okay I admit it I'm a dirty [ __ ] liar I rewatched Naruto several months ago now and made this follow-up list of changes as a sequel to my previous video I haven't actually watched Naruto in a while and I also haven't been keeping up with Borat oh but [ __ ] it with that being said here are more changes I would make to the series these are in addition to the previous video I made so go watch that one if you haven't already as it contains some of the more major changes this list will be building off of those changes so watch it I promise it's a good wholesome video oh yeah and spoiler warning for the entire series I managed to avoid talking about the absurdity of the reanimation jutsu in my last video because I felt it was ultimately too important to keisha motives story but I can no longer hold back my feelings about how Dom it is the impact of a character's death in any work of fiction is vastly important to the story moving forward and the characters impacted by it so suddenly bringing back a bunch of characters to life really cheapens the purpose of their deaths I feel this way about any story that chooses to freely revive characters for the sake of plot convenience some stories absolutely refuse to kill off important characters which makes a bit more sense but Naruto often kills off characters for a forced emotional impact only to bring them back soon after all of these major past characters who died both before in the series and earlier in the series died for a reason and had a great effect on the story of the present you don't need to bring them back to life in order to prove their importance it's just lazy writing it only serves as a visually appealing plot thickener the reanimation jutsu when the final arc really shouldn't have happened I know I know I'll have to do a bit of damage control on this one because it's such a huge part of the final arc but ultimately you can mostly take this out of the story without changing how the final arc took place here me up this will probably be my biggest change we can get through this disaster first of all the shinobi Alliance still has the white zetsu army to face without the arrow Tensei this can serve to make the zetsu army a bit more creative in less shitty after all the white zetsu army was originally pretty underwhelming and was smacked around way too easily without the reanimation there's more of an opportunity to make them a bit more powerful and diverse in their abilities also this makes the whole thing about Kaguya trying to protect the world make more sense now that they're not garbage tear also without the reanimation jutsu the fourth war arc become less bloated by getting rid of all the half-assed moments with past characters you can cut down how painstakingly dragged out it felt another huge reason why the reanimation jutsu sucks is because it was an excuse to bring these powerful hokages back to life and have them steal the show while tossing aside their awesome roster of living characters you know the Konoha 11 the five cog a those random people from other villages who we never saw much of utilizing everyone and using their skills cooperatively even more giving each a decent moment to shine until their inevitably sucked up into cocoons would be beautiful I love the moments where we saw the shinobi Alliance cooperating against the ten tails but we really needed more of that especially with the Konoha 11 many of those characters are grossly under used and it's one of the most disappointing things about the later series this next one's kind of iffy but mod that owes revival is one of the few exceptions I'll make to what I said about death his reincarnation made the most sense out of any character as he was built up considerably in part two and you simply can't get rid of his importance in badassery however I firmly believe that he should be revived with the Renea rebirth technique instead perhaps we see a point where Obito after retrieving Nagato XY's uses the technique with the help of a white zetsu attached to his body and this is what revives moderate all the events was moderate versus the shinobi alliance can remain mostly the same afterwards - I guess attempting the seal moderate speaking of the Renea rebirth technique aside from the reanimation jutsu one of the cheapest moments in the series was when Nagato revived everyone in Konoha after his invasion death is supposed to be impactful and important in a series you can't just bring everyone back to life I'm sorry they're dead maybe be a bit more selective about who you kill off next time Kishimoto the Renea rebirth should be good for usage on one person only and that would end up being modern Nagato should have already been on the verge of death after his six paths were defeated and croaked by the end of his encounter with Naruto anyways Sasuke had a hugely important moment with the reanimation jutsu as Itachi's revival in the explanations he gave sparked a critical moment in Sasuke's development in that moment Itachi made Sasuke question himself heavily and was important to him realizing he needed to protect Konoha however the moment can be enacted without the reanimation jutsu I'll get a little fanfiction here but hear me out first off after receiving the eternal mangekyo Sasuke sets out to find Naruto in order to try and retrieve the nine tails for Obito and to settle their rivalry so the two encounter each other and battle it out with their new