I have spent dozens of hours blasting bugs figuring out just what makes termined tick so that I can teach you how to become an absolute termined Terminator capable of two- shotting biot Titans and trivializing Chargers welcome to the hell diaper handbook I've got all the best strategies for wiping out these creepy crawlies where their weak spots are some of which will definitely surprise you what strategems and weapons you should be prioritizing in your load outs and more so make sure to stick around to the end I promise you'll learn more from here than any other enemy type video because will be covering all enemy variants and attacks many of which people manage to Omit by the end of this video you'll be a true hell diver reigning democracy down on the lowliest of terminate scavengers and Almighty bile Titans alike let's make superar proud and Dive Right In we're going to start with the little guys first and work our way up but I won't spend much time at the bottom as killing them really isn't rocket science first is the scavenger Trio with the Baseline scavenger being pretty well next to useless only possessing a weak melee attack that when you're being swarmed can be annoying but in normal circumstances just give him two shots with just about any AR or SMG anywhere on their feeble little body and they'll drop what is important to think about with regards to these more meager enemies is ammo conservation as I find a lot of people will just unload their mag on trash Bobs draining what is often truly precious ammo when you start doing heal TI difficulty runs and even more so with strategy coold down modifiers applied so make a point of learning exactly how many shots each scavenger takes to kill with the weapons you're using and make a habit of only firing exactly that many bullets to take them out of the game similarly not using your powerful support weapons like the rail gun to kill them if you can avoid it our second scavenger is the bile spitter which is equally easy to kill but it is a significantly greater threat if it's able to hit you with its bile spit attack this will slow you for 3 seconds and deal a small amount of damage but God damn that slow lasts for what can feel like an eternity and can easily spell death for you when you're being actively swarmed by other more threatening terminats either knock these guys out early on into a fight when you see them if you have the bandwidth to toss a few shots their way or at least actively keep note of where they are and apply evasive Maneuvers to dodge the bile shot if you're not going to be killing them immediately if you are unlucky enough to be hit by them and you really need to Huff it to create space between a swarm chasing you then just keep dolphin diving until the slow wears off you can still create some space that way I no longer have the fingers to count the times I've died specifically because I've been slowed by one of these little Rats the final scavenger is the hopper which is a baby version of the more powerful Hunters these guys also aren't a major threat in terms of damage but they can be annoying as they can jump fairly far and get up in your grill so give them a couple up Taps like any of the other scavengers and just let the bodies hit the floor with all scavengers and honestly almost any non- Apex tier enemy that being the bile Titan Chargers and stalkers you'll surely have noticed these little freaks letting out their little battle rally farts and burps that Trigger Bug breaches and turn your peaceful missions into a potentially inescapable hellscape as wave after wave a bug swarm you once the breaches begin for the most part it's usually these little guys who are going to be getting the breach part off and so when you see them getting ready to do it you have literally less than 2 seconds in most cases to stop them before successfully called higher tier bugs seem to be capable of this as well so you always need to be on your toes ready to take out the bug that's calling in the Cavalry when you're working with a team or even solo you'll want to do your best to either completely avoid patrols while moving to objectives or if you're going to engage it then do so in sync with your team and wipe them out as fast as possible to minimize the chance of a breach being triggered there are also many cases where a bug breach that's triggered by a patrol is not actually worth engaging with at all and you should instead just book it and continue on Ward towards your objective possibly throwing one or two orbitals behind you or priming a Sentry to slow the Swarm down enough that you can run far away enough to deago them rather than wasting time and resources on bugs that aren't going to reward you with anything anyways assuming you have no Apex to your enemies chasing you there's a good chance you'll be able to outrun any other swarm if you give it some time next up we've got the three Warriors the first can be found to any difficulty and they're pretty much a baby brood Commander they have a reasonably strong melee attack so do keep your distance Warriors are weak in both the head and legs and won't take many shots to kill if your shots are connecting typically one shotgun shell is enough when hitting the head however if you blow their head off you'll put the warrior into an enraged State during the enrage the warrior will run towards you and attack faster for a couple seconds before finally dying which can easily kill you if you blow their brains out too close to you now a lot of people recommend hitting the legs instead as it will the warrior and prevent the enrage state from taking place but I'm actually going to advise against this and say keep hitting