[Music] the only time you want the cheese touch [Music] hello and welcome to the views kitchen happy sunday amigos today we have something super delicious prepared for you we are going to be making baked burritos smothered in a creamy sauce and if you like what burritos you're absolutely going to love this recipe and cloud is one of those she likes the wet burritos and she's been she's been at it why is why tell us why they're just so good they're so good this is a super easy recipe make sure you have your tortillas ready and let's go over the rest of the ingredients your choice of shredded chicken the costco rotisserie works too friends chopped and pre-cooked potatoes one can of roasted hatch chilies oh yeah finely chopped onion and garlic i know you can't see the garlic in there but it's in there friends mix is veggie you can use your frozen or your can of mixed veggies friends chicken bouillon and what we're gonna do to one cup of water we're gonna add our chicken bouillon we're gonna mix it and this one right here is gonna be for our sauce and this is warm water that i'm mixing it in and this chicken bouillon is gonna be for our seasoning for the filling cumin black pepper butter freshly made flour tortillas using our family recipe friends make sure to choose your favorite tortillas and always make it comfortable for your home heavy whipping cream medium freshly grated cheddar mozzarella mexican cheese blend now it's a good time to preheat your oven to 380 degrees fahrenheit friends now let's head on over to the stovetop and let's get cooking oh yeah you may not get saucy we're gonna get saucy place your pan on a medium heat drizzle a little bit of oil what kind of oil the oil you use to cook with friends so if you use canola vegetable your favorite oil that's what you're going to use then you're going to add half of that portion of butter okay why both because we don't want our butter to burn but we want the flavor and we want the flavor yes yes that's the worst when you burn your butter you know it's happened not on my watch friends you deserve better add your onions cloud how did you get these onions so fine in the ninja chocolate okay girl i see you i added the uh garlic and onions in there i'm all about saving time yeah you just take time it looks great thank you i think you get a juicier uh onion that way okay we're gonna continue to cook these onions for about three minutes okay actually let me correct that it's the onions and garlic i can't leave the garlic out of here but i can't really see it it's so finely chopped but it's beautiful after two to three minutes you want to add your shredded chicken once you add your chicken just stir it in with the onions [Music] give it a proper introduction i thought you were gonna say what do you mean by that what no i know for those of you that don't know and this is your first time watching us you're just you know you're allowing the flavors to combine it's a beautiful marriage a union that's fast that chicken is fast it's not chicken it's a little chicken head it really is once you give your ingredients a proper introduction you're going to start adding your spices okay so we have some cumin that goes great with chicken i love it black pepper and your chicken bouillon now let's give that a good mix i don't want you guys being scared moving in like this no get in there okay it's your kitchen your food engaged you can be delicate at other times right now you just gotta get in here okay next we're gonna add our veggies and i have frozen veggies and our potatoes and those are our pre-cooked potatoes okay friends i'm going to continue to cook this on a medium-low heat for about three minutes only because i'm using the frozen veggies and while i do that i'm going to get started on the sauce set your pan on a medium heat and add your butter as soon as your butter melts you're going to add that mixture of the chicken bouillon or if you're using chicken broth right into your pot mix it around [Music] i mean if you want to go back and forth you can too and don't let me boss you around in your kitchen all right girl all right i feel you and all we're going to wait for is for this to come to a good little boil okay a little because we only have a little bit in there once you have a boil going you're going to add your heavy whipping cream if you don't have heavy whipping cream you can use a half and half which is a great alternative to get that creaminess stir it up and we also want this to come to a nice little boil okay before we add the cheese do not add your cheese if it's still cold in there right now it's not ready it's lukewarm that boil should take you about one minute okay so keep a close eye so we're gonna do is we're gonna add our cheese and this is not pre-shredded right no it's freshly shredded cheese if you use the pre-shredded one you're going to get a little bit of the grainy stuff that it's coated with it'll still work it just won't be as smooth go ahead and place this on a low heat and start whisking okay gently you're doing this with a lot of love because if you have it on your medium heat medium high you're just putting a lot of pressure we want a nice smooth uh consistency you want a slow mount oh yeah you want your slow motion i want a slow motion yes and i also very white music yes oh my goodness wow you got romantic all of a sudden was it the cheese that did it for you it was the cheese okay and your beautiful face oh thank you yes yes and you get more of a silkiness now if you guys also don't have for example uh