powers great moment to have a cool short fight between the two before they go out Super Saiyan during this new fight The Crow that Itachi gave to Naruto emerges towards the end of the fight and that crow transforms into a remnant of Itachi's consciousness I mean listen we saw this kind of thing with Minato in Kushina so it isn't really anything too far-fetched for the series Itachi is then able to explain himself and his decisions and he is also able to show Sasuke his memories much like he did originally Itachi fades away parting his final words and in Sasuke's state of confusion about what it means to be a shinobi of Konoha he retreats from Naruto and because of Naruto is concerned with the fourth war doesn't chase after him as for shi suis I in Coto Emmett's a commie at this point I don't really think it has much use Kishimoto already kind of threw it away in the battle with reanimated Nagato so I think that ultimately shisui should have just destroyed it with his suicide I mean kind of a lame way to retcon the codes were lots of commie but I simply can't imagine it being balanced anywhere else I originally thought that Itachi could give it to Sasuke as a way of admitting he's done creating false realities for Sasuke but if Sasuke had the co2 and motsak ami and then used it against Obito a Madara then it would just be way too broken of a trump card so unfortunately I think it's best if it just gets booted off the island sorry anyways instead of meeting with the reanimated Hokage Sasuke seeks out the remaining members of the Konoha Council to get the answers he seeks out of sheer anger and desperation Sasuke threatens the two elders forcing them to explain Sasuke the decisions surrounding Itachi and the Uchiha clan mascar as well as the story of hoshi rama and modern and how Konoha was founded sasuke then makes his decision to protect the leaf and joins the fight against modern Obito just like he did originally so what becomes of Kabuto role in the war well for starters like I said in my last video Kabuto should have been replaced with Orochimaru because [ __ ] Kabuto rough jamala is a much better villain Kabuto should simply remain a follower of ROH tomorrow and I'll like I also said in my previous video be a key role in bringing Orochimaru back considering Orochimaru 'he's goal is to become immortal and learn as many powers as possible you would immediately figure he would oppose mater as I have been plan as I'm sure he has no interest in being thrown into the infinite tsukiyomi while letting someone else become the second stage of the six pads I also stated in my last video that a row tomorrow should still undo the Reaper death seal and gain Sage Mode but with these newfound powers I'm not exactly sure that he'd have any reason to side with the Akatsuki in the war he would probably have a goal to surpass Obito and Madara and become the tenth tillage in Turkey himself then maybe when Sasuke decides to join the Allied forces he's stopped by Orochimaru and he and Orochimaru battle once more perhaps Orochimaru is still interested in the Sharingan especially Sasuke's new eternal mangekyo in order to be as strong as possible to face modern Orochimaru is then left defeated once again after much difficulty considering Sage Mode Orochimaru would be a badass and he's then left confused about his own motives and curious of the path Sasuke takes like he did originally I think my final gripe with the fourth shinobi world war is the time frame of it all supposedly the whole ordeal only lasted a few days which is kind of crazy considering how large of an arc it was in the series and just how much went on during it I feel like the whole ordeal should be extended in its timeframe not necessarily make the arc itself longer but simply how long it took place in their world and give it maybe six months a year at most considering is supposed to be you know a war it should probably last a decent amount of time just saying we're done talking about this [ __ ] war when Naruto was befriending the tailed beasts and one kurama's cooperation there was a point made about the beasts hating being trapped inside of the jinchuriki and Naruto realizing that they have feelings like everyone else the tailed beasts were implied to want to be able to roam free again without being trapped inside of someone but ultimately this sentiment is tossed aside in order to let an art to keep the nine tails inside of him something something hagoromo telling them that someone would come along to show the tailed beasts the path to follow it would have been a touching moment if Naruto had promised that once the war was over that he would release the nine tails inside of him and allow Kurama in the other Bijou to roam free and then in later events like boruto and whatnot in order to still allow him to use chromis power he just uses the summoning jutsu and seals him temporarily this gives more merit to Naruto and kurama's trust and cooperation let's be honest no one with a personality would enjoy being a pet trapped in a cramped cage Obito pretending to be moderate in the scheme of things didn't serve much of a purpose you'd figure that with all the sensory ninja out there and people like ohnoki who have encountered and fought Madara before but they would have been able to tell that Obito didn't have the same distinct chakra as Madara after all base Madara is far more potent than Obito ever was honestly what