How to REVIVE your DEAD or INACTIVE DISCORD SERVER!

hey what's up everyone is custom here and I'm back to the new video and today I'm on discord and I'm gonna be showing you how you can revive your dead discord server now dead discord servers aren't the best of things I've got one here you know it's called something for nothing it used to become something for our churches and it used to be part of these something for everyone Network however it is extremely dead now we don't use it and I'm not going exactly be wanting to revive it because it's got no purpose however you might have a discord server in which you might want to revive because it's your server and it's gone dead it's gone quiet so I'm going to give you five top tips to revive your discord server and also some server owners are also going to give you their top tip to revive your dead discord so I'm gonna get straight into it but before we do there's a couple of things you guys need to do the first thing you guys need to do is you could go and hit that subscribe button make sure it turns gray you've got six seconds on the screen to do that and make sure to hit the notification bell try to hit 15,000 subscribers buddy ends today probably impossible but let's go out by revamping the server that includes changing the server icon against people attracted they're like oh what's out on my server list change the name of it change the roles changed a role caller maybe change your channels maybe organize it a bit because then it looked better looks new people like new things and they're going to want to talk there so if you change it all up people are going to want to talk on your server because it's new so make sure to go change it all up go revamp because it will definitely help your server flourish and become active and maybe grow again is that have being dead or not used so the first tip I suggest to you guys is make sure to go do that right guys so the next thing that I suggest you guys going to do is by getting your friends to go talking to the chat with you now if you go and get your friends to talk with you I suggest you know try and get your server active by talking with them and them talking you know amongst themselves because then it helps you know make it grow and makes it active again because if there's people talking to have more people come and more people receive a lot of people look there's always people lurking in servers all the time like I'm lurking on my server right now and people don't even know but at the same time if you do um at the same time if you get your server active by talking with your friends and you're talking in chat you might get more people coming along and wanting to talk because there's actually people there to talk to they can't talk to themselves there's no one there they're talking to themselves it makes them look like an idiot but if there's actually people talking it won't make them look like an idiot and at the same time it can help your server become undead can help a big active and can help it grow again so make sure to go do that right guys so the first episode just used by hosting events on your server now we do events on sfe it's really helpful it gets people engaged in the community doing events I mean like the team challenges I suggested in my activity video so make sure to go watch that I suggest doing like karaokes and that sort of thing for voice chat activity etc etc it gets people wanting to come along and talk because it's really really useful and it wants people to come along and you know engage with the community host events talk to each other and that sort of thing if there's nothing fun there they're not going to want to talk they're not gonna wants Bieber so your service is gonna be dead so we need to do is you need to do something to make you undead you need to make it attractive you need to make it fun you need to make something there which is very useful for them and something which is very awesome for them to want to come and talk so make sure to host those events I suggest a long list right now such as karaoke team challenge scribble-scribble ooh I think that's how you pronounce it and even cars against humanity if you're 18 plus there's a lot of different events you can do which can definitely help your server massively and I do recommend that but anyways guys I'm going to go over to the next hip to go and help you even more right guys so the next thing that I suggest you go and do is reach advertise your server now a lot of people move on is a common fact a lot of people move on from servers the human race is very impatient they won't change they don't like the same old thing we don't have the you know attention span of you know something very long and we just want something new you know quite often and that's why a lot of people leave they get bored of your server and it's common practice it happens on all my services s happen on sfe is probably starting to happen a bit on customs magical world there is slightly which you should totally join because it's my YouTube server but the same time it does happen so what you need to do is you need to reality show so for now luckily enough for you I've got a really good video which can help you do that it's called how to grow your server is also in the description so make sure to go and check that out but long story short we should do is you should you know go and advertise it to friends you should advertise it on listing sites you should don't do all of that stuff which definitely helps you grow because then it reaches you out to a new audience and more people will come and join a long summation to go do that because there helps you massively anyways I'm going to go over to the next hip to suggest to you how you can revive you their disk or server right guys so the final tip from me before we go to the server owners is to hosting a giveaway people love free stuff people absolutely adore it so if you host free giveaways people are going to come to your server I tell you that now people are gonna talk there more people will join there's not gonna be dead anymore I can tell you that now just host something where they have to be active and people will be active because they want that free stuff so make sure to host a giveaway of some sort and people will come along and people will talk when you're sober your server won't be dead anymore so make sure to go do that because it would definitely help you out massively summation to host giveaways like we do here at monthly giveaways and like we do here in the night chat giveaways so make sure to go and join us over for the giveaways like that as well but anyways just make sure the host giveaways and follow all of the tips are suggested because it would definitely help you I'll go over there some server owner tips right now because I help you even more so those transitions to them and enjoy the rest of the video the best way to revive a dead server is to announce that you are reviving the server as well as doing a message challenge to happen concurrently with this to keep the server active make sure to keep the conversations going in the server and to hold semi frequent events I think a lot of people when there's going through their server list they like hover over they look to see if anyone is in voice chat so if you join a voice shot you can maybe revive your server by being in voice chat than other people like click on your server and be like Oh someone's there I want to go talk to them and then they'll join I can confirm that this works if you want to get some activity going in a discord that might not be as active anymore as it once was you might want to try rewarding activity set up something like giveaways for people that are actually active that chat regularly and incentivize them to make sure that they actually have a reason to be active but also just for the sake of growing your server activity also inspires activity so once you get it you have to do is do a small giveaway maybe a $10 Nitra giveaway or anything else you want to give way that a lot of your members are gonna enter and then in that giveaway use a bot like santa Wampus which allows you to do a iMessage requirement where people have to send 50 messages to be able to enter and you say basically send 50 new messages that's the requirement for this giveaway it'll get people talking and a lot of those people will continue talking afterwards some tips and right guys so I hope this server owners gave you some awesome tips and will allow you to grow it and develop
