i said not really because i don't know what's going on she says gary listen she said you've been faithful she said you've been a tither she said you've taken care of the bride of god she said why would you worry at a time like this you've been faithful so i want somebody to know the reason why you tithe is so that god himself will send the rebuke and not allow nothing that you have worked for tithe on be rebuked i'm telling you it's rebuked so i want somebody to know today that the importance of tithing is so that god will protect you even in the midst of a pandemic god bless you all today realize you are closer to of that actual communion than you've ever been in your life the bible shared with the children of israel none of these diseases are gonna befall your dwelling i believe that for you i read on yesterday hospitals are at full capacity in tampa in jacksonville florida and i am believing that god is going to keep you out of that hospital i don't care what the variant is i don't care with the disease i don't care what the pain is but i'm grateful that he was wounded for our transgressions bruise for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace is upon his shoulders and by his stripes you are going to be healed from every strand of covet 19. i'm thankful for that i want you to please get that piece of bread i want us to celebrate it together i want you to lift it above your head make sure everybody in your household has it put it in the hand of your children of your grandchildren wake them people up they need this they need this encounter anybody know that the blood still works that there's still power in his body i want you ladies and gentlemen to please please make sure that you have it this week i was in israel and i was amazed as i went to the tomb of our loving lord and savior people were there from all over the world they were bringing sheets hear this from loved ones who were sick and wiping it on the tune because they wanted the residue they were sitting there crying just to be close to be in proximity you didn't hear what i just said there were those who had thrown down their chairs who believed by faith if he got up from the grave that they can get up from anything i need you please to have of that bread to have that pancake to have that potato chip whatever it is that you have i want you to have it in your hand and i want you to break it in your hand the first wave of covet did not kill you 675 000 people didn't survive and yet god hand-picked you why are you scared of what's taking place now i'm believing that god is going to cover you cdc doesn't have all the answers white house doesn't have all the answers but i'm telling you the answer is in your hand because of his body that was broken for sinners like jamal harris and brian i'm believing it was broken for you as well would you please take a knee [Music] my heart is heavy on this morning because the derelict of responsibility from our u.s senate and u.s congress has allowed the moratorium on the freeze of evictions to elapse last night at midnight today there are people who are sitting on the side of their bed stressed out as a matter of fact 11 million people are facing eviction tomorrow did you hear what i just said 11 million people are facing eviction tomorrow while the u.s senate is on vacation while members of congress are floating in resorts and on islands they are families who are putting their belongings in boxes that's a lot of stress this week we saw as i own a super bad superhero simone bios pulled out of the olympics because she said she felt the weight of the world was on her shoulders do you know how many people are stressed out how many people are overwhelmed with anxiety but i'm thankful under god when you feel life's pressures you don't have to go to the cut-rate liquor store when you feel life's pressures you don't have to find yourself inhaling a line or cocaine when you feel life's pressures you don't have to get under somebody to get over something when you feel life's pressures you ain't got to blow your brains out when you feel life's pressures i'm telling you the blood is going to handle all of it for the blood that was shared for you and i would you please take a drink i want to pray for you friends i want you to lift up that hand i want to pray a hedge fence of protection around your family and around your life i'm thankful for the communion i'm thankful for his sacrifice i'm thankful for his love but i want you to hear me and i still want you to get the vaccine i know his power in the blood i know that his body was broken for me but god has also given us reasonable health and strength i want you to get the vaccine and i want you to do it this week lift up that hand right where it is that you are all day all night i assign the angels to watch over you all day all night that god is not going to let anybody contaminate your spirit or your life all day all night that you're not gonna breathe in toxins that are detrimental to your breathing all day all night no corrupt racist officer is gonna be able to accost you or your children all day all night god is gonna keep karen's out of your business all day and all night goodness and mercy are gonna follow you and i believe it to be so in jesus name those of you who are thankful for his grace for his love and for his covering would you give god praise and thanksgiving even now god loves a cheerful giver at the end of this month we're going to be doing demonstration sunday together all of us are going to be tithing i want to thank the howards for being transparent and yielding their testimony uh to us today i don't care how old you are it's never too late never too young to start tithing i want to share with you a testimony of a young man who really just convicted me that no matter what stage of life you're in god is still faithful and we are still fruitful watch and see what god is doing even in the life of another generation my name is michael fletcher i'm from columbus ohio and about four years ago i was a junior at oral roberts university i got a call from my mom right before two weeks right before school started letting me know that she would no longer be able to supply me with all the money that i need for oral roberts university which left me with ten thousand dollars in need i was just completely broken completely torn because i wasn't sure how god was going to provide