[Music] hi my name is Bao from Ab publisher LLC in this video tutorial we are going to learn how to use Libra office 7.6 to create a simple membership form as you can see on my screen right now you also learn how to export this membership form to a PDF format so that you can complete the form as you can see on the screen I have put the links to download a sample of this JPEG and another sample of the completed uh PDF form so that you can follow along with the video easily before we continue don't forget to subscribe to our Channel like and share this video so that whenever I post awesome video tutorials like this you'll get notified easily are you ready to get started now let's go as you can see I already have a lib office 7.6 installed on my system so let's open this the next step is to create a new file for this project as you can see here you can click on file new and select a new file from the drawing package so let's do that now we're going to save this file as simple membership form simple membership form click say now on the left you can see Pages this represents collection of pages that I'm going to use in this project right now I have only one page and you can also see grid lines these lines are very helpful for placing drawings accurately if you don't want to use them just click on display grid so that it can disappear you can also click on Snap to grid so that um you will not need to see them at this point in time I'm going to add one more page so that I'm going to use the second page to create uh the new form and the first page to import uh the sample jpeg I showed you a while ago so let me right click on this and select new page now we can give these names if you right click on the first page you can actually rename this and call it a sample second page will contain the form that we want to create so we rename this and simply call it a form or any any similar name that you like now if I go back to the first page I'm going to import the jpeg has showed you earlier on which is a sample of the form we want to uh create so click insert image select the sample form and place it on on the screen on the first page at this point in time I'm going to make use of the grid line that I showed you earlier on but before I continue let me quickly show you how to get this um graphic toolbar this toolbar is very helpful for placing shapes like rectangle Circle and so on if you don't have it um if you don't have yours here you can simply you can simply go to shape insert and you can see various classes of our shapes all over here this is for inserting lines different different types of lines arrows and so on this for CED polygons this is for connectors and this uh this is actually the package we need this is the toolbar we need which is for drawing ellip circle and so many other mathematical shape so if you need any of this you can just come here and select uh what I'm going to do right now is um to make use of the ruler on the top here the I want to do that is um since I want to clone this form this the sample I want to use since I want to clone this form it will be very helpful to place a rulers and guides where I'm going to um around whatever I'm going to copy now remember that I removed grid lines the other time I'm simply going to put them back right now I can simply use this but if you don't have this toolbar this is called the standard toolbar if you don't have this standard toolbar on your copy of the liberal office you can simply go to tools options Libra office draw then go to grid so simply select snap to grid and visible grid now this number here represent the space or the distance between two horizontal grid lines and this also represent a similar thing for the vertical grd lines you have to make sure they as small as possible but I think 0.1 is just uh okay for the project so I'm not going to change these values anymore I'm simply going to click okay to accept the grid lines as you can see the grade lines are already showing behind this are form now the next thing I'm going to do is to make use of uh the rulers over here and here so what I'm going to do is select the form click on the ruler and drag it down to the top of this light blue box this light blue box is the first thing I'm going to draw in my new form over here now you can see that this ruler I just dropped is also showing on my new form even though I don't have anything there now I'm going to take another ruler drag it if it doesn't drag just select the form go back and drag the second line just below the light green box now similarly click on the the ruler and draw a vertical line place it just on the left of the blue box do the same thing again and place that on the right of the to box if you go to your empty form right now you can easily see that the four lines are positioned accurately exactly at the point where I want to put my light blue box or rectangle now like I explained earlier on go to shape you can easily take um you can simply take the rectangle here or if you like go to insert go to basic shape and select your rectangle now starting from this point draw the rectangle as you see me doing it just about uh that point the next thing I'm going to do is to go back to the form and look at the color that I have here now there are several ways you can copy this color um you can actually install a plugin on your Windows operating system that can be used to copy this color here I'm going to put a link in the description on how you can download this plugin it's a small software that can simply copy color from anywhere in your system you can copy colors from web pages or any other other windows on your on the screen so once you install this plugin all you need to do is you press shift key the window key and c key so what you see uh what is going on here is that this software has copied what we call the hex code for this color that you see on the screen which is um d a e CFA so click on this again this window will pop up to allow you to copy the hex code or the hex format of that color so I'm going to click here to copy the color now I can close um this window now go to my form select the form here now I'm going to go to the um color tool bar right now I'm not seeing the color tool bar right here but the color tool bar is actually part of the property tool bar if you don't see this property tool by here all you have to do is go to insert uh go to view and click on status uh bar as you can see it's already there if it's not there click on it and select status back so all you have to do is to click on view and then select toolbar click on view scroll down and then select sidebar so this sidebar as you can see has disappeared because I unselected it so let's click again view sidebar and then you can see it here so what you need to do is that this sidebar actually consists of five other uh toolbars we have the property toolbar we have the Styles toolbar the image or Gallery toolbar rather the Navigator and uh the shapes toolbar I'm going to make use of this now if you don't see I'm going to make use of um the first to bar which is the properties to Bar you can actually expand this tool by if you like so you can see it better now as you can see after selected my um my background rectangle here you can see I can us change the color here if you don't see this color indicator you can simply go here and select color from the field the field uh menu so open this done Arrow select custom color now go to the S code delete this one and paste the code we copied earlier on so as you can see the color has appeared like I said earlier on if you don't have this plugin installed just a matter of coming here and select the color that you can feel is close to what you need that's as simple as that once this is done you may want to close this properties bar like this or simply leave it alone so this is done now go back to the original form and look at the next to do right now I can see two shapes this and this now I'm going to create another rectangle because there are two of them I'm going to divide this rectangle into two now if we go back to the original shape let's use the space right here so once it is completed we can move the two shapes up here like we did earlier on take a shape from here so select a rectangle here and draw um this rectangle a little smaller than this as you can see in the um original copy you want to know the exact size of the shape you want to draw you can make use of the ruler that you put here the other time move this ruler to the top here and move this one just below the this two uh shape just below this rectangle shape if you don't see the shape clearly you can simply come down here and zoom in sorry you you zoom out here you can simply come here simply come to the zoom in button which is a plus sign and click on it until you can see it very clearly if you like to see the size of this shape you can simply come to this side you can see that from 1 to two indicat 1 in this rulers here are this rulers are making use of units of inch as you can see here if I right click on this as well right click on this you can see it's inch you right click on the horizontal ruler you can also see inch so that you know what um unit you are working with so this shape here and this other one of course are 1 in Long now if I want to know the length of the two shapes together I can simply go here you can see from one and this around 7.5 or 7.6 in so if I go back to the original shape here I can take a measurement of what I need if you select this ruler here you can come down here you see that the the width of this rectangle is about 6.58 and the height is 1.2 since our original Source says that the shape is 1 in I can simply go and reduce the size of this why keeping my eye on on the height of this um rectangle from this status bar now just a little bit more and I'm just um there I think is close enough now to get to um the second shape I have to break this shape into two but if you look at this original shape closely looks like there's another shape in between here that form uh forms what we call a parallelogram in mathematics so to create this shape I'm going to go to this shapes bar this place precisely open this and look for