handling determinate bugs on Hell dive difficulty may require some mechanical skill timing and most importantly smart and fast decision-making iing and mechanical skill is something you'll gather over time playing against the bugs but decision making is what I'm here to help you guys with today we're going to be going over a couple of very important tips that will surely make your life a lot easier when dealing with bugs and honestly are pretty much the only tips you'll ever need I use all of these when handling bugs on Hell dive difficulty completely solo but these will apply to group play as as well as when you're able to effectively execute all of these tips you'll be able to handle large swarms of bugs on your own in no time first of all is constantly moving and tactically retreating now I personally recommend aggressively dealing with the terminate but upon engaging With the Enemy you need to understand that you're not in a position to charge towards them or to hold your ground as that's exactly what they want you to do instead upon engaging you need to constantly use the space behind you to maintain a distance between you and the bugs with a light armor set you're able to outrun most of the bugs in the game giving you the ability to maintain a space between you and your enemies trivializing a lot of the fights between you and the bugs which comes the second tip finding the right timings or creating them which by the way all of the tips will tie to one another and they're not particularly independent tips they kind of depend on each other to be effectively applied finding the right timings or creating them is going to be crucial for you to be able to handle large groups of bugs now what do I mean by finding the right timings or creating them say you've got a charger trying to charge you down with lots of reinforcements right behind it and you're equipped with a quazar cannon that can easily deal with this annoying charger but you can't just whip out the quazar cannon at any time and try to shoot down the charger because you may find yourself getting rushed by the bugs so what you've got to do is try to create space and as a result create a proper timing window that will allow you to engage that charger with your quazer Cannon examples of creating that space may be dealing with the reinforcements behind that charger first most notably the hunters so you can give yourself a little bit more time to engage that charger another powerful tool to give yourself a window in this specific example would be to get the charger stunned by forcing it to charge on a rock result in opening up a window for you to kill it off now creating these spaces will happen pretty much in every bug engagement you have but the more you fight certain combinations of bug swarms the more you sub consciously create a pattern for dealing with them just keep in mind to try to constantly create space and you'll find yourself dominating large groups of bugs in no time once again tying to both of those tips comes the priority killing I've seen a couple of game plays of Hell divers dealing with large groups of bugs but a lot of the times the hell divers will just try to lay down fire onto the largest groups of bugs as to attempt to kill as many bugs as fast as possible rather than prioritizing the correct bug hugs priorities will shift from situation to situation but there's a general rule of thumb that should almost never be ignored in any given situation this general rule of thumb is that more often than not your biggest focus should either be on the hunters or the Chargers now realistically you should get rid of the bugs that are posing the biggest threat to you for example if you've got a biosp right on your face or a brute Commander attempting to charge you down or even little pouncers jumping on top of you but generally speaking the hunters and the Chargers will be the ones that will pose the biggest threat in most situations a group of hunters if ignored to deal with another bug will very easily overwhelm you and take you and your friends down with extreme ease and if you're not equipped with a shield generator pack even a single Hunter will Circle your character around and poison you down slowing you and resulting you into being killed a group of hunters I'd say five or more Hunters are almost always the absolute abute highest priority as they won't come at you from a straight line they will instead circle around forcing you to spread your gunfire away from the swarm of bugs very easily flanking you or even distracting your gunfire long enough for other bugs to manage to get you killed the Chargers on the other hand are far more situational even when you get very accustomed to how the Chargers work a charger will often times force you to run towards a swarm as dodging their Chargers is more effective when you dodge towards Wards the Chargers as well the other issue with chargers especially when dealing with multiple Chargers is that while you're busy dodging their charges you're not actively killing any bugs meaning they get ever so closer to you and forces you to waste a lot of time potentially leading to bugs calling for yet another reinforcement and if things go really South eventually getting you stuck in an infinite reinforcement Loop so in other words Chargers need to be dealt with as soon as Hunters are no longer a threat so as to not cause this before we move on to the next tip what about biot Titans biot Titans are also very situational personally I recommend always bringing on several tools to deal with the bile Titans as soon as they spawn such as the quazar cannon 500 kilo bombs rail Cannon strikes or even hell bombs laying around in the map of course biot Titans are going to be extremely high on your priority list but you should dump those strategems on them as soon as they're up on their feet so as to deny biot Titan spawns with more ease however if you're in a situation where you don't have any means of taking down that biot Tian