the finances and you know i'm thinking i'm going to be homeless god at that moment in time spoke so clear to me said michael it's going to be okay it's going to be fine just rise up and what do you have you know what do you have in your hands and so i looked at my bank account and i had a thousand dollars and he said to give that all away to the church and i was like uh okay and now school is in session and i'm trying to figure out how in the world am i going to stay at oral roberts university do i continue to go to classes do i continue to take the test and god told me to act as if you already have the money and so that's what i did i acted as if i already had the money three days before the absolute final deadline before i had to turn in all the money before i got kicked out of orleans university i got a call from my grandma she asked me a question she said michael how much money do you need and i told her ten thousand dollars and she didn't say nothing for a couple seconds and it was just a little awkward pause and she was like okay it's like it's done i'll provide the money that you need not only will i provide the money that you need but i will also provide a thousand dollars to cover books to cover school supplies cover whatever else you need it was just such a big relief to me that all the money was supplied i have to worry about nothing ever since then you know i've always tired i always continue to tithe i learn faithfulness faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen and to not see in the natural but see in the supernatural see what god is doing act as if you already have that blessing that you are praying for bless the lord you can't beat god's giving no matter how hard you try i wonder if there's anybody in this room who saw god pay it hear this at the last minute come on how many of you all know he's an on-time god the amazing marvelous thing about that testimony is not just that he got the money for tuition but i want you to hear what he said at the end he said i'm gonna pay all of that and then i'm gonna give you a thousand dollars don't forget that's what god initially asked him for is that if you give unto me i'm telling you not only am i going to give that but i'm going to give 10 times that and that is the heartbeat of god that god loves a cheerful giver but every time you give to god can you imagine god feels threatened i better say that again whenever you give to god god feels challenged says you've given that you think i'm not going to outdo you i got to show you that i am god i can't tell you just within the last five days how many outpouring of emails and phone calls that i've received from students who are saying i'm not sure how it is that i'm gonna go back can't tell you how it is that we're preparing ourselves in prayer and directed resources for of those in our community who are facing evictions this week but the thing that i know that in this pandemic we have still prospered in this pandemic my testimony is unwavering that i've never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread i want you to go in your bibles to genesis chapter one i want you to go in your bibles to genesis chapter one and i want to show you something that is a marvel to me genesis chapter 1 is just one verse verse 26 i believe is where it's encased genesis chapter 1 and in that text he says something amazing i had never paid attention to before this week he says the lord does to adam i am giving you seeds for the trees i'm giving you seeds here it is for the bushels giving you seeds for the crops all this time because i just walked through the text i didn't pay attention to the fact that god in fact put the stars in the sky he put creeping things crawling things flying things hear this but he was waiting for adam to plant the seed so that the garden could look like what it was supposed to have and he says to adam based off of your seed is how you're going to eat did you all just miss what i just said to you based on your seed is how you are going to eat as a believer don't you ever say i don't know how i'm going to make it or if i'm going to make it your seed is going to provide the resource for every single one of you you have no idea what pink slip may be waiting for you tomorrow you have no idea what notification could be coming from the irish tomorrow you have no idea what moratorium will be elapsed on tomorrow but what i do know is what you do today is going to set up your crop for tomorrow we are tithing together as a family as a community non-tithers backslidden tithers of those who are uh behind the end tithing we're gonna get on track this month because i don't want the harvest to just hit my house i want the harvest to hit the house of every person connected to me do me a favor be silent unless you are a tither if you are a tither i want you to make no come on you only shouting cause you see your harvest coming you only making noise because you believe better days are ahead you only given him glory because you know i am not going to struggle this month he is going to supply all of my needs i want you to partner with us all of our giving prompts are available to you on the lower part of our screen whether you're giving it by zell whether you're giving through giveaway or text to give whether you're mailing it to the church i don't want you to pause i don't want you to deliberate in the midst of a pandemic in the midst of a financial crisis we're still doing the work of ministry uh did you all hear what i just said we're still doing up the work of ministry of this week while it is that 11 million people are facing foreclosure guess what y'all the king's table is still going to be open at new birth y'all ain't celebrating good they don't have to be members of our church if they pull up on our campus we're gonna load their car with food pastor turner told me this week we've got 1 000. i need y'all to hear this y'all better tear this studio up we've got 1 000 tablets for students in atlanta who don't have access to computers or y'all ought to be shouting about it one i didn't say 100 i didn't say one 1 000 for those whose families are financially challenged and otherwise wouldn't have access to it uh in just two saturdays from now we're gonna be blessing young people not just with back to school supplies but with tablets so that they might be able to compete on a global stage i'm telling you if you