Reviewing YOUR Discord Servers 2!

hello everyone this is soundroad and in this video i shall review some of the servers that you guys have sent in my server and this video is actually part two because i made a video like this about a year ago which is quite a long time ago yeah there it is so anyway i'm going to be looking at self advertising a place where people can advertise servers in my server which is right here so you should probably join and there's plenty of servers here we can explore and i'm going to be reviewing them but remember this is just gonna be my opinion okay don't get angry so we'll have three different categories the theme the setup and the aesthetics because those are all pretty important to a discord server in my opinion and if you're a fan of emojis which i'm sure you are we've got plenty but there's also this server jets dreamworld they've got 500 very epic peepo's you can enjoy alright so let's choose the first server i'm thinking the alpha lounge this one right here so they've got plenty of stuff as you can see um i like that they have vibe with everyone and they seem to have 700 members which is actually pretty good so uh let's join it and we're in but we're greeted by a channel that we can't see so the owner has to set up the invite to go into like a rules channel or the verify so they can actually see what to do so we gotta react to verify uh okay i just skipped through the rules no problem i totally read them all right so with the theme uh the alpha lounge now it's not really clear what the theme is i guess the lounge in the name gives it away so it's like a chill server where you can like talk to people i guess uh they have anime in the banner i'm not sure why maybe this is an anime server i have no idea so i'm giving the theme a 3 out of 5 stars because it's not super clear and they could make an info channel about it okay moving on to setup so they have announcements and info and then text channels and then fun oh dear this is like an exact copy of my server they have like the same setup as my server pretty much the same in the rules channel as well this is actually copy and pasted from my server uh well okay well i'm kind of happy that they didn't copy all of my other rules but they're all reworded all right well uh this one is copy and pasted as well this one is copy and pasted and um that's pretty much it all the others are in exactly the same order as mine but they're just reworded differently so i'm gonna have to take off a bunch of stars because they copy and pasted my rules so i'm gonna give them two stars for setup uh because they copied my entire setup here yep this was copied as well this was copied as well they have honorable their friend yep this was copied all right well that's two stars i'm sorry but i don't like when people copy my stuff all right now aesthetics so there's so many emojis everywhere it's actually a pain to look at i'm sorry but look look at these roles okay emoji emoji emoji emoji why why do they have emojis everywhere this is like oh it's painful for my eyes but i mean the announcements look pretty nice i gotta say i like the use of quotes um they have pretty nice channels i don't like how they use the same emoji here it's like kind of complicated to look at and why would you use that empty heart emoji on the voice channel that does not look nice at all so with aesthetics i'm gonna have to give him a three out of five stars because i don't like the emojis everywhere but the colors are pretty nice and uh the roll management and the channel management is pretty clean oh yeah also the icon isn't that good it's kind of hard to read i would change it to like a or something so that's going to be 2.6 stars i'm gonna have to give that the overall rating so would i recommend joining well if you don't mind that they copied my stuff yeah sure all right let's check out this next one it's called hype's dream worlds uh so they have a bunch of stuff as you can see with this page here and a pretty nice logo and stuff let's check it out oh we got a cool welcome page here i like it actually looks pretty cool oh yeah this one has a 600 members i think so let's give it a nice review okay so the theme uh we got a nice page here that says what is it about it hasn't really got a specific theme it's about the amazing community hmm all right so it doesn't really have a theme now that's kind of an issue because if you have a well thought out theme in your server it's gonna do way better than if you didn't have it so i'm gonna have to give the theme rating a one out of five because they don't have a theme unfortunately so in terms of the setup rating we can see that we have to verify before we enter but at first i thought that i thought i didn't have to verify because i see all of these channels here i don't see the point of this why are you able to see all these channels before you verify uh well whatever let's see what we can unlock oh my gosh whoa there's so many channels and again of course they use emojis in every single channel why there's too many emojis here um okay so why does this channel exist it's literally asking if they're legit or not what i don't see the point of this channel um it's like you're worried that people think you're not legit or something like all right they have a proof channel and vouches so what is this for is this because they make servers or something i guess it's for the giveaways because they don't know if they can be trusted okay well wow they have super descriptive roles here now i don't really mind that that's pretty good oh my gosh look how many staff roles they have trial helper helper senior helper head helper what oh my gosh they have like 1 000 staff there's even more oh wow all right set up i don't like this at all man why do they have so many staff roles for such a tiny server 600 members now my server we have 220 000 members but we have like four staff roles in total isn't that a bit excessive with all these look at this okay so they have an insane amount of giveaways apparently like what are they giving away here and their chat is extremely dead uh barely any messages here but yeah whatever so i'm gonna give them two stars for setup this setup is not very good for a small server i would recommend toning it down you should have like two staff rolls like mod and admin uh that would be good and you have way too many channels like these are not very necessary at all here you could merge the booster perks channel into like the info channel you could say what they get all right but let's go into the aesthetics because this server does look pretty nice i must say the rules are pretty clean uh they have a nice welcome channel they have a nice banner i guess i don't know if this is custom or not look how nice this looks i like it it's pretty good i'm gonna give them 4 out of 5 stars for aesthetics because it looks pretty nice alright so that's 2.4 stars out of 5. that's the overall rating for hype stream world all right okay next one we're going to check out is the gamer glitter empire we've got counting and economy and all that good stuff so let's join and see what it's about okay so here we are um i kinda oh my wow okay so let's go with the theme rating first so what's the theme here um so the owner has a youtube channel and they upload fall guys i guess they stream okay oh and they give away trainee admin what uh i don't recommend giving away admin in your server by any means that's kind of uh not a good idea i don't really know what the theme is here i'm guessing it's like for their youtube channel so because i have to guess what the theme is i'm