hello everyone it's him - welcome back to my channel today's video is super cool because I got Caroline back in the studio to do a part 2 of the first look that we did so I got a lot of questions saying can you do the same look but with less makeup less foundation so that's what we did we skipped foundation and we just used concealer but we kept the eyes very you know focused and enhanced and obviously with this look you can bump up the coverage you can tone it down I just give you kind of a benchmark for where to go so yeah this is the look that I created on Caroline and as always don't forget to follow me on Instagram if you want to see what's coming up next because I post a lot of my stuff on Instagram first and as always don't forget to subscribe down below and hit the notification bell if you want to see what's coming next and let's get into the video all right so here we have the beautiful Caroline who is a friend of mine and you've seen her on my channel before and the video that we did got such amazing feedback the first one that we did but this time around I decided on changing a few things so I got Caroline back in and I'm gonna talk you through everything so let's start with skincare and I'm gonna be using the cuddly beauty elixir mist just to give her a bit of a pick-me-up and to prep her skin for skin care then for my first layer of hydration I'm taking the good molecules Hollow ionic acid serum and I'm gonna be applying that all over the face and rubbing it in now this is a kind of step where I get to figure out what the clients skin type is and I get to feel around for texture or any dryness but I've worked on Caroline before and I'm pretty familiar with her skin so I'm just taking my time to massage that in and to basically relax her and then I'm gonna be taking these two kind of deep puffs and to wake up the skin and these are basically in cryo rollers I don't know if I'm saying that right but you put them in the fridge and they stay really cold and when you apply them to the skin they kind of help with circulation and deep puffs and to kind of stimulate the skin I love these because my skin reacts really well to the cold I really need that too deep puffs and to just make my skin feel firmer so I thought I would give Caroline a bit of a treat and yet this feels so good the only thing is that they're kind of really big to get under the eye but I think he can kind of work around them but I love them because my eyelids get really really puffy so something like this really helps me obviously not every day but as a nice treat if I have a night out or a long day where I'm shooting something it's definitely a treat yourself kind of treatment and then I'm gonna be taking the hoola Henriksen banana bright under-eye cream and just tapping that on the under-eye working at thin layer and adding more if I need it but I really love this eye cream I've been using it on myself for quite a while now as a serum I'm taking the jour capture total super potent serum and applying that all over the skin and just rubbing that and massaging that in am I gonna really give you an in-depth review of these skin care products because I haven't really tried them I'm just using them on Caroline for hydration and skin prep and then I'm gonna follow that with the door capture to child face cream and kind of just sealing everything in with that final layer which is the thickest one and just rubbing it in I'm starting with an eye base and I'm taking the Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in laying low which is the one that I always use that has a very peachy undertone so it kind of neutralizes any discoloration or darkness and at the same time of course preps your eyelid for eyeshadow so this is a great eyeshadow primer and I really really love it I use it all the time and I'm just applying that with a fluffy brush this is a Wayne Goss brush and getting a bit of that underneath the lower lash line because she does have a bit of redness there too now for my base technique I'm taking the alarmers a flawless fusion concealer and I'm using a shade that's a bit warmer a bit more yellow kind of just to neutralize a bit of that redness and this is in the shade 2w and just putting that lightly in areas that are a bit discolored so under the eyes around the nose chin but on the forehead basically it is a very very light concealer and it has really beautiful coverage so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin so just place it in areas where you feel you have a bit of pigmentation a bit of areas that you want to lift and that's gonna be my first layer so it's a ping and blending that in I don't want to rub too much because I don't want to take away that coverage because otherwise it's a bit pointless what we did I kind of want to stipple the brush on top and that's gonna really push that coverage in and at the same time blend everything out very seamlessly and if you feel like the layers that you've done weren't really enough you've missed a few spots it got a bit patchy just add a bit more concealer it continues to tap and blend that in I really love this technique for everyday it makes such a big difference now for the lighter shade I'm taking the shade one N and I'm gonna be using that more to brighten and lift and kind of highlight the face so putting that underneath the eyes and now we're kind of getting into the brightening technique so underneath the eyes down the nose a bit on the chin and areas where I want to basically bring forward so on the jawline Caroline has a beautiful jawline and again focusing that around the eyes and really diffusing and blending that out but on the center of the forehead Caroline has a bruise so I'm gonna be taking the laura mercier secret camouflage concealer and I'm mixing two colors and I'm going in with the peachy shades to neutralize and just applying that concealer on top and blending it in this concealer is pretty dry so it's nice to work it in with the fingers and layer it with a brush just so you get that full effect for cream blush what's new I'm gonna be using my nude sticks nudies matte in the shade body language and it's a very beautiful pink color and I'm just applying that on the tops of the cheekbones and bringing it in to the apples so not completely on the apples because keep in mind I did neutralize that redness so I don't want to really bring it back but just really high up on the cheekbone so that should create that nice lift but again give her that nice healthy glow as if she's been out and she just caught a bit of Sun a bit of a flush now this is another big difference of the first video that I did I didn't powder it then and a lot of you thought it was super shiny but it was the studio lights but I do agree that on camera it's nice to really powder the skin in certain ways so I am taking the arrow glass filled translucent powder and I'm putting that on the t-zone this is a great powder for a dry skin and I'm just applying a very little amount of it and just tapping that and pushing it into the skin focusing on the areas that would look shiny I'm really using very minimal products I'm dipping the brush in the excess powder and just tapping everything away and that way when I press it in your skin just takes the tiniest amount of powder that it needs for brows I'm gonna be taking my hourglass brow gel I really love this oven using it quite a lot actually I'm just brushing the brows up Carolyn has beautiful brows so I'm just gonna be filling in the tiniest gaps with a brow pencil after and to do that I'm taking my benefit processing my brow pencil and again just filling in the tiny gaps in her brows I'm not going overboard because again she has great brows and I really think they're a big part of karolides look for eye shadows are taking the Fenty's snap shadows and I'm taking the first palette which is number one and dipping into that lightest shade and just highlighting the brow bone and setting everything so that when I do go in with a crease color it doesn't go patchy and blends very beautifully tapping a bit about on the lid too and then I'm gonna go in with the warmer palette number five and dipping into that light peach and just running that all over the lid as well to give more of a healthy kind of flush to the lids without it looking orange for a brown pencil I'm taking the fenty fly pencil long wear pencil eyeliner in big trouble and you guys I'm slowly trying to find alternatives for my NARS Mambo eye pencil it's been tough it's been tough nothing is coming close this is a beautiful pencil it's a gel so it's really gonna glide on beautifully but it doesn't give me that nice sharp point that I need so I always have to use a brush with this I mean I use a brush with the NARS mambo as well but I am able to create a very thin sharp line with the NARS mambo because it's a wooden pencil that I can sharpen whereas this one kind of gets very rounded very fast but it is a beautiful formula it looked beautiful and there's a red one that I really want to do a look with and I'm gonna be setting that and diffusing it with a brown shadow as I always do