don't go to new birth something is wrong with you uh the glory of god shines high and bright in this place and i am excited about it i i'm starting a new series today called i can't afford it i can't afford it that god is getting ready to unleash two believers a capital credit and contracts you just missed the prophecy over your life god is releasing to believers better credit am i talking to anybody better credit i got the wrong people here better credit some of y'all ought to shout the biggest contract of your life is coming to you this month i need you to do me a favor every person who you know who is industrious every person who is striving every person who's trying to make some moves every person you know who's feeling restless in their prison economic condition i need them to hear this word is going to reshape their life and reshape their thinking the music ministry is going to prepare our hearts our spirits and our minds i need you when they have concluded to have a bible open and a notebook available because there are some principles that i want to share with you that i think are going to bless your life and are going to blow your mind get ready for the word of god for those of invited me uh to be the nativity day uh preacher for uh the holy land next christmas 2022 it'll be broadcast all over uh the middle eastern region and uh he said i don't want you to just come but i and then went away you may be seated i want to preach today uh using as a subject a message to the middle class a message to the middle class while the world's watching the olympics in tokyo the gladiators of past games have been celebrated on the silver screen people are remembering with fond recollection muhammad ali lighting the torch it's been underscored that michael jordan is one of the greatest athletes of all times the price of mary lou written on the wheaties box has gone up on ebay the athlete known formally as bruce jenner is even raising funds to run for governor of california however there's a name that you probably are not familiar with who's associated with the olympics and her name is shirley babisoff shirley babisoff she made her acclaim as a swimmer in the 1976 olympic games that was held in montreal canada her father being a swimming coach made it easy to believe her stride and her discipline well you probably don't know is that shirley babisoff lives in anonymity because she holds the record of the most silver medals shelley babbles off more than anybody else in olympic history has won the most silver medals with six in her collection while that is noble and commendable we live in a culture where second place is never celebrated today she lives in orange county california as a letter carrier not in any way to suggest that that's menial but in contrast to those who won gold all of them are firmly in millionaire status dr benjamin elijah mays posed a critical question why run a race just to come in second place and i want to say to you no matter where it is that you're watching i've got to ask you a critical question do you really believe you were destined to be second do you believe you are ordained just to get the silver do you think that god hewned you into the earth to be a runner up however in the olympics of economics our community seems to be focused on not being first this is the largest class of black middle class in our history in the social hierarchy the terminology asserts one's income education occupation or social status being middle class is a badge and a boast of pride for those who are living above the poverty line but beneath the aristocratic circle we are african americans 12 percent of the u.s population but only 13 of those who are actually in the middle class the average net worth j for white families is 171 000 but for black people it's 17 000. i better give that to you again i think i went too fast the average net worth for people in our community is a hundred and seventy one thousand but for uh those in our community is just seventeen thousand so even those who are making money even those of you who make good money you are not middle class because you don't save it you don't invest it the problem is you are not middle class but you are living a middle class lifestyle without a middle class reality you dress like it you eat out like it you drive like it you vacation like it but you ain't got it so for the sake of the mirage you have cultivated in the desert of your subconscious today i'm going to give you honorary status if it makes you feel better that you were middle class i don't know how you've reconciled it that you're middle class and paying rent middle class and you're driving on a lease middle class and you got a charge on a restricted debit card but you think you're middle class so let's stick with that hang on to it as long as you can before i go on i've got to ask you a question that i am afraid nobody the gall to ask you what i've got to ask you is what made you satisfied at second do you think your grace is for the middle do you think you are anointed for average in case you lost it tyler perry kanye west and lebron james became billionaires in the pandemic i think i've lost you i better give it to you again tyler perry kanye west and lebron james became billionaires in the middle of a global pandemic before you chi are too loud i need you to know there are only 5 000 jobs in sports they're only 5 000 jobs in entertainment but they are 48 million negroes so if you can't sing if you can't act if you cannot play an instrument if you cannot rap is there still room for you to get wealth something is wrong when you think that the glory of god on your life is just to survive poverty getting out of poverty is not enough i need you to lay hands on yourself because i regret because we came out of generational brokenness you never knew how to speak it over your life i need you to lay hands on yourself and declare out loud there's a millionaire trapped inside of me now so some of y'all can't pronounce it because you're intimidated at the possibility of wealth and i'm not talking about you getting over i'm not talking about your ponzi scheme i'm not talking about the pyramid i'm talking about by the sweat of your brow and the grace on your back i need you to lay hands on yourself and declare to the universe there's a millionaire trapped inside of me only five of y'all in this room are getting it i hope 5 000 