gonna have to go with a two out of five stars on the theme it's like impossible to tell i i don't really know alright setup how is the server set up so on the right here we can see the member list is chock full of bots straight up and other than that we have a bunch of inactive members so i would recommend shoving these bots to the bottom so that you can actually see everyone first before you steal these bots um and other than that honestly it's not too bad like i would recommend splitting some of these channels into different categories because we got like staff apps and giveaways and then rules all together those shouldn't go together and the same thing here with the main channels you could split these off like advertising and counting these could go into different categories and then down here we have a mess of voice channels why do these exist here i don't understand just have one or two gaming vcs and you're good you don't need all of these vcs for different games okay it's pointless to do this also it's worth mentioning they don't have any channel topics so you should add those in like over here so for setup i'm gonna have to give them three out of five stars because at least they didn't shove emojis into every single channel to make it look really horrendous all right for aesthetics what do we got here we got this server icon i can't tell what that is in when it's small uh it's the owner's icon oh it's like they have a mask or something is that is that like pub g or something i can't tell so i would recommend trying to get a different logo or zoom into this one so it's easier to see because it's hard to tell what this is right now and it wouldn't hurt to add some emojis like into the categories for example and in the rules it does not look very nice like no formatting uh no everyone paying to make it look good they didn't edit the rules to add more they just typed it in chat so i'm gonna have to give him a three out of five in aesthetics because it isn't too bad but it could be improved a lot so that's going to be 2.6 stars so once again similar to the previous two servers uh there we go all right let's join this one so this one is called gaming heaven they have a ten dollar giveaway you can join oh my god and they have a not safe for work channel for the big boys um well let's check it out okay here we are so the theme what is the theme of this server so i don't think there's anything in this server to tell me what the server is about there's just announcements welcome bot info oh this is copied from my server of course the bot info directly copied from mine thank you why do people do this i don't understand because i honestly don't know what the server's about there's no channels to tell me what it's about overall it's pretty confusing so i'm going to give it a one out of five for that the setup is interesting it could be improved if you look at the roles [Music] you have no idea what any of these do like holy man what is that what does that role mean pro gamer epic gamer gamer boy what do these roles mean come on man and simp why do they have a simp roll uh and these rolls are kind of ugly colors like this brownish red and like oh this this color hurts my eyes to look at so i'd recommend improving some of those roll colors they are set up terribly because you have no idea what these mean yeah they have emojis in like every single role why what does legendary minor mean what what does this mean so setup uh it's not too great i mean they do have nice categories all right so the setup i'm gonna have to give it a two out of five because uh it could be improved vastly okay so aesthetics they have emojis in every single channel pretty much i don't like that i'm not a fan uh but in the ones that they don't it looks pretty good they copied my bot info so that's not very nice the rules are pretty good i don't like how they use this font here what's what's the point of using this font so acidics i'm gonna have to give it a three out of five so that's two out of five stars overall for this server it's a little rough that's the lowest server so far okay next one this is actually by one of my moderators i think it's orion starship ooh all right we have 150 members in here interesting okay read me what does this say make sure to read all the information channels uh i can't see bot info yikes after reading those i can verify okay cool so i totally read them just pretend i did and now i can see bot info okay uh maybe fix the perms there because i couldn't see it when i first joined all right so we have the rules here pretty solid rules i like these nice got a nice banner up here using my font no i think it's slightly different actually all right solid rules very nice look to it i like it the roll info it's pretty good actually it's really clear what these are uh you can see what everything is very nice bot info similar stuff really good so the theme of this server is important what is the theme about uh it's a starship server maybe it's about space possibly i'm not sure so there's no channel here to tell me what the server's about i guess it's just a lounge for community members so it's not super clear i'd recommend doing a clear channel for what it's about so let's give it a 3 out of 5 stars for the theme it's not super clear but it works alright so the setup how is the server set up so we have a bunch of roles let's check them out okay so we have level rules that's pretty cool and we have staff roles ooh i like this so we got android which are the bots that make sense patrol okay padawan ah protector okay these are pretty cool names for the roles you know it fits into the theme of the server which is like space and star wars i guess because we got paddle on all right so the setup for rolls is really good uh it's pretty clear-cut though i would recommend making it so that it's not only this message that's pinged because that has my role probably this one uh you should probably do like a ping here so it looks a little yellow so it matches this part right here and that'll look pretty nice the bots are set up pretty well is there a channel for bots oh it's in control room okay so it's not super clear but control room is the bot channel so we have an art channel as well and advertisements and partnerships and a little bit of voice channels is pretty good you don't have an insane amount of voice channels for no reason so i like that you have some emojis which is pretty nice i think i'm going to give this setup like a 4 out of 5 stars this is really clean the rollers are really simple i like it okay final thing the aesthetics so i think the server icon could be improved it's a little bit too dark like it's kind of hard to see under the discord dark theme which is like what everyone uses obviously if you don't then you should probably buy some new eyes or get laser eye surgery because you won't be able to see after using the discord for like 10 minutes they actually have the topic which is what like no other servers do for some reason so i'm gonna have to give aesthetics another four out of five stars it's really nice also i like the rule colors they're pretty cool alright so that's 3.6 stars out of five overall score is way better than the previous ones so props to baldy good job they're beginning to become aware of my existence because i'm getting pings in these servers so uh all right that's all the servers we're gonna explore today i better leave them all before they uh soon spam ping me all the time so i'll leave invite links to all the servers i just checked out in the description if you want to check them out make sure to join mine as