the shape of a parallelogram which is uh this so I'm going to come out with that and draw a parallelogram somewhere here the same height as the rectangle so I'm going to select this move it a little bit just about that place just as we can see over here so once you've done that you are going to select the um select this arrow and use it to select the two shapes which are now combined as a one shape right now what I'm going to do is right click go to shapes and then going to subtract this will um help us to subtract the rectangle the parallelogram from the rectangle now you can see I've used this technique to divide the rectangle into two and now have one shape and another shape but there's still a problem right now this shape is still showing as one shape if you are okay with that you can move it to this place and you are done but sometimes we want to make use of these two rectangles are these two shapes separately so what we do in that case is select the two shapes again just like theay room right click um go to split once you click on this you now discover that two shapes have been separated which I think is better so I'm going to move this first shape here put it exactly at that point you may make use of the arrows on your toolbar you can make use of the arrows on your keyboard sorry to do that so you you can make use of the arrows on your keyboard to position the shape accurately take the second shape drop it somewhere around there make use of the up and down arrows left and right arrows as well on your keyboard and with that you're done of course the next thing I'm going to do is to give this the color that you can see in the background of um this rectangle and this like you dider we can make use of our plugin our Windows plugin to copy the color of this first rectangle so like I explained earlier on press the Windows key press the shift key and press the c key all together and the code is U is out click on this copy the code close this window go back here select this and go to your properties toolbar go to the color uh selector click custom color delete the existing hex fode and paste your own and the color is out I'm going to do the same thing for the other smaller shape here so I'm going to select this rectangle here and select the color for that but right now I don't know the color so I'm going to go to this second shape and press the same keys I explained earlier on to copy the color now click on this copy the color as we did earlier on go back to um the form you are creating select the shape custom colum change the X hex code as you can see now we're there now the next thing in this process is to insert the text membership form corporate business this small line the logo and the um company name so I'm going to start with the logo actually so we go back to the form select this insert image then I'm going to look for my logo my system which is um right here so select and logo is out but right now it's too big so what you do is click and hold one of the handles of this logo and move it down as you can see me doing so as to reduce the size click and drag it drop it inside the shape over there I think it's still too big so I can just reduce the size a little bit and move it somewhere right about there you can use the forward and backward arrows on your keyboard to make your necessary adjustment so if you look at the original copy of this form the next thing we supposed to do is um to put the company name over there so what you do is uh we need to write text so what we do is um because we are using the Libra office draw module to write text on this form you are going to make use of what we call the text boxes or text are Fields so I'm going to find that under insert text box and then you'll notice that the CER has changed to a small plus sign over here so just come over here and draw a small rectangle shape over here and here I'm going to type AB publisher LC right now the font size is too big no problem just select select the text Bo over here then go to paragraph sorry go to character uh module and select a smaller font size possibly 10 should work okay that is too big can go for something like eight right you can adjust the size of this U text box by moving one of these angles left or right as you can see now can I adjust this now I can see that um the text box is still a little bit too big so I'm adjusting it and another thing I need to do is um if I select this text box again I can actually come here and change the text color to white by selecting this now I can make use of the arrow key to make small adjustments select the um text box press the forward Arrow key and make necessary adjustment let's drop this down a little bit seven I think should be okay good so I'm going to move this right here now that we done if you look at the jpeg copy we have over here we need to insert this membership form so if I go back I'm going to make use of the text box once again by going to insert and then writing and selecting text box just about there so in capital letters I'm going to write membership form now these two text um actually need to be in different colors but right now let's just select the text box and make this font bigger let's try 24 so this I think just about okay okay actually we can make use of um we can increas the size a little bit more let me just drag this tool bar to the left so I can see the arrow here for selecting font size let's look at 28 okay we look at that I think is just about okay so select this I'm use the arrow on your keyboard to move it a little to the left now I want to change the color of this membership to White so you can just highlight membership alone go back here and select your white color now as you can see the other word here is form which is in a different color the same color we use over here so what we need to do is um select form now we need to go to the color two bar in the um for so the next thing to do is to change the color of this this word form by going to the character menu go to this font color changer select this then look for the color you use earlier on which um is any of these two I think they're the same you just select this and then the color is there one more thing if you look at this text looks like it's bolded so I want to do that I can simply select the whole text box as you see me doing like so that simply click on Bold and um you can see the text is now barded the next thing there is to write this word corporate uh these two words corporate business so to do that it actually make use of the text we've written earlier on just copy that move it over here and change it if you like to make things fast I'm going to select this same text over here now press contrl C and contrl V to create a copy now move that out of this place here at this point I'm going to change the text Insight not only that I'm going to um I'm going to space these words so that um as you can see here this these two words actually have what we call character spacing character spacing is used to make text beautiful so what I'm going to do now is I'll select this text box click the arrow um Just Around Just Around Here SE character spacing as you can see click this arrow and select one of these tight loose which I think I'm just about okay here so if you don't if you not satisfied with the options here you can actually type your own here maybe 3.5 and press the enter key now select this and do here here and actually make the um make the text bar actually uh larger than that so close this up move this move it somewhere here now what I'm going to write inside is corporate business so I'm going to double click right here press contr a to delete the text and there put my own corporate business just like so widen this a little bit and reduce this a little bit so as you can see that's almost done okay let's place exactly where is over there think somewhere here just about okay now I need to insert this small uh line now to do that all you have to do is um go to any of this either this or this to draw your line if you like you can just use the character you can use the the uh minus bar minus button you can use the minus button on the keyboard to do it but to learn more how to use this two bar let's make use of the line so to make sure that um this line is perfectly horizontal I'm going to make use of let me just undo this using this button I'm going to make use of the shift key once you press the shift key on your keyboard and you draw the line it's going to be horizontal as you can see I've dropped the shift uh key I've released the shift key and I've released my mouse button and now I have the uh the line right now let me zoom in so that you can see this more clearly I need to change um the size of this line it has to be thick actually so if you come to this under the line menu see this line character click this Arrow here and take a slightly thicker oh sorry what you do is come to um the line menu go to the width selection click this and select a slightly thicker line I think this will be okay actually the next one all right um the color of the line is okay but if you feel that you need to make um a change to the color simply come here select the color we have been using before and that's just about it now if you go to the original line you see that actually shorter than what I have right now so select the line again click this and hold the shift button down and move this a little to the left all right so can use the forward Arrow key on your keyboard to move this line closer and down just like you can see um in the original copy here think we need to move it up a little bit just about there I think it's okay now let's Zoom this out now before we continue don't forget to subscribe to our Channel like and share this video so that whenever we post awesome video tutorials like this you will get notified now you're welcome back as you can see we've done the header of the form we still have a lot of work to do you can see the next thing we're supposed to do here is to create this this bar over here where we have registration form and the small um shape I'm going to select this form move this line down here the top of the just about the top take the second line here