of y'all are getting this online would you shout it until the banking institutions hear you until the reality heals you y'all ain't saying nothing until your credit company hears you would you shout out loud to your unborn grandchildren wake up in your bosom and declare out loud there's a millionaire trapped inside of me you cannot get satisfied with silver can't get satisfied with silver this week while i was in israel i had the opportunity to spend some time with two billionaires i want to give you three bullets that i got from two billionaires three bullets that i got from two billionaires i want you to write these down i want your family to discuss them i need you to meditate and reflect on them throughout the course of this week of course of this month of course of your life number one here it is don't look the part when you can't play the role i want you to write that down please don't look the part when you can't play the role we were raised since eighth grade graduation to believe you got a dress to impress and so we learned how to put on louboutins and louis vuitton but nobody ever taught you how to put on the whole arm of god i want to say this to you do not have more shoes than you have books i didn't expect y'all to shout over that i better say it again do not have more shoes than you have books i'm challenging you today is august 1st to put yourself on a shopping fast food ain't your problem sometimes you work so hard you don't even remember whether you ate or not i want you to put yourself on a 40-day shopping fast you don't got quiet there's tomatoes coming at me in every direction i was with two billionaires this week hear me i'm with two billionaires this week and uh had they walked in the room you would have no clue no indication of how much money they have shoes didn't look like nothing shirts didn't look like nothing devon the only expensive thing they had on was watches why because they knew the value of investing in time and many of you are dressed with the wrong thing because you don't know how to maximize your time i heard a through college retiring comfortably leaving an inheritance what is your goal many people who chase money never have a goal to chase so they keep looking for fast money and end up with a slow stop when you have goals you don't bow to gold when you have goals you do not bow to gold i wish i could bring in for you today them three hebrew boys shadrach meshach and abednego when king nebuchadnezzar utterly amazed when jeff bezos returned back from his first outer space mission and when he landed he decided to give van jones a hundred million dollars he gave van jones a hundred million dollars with the caveat he can spend it how he likes god i i want to know um i want to know can god trust you with being a millionaire so he gave he gave it to van jones because he knew what van jones was doing for those who were trying to re-enter from being flushed in the prison pipeline he knew that van jones's mind wasn't on a maybach or bentley but it was about empowering and equipping people can god trust you with the money that it won't just be for you but that you're gonna make a difference in the community and in the world that it ain't just gonna be for those who live under your roof but it's going to be a blessing to people who you never met before that will say there is a blessed person that understand that the blessings of the lord maketh rich and add no sorrow to it and all this week on social media people been cheering and ranting about jeff bezos giving van jones a hundred million i was impressed until i read what jeff bezos wife gave jeff bezos gave 100 million uh but bezos's wife gave 2 billion she gave 2 billion and she says i'm not giving it to individuals i'm giving it to institutions i'm giving it y'all not saying nothing to me to black colleges because i understand that when god blesses me it's got to be something bigger than me and some of y'all will never get blessed because you want to be the only one blessed but i want to know if there's anybody that says god why you blessing me bless my church while you're blessing me bless the ministry while you're blessing me bless the school i graduated from why you're blessing me bless those who are trying to do something for other people stop being selfish god can't trust you but can god trust you to be a blessing to be a blessing to be a blessing to be a blessing to be a blessing to be a what he does isn't it amazing that the bible tells us that uh luke is a physician that the bible shares with us that zacchaeus was a tax collector but when they described joseph of air matteo it never gives us his job description all it says is joseph is wealthy i'm getting ready to bless somebody please don't knock over who's sitting next to you today he says joseph is wealthy see a lot of people treat you based off of what you tell them you do so when they meet you they want to know what your occupation is but in luke chapter 27 we never find out what joseph of amateur's job is it is just a description of what he has that he is wealthy in other words luke says to us that joseph makes money i need you to look at the person beside you and just ask them what do you do what do you do come on look at him ask him what do you do and i want you to answer them i make money come on i need you to speak with authority my money makes money i'm making money while i'm sleep i can't hear nobody i got mailbox money i got money coming in for a job i don't even work no more money is attracted to me money is trying to find me right now money is getting ready to be my friend god is getting ready to bless me with uncanny wealth he's making money on top of money god help me i need somebody to just declare out loud for the rest of this year come on say it out loud for the rest of this year my money is going to be making money i got the wrong crowd y'all sound like y'all good just being middle class but those of y'all that believe you gonna crack this glass ceiling i need you to shout out my want influence come on i need you to say it out loud i want influence if one of my nieces or nephews about to be put out to school i'ma call up there tell them it's me on the fall i need to have everything i gave to him it's coming back to me and the return is just gonna be in three days some of y'all are not be shouting but every tither you ought to be excited that everything i gave to god