difference would it have made if his identity remained a complete mystery and he simply went by Toby the entire time you can still leave in all the foreshadowing and references to moderate perhaps serving to make his revival a bit more dramatic I get that moderate wanted his name to be on everything as he was the Grand Master of it all but it what it doesn't negate the fact that people would have been able to tell it wasn't moderate the whole idea should just be scrapped and the masked man simply remains a mystery until his reveal as Obito despite Orochimaru lose interest in Sasuke's path a roach mo should not suddenly become a good guy I know he's technically under constant supervision by Konoha now and his current motives in boruto are completely unknown but basically I'm saying that if a roach Amaro doesn't play some part in the evil scheme come future episodes of boruto that's gotta be some bull [ __ ] Orochimaru is through and through an awesome evil character regardless of what he wants to do we can't forget that I mentioned in my previous video that cutting should have joined sides with Konoha after being betrayed by Sasuke however do go and soy get su still join sides with Sasuke before the final battle so honestly given how Sasuke at this point was supposed to be alone in without any comrades jugo and soy ketsu really shouldn't have come to Sasuke's aid perhaps juga win so it gets who felt betrayed by Sasuke after you abandoned the two at the Battle of the kaga summit so we see them also come to the side of the Allied forces ultimately Sasuke should be completely without anyone close to him by the time the final de naruto vs sasuke battle happens other than of course the one-sided friendship of Naruto which ultimately helps emphasize the whole point made in the battle speaking of team heavy during the Itachi pursuit mission we should actually see team heavy in action against Konoha squad we never got to really see them fight together as a team so this arc would be the perfect opportunity for them to be pit against Konoha I'd start by first expanding Konoha team to include team guy this is because my preferred fight would be for a Kiba Shino Tenten and Neji to face up against suigetsu jugo cutting in Sasuke it would be a great excuse to show off heavies powers as well as give Neji and Sasuke a moment to fight and compare doh jutsus which I mentioned last video the fight should end however with Konoha side defeated heavy fling from the area in Sasuke encountering data given what I said about death in the reanimation jutsu Gaara at the beginning of part 2 simply shouldn't have died and been reanimated by Chiyo perhaps the squad sent after him are running super close and make it at the perfect time near moments before shukaku was fully absorbed this leaves Gaara hanging on with just Inklings of his life really pushing Naruto and Kakashi to move fast on retrieving Gaara from data wrap the shukaku is 99.99% absorbed by that point so the Akatsuki just call it a day and dip out this would also help further the idea of the incomplete ten tails in the final battle also Chiyo simply collapses out of pure chakra exhaustion after her and Sakura tried desperately to heal Gaara the pacing in this series has some absolutely brutal problems especially when adapted to the anime too many moments in the series are bogged down by way too much monologuing reaction shots delayed responses expositions explanations of things flashbacks overextended actions and battles crossing over each other when you're trying to watch soccer and Chiyo fight saucer II it really helps to keep the battle alive by not having them stand around talking so much and have the same flashback reoccur three times throughout the entire volume monologuing and exposition are all important i guess but each shot in the anime drags on for more seconds than it needs to and things just end up bloated and redundant it's really just a test of one's patience at that point which is entirely unnecessary get to the point please thank I forgot to mention last video that Sakura's love confession to Naruto was stupid both for soccer as a character and for any supposed development between the two characters so when addition to all the changes in romance I made last time and changes to soccer as a character it should just be gone altogether and we should cut to soccer going to try to beat the [ __ ] out of Sasuke hi haha also in the last video I talked about how Sasuke should have had more bonding moments with team 7 in part 1 and actually start to think of them like his family Naruto fits the role of his brother Sakura reminds him of how comforting and caring his mom was and well I forgot to mention anything about Kakashi Kakashi should feel like more of a father figure to Sasuke in some subtle ways obviously maybe not too much like the relationship between Jiraiya and Naruto but perhaps Kakashi starts to really appreciate training Sasuke and sees him like a son and then Sasuke has just reminded of his father through Kakashi would make for another good parallel and add more emotion to their relationship the best way to execute this would be to extend the period when Kakashi trained Sasuke to use the Chidori for the Chunin exams and simply flesh out the whole ordeal in addition to that at some point in the series we needed to see a proper fight between Kakashi and Sasuke the reason there wasn't much of a fight during the Team