since we are no longer using it for that move it down here it's about okay you can zoom a little bit to see this better to zoom in you can also make use of the lens over here so if we click that just click here once or twice twice now I can see it better you want to zoom out make use of the crossover here on the status bar to fit um the whole form or page in the window so let me Zoom again now I'll need two more lines vertical lines to Mark the position of this um the vertical position of this rectangle so let me select this um selector now take select the form take this line over here and drop it just about just about here and do the same on the right hand side as you can see we've created the space over here between here and here so I'm going to insert another rectangle in this place so take your rectangle box over here can leave a little space over there so right about here draw your shape okay you may need to zoom in a little now I'm going to draw a second rectangle for the other small box here so select the rectangle over here to adjust that a little bit okay can make a bit smaller like that um let's zoom out and see what we have so this can adjust a little bit to change the color you can simply select the box go to the color selector over here select the color over here recently used colors which I think is this now for this one going to select the second rectangle go back to the color selector and select this Oracle here at this point in time you can see we are pretty close except that this particular rectangle seems to be too big now let's zoom in I can see this better now I want to reduce the size of this just about half somewhere there is okay can also increase the the height a little bit okay now select this move it right next to this also redu the size of this a little bit and this a little bit all right let's zoom out now at this point what we need to do is um to write the text over here the text that says director or president or chairman now to do this is not really difficult so what we do is um move this rulers over here move the second one so I can have an idea of where to type um this text so let's go back we can see that the shape is already here so I'm going to type in that text so I will go to insert text box let me Zoom a little bit so I'm going to draw text box here that I'm going to use to write my text now if you go by you can see from here that what I need to write is director/ President SL chairman so I'm going to take um oh the text box has disappeared I have to redraw that about here let me just um do it again director need we need a column here now at this point I'm going to reduce the font of this text so we go to the character the character uh toolbar go to the character toolbar select smaller font over here all right still a little bit smaller like 10 should be okay can compare with the original uh font size now I select this text box reduce the size of the text box since we don't need um this much move this up make sure it's right inside the text box Zoom me a little bit now I'm going to put the DAT so I'll go back right now you can make use of the same text box to write the date so I'm going to select this far away we up to this point now click on this make use of the space bar and somewhere here you can put um the dates and make use of a ruler as well for this so if I come here and click put a ruler here so I know where to start typing it so here I'm going to um actually click inside the text box over here here and type date go to a column all right now if at any point in time you need to see what you are doing um more closely you can just remove the guide so that you can see how far you've gone zoom out and look at how far you've done beautiful let's compare that to the original form I think we are pretty close now don't forget that um we need to type some text inside this I can see here I need to put um registration form so I'm going to come right here and insert um a text box remember that that initially there is a text box over here you can see it's already there now this text box has been colored so but double click you can see I'm allowed to put text inside there let me just try that see okay registration form okay there are two problems right now this text has to move to the left side of the text box so as you can see here I need to select the left alignment because the text is right in the center now but when I click this it t get flushed to the left side of the form now let's compare that to the one we have over here now I need more space so it looks like this text uh is just too big the font size is too big so I'm going to select all the test in there go for a smaller front like 10 which I thinking just about okay so let's look at the original and I need to space these characters as you can see over here so select the um text once again click this small Arrow beside the set character SPAC canate any of this like I explained earlier on lose I think just about okay okay so little big big so I just do it over again can do it again let's go to the value the custom value over here and change it to 2.5 right so I think that's just about um okay for now okay the next thing to draw is this um sh this rectangle over here which is supposed to represent the text box for putting in the name the name of the director or president so what I'm going to do is um I'm going to get the position of this position of this box by making use of the ruler as usual okay the other rulers have come out so I can simply make use of the one I have right here so let me move this to this position we don't need any ruler at any point in time we can just grab it here press and hold the left Mouse button and move this back to the ruler the line will simply disappear so can I adjust this um actually I need that same R again let me bring it back so place it over here okay so inside this I'm going to draw a text box of course on my original form here so go to um insert select text box and draw okay let's just put some T text there right now so um this font size is to Big redu this to n okay this up Zoom you can see this better all right now this um text is not needed this expected to be filled by the user of the form just this yes all right so Mouse and save our phone so as you can see the text box is just about there if you don't see it you can simply remove the guide can see that um we have you over there now go back to the original form the next thing is to insert this um date selector this selector is actually part of the let me just make use of a r right here so that I know exactly where it is or exactly where I want to place it about here okay let me use this one right okay I can also make use of the original um shape over here excuse me see do that move this oops this Mo this not correctly okay go back to the form now I'm going to put selector over here so what I'm going to do here is um this we enable the user to select the data they want so what I will do is here is I'll go to insert go to form control and then somewhere here um you can see dat field is over here so I take this they use that to draw my text field now as you can see more controls are out of here so if I right click on this I'll select um control properties and then I can make some U adjustment I can actually enter some settings here so right here under the general tab you can see the name of the date the date date field one if you like you can change this or leave it as it is now when you scroll down you will see some um values that we can adjust now right here we can actually uh make this date fi visible or Not by simply selecting yes and no but for me I want to make it visible now I can make this read only because um I don't want the user to type in the date by himself I have to select yes read only but now I want to achieve two I want to achieve two fits with this I want the user to be able to type in the date or be able to actually select the date so I'll leave this as no read only no now I've go to printable yes because I want the form to be printable um if I go down further I can see the minimum date here so if I want to limit uh the date the user can enter I can make use of that here by simply clicking this calendar button for example if I want to if I want to limit this to say somewhere let me just type that over here it's better let's make this 2,000 so that the user cannot enter any dates um before year 2000 similarly I can enter a maximum date I think that the user not allowed to enter any date uh above 2050 I can just type that there now the date format is here I can go and select kind of dat form that I want now remember that if I want to calendar the date Cal uh the calendar to pop up here if I want the calendar to pop up I have to select um one of these four so let me just take standard shots this this one will be is okay now the default date I can actually put a date there in the date field that will show up before the user enters enters their own date otherwise I can just leave this empty so the SP button I don't need that right now I repeat I don't need that now this numbers represent the exact position of the Dee feed box over there so in case you need to move it up down left or right can just just um change these numbers but I don't think you need that right now um now the background color you can see over here currently is white so if you need to make use of um a background color for the date I think you can do that right here so let me make use of one of the colors we've um used earlier on um okay let me just take this this looks U nice now I can make use of the uh the border the border that is the the frame of this text box I can decide to make it looks like 3D can make it um to appear without any frame make it flat so it just depends on what you like I think I let the 3D look so let me leave that now the drop down uh button can make a drop down button appear here so that the user can know that um they can actually select the data I think that um that's okay let me select yes for that height selection uh that's also okay I think for the setting we are pretty done here so I can uh just close this now remember all this while we've been designed this form we can actually test the form to