the head mainly because the enrage state is actually only triggered if you don't do enough damage to fully stop it in its track for example a rail gun shot to the head on any Warrior will always instantly kill it while a shot to the legs will not similarly shooting a couple extra rounds to the Head after it's blown off with a rifle will also drop it immediately this will either take an equivalent or lower amount of ammo compared to leg hitting and it's just way more consistent than hitting one leg than counting on being accurate enough to hit hit the second the final alternative and I think this is a good middle ground is that you should knock off one leg and then the head but generally I think going for two legs is the worst means of tackling Warriors another interesting battle mechanic that Warriors possess though uncommon is that they can burrow and end up right beside you but it's hard to say when they'll actually perform this the only times I've consistently seen it happen is when I put myself out of reach on Higher Ground so it could be a matter of distance or after a certain amount of time passes without them being able to attack you that's what could be triggering it so just be wary of this if you're holding some high ground or you might be in for an unwelcome surprise Warrior 2 is the bow Warrior which you'll find at hard difficulty or higher and you'll be able to tell it's a bile Warrior if they have a pule covered underbelly the difference between these and a standard Warrior is that they'll create a small bile explosion when you kill them that can do some Hefty damage usually equal to more than half your HP bar and slow you down if you're reasonably close to them when they blow if you're aiming for the head your first shot after blowing off their head will trigger this explosion expion so you will actually need to be more careful going for head shot against these guys their health pull seems to be pretty much identical otherwise to standard Warriors it's just the added explosion you'll want to be conscious of when being swarmed this does make for a better case of blowing off their legs in close quarters situation our final Warrior is the Sentinel guard which is our first bug to have any significant armor to protect it now the other Warriors do occasionally have bullets reflect off of them but it's pretty infrequent assuming you're aiming for the correct weak point so I'd say it's negligible with Sentinel guards the rail gun shot to the Head will dispatch it instantly however most weapons are not able to penetrate its armor you can however use the Liberator penetrator to crack through their armor as it does have medium armor penetration thus indicating that it's medium armor on the Sentinels I wouldn't call these a major threat compared to other enemies though they can buckle down into a defensive stance making their weak spots much harder to hit and acting as a shield between you and any terminats behind them that could be higher priority if you're clean shot you can aim between their sh shielded section in their legs for some exposed flesh or you can take a more direct approach and toss a nade at them or blow them to bits using any other explosive type weapon to blast them if you've got a buddy who can flank them and hit them from the sides or the rear then they'll go down easy a final note for Sentinels is that they do not have an enrage mode so once it's taken lethal damage it's going down moving into more dangerous territory we've got the hunters these are fast moving relatively strong foes that can quickly overwhelm you especially at higher difficulties in large numbers you'll always want to try and take these guys out early into a battle if possible as they can and will keep up with you if you're doing anything less than beining it the hell away from a swarm even worse at higher difficulties on anything challenging and above they will slow you for a couple seconds anytime you're hit by their tongue attack when that lands you're probably screwed to be honest so just dolphin dive and pray that your spray takes out enough surrounding foes that you can get back up again and start huffing it Hunters are also unique in that they actively try to dodge your attacks often sidest stepping in the pursuit of you if you're laying down fight fire on them given how many Hunters often spawn during bug breaches combined with their movement speed attack speed and damage these guys can be some of the most frustrating enemies to deal with aside from the Apex gear tournament thankfully they used all their skill points investing into offense leaving them with next to zero defense and a tiny Health pool so a few bullets from any weapon will be enough to wipe them out as your one Saving Grace against the hunter family staying on theme with assassin type enemies let's talk about one of the most despised terent terrors in the game the stalker no one likes being followed around by a creep and these guys are experts in that category stalkers are the ultimate Hunter Evolution they move extremely fast have stealth will attack non-stop once they get within Striking Distance or they'll show you what that tongue do and launch your rag doll ass 30 ft while knocking off half your HP as you desperately struggle to get up and fight back there're also massive babies that will Retreat sometimes with 100t step back if you do enough damage to them just to run back and give you that fatal smack on the ass why are you running these are even higher priority to take out than the generic Hunters because cuz if they're getting close enough to attack you then you'd better pray that you can unload your clip fast enough to take them down or that their