but you at least see that it was passed through my apartment and then into a shredder that'd be kind of cool please to read my email if you responds I can have my family back oh this is awkward hey Doug since you don't check email I figured I would ask you Doug a question yes go on