see what is going to happen so what I'm going to do right now is um let me save this form and zoom out so let's take a break for a while I'll be back after this a timeout now you're welcome back now what I want to do now is to actually test um this form especially the date field to see if it's going to work so what we need to do right now is go to the insert box no go to the view box rather and um go to toolbar scroll down a little bit you will see the form design control form controls I think this should be okay now look at this button here it's called Uh design mode now this button is is enabl right now because we're in design mode so if I want to go to the preview mode all I have to do is to disable this button and I'm there now let me Zoom a little bit so that you can see what I want to show you I to show you something now if you come back here and press this Arrow you can see the calendar will pop up this will allow the user to be able to select the DAT that he wants as you can see can choose one of this um between 2023 and 2025 and then you change the calendar otherwise the if you want to select today's date for example can select the number here and Press today and that sorry let me just um remove this for a while so select the this date press that and Press today here and done that date automatically appears in the calendar text field otherwise you may have to use this um for and back arrow to select other dates and the past or other dates in the future so can select any date among this and then click um just press the enter button on the keyboard and you're done right now I don't need to set any date because this form this form is not yet um completed so and similarly if I want to type in the date over there I can type any date I want as you can see that's another way to do it so again let me just um leave all this empty by pressing the non button now then we go back to the design mode Let's zoom out a little bit now let's go back to um the original form and see what next uh needs to be done the next thing right here is just to put in this text and three radio buttons membership type regular exclusive or VIP so to do this let me select this form I'm bring my ruler so that I can position this um texts exactly where I want on my phone okay let me Zoom a little bit more okay disable the zoom lens now let's pick one more here maybe this move it to this place so I can create um uh we can create uh the place for holder for our text so if I go back here you can see the place is already here this rectangle is where we're going to put a membership uh you can see it membership type so I'm going to take another text box insert that over here so inside here I'm going to type me excuse me membership now this text right now is too big so what I'm going to do is select the text box itself you can just hide it somewhere or even close it now let's go back to the character menu and uh change something like 10 I think we'll be using 10 all alone okay so I'm going to reduce the size of the text box um do from there okay seems like kind to reduced so let's just use the um arrows on the keyboard to fit this in here make this actually long now if I look at the original one can see this text is bed think a little bit smaller too uh so let me select the text box again yeah CH it to something like um eight okay say the text here is a little bit smaller than this I think this was 10 and this is um eight so membership membership type membership type okay put a column here I think that a column yes right now here I'm going to insert three uh radio buttons so just go to insert go to form controls and then look somewhere somewhere here we going to find a button it's actually called option button here so I'm going to select this um let me just do it outside here can just push it later to the our radio button it's fine now I can move this inside here if you feel is too big let's Zoom a little bit and check it's not too big for that place make a little bit smaller is all right now we need to go back to um control properties so that we can actually make this look a little bit uh pretty so in the control property you can see that this is called option button one because because it's the first one so what I can do here is um I can change the name if I want I don't think we need to do that right now let's scoll that a little bit this button has to be enabled another thing that we need to do that I forgot to mention is um we need to group this they are going to be we're going to have three radio buttons so it's good to group them um the same category so let me just call this me membership membership group scroll down look for more settings we can uh actually make here default status don't think we need is right now we scroll down you can actually choose the style of uh our radio button you can take 3D or flat I think I like the flat yeah then the alignments don't need this right now this actually refers to the alignment of the text so the text is going to be on let me just close this I'll come back short you can see that the text is on the right side of the the option button so let me go back can actually expand this to find out if there're going to be a text more you can see I have some text over here but right now it looks too big so I'm going to correct that um no why so let's go back to the control properties scroll down to where I have this um radio button on the left side of the text and the style is flat so what I'm going to do is change the font over here can actually click this and select a different font and a different font size so if I come here I want to use open SS I like that font um so let me take open s s board and then for the font size I can still make use of N I think it's pretty okay here or can just choose a eight so click okay um this text we need to change it zoom out a little bit so what I will do is that the label I'm going to change the label here I'm going to put regular here because that's what I have on the um original form over there you can just confirm that you can see it's regular now I'm going to produce two more um option buttons or radio buttons here so all you have to do is you can just copy and paste this press contr c contr v move that to this side P the second button okay now we're going to change the text because this is supposed to be exclusive so I'm going to right click on this go to control properties and we bring this up this is going to be labeled as exclusive okay now not only that I need to look through there's any other things I need to change I don't think there's any much I need to change because actually copied the settings of the first radio button from here to this place but as you can see this word is not uh it's cut so all you have to do is just move the handle here a little bit to the back like can have your and again we need to move reposition some of this so that um can have a space for the third radio button so I'm going to copy contr c v to copy this I can get the third radi button somewhere here use the arrow key to move this around is just about I can zoom in to be able to position this more accurately so about there okay this and this now I need to change this to uh VIP so right click on this go to control properties change this name to VIP and that's just about it other thing that we need to do um I already done automatically will be copy this over here so let's close this and then we are done can actually reduce this come over here so um there's another thing we can do let me just zoom in a little bit actually let me just take all this out and look at the form there still something um the buttons are not evenly spaced so what I do is that let me take my selector button over here select these three radio buttons now in the position and size uh menu okay we we can actually go to the distribute uh button over here in the standard two bar if you don't see this you can actually go to view tool bar down here you see standard tool bar it's already checked you can see it's already checked over here so I don't need to check it again that will bring all these controls here so I go to distribute section sorry here open this and I have to select one of this now what I want right now is that I want these buttons to be spaced evenly horizontally on spacing so I click this as you can see these buttons have been realigned and um they look uh much better so let me put back my grid let me zoom out and uh let's click the save button now if I go back to the original copy of this form zoom in a little bit can see this is done the next thing to do is just to produce this um text applicant stroke account holders name now in the because of this work it's very easy to just copy um the text you've done previously and use it to produce another text so I can just copy this and use it for this now before we do that let's just make use of the ruler again so that we can get the position you want to actually put this text so move the second one a little bit Yeah I think is okay so go back to the original form there so inside here I'm going to put um the text so we can actually copy this just go back to this okay we can make use of this T this looks too big so can make use of this text and um use to write this one so if I go here I make use of c contr v move this down here sorry move this down here of course of course this doesn't have any radio buttons so we can see the radio button is not copied actually even if it is you can just delete can delay them so here I'm going to put um I'm going to put applicant account holders name so delete this all right that is done um what we need to do next is um create this text box okay you can see in the original form is not well positioned you can do better than this so let's just insert a text box right here and uh move it as far as this end of the form so can just let take my selector move this excuse me and just select the form remove this don't need this right now okay so we can make use of this right here this can just um remove it can make use of this okay for the horizontal line make use of this what okay since we don't need this to just undo that [Music] we this so text was going to appear between this and this line so go to insert