while your strategems are on cool down then use the biot Titan to your advantage the biot Titan will often times attempt to spel bile at you and you can use these acid spews to force the bot Titan to kill its little buddies it can kill Chargers in one spit enlarge groups of hunters with a lot of ease so as long as you have light armor you should be able to constantly kite the biot Titan and let it team kill the other bugs until your strategems are back off cool down now for the next tip this does have a bit more focus on solo hell divers or Hell divers who go off on their own in group play a balanced load out is key for survival in group play you'll come across a lot of Hell divers who will specialize on one thing such as dealing with armor targets like for example bringing in three or even four strategems that are meant to focus down all of the heavily armored units such as using rail Cannon strikes with orbital cannons 500 kilo bombs you get the point for dominating the bugs with your own two hands you want to have a balanced load out that can handle everything you want strategems to deal with the heavily armored units strategems to deal with large swarms of bugs a well balanced weapon to deal with groups of hunters and so on now there are various different types of loadouts you can bring to destroy the bugs but generally I'd recommend you building your Loadout like this bring one armored dealing support weapon that can effectively try to handle at least the Chargers so as to try to make fights take far less time as shooting the Chargers in their back will take ages as you fight easily over 20 Chargers in one hell dive difficulty game these can be the quazar cannon the flamethrower the ark thrower the Expendable anti-tanks Etc also try to bring at least one strategy strictly reserved for dealing with bot Titans these can be orbital kry strikes rail Cannon strikes orbital lasers Eagle 500 kilo bombs Etc I'd recommend bringing two strategems for dealing with biot Titans if you're equipped with a support weapon that cannot handle biot Titans such as the machine gun or the flamethrower unless you're very confident of course that you can make just that one strategy deal with the biot Titan threats I'd also recommend bringing one defensive backpack strategy that's either the jump pack the guard dog Rover or the shield generator pack which I'd recommend the shield generator pack well over the other ones and lastly I'd also recommend bringing one swarm dealing strategem this one can be replaced for yet another strategem to handle the biot Titans if you're equipped with a support weapon that can't assist you with dealing with the biot Titans especially if the support weapon you're bringing will already help you dealing with swarms such as the ark thrower for the Swarm dealing strategy I'd recommend the eagle air strike or the eagle cluster bomb but most will do just fine and on to the next tip is positioning and using the map to your advantage as we've said earlier hell bombs laying around the map can be extremely easy ways for dealing with bile Titans so it's important to pay attention to these but I also mean constantly using the map to create space between you and your enemies and giving yourself The High Ground given one simple example you can use rocks and places where you're elevated to force the bugs to take the long way around forcing them to rotate around and waste a lot of time to get to you giving you a lot of free time to kill as many as you can and then you can go and drop off this elevated location once again forcing them to rotate around yet again creating another window of opportunity to kill as many bugs as you can also like the previous tip we gave earlier paying attention to stones and solid rocks to not only Force the bugs to make their way around it but also to get Chargers stuck creating a window of opportunity for you to get a free charger Kill playing around with Higher Ground with bugs and constantly switching your positioning vertically rather than horizontally and you'll find yourself creating a lot of space between you and the bugs even though you're technically not that far away from them and last but not least my last tip may not apply to everyone nor to everyone's play style but I highly recommend dealing with bugs aggressively bugs are like cockroaches you should exterminate them on site they will eventually enter a constant reinforcement Loop where you're no longer able to deal with due to the massive amounts of reinforcements if you don't kill them on site a lot of people watch my game plays and ask how come my game seem so tame and the reason is apart from playing solo which spawns less bugs I constantly go aggressive against the bugs because if you just kind of kill a couple of bugs but not the entire group and try to proceed with your mission what's going to happen is that the leftover bugs will keep chasing you down and eventually call in for reinforcement which will call in for another reinforcement which calls in another reinforcement you get the point if you kill the bugs aggressively as soon as you're in engagement you can prevent them from calling further reinforcements surely you don't need to shoot those patrols that are just going on about their days if they're not engaged with you but I almost never recommend running away from a fight when you're going up against the bugs if you're engaged with a group of bugs exterminate them do that for democracy the only time I'll recommend actively running away from Bugs will be when you're in an unwinable situation and you will actually lose if you stay and try to fight but if you're applying all of these tips combined when going up against the bugs you'll be able to constantly wipe down their forces making sure you never really enter that constant reinforcement Loop where their numbers get out of control and that'll be all for today's video let's get the hell out there and murder some bugs I'll be catching you guys on the next one peace
