How to Clear Forms in Adobe Acrobat Pro: An Adobe Forms Crash Course to Make You a Forms Expert!

in today's tutorial I want to show you how to clear forms in adob Acrobat Pro before we continue my name is B Remo from Ab publisher [Music] LLC now I have the form open this is just a simple financial statement supposing that this simple financial statement is for the year 2023 so in this case I'm going to select 2023 now the total income for that year is $100,000 rent 10,000 salaries 20,000 and utilities 30,000 so we'll click on this button to calculate the profit which is $440,000 now what I want to do here is to calculate a certain percentage of this profit for example let's say the CEO of the company takes 50% if I enter 50% and click on this button you can see that the half year profit is 20,000 now the form has be completed but if I want to if I want to F this form again I have to clear all these values so if I click on the clear button as you can see all these fields all these text boxes and these two have been returned to their default values unfortunately as you can see the radio buttons are not clear if I send this form to a client is going to have this radio buttons exactly as they are uncleared that is not good what I'm going to do is to switch this Adat Pro to the design mode by clicking on prepare form if you don't see it here you can just come to tools scroll down a little and you can see it here prepare form select select it now we are in the design mode so I'm going to do is to go to more and click clear for form now we can just save this now let's go back to the preview mode and look at the form again as you can see the videoo buttons have been cleared now let me fill in some random numbers just to show you how this form Works let's put 100,000 here at the total income for the year 10,000 for rent 20,000 for salaries and 30,000 for utilities if I click on this button I can calculate the profit for the year which is 40,000 here I can enter 50% this going to be the the half of the this is going to be 50% of the profit for the year 2023 so what I want to do is to click on this button so I able to get my profit after 6 months as you can see this is $20,000 now let's assume that this simple financial statement is for the year 2023 three so this radio buttons I'm going to select 2023 now the form is been completed if I click on the save button and I try to send this form to somebody as it is all this data will go with the form let's close the form and re open [Music] it so I open the form again now let me fit it to one page as you can see all the data I filled in previously have returned so if I give this form to a client he going to see all these values there this I think is not good so what I want to do here is to clear all these values including the radio button now I have a clear button here already so I if I click on this as you can see all the text fields and the values here have been cleared but the radio buttons are not cleared so what I want to do is if I want to clear everything at once I have to switch I have to switch this form to the design mode you can do that by clicking on the prepare form if you don't see it here in your copy of the adob Acrobat Pro can just go to tools and you see it here prepare form we are now in the design mode all you have to do is to go to the more section and select clear form now I believe the form is clear but to check it out let's click on preview as you can see the radio buttons have been selected and the form is now back to normal so this way I can send the form to my client in the default uh mode now let's close the form one more time and check it again but before then let's click on save so if I close the form one more time and then you open it you can see that the form is now back to normal now I hope you understand how to clear forms in adob acoba Pro in one of my future tutorials I will show you how to create a simple financial statement like this now a couple of this sample financial statements is available for your download in the comment section below my name is B from Ab publisher LSC [Music] bye-bye