take the text box [Music] let's just put some random text there as a place holder go to that you can see there's not supposed to be anything and this box gets to the go to the end of the form so I go back select this again can pull it all the way here now this this um front size is too big let going go for 9 or eight think it's better I'm going to reduce the size of this say have to go down to it okay move it a little bit way here let's go the left and see it's about there all right we have to delete this text actually the user of the form is going to type down own text in there the text is there as you can see but to see it better so have to remove this text let's save this take that here take let's put some empty space there okay so you can see the F You Don't See just remove the grid and see that the text box is there so next we're going to here we going to draw this um box over here looks like looks very much like this one so like we did the other time we just copy this bring it down and then change the text inside so let's just um go for a guide for that let's click on the ruler and make use of the guide that we already have so bring this line over here okay make use of this below I just about it so let's go back to the can see the um Place holder here so let's make use of this and this one let me zooming a little bit there are two boxes is there actually another way to do it is you can just copy can come here and copy all this the two boxes over here okay so contr c contr v press the down arrow key and this is just move down to to where you want to go so you just right here so the same button the next thing to do here is um to put this the form uh the form uh content actually the first name text box last name text box and the date of birth for the date you can actually clone this you can make a copy of this and bring you down here we can adjust the values if necessary now for this is very simple all we need to do is make use of a some text I think a little bit smaller than this one so if we go back to the form okay sorry before we do that let's make use of the the ruler for this okay over here make you of this yeah that will help us to know where to put our first name the first name and uh the text box we go back there I think this is just about okay the size of this so we can actually copy this copy it move it down to this place Zoom a little bit and just simply change this to double click change this to first name okay this TT to Big just that like so now I'm going to put the place but before I want to put this sper before I do that let me just quickly put this um this other one so let me just move down here I want to Mo down here okay so we go back and copy this crl c contrl v move this to Simply we can simply call this last name I'm will click inside there s that to last name okay done okay now for the two text boxes over here I can um make use of the previous text boxes I've done somewhere here of this text verses are not cently visible or we can just draw um another one so go to inser text box that have an idea of how long it should be let on um here like that and this let's put a place there now select text box go for think is always been very nice so just select this crl C control v c v and move that off created the first um text box just about there second right so here now we have two text boxes this and this now all these text boxes we have been placing here and there we can actually view them if you come to the sideb over here and you click on um Navigator you see this long list shows a list of all the shapes currently on our form so if we zoom out and select any of them can see that automatically they selected on the page so select the next one and see this one we created the other time this as well and so on and so forth the uh the advantage of this if I need to delete anything and I don't see it on the screen I can actually make use of any of this or if something is there right on the page and I don't see it I can actually come here to confirm so as you can see I have those two text boxes I just created it's up the lower one and then the upper one down here I think I should be able to move this here okay so that I have the upper one there I have the lower one so drag and you click and hold the mouse button it drag you to where you want it to be so I've inserted this up which is the right place and then this one here so that's just about what the um the Navigator menu dots if you want to delete any of this you can actually delete right on the page you can't delete over here can see you can only rename it so I need to give it a different name I can actually do right here and then I can type in here but I don't think we need to do that right now so let me go back to the property box Zoom now don't forget that um these are just placeholders just put put a small space sorry and come to this delete the G and just replace it with cck G put small space just about it want to see it remove this oh have my textbox disappear there and just I know they there just that additionally think they gone can see there so same thing here text is stay there or if you feel that you don't see the text go to view um toolbar then go to form controls so here is the to again can just uncheck this then we now we go to the prev mode move this so you can see that I have the two text boxes see the prev mode so let me go back in design let's save this [Music] another way to make this text boxes visible is to actually um show their brothers so to do that select let's start with the uh the first text box select It Go to to the line menu in the sidebar and you look at this line click this and select this line continuous line so you see immediately you did that um you can see the text box is not visible with aborder so let's do the same to second one here select the line then take the first continuous line so that way you can make the text boxes visible so it doesn't matter now whether you turn on the grid or not the text boxes will always be invisible as you can see in the original copy of this form now if you go back to the original form you can see the next thing to do is um this this um date of birth so I'm going to put that right now can just copy one of these um Tech boxes we designed later on let me Zoom a little bit so as usual press contrl C control V and um and bring it bring the copy over here of course we need to reduce the size of this uh text box so double click inside to change the text date of birth so that's okay so that is done I want it align with the uh text box for last name so I'm going to bring this down a little bit use the down down arrow on my keyboard to do that I can look like um it's in our original copy so now I'm going to copy this as well contr c contr v bring that down place it right next to uh the text box place it right next to the date of birth now at this point in time time um and we want to actually give this different properties different properties uh in the sense that I want to make some changes so let's select this right click on it then go to control properties now if you scroll down a little you will see where we have minimum date we can't use 2,000 because if if the form user is actually older if he was if if he or she was born before year 2000 they're limiting this minimum date doesn't make sense so what I'm going to do is um can I adjust this can put something like 1900 which to me makes more sense over there now for this one maximum dat doesn't really matter this just represents a date in the future so it doesn't I don't think it matters what whatever you put in here so you can just leave this as um as it is and um scroll down and see if there's any other little adjustment want to make to me every other thing looks okay I still want to use the drop down menu for date selection and height selection is also okay because if there's nothing inside the form here then the values will be hidden so let's close that and and that is done now go back to the original form and let's see what's next here I have a full address of the user of this pH so what I'm going to do here is um I first need to put this uh text full address so I can just copy one of these can make use of this um this one here last name CR C CR V to create to create a copy and move it down with down arrow vertically it's just about there if you want to put it exactly where it is there just the same thing we've been doing select the form then bring click on the ruler to reveal some of the existing uh lines that your ruler created so I can just move this here and this one here this one here maybe a little bit there and take another one like this it down here okay so we go back to this page type our you see I almost got to the other typ okay so let double click inside here and change this to F address to put a Col there think I need to widen this um text box a little and uh reduce the height of the text box okay so I think that's just about it let me zoom in a little bit so we can see what is going on now I need to place um as you can see here I need to place this long let me close this I need to place this um long text box so represent the field where the user will type in the fold address so we go back to the form all I have to do I can clone one of this can copy one of these select contr c v use the down arrow to bring you down here okay it's like that and then I can pull this all the way to the end right now before we continue there's something that I want to show you sometimes we want to align these um text boxes so what I mean is that in this one of these text boxes is U not aligned with the other two let me just um show you what I'm talking about soos these are these three text boxes are not aligned as you can see on the screen what I'm going to do is I'll select the first one press and hold the shift key on your keyboard select second one select the third one now go to the alignment um icon here align object press the down arrow here then look at this left this means you want to align the text boxes um to the left so if I press this as you can see the three text boxes are now aligned this will help you to improve the appearance of the form so all I have to do now is just to extend this right to