tongue attack launches you in a favorable enough direction to survive to fight another day they have a much higher Health pool than standard Hunters sometimes taking more than 2/3 of a normal weapon clip to take down aim for their head or front legs and pray they die or grab a rail gun to one tap it or another strong support weapon and they should go down in a couple seconds Pro tip is that if you ever see a stalker on your map it means you must be close to a stalker layer which is the source of all stalkers on your current Mission find that Nest Huck a grenade down that hole or lay some explosive fire on it to blow it up and you'll be rid of these big bug bastards for the rest of the mission most of the time there's just one soccer Nest but there are uncommon situations where you will have two to deal with in the name of democracy and highquality research back gaming content hit that subscribe button hell diver the final of the more scavenger and Hunter esque looking Critters is The Brood Commander while the big kahunas like the charger and bile Titan are obvious threats I think there's a strong argument for these actually being your number one priority in a fight not only are they still strong enemies but they can also directly call their own form of bug breaches into the frey almost immediately pulling up enemies with them when they do this special call and calling a full breach if they do their little signal Bo I've heard people even say that they are in fact the ones responsible for bringing bile Titans in during bug breaches though I haven't been able to confirm this despite numerous tests currently I've been able to observe multiple bug breaches called by a brood Commander where a bile Titan subsequently spawns but I haven't paid enough attention to see if a non brood Commander called Bug breach has done the same if you've witnessed this outside of an extraction or the kill X terminat missions where things just naturally spawn specifically from a bug breach then let everyone know in the comments if it instead ends up being that brood commanders are the sole reason for bile Titan spawns during bug breaches then this is an extremely compelling reason to wipe them out immediately when you see them and raises their Threat Level level tremendously in terms of weak spots the legs and head are fair game just like the Warriors though this time taking off their head with a standard rifle will be harder to do as their enrage phase lasts longer and doing enough damage to stop them dead in their tracks is usually difficult without using a rail gun or Auto Cannon instead if you're using regular ammo you're going to be better off going for the two front legs which in many cases will let them slowly crawl towards you but will make them harmless enough when you deliver that final blow at least a final thing to watch out for is that while they're generally slower than the hunters they do have their own type of charge attack that can close the gap between you and them pretty quickly and if you get hit by it you will take a significant amount of damage potentially being one- shot if you get hit right into a wall overall these guys can be tough to deal with given their large size increased health and damage especially in the heat of a large swarm our next big bug is the sluggish yet deadly bile spew which is a much bigger threat than many people give them credit for if their bile spew attack hits you dead on you'll suffer a fake worse than the PO squirrel and Hot Tub Time Machine seriously this will almost always insta kill you if you get hit for even about half a second by the death barf the tracking is reasonably strong too so even running completely perpendicular to them at top speed isn't always going to be enough so if you see them rearing to hurl chunks at you then I suggest you get ready to dolphin dive out of the way immediately L you end up a gooey mess on the ground The Shield generator pack is actually an incredibly op strategy to run if you find yourself frequently dying to the spewers as it doesn't seem to lose charge when being hit by the barf or at least it depletes The Shield incredibly slowly this could be a bug though honestly and it may be patched in the future in terms of killing these big booty bugs their weak spot surprisingly isn't that massive dumper as many would think instead you want to dump your Megs straight into their face and they'll actually go down pretty quick taking around a dozen bullets with an SMG or one clean shot between the eyes with a strong support weapon or shotgun now the ones you've encountered that only shoot bile sprays or give you little love bites are the yellow nursing Spears which are not quite grown up versions of the true bile Speers the fully grown Speers are supposedly found on suicide difficulty and higher and these are the ones that can also rein hell from above when they go into mortar mode on top of having additional armor now I actually think the real distinction is instead that you must be playing on a planet that has green bile variant bugs in general for those to show up as I always see them in conjunction with the little green bile spitter scavengers and the green bellied explosive bile Warriors and that suicide difficulty may not be a hard requirement I can't exactly remember but I'm pretty sure I've seen these at earlier difficulties maybe some of you can let me know in the comments what difficulties you've seen them at as well the range on these mortars is pretty damn far and if you're not paying attention to the bile spewer itself or the projectiles they're firing there's a good chance you'll have a pile of explosive goo landing on your head at some point during