seven reunion was because Sasuke literally wasted all of his chakra beating down Danzo in the 5k so they sort of skimmed over it honestly I recommend watching the Kakashi versus Sasuke fan animation link in the description to get your fix but it's definitely a bit of a stretch in circumstance in terms of when they actually fight I'd imagine putting it somewhere before the five Kage summit but even then we're kind of at a pressed for time because that's directly after pain just decimated Konoha regardless perhaps Kakashi who felt the responsibility of Sasuke's defection from Konoha and felt responsible for Sasuke becoming a criminal uses his tracking ability to locate Sasuke just after he's supposedly kidnapped killer B and then they Duke it out works for me Sasuke should have kept the curse seal of heaven I don't care what any of you [ __ ] say the curse mark transformation was dope and it should have stuck around I don't care that he taught to used his magical sealing sword to suck Orochimaru out of Sasuke I don't care that Sasuke fills the void with Susan oh I don't care that it's technically an extension of sin jutsu and it's tied directly to Orochimaru I don't care when he taught he sucks a ro Chamorro out of Sasuke just leave the curse marking its powers behind because curse mark Sasuke was too badass and as a side note his wing never regenerated after having it severed so his wings should be able to regenerate I got a couple ideas for giving the Hyuga clan some more sense of prominence like I mentioned in the previous video for starters Neji should play a big role in pushing Hinata to go after Naruto and admit her feelings as a way of building upon Neji Hinata stroll a ship in addition to that he not as feelings for Naruto should become a point of contention amongst her and her father he ah she vehemently rejects the idea because he believes Naruto is still a nuisance and he doesn't want to risk tainting the Hyuga lineage it could also be a moment to open up exposition on what makes the Hyuga clan lineage so important aka its ties to the moon and Himura the shinobi god of the moon while not spoiling too much while Neji attempts to vouch for Naruto's respectability the rest of the Hyuga clan is in agreement about Hinata staying away from Naruto however when Naruto saves the village from the pain assault that's when he ah she and the Hyuga clan see that Naruto is a commendable shinobi in accepts he not his feelings for him to give that last point some more ground perhaps around the time Naruto first sees Hinata after the time skip Naruto develops a bit of a crush on her because of how attractive she's become but of course he's Nara toh so he doesn't know what to say about it just kind of goes along without thinking too hard about it maybe we can see a couple more times when Naruto is a bit nervous around Hinata when they interact other than that his feelings should remain mostly under wraps maybe mentioning a thing or two to soccer about it in order to get her opinion anything to give the Nara Hina relationship more development because like I said the romance in this story [ __ ] is socks the power ceiling in this series has always been incredibly unclear while there's nothing wrong with the characters continually becoming stronger almost godlike there should definitely be a better establishment of just how powerful people can get the best way to do this in my opinion is to explain the story of the sage of the six paths a lot earlier in the series treating it like a popular urban legend and how he created the moon and was a God among men he was first mentioned during the pain art which was far too late in my opinion considering how central hagoromo is to the overall story we needed a more developed character change for Gaara in part one he went from murderous psychopath to reformed Savior with only Naruto's cute little monologue to show for it Naruto should have a more immediately visible impact on guy and we should get scenes detailing the emotional change forgot something about Danzo in his fight with Sasuke was kind of underwhelming first of all Danzo acted like a complete idiot getting rid of his ease and Nagi so carelessly with characters like kakuzu who were actually difficult to take care of with his boasted immortality Danzo should have a similar treatment and shouldn't be stomped as easily as he was after all Danza was built up as this accumulation of pure evil so he should definitely give both Sasuke and obito a run for their money with his power speaking of that fight cuttings abilities are also underwhelming a girl who supposedly kept an entire prison in order which was full of those captured by Orochimaru shouldn't be left to be only a semi useless medical and century ninja can she at least be skilled in something high due to maybe come on Sakura as a character despite the fact that she was often put on the back burner is someone whose motives and goals aren't very grounded or compelling I like the idea that Kishimoto tried to write her as one of the most realistic relatable characters in this series but he seriously missed the ball on so many opportunity that she ended up being a very polarizing addition to the series sakura should be a character who struggles with the basic fear of herself her own potential her own weaknesses she's a character who has so many basic flaws such as her helplessness in dangerous situations her emotions getting