the end here as you can see now the next thing to put in here is um the status the status um text single marriage with four other um radio buttons so let me make use of this um rulers as usual this okay a little bit up I think just about um okay okay so zoom in a little bit so let me go to the to the form as you can see I need to type in the status here so all I have to do is I can just uh make use of one of this create a copy of that move down okay just like so um double click inside to change the text yeah for status okay I have colum there same thing here have two of these columns I take one out okay now go back to this I have to put this um four radio buttons now if you scroll up you see we've done something like this before look at this three you can clone this you can just copy this three boxes and come down here to check change the name we can as well create um new copies okay let's just do a new one so what I'm going to do here is um I have to open the tool bar for that tool bar for radio button can be found in the form controls so as you can see it is here so if I select this can come here and um create the first one just like so so like we did the other time I need to right click on this go to control properties the first thing to do we mustn't forget is um to give this a group name so this is um status this button is in the status group so let's just call it a status now this [Music] um you can check it down here you can see it's are single if I go back to this wait for this to load can just redo it so right click on this control properties so group name is status this is going to be single so um for the appearance of of the button I want to go for flat it looks more it makes more sense to me there and for the text okay I've I've done I've done that single so I think that's just about it now right now the text Bo looks too big for that I can just reduce a little bit now I can create a copy of this by pressing crl c contr v on the keyboard and use the um right arrow to move this to the left now if you go back to this place you want to put married here so right click on this select control properties change this to marriage I think that's all if belong to the same status sorry to the same group the group name status so I can put a little bit so make sure that uh the text is visible okay now create another copy of this use the forward um the right arrow to move that to the right side and as you can see here what you want to put here is a the so go back right click on this control properties and change the name to Theos okay I think there's one more others so select this create a copy use the right arrow to move that to the right side um this is going to be called others so let's right click and change the name change this to others close this and now reduce the size of the text box now in this case you can make a little bit of a just me move this a little left this about here this also it's okay one a little bit um we don't have enough SP okay we have enough space just this line that's actually mve to this side so we go back as you can see we have more space so we can just put that to the right just like so a little bit if you are worried about the spacing of this if you are interested in making them um spaced evenly then just select the four of them like that now what you do is you go to the not um align object somewh around go to the distribution icon here select this then go for horizontal spacing you can see it here once you click that you can see the four text boxes are now spaced that evenly so let's zoom out and see how our form look like so let's zoom out and see how the form looks are like now you want to save your work now I want you I want you to see something if you zoom into this form right now you can see some of our text are not um align as well but there's no there's no problem with that can just um select any of them any of these text boxes let me just uh reduce okay move to the right a little bit okay also come here now I want to align all these um text starting from this so press the shift key select this this this and this this and this so I'll simply go to the alignment icon and select align left as you can see that all perfectly align to the left side can use a ruler to test that let's move okay I have some rulers there already um can see let me zoom in a little bit you can see we have them aligned to the left is in this ruler just that away save and zoom out now let me remove move this um guides we can look at what we've done so far so if we go to the um the original copy over here I'll zoom in a little bit you'll see that um the next thing to do is to create this um nationality zip code religion city or country and email text Fields so we can do this um this are three right now so as usual let me just make is of the ruler bring this over here bring this here okay um use this uh use this ruler here okay so go to the form you want to put um nationality nationality over here so like you've been doing before can just copy this status text select this just like so contrl c contrl v use the down arrow to bring it here now I'm going to change this to okay and also move this a little bit see okay now I need to create um this text field here so I can just uh copy one of the ones we've done before so I'm going to do is um let me make use of this create a copy of that use the down arrow to move it down so at this point make a little bit adjustment over here this so if I look at the original copy here I need to know the length of this text box so I can just um bring a ruler here okay so just about the right U just about at the right place now the next thing over here is a zip code and another text box so what I'll just do is um just copy this select this text box CR C CR V then use the right arrow put that to the other side here so you can see all I have to do now is change this to zip zip code so double click inside that can press contr a to highlight everything if you like type zip code for the color okay just about it let's check so I need one more text box over here so you can just copy this crl C control v contrl v you use the right arrow to put that to the other side just like so I think I'm done with that now the next line here is religion city or country so what I'm going to do is um I can copy all this nationality text this text box zip code everything and bring them down here to make me work faster so I'm going to do it like this press and hold the mouse button the left Mouse button select select the four of them like that contr c contr v to create new copy simply move them down just like so if you're worry about the spacing you can just make use of the ruler again like so the other one go back you can see that um just about there I'm going to edit this text going to put um put religion inside here so okay religion and here double click delete that City Country you can see as I type that it looks like I need more space in that text box so just put this back to can actually reduce the size of the two text boxes over here or better we can move this one a little bit to the left same thing with this so we have more space over here so okay let's just move this a little bit to the left um okay got have to reduce this a little bit same thing with this also align them so let see okay that's good enough um this's move down a little okay let's check ReliOn City Country so that is done now we need to create the email uh field the email field can be done in the similar way so you have to do is just to copy one of this let's make of the make use of the ruler again Mo this down here here we need just um one text box so I'm going to copy start with this create a copy of that down here so I'm going to put um email in this space also going to copy this down here now I just pull this all the way to end over there let's check let it okay now what I need to do right now is um create this driver's lense text so I'm going to make use of this okay this one too to create um a guide for for where we're going to put the text and the four radio buttons the two texts drivers license and gender and um can just move this somewhere here okay so I go back to the form can enter my driver's lenses here so I'm going to copy one of this text move it down to this place okay so here I'm going to change the text to driv classes so just span the text box like so reduce the height like so now I need to put this um new text boxes over new radio buttons rather here it's going to be yes no so like we did earlier on we can actually get this um video buttons by going to the design mode so here it is click that first one it's done now right click like we did the other time control properties now we need to give give this um a group name so you can call this drivers drivers lense group we need to call this um yes so that's just okay that's all we need to do here can change this to okay you can change this to Flat that's my favorite okay you can see it's done can just reduce the space little bit let's check the original copy you can see it here now I need to create another copy of this CR c v then put that to the right side with your right arrow on the keyboard and copy is done except we have to change the text right click control properties change this to no okay we have yes there yes now so just change this to know let's go okay now we need to do a similar thing I can actually copy these three and use them to produce the the other two here so let's see how we can do that click outside here hold down the mouse uh the left Mouse button select the three of them oh seems doesn't want to do that try it again okay that doesn't work okay it's done so CR c contr v use the um right arrow button pull the three of them to this side somewh here is can see I aligned this you can make use of this here so that it's align with a City ZIP I go here actually move this two to the right this a little bit okay I don't have space there go I can leave it like that I'll just reduce the font size now I come here I need to change this text to um gender okay to gender to do this think I need a color here so this right click control properties the first thing we have to do here is change the group name to gender it's important changing