your mission if they're present if you're constantly on the Move these are lower priority but if you're trying to hold a specific piece of ground then you'll want to consider sending some fire their way as they can get very overwhelming once you have more than three of these guys hurling goop your way a very important note is that these more heavily armored bile Spears cannot be head shot with standard ARS you need higher armor penetration to take them down with ideally explosive support weapons or the rail gun or an equally powerful strategy the arrow is actually not a terrible weapon to use in this case against them considering their armor second last on the list and debatably actually number one most annoying and highest kill comp termined is the dreaded charger big Rhino bull like son of a is the bane of most hell divers existence as they have absolutely no chill when it comes to running you down and ramming their horn right up your hell hole Chargers are very fast and if they're aggroed on you they will chase you to the ends of the Earth you're going to have to channel your inner Matador and have it Ram its head into a hard surface to stun it for a couple seconds or run exactly perpendicular to it as it approaches dolphin diving were necessary to avoid it when it's close they can turn and resume chasing you way faster than you'd expect so get ready to keep running because of their heavy armor it may seem hopeless to kill it with normal weapons and well that's pretty much true unfortunately thankfully there are means of taking these guys out relatively easily especially with good team communication with the right weapons while their exposed ass seems like a reasonable Target it's often much harder to hit than you think you don't actually seem to do any increased damage hitting them from behind instead you're going to want to blow off the armor on any of their legs preferably a front leg in my opinion to explose the weak flesh underneath call out to your team members which one you're focusing on to conserve ammo when doing this unfortunately a real gun is really the only weapon that can reliably expose this flesh with weapons like the grenade launcher and autoc Cannon simply bouncing off the thick armor which is really unfortunate now if you don't have a real gun then Ash Hots with whatever weapon you have is still a viable strategy it's just not optimal you can also hit it with an arc thrower or you can use a flamethrower that's pointed right at one of its legs to take it down but it's is again not an ideal weapon to use to kill them honestly with a rail gun usually two well- aimed charge shots to a leg will explose the flesh then just dump a MAG from your primary or another one to two rail gun shots into that exposed leg and it'll go down what's nice is that every time you land a well charged rail gun shot you'll slightly stagger the charger making it easier to dodge them and to line up the following shot even more so when doing this with a fellow hell diver alternatively you can do the same by hitting a charger in the head and it'll blow off after three to four shots but for some reason I've had worse results with the Staggering so it's hard to say which is best as this method is tougher to execute but can require less shots if done perfectly if you go the head route however you'll have to commit to the rail gun but you can't finish it off with a primary so if you want help from a teammate they're going to have to have a rail gun too it's honestly a ridiculous amount of resources to kill one though and I personally think they're a little overtuned at the moment but hey this is the best we've got for now if you aren't a great shot you can always still aim for the rest of its body if if you've got a rail gun as your shots will chip off its armor progressively if you're coming down in your hellot on a respawn you can almost always one-hot a charger with a direct impact too if you've noticed that the Charger looks like it's bleeding out there's a good chance it actually is now the time it'll take for a charger to actually bleed out is incredibly unpredictable you'll know that it's in its bleeding state if you see it spewing green blood out of its sides but I've seen it take more than 3 minutes for this to happen and sometimes I've seen it take less than 30 seconds personally I wouldn't Bank on it bleeding out until it dies just consider it extra damage over time and kill it as you normally would it's also worth noting that there's a charger variant called the Behemoth charger that looks more menacing but it has exactly the same Health pool so killing strategy remains unchanged here a final neat thing about Chargers that most people don't know is that if you're killing bug hives that if a charger Rams into a bug hole it will kill it this can be handy for Hive killing if you're out of explosives but it's way easier said than done this is a good time to mention a tip for killing hives in in general as well both the grenade launcher and autoc Cannon or any support weapon with explosives damage for that matter is capable of blowing up bug Nest though the former have much better ammo capacity for making this feasible with a well-coordinated team you can take out an entire large nest in a few seconds as long as one person has an autoc Cannon or grenade launcher on them to cover most holes the orbital laser works well too and can kill Nest holes despite not saying it's explosive though it's actually not able to directly Target the holes it instead has to Target terminates coming out of the holes which makes it a little bit finicky so you can drop your laser down and then run by the holes to force spawn terminants out of it