you don't have heavy whipping cream or half and half get some milk get your can of evaporated milk because you guys mentioned you have that in your pantry and you can mix it in here too it just gives you a more thicker taste and it gets stuck in your throat that's kind of why i prefer the heavy whipping cream it digests better for me i agree choose your dairy wisely right once you see that your cheese has melted you can raise it up just a little bit still low but you know like where you just give it that double up you know like that that's all you're doing don't go to medium i guess is that immediate right before you get to that medium low right before right before then especially if you're using an electric burner you got to be really careful you have to use that that opening a combination lock wrist turn when you turn on the plane just a little bit yeah don't don't don't turn it like when you open your heart and you fall in love you're just full blast on high that's you girl excuse me people fall in love quickly with me i don't do the same i'm gentle girl hey hey hey hey don't listen to her guys don't listen love loving you i don't know guys cloud know something about me but i shut up girl you're embarrassing me okay now what you're gonna do is you're gonna add the can of roasted peppers if you're not using a can get your roasted peppers that you have you have jalapenos roast the peppers in your refrigerator and add it in here okay don't don't feel limited at all but i want to know who used to go shopping at the limited me me of course exactly okay so now okay i see you all right she used to go shopping at the limited to go see one of her boyfriends girl i wouldn't wear that because i'm my because i had to wear business attire love you you weren't complaining about that paycheck when you wouldn't have sushi i was not i was not friends okay so just you know stir it up gently and this is this is looking this is looking great before we continue with the recipe i want you guys to get the sauce just right so i'm going to show you what it looks like when it's runny and since we're going to bake it i wanted to do most of the cooking when it's in the oven with the burritos you know so it can thicken up in there but if you're not going to be using the onion you just want to wet your burrito then you can continue to cook it on the stove top on a medium-low heat for about four to five minutes so for me i'm gonna continue to cook it for two minutes on like a medium heat and i'll show you guys a consistency that we have going on in the consistency that i prefer see that's really runny and since we have heavy whipping cream this will thicken up quickly i'm gonna continue to cook it for it's gonna be two to three minutes and i'll show you the consistency that our family prefers at that moment that way we can continue to cook it in the oven you know okay friends it's been three minutes and i have the consistency that i that i like it's just slightly thicker it's not completely cooked just slightly thicker okay now if you're not going to put it in the oven again you might want to cook it another two to three minutes so you get some of that crispy seared at the bottom [Music] and you can turn this one off place your tortilla and grab your desired amount of filling okay don't push it i know you guys want to get all taco shop on it don't push it grab your sides bring them in and roll it over tuck it in and roll and all we're going to do is place it in our tray and we're going to line it up okay okay now it's time to pour the delicious creamy sauce over it yay this is not a time to be shy do i look like i'm being shy today guys am i part of the guys friends am i part of the friends yes you are no you're not being shy okay and if you continue to cook the sauce just a little bit more you're going to get a really good dip that's right perfect [Music] smother it wet it anybody saying oh yeah in the comments i want to hear you say oh yeah yes and i'm singing all kinds of songs in my head oh you sound like could this be love no okay i like to blend my cheeses because we live because i mean because okay i hang around kids a lot because you get that that cheesy gooeyness it's not enough it's for sundays a little sprinkle a little bird told me that you have a wonderful meatless monday recipe i really do friends don't get scared for meatless monday just because there's no protein in there doesn't mean it's not going to be delicious okay we're going to just continuously get better and you're going to get even more excited about it but i know you're going to be super excited to place these in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes once you see that cheese sauce bubble that means that you're ready everything is already cooked we just want it to be nice warm and that cheese on the top to melt so that we can get that good cheese pull that gooeyness that we love let's put it in the oven yes friends apparently i'm old like that too even old on the kids songs [Music] which one do you want the corner station yes the only time you want the cheese touch [Music] and the sauce that's on the bottom just scoop it right up place it in do not leave the sauce behind do not that's the good stuff oh ooey gooey delicious yay and if you don't like the word delicious you could say delicious yeah you can apparently i'm into something can you turn that burrito around so i can see the crispiness on this side oh my goodness i got to cut into this you got you have to see this since we have our sauce there we're just