these group names so that when the user selects when the user is try to make a selection of yes or no and this group is making use of a name that belongs to another group that's going to be a problem what I noticed from my experience is that if gender and driver's lances are sharing the same group name if you make a selection here automatically one other of these buttons there will also be selected that's the that's the problem why you have to that is why you have to use a proper um group name so that you don't want to select yes here and automatically yes is also selected on the other side so let me go here check if I have the group name correct as you can see the group name is still wrong let me put a gender here okay let me just check this again control properties you can see is correct and um the button style here is um flat it's okay now we need to change this to male female so right click control properties and change this to male similarly need to change this to female can expand this a little bit and that is done so the next thing is to go to the line object select align left so as you can see the three text have been aligned to the left okay the next thing we want to do is um to create this create this um Simple Text use the spaces below to provide additional information so what I'm going to do here is um I can take any this text and simply move it down here so let's create a guide for this here and here and move this somewhere here so just copy this move it down to the space Zoom me a little bit and uh sorry we can move this to S use the space below to provide additional information use the space below to provide additional information if then okay that's done save this as you can see we need to put one one last um one last uh box here so for the user to type in any additional information so I'm going to make use of the the ruler as usual so just to move this away I move this down here okay we don't need this away this one here so this is where we going to put our box you can see we have the space um marked out here we can actually make use of one of these um existing text boxes crl C control V and use the down arrow key to move it here so we can adjust um appropriately this up this down right select text box now to fill this with the appropriate color so we can go to close this go to the area men we go to the area menu select color here then select the appropriate color color so you can see we've used this color before or we can actually select anyone you like over here the extension you can make use of the extension installed in the windows to do this I already provided the link in the description for you to download this extension that will enable you to copy any color you want from Windows so to use this press the Windows key shift key and c key to see the color code click on it select the color code here close this window you go back to the form select the text box come to under the area section select color over here then click this go to custom color now this hex code is what you want to change so delete this and paste our own code so on select that the color is already copied there as you can see same color so this is done now um the next thing we need to do is to provide this group of our texts so this is the this represents the address of the um provider form so what I'm going to do here is make use of this um lines again let me zoom in a little bit move this line here and um move this line here just like so I need one more line let me take that from the ruler so go back to the form we going to put a text box here like we've been doing you can actually copy one of these I even copy this one but I've colored this let me just take one of the existing existing text boxes over there so contr c contr v move that down I bring it inside place okay resize it just like so you can see over here have that uh space so I'm going to type in this uh text so select this text box double click contact detail it looks like this text is going to be bigger than what we have over here so there's no problem with that can contr a and just go here and reduce the text size to seven I think should be okay so let me quickly put in the text and just um size this a little no problem with that so press enter key like alternatively you can go to shape um insert you can see lines and [Music] arrows so just go for a line that um does not have an arrow shapes tool bar so can we can um remove the guide go back to the as you can see we don't have any border around here so if we want to get rid of this B select this um text box so go to line you see this line here select this and check no so in that case we have only text um the text left no more text box actually it's there just that it's not visible so if you click somewhere here you can still see it so now let me zoom out of this and see what's next to do so I need also need to provide um the signature field so we can do that by actually drawing this line on top of which the signature will be provided and I need to type below that line auor signature so to do that let's provide um guide around that place so move this it's about there and I move this about here think this need to move a little okay that's okay um remove this so we go back to the form can see where we need to Pro the line and the text so inside the line we can go to this okay can see it on the top here so I try to draw this like that you can see that this line is not straight so let me just undo it so what we do is um select the line again I pick it up from here press the shift key and draw the line this will ensure that the line is um horizontal can move it with the left Arrow key to the left and use the up Arrow key to move it to the top now we can make this line a little bit thicker just go to the line menu in this um Side bar so see width can change the width of the line make it a little bit um 1.5 should be okay now I want to change the color to something like this can just um go to some of the colors we use earlier on this or this so I have that just like as um it's in the original form so now I need to type in this um text so of course you know what to do let's Zoom a little bit so I can make use of the existing text boxes here let me just copy this CR c contrl v and move that down so once we are here we can just adjust Mo a little bit adjust [Music] this move it up let me just do it over here back to like this the size of the font in there is too big let me just put some random text there press contr a now come over here and put a smaller text like eight so that will help you to make this a little bit smaller that in this place I can now change the text you want to align this select the text box um go to character section okay go to the paragraph section and select um align Center here that will help you to move the text let like so so click out click off from this and you can see now if you look at the original one here there is no line around the text box so if you want to remove that select the text box again then go to the um the line section then click on this and say no no line so as you can see you don't have a line around the text here so let's look Zoom this out so the last thing we need to do is to provide this um uh this bner over here small bner here similar to what we did on the top there so to to save time you can just copy all this this light blue byr the color this darker one this one and they TT everything you can copy and move them down here reduce the size as appropriate so look at how I'm going to do that um first I need to provide guidelines as to where I'm going to place this uh this Banner so by zooming can move this here and move this one here just like so and move the um vert the vertical line here move to this place and move this one too I remove this actually I believe that this Banner is the same size as um this so you will not really need to worry much about the length just the height of the box that matters so what I'm going to do now is um zoom out a little I'm going to click I can copy everything here so okay crl c contrl v then press the down arrow to move this down let scroll down we can use the mouse button to actually do it so pull everything down here so I'm actually targeting the top left corner for this to position this um text so once I Dro my mouse button I have this I look at your original shape the light blue B Banner here is um as to be the size has to be reduced so what I'm going to do is let me first move this out everything here we can group them together this can be grouped okay wait let's let's let's do it like this let's do it like this let's remove all this you can see we don't have any logo at this point so we can just remove all this press the delay select and press delete key on the keyboard select the um company name there okay now for this we can just change this text to thank you for your information um we need a smaller phone size so here I'm going to select this text box double click inside and change this to thank you okay this to thank you let me just try and select all the text and go for smaller Fone size something like 20 okay make it 18 okay thank you now we can delete this cut this off move to the front side so I'm going to change that text to for your information so I think everything is in the uppercase so okay thank you for your information I made this a little bit so this has to be uppercase see this long um I don't need I don't think I need this um text here delete that I don't need this that delete that I need to reduce the size of this U box and just put that up just like so you can see here you need to move it up a little bit so select the for text box can select the other um text below it or even reduce the height a little okay and move it into the on top of the body same thing with this you can go up check the original C can see it's just um longer than before can just use this and make it um okay so it looks like this is still too long so what I'm going to do is um okay let me start with the blue box first bring this up here okay getting closer for this can just put this down can make use of the ruler here as well so just R it here so what I need to do here is um this too long I just wa there and