and then your laser will progressively move to each hole assuming they've only just come out of it and are still close enough for the laser to blow it up hopefully this gets a patch where it can prioritize the holes themselves like it does for the automatons where it prios the large structures like Fabricators and turrets but maybe that would be too op and maybe it's wishful thinking and finally we've made it to the ultimate big bad the bile Titan these guys can be an absolute Menace when you're within spitting distance of them literally and even from far away they can still pose a massive threat they have two types of attacks the first being a melee attack where any of their four impalement capable limbs can stomp down on you and almost always One-Shot you additionally it feels like being generally around them and underneath them while they're walking can sometimes cause your character to take damage or get ragal if you make contact with them even if they're not actively attacking you their second attack is a much bigger threat and that's their bile spitting charge where they'll open their mouth for a few seconds before launching a giant spray of bile similar to the nursing Spears at your character this has an extremely long range is a wide cast ability and it lasts a good few seconds so you need to be in cover or really huffing it perpendicular to the shot if you want to have any hope of dodging it if you're hit by it you'll be slowed take some serious damage and you're in trouble if any enemies were nearby you at the time who could finish you off now in terms of killing this terrifying termined your best bet is always going to be just having a heavy payload orbital to drop down on it and praying it's one that's strong enough to take it down in one Fell Swoop the 500 kilo Eagle is my personal favorite as it has the highest success rate for one-shotting bile Titans of any strategy I've used and if you're smart about leading your orbital placement and having the Titan walk over the strike zone right when the payload is delivered then you'll be sending bile Titan chunks across the map no problem solid Alternatives include the orbital laser which can take a Titan down if the entirety of the laser is directly hitting it while an orbital rail Cannon can do immense but not quite lethal damage to a biot Titan in most cases anything other than these three orbitals will usually not have enough strength to single-handedly take a Titan down but it can make it possible to finish it off with your support weapons with much more ease in terms of weak points there are two distinct spots one being the obvious bioxs on the bile Titan's underbelly which is relatively easy to hit with explosives and bullets alike and bursting these will will do a large chunk of damage but more importantly disable the bile Titan's ability to spit bile now be warned when you do this it will of course only have melee attacks left in its Arsenal so expect it to relentlessly chase you once those sacks are popped this may not be ideal in many circumstances the alternative is instead to shoot directly at the lower jaw of the bile Titans ideally when it's priming its bile attack for the best chance of hitting it while it's stationary hitting in that lower jaw especially with a rail gun can make it possible to take it down in as little as two perfectly aimed hits I'm pretty sure I've done it in one a few times but I'm not sure if it had already taken some significant team damage at that point my buddies and I along with a ton of other people have noticed that it feels incredibly inconsistent at times however as sometimes they'll go down without a hitch taking only those two well- aimed shots and other times it feels like it's taking seven to nine shots when we shoot the exact same spot I want to believe there aren't different Health pools for biot Titans to spawn from as I've heard many spec speculate this and I've even thought the same at times but instead believe that this might just be the rail gun shots not actually Landing where we think they are when the game registers the hit the game may be interpreting what we saw on our screen as a hit right to the jaw as a hit just below that or just above it instead in any case for the most consistent results you're just going to want to not shoot the top of the head but instead aim for that lower jaw doing this I feel like I get way more two Taps and sometimes even those one Taps if you don't have a good shot because their head isn't in your line of sight a shot in the ass is still better than nothing so dish out what you can anytime there's a good opening to hit either weak spot you might get lucky and their rear end will just blow right off and they'll hit the ground I feel like sometimes I get lucky and one good shot to the rear ends up just dropping them despite their obviously lethal presence I'd still say they're not top of the list for me in terms of Threat Level if they're actively pursuing you obviously take cover where necessary but focusing on enemies like brood commanders Chargers stalkers and and Hunters are more immediate threats that could either spawn more enemies or kill you right then and there a lot of people's immediate reactions when they see a bile Titan spawn is to just start hucking orbitals at it right away but if you're playing in a team scenario with comms it's probably better for somebody to call out that they're going to take that biot Titan out so that you're not all throwing orbitals on the same biot Titan and can instead conserve those resources for killing other terminats on the battlefield we mentioned this with the Chargers briefly but if you're Kia and need to drop a new hell diver