the better of her her insecurities about her looks constantly feeling like she's living in the shadow of her teammates constantly feeling like her normal lineage makes her inferior constantly feeling like the world just wants her to be a medical ninja when she wants to be so much more she has intelligence she has strengths she has skill and she has Drive she just doesn't believe in herself through her trials and those who inspire her like Tsunade and Naruto she should slowly overcome her lack of confidence and her flaws and emerge as a badass character intelligence that rivals Shikamaru strengths that rival Tsunade confidence that rivals Naruto skills that rivals Kakashi it's okay that she makes mistakes in the beginning of the series but she needs to actually come out on top in the end there was a point made at the Falls of truth that Naruto used to feel hatred and resentment towards the people of Konoha because of how they treated him when he was young and that those hateful demons of past carried with them up to that point this idea however really hadn't been developed in this series you saw him feeling sad and angsty but to go as far as to say he deeply hated the people who made fun of him is stretching it especially the sentiment that he carried that hatred with him up to that point so while accurately portraying this hatred might be a bit out of character for the Naruto we know I actually think that this could add a bit more emotional depth to him if it were better developed I think that Naruto should be a character who's hesitant to forgive the people of konohana he should have a level of distrust in them when they come to his support after the Konoha crush arc and after the pain assault arc there should be a significant part of him that feels insecure about it and questions whether they really care at the same time Naruto can still be someone who likes and cares for the friends that he makes especially the Konoha 12 in his sensei's but the distinction is that Naruto's gotten to know them and knows he can trust them for him to accept the Village People as a whole and subsequently understand that the true love Hokage is accepting the entire villages family not trying to prove to everyone you're the best should be a much more significant emotional hurdle for him during the Falls of truth arc overall there needed to be more battles between Naruto and Sasuke I understand that ki shmouna wanted to build up to a grand final battle but there was also a point he made about modern hashirama as Asura and Indra and how they would constantly duke it out throughout their entire lives and while naruto and sasuke do break this cycle the parallel is still there and i think there should have been a couple more fight sequences between them because they would be cool as [ __ ] one of them should be the reunion after the time-skip where naruto and sasuke actually get to fight a bit before sasuke makes an escape with Orochimaru at the end it should involve Sasuke's improved skill with the curse mark Naruto's improve control over the nine tails as well as all their other improvements over the years to give us a clue as to how they really stack up Sasuke should still win this fight to act as motivation for Naruto to train even harder and learn the Ross and shuriken but overall it should still be a battle worth remembering another fight like I mentioned earlier should be after Sasuke achieves the eternal mangekyo sharingan and Naruto gains control of kurama's chakra this one should be epic and a huge culmination of how powerful each has become it should reflect the raw anger and rivalry the two have for each other at this point it would make sense that we see them start to level out and emerge as equals in the battle trading blows and advantages because that too was a parallel between Asura ninja and like I said earlier the fight should end with speaking of their battles the circumstance for the last battle between Naruto and Sasuke was sort of ridiculous if you think about it the two had just got out of a long seemingly endless fight with Obito the ten tails Madara and Kaguya yet they still both had the chakra left to quickly travel to the valley of the end and whip out most of their greatest moves despite the fact that they're both absolute powerhouses this is just too inconsistent with everything laid out about how chakra works after Team seven defeats moderate naruto and sasuke should immediately undo the eye of the moon and free everyone however sasuke should still be left confused about his role in the shinobi world and what exactly he wants to fight for and protect so after their victory sasuke conflicted with both his path moving forward and his lingering emotional ties to his former teammates goes into hiding telling naruto to meet him at the valley of the end in a month giving both time to rest and sort things out before their final clash this is where sasuke comes to the conclusion that the old system needed to be torn down and built anew and he alone shoulders this burden while naruto sees the strength and cooperation in his relationships with others and how that should be the path moving for that's absolutely it we fixed the series we turn this thing from an a-minus to an a-plus if you guys have any more ideas on changes that should be made to the series or perhaps comments on things that I change just leave it in the comment section below thanks for watching [Music]