the text inside need to reduce the font size so um let me just come to okay I need to select the text first CR a to select all the text inside and come here change this to something like 15 that's better so go back to the edge of the text text box ruce that to match then select the outer the outer box which is for the background and put this into a little bit okay now you can now make this longer you want to do it exactly as on the original copy just matter of making use of the um vertical lines just bring this um here those are the bottom left edge of this uh box here I can leave this as it is so if I go back now can see that this needs to move this needs to move back well really all this doesn't matter if that's the way you like it so I think it just about okay this way so let's zoom out and see how everything looks like you can see at this point I have um pretty much clone this form here of course I may want to do some um little modification to make things uh look more beautiful and professional for example I need to move this text box um a little bit down ex so um let me see let's zoom in a little bit so look for what we need to adjust okay can leave a little space between this text and the box so just press select the text box itself o select this lower text box press the lower down arrow key now at this point I want to zoom out and um compared my form with the original one you notice that um on the top of this light blue box here I have a line in my own so like I said um earlier on as a point in this um tutorial can simply remove the border around any box that you want so once the box is selected um go to the line section in the sidebar yes the is it so go here click this and select um none no line and that line is gone so let's look at um the original copy and ours and see if we can make um more modification I zoom into the original a little bit I can see some of what we didn't do here I think it really doesn't matter these columns can be moved to a little bit to the right and uh we need to remove this um this doesn't look nice we have two of this so double click inside the box and remove one of the colors I think I pretty much okay with it having these colums where they are instead of trying to um align them like this now to nice it to nice things up I can see some of the text here needs to um we need some character spacing to make them look a little nicer for example if I go around here I can see some of this like this one for example let me show you how to do with this to select this go to the character section now you see this icon here can click this and select one of this to make um normal is just okay the loose make that space out a little bit if you don't like that actually go to the custom value and reduce this to say 1.5 so that makes the signature more visible I actually do that to all the other text over there but I think I'm pretty much um okay with this with all this as they are so at this point I think the form is um done now when I take a closer look at this form and the original one we can see some few differences for example some of these uh text boxes are actually thicker than um what we have in original form you can adjust that if you like let me give you an example of that you can select each of this and go to the um to the line menu and uh reduce the size sorry line width let me just widen this a little bit the width of the line drop you to reduce a little bit further something like this let's check that out so let's see this first one yeah that looks much better so can do that to the other textes as if you wish select this one just take um line withd first one five iect this take the first one and I think automatically this um boxes adjust themselves because they were copies of um each other if you remember some of this were copy from the previous ones so we not really need to actually um adjust all of them so let me just click out and okay this four here uh needs um adjustment let me just zoom in take this one line withd okay this one s 2.5 This One S 2.5 this select .5 okay let zoom out okay pretty much better and this box here looks um like the line STI shows can make this um Center select it may even remove the um the whole line actually so select line and select no make it look pretty pretty better like this one better than the original one here so if you want the line there actually you know what to do now on the second look I noticed something um this text box here is missing for director look at look at it here so there's no problem with that let me just zoom in I can actually insert a one let me go to the original one here use the ruler move this do it again okay select the form move the rer here I move this to the left um this just got lost along the way there's no problem with that we can just um create it right now this guide will help us put it exactly where it is supposed to be so let me take one of these ones here this be okay it's long CR c contr p to copy that and simply use the um up Arrow key and the left AR K to place it on where it's supposed to be think just about there let me just reduce the right hand side there let's take out and see going a little bit it's like so okay like that think it's pretty much okay so let's zoom out again and uh see difference I remove all these guidelines and rulers so that we able to see so you can see very much um nice now [Music] now at this point I want to make um a little bit um adjustments so we can see the whole form is a little a little bit um flushed to the left side of the page so let's do let's just um adjust that from this end I'm going to select whole form just like that and use uh use the left Arrow key on the keyboard and move this to the left that we can Center the form okay it's just about okay I click away from that place and check as you can see this is much uh better than what I had in the original form so let's Zoom a little bit and look at there's another thing we can change as you can see I also made some correction here earlier on I had um yes and no over there but I'll just corrected that just right click and change go to control properties and make um changes here it's as simple as that so at this point um I'm done I'm going to export this just before that let me just rename this uh form as form two because I did one earlier on which was um the first form so once that is done go to file export as export as PDF I'm not going to print all the all the uh pages in The Range I'm only interested in the second page here so I'm going to select page Pages two and then I can also make other necessary adjustments here I can change the quality if I like I can uh I can also um add Watermark here to protect my form if I want and I can do other um adjustments over here right now I'm just happy with um what I have here so I'm going to export so let me add from two to this okay I think that is done let's go to open the destination folder here as you can see I have um my sample form so if I double click and here we are can see the name we used over here this is used as um bookmark so we can actually have a name for the form now all these backgrounds indicate that um the form can be filled that these are places so if I like I can okay let's just quickly go to the form and add some D text there director let's just make that um James James um let make it James Bond okay date can just actually select a date here click on this to change um let's say this was done in January 20 okay membership I can take any of this but right now let me just take a VIP here I can add um the name of the person interested in registration let's make it James again and the last name let's put a bond here I can also select um the can type date of birth straight away but I like to select here click on this and I can use this Arrow to select a different range or group of uh range of uh dates can click it again and I can go to something like um I think I'm pretty fine with something like this 1999 take July 5th done with that um I can fill in this as well let me just put some um random text over there address line address line okay here let me take marage nationality you can put anything you want over here just put um American zip code can put any number you like here um same thing here anything you like can put it there here too can put just use the same yeah you can put any names maybe James Bond James Bond at y home.com driver's license select yes gender can select me here I can type you can see that um this box allows us to type from the front front of the form because we chose multi line when we designed this our box so I can put some random text over here let me just do this so that you can see what happens when uh the box is full let's keep going now for the last line you can see that automatically the scroll bar appears just as we plan it the other time so if I continue filling this the scroll bar will allow me to move to the remaining text so I can add more and more textt if I'm not interested in doing that I can just um write a delete everything and put um just some uh little information so we are pretty much done the next thing to do now you just to sign this form so go uh inside your adob Acrobat Pro if you don't have adob Acrobat Pro you have adob Acrobat Reader or adob reader is still going to work the adob Acrobat Pro is used to design the form but since we're already done don't need to redesign the form over here so what I'm going to do now is just to assign the form going to um this go to this point sign document as you can see I already have some domy text over here for Signature let me pick this one so all I have to do is scroll down and add this text over here now it looks like um signature is um too big I can use this to reduce and then I'll reposition the form put a little bit more okay just so at that point you can see that we're done so all we have to do is just to click next and then we save a copy as read only because we don't expect that um the form should be we don't expect the form to be modified after um we saved it so take save a read copy only continue so you can see that um the form is now filled and signed and uh it's ready to go so that's pretty much it about how to create um a feelable PDF form