into battle have your teammate throw your respawn on top of the biggest threat on the map and steer that pod right into it to take it down you can take down a bile Titan from full health if you hit it just right sometimes word of warning though you may be dying immediately after this if you're dropping into a large clump of enemies so now that we've talked about all the terminats and their variance themselves let's quickly go over some optimized loadouts for maximizing your kills against the terminats in terms of weapons there are really only two primaries I can recommend in good conscience and that's the SMG 37 defend and the SG 225 breaker I think they're just Miles Ahead in terms of Effectiveness compared to any of the other weapons in the game there are some Niche use cases for weapons like the Liberator penetrator or the slugger but given either the smaller ammo capacity and low damage per shot on the Liberator and the terrible fire rate and ammo capacity of the Slugger I just think they're not viable to run considering the quantities of enemies you fight when it's against the bugs if you really need a bigger punch you're going to want to save that for your support weapon for secondary weapon the p19 Redeemer is just absolutely disgusting there's no reason to ever run any other secondary in my opinion it's so good grenades are definitely personal preference but I would always run the g12 over the frag even though it's got a longer fuse time the damage increase is totally worth it impact grenades are more of a matter of preference I don't like not being able to use my grenades when lots of bugs are up in my grill and you'll for sure be insta- killing yourself if you throw a grenade in a scenario like that as for strategems there are quite a few good options here I think the most important thing is having team diversity realistically you could actually have somebody run a machine gun or a stalwart so that you can clear out some of the smaller bugs more quickly while other members on your team carry either a rail gun autoc Cannon or grenade launcher so that you can either clear bug hives very quickly or having a rail gun which excels in pretty much every role other than destroying bug hives the spear is pretty terrible in my opinion it can kill bile Titans and it can kill Chargers but it is just not worth running in comparison to the other weapons flamethrower is situational it's okay but it's not that good and the last weapon that is probably semi viable I would say is the ark thrower it's a little bit weird to get used to but it can be effective it's not my cup of tea though you'd have to try it out for yourself in terms of eagles and orbitals the orbital laser and the orbital rail Cannon are probably the only two orbitals I would actually run but for Eagles I say it's really a matter of preference I think that once you have the expanded weapons based ship module unlocked then running the 500 kilo is definitely a good choice since you're literally doubling the amount of drops that you get with it the rocket pods are solid Napal strike is awesome for Ground Control basically wiping out any of the smaller bugs and even some of the more mediumsized ones if you get the strike right cluster bombs are severely underrated you get four or five uses depending on your ship module which is very nice for clearing at small swats of bugs the one caveat here being it makes your rearming take longer if one of them still has some of it charges up so you're highly incentivized to use all of your Eagles in one big go jump ah hack is pretty ass in my opinion extremely Niche and you give up a lot of potential for a backpack slot but you can put yourself on Higher Ground which is nice in certain scenarios against the bugs for sure now for backpack slots I'd say the guard dog Grover is Far and Away the best offensive choice if not defensive if you want to think best offense is a good defense the laser rifle that it uses is way better than the one that your own character can use it pretty much much never runs out of ammo and it just shreds any bug that gets near you also going through armor it's an excellent choice and know probably rack you up like literally a couple hundred extra kills per match assuming you're getting into the thick of it fighting at all times the true defensive alternative here is going to be the shield generator backpack unfortunately you need to be level 20 to get this similar to the rail gun but man it is so useful against so much of what the bugs throw at you we mentioned how the Speers attacks get negated from this you can also avoid the tongue attacks from both the hunters and the stalkers which is insanely useful for survivability it's really tough to say what's better than the other I'd say they're honestly equal but if you want to play more offensively the guard dog is going to be a better choice if you're running a rail gun or some sort of heavy weapon where you need to be able to line your shot up the shield generator pack will maybe be a little more useful so that you can tank a couple of hits without having your shot go Ary as for sentries they are always useful but I'd say against bugs they're a little more risky especially the mortar sentries just given the nature of how the bugs operate they're always trying to get closer to you for the most part aside from the couple of ranged ones and so your sentries are more likely to end up friendly firing on you or your teammates who are being swarmed by other bugs for that reason the EMS mortar Sentry is probably the best of the bunch considering you know it will slow you but it'll also grind your enemies to a halt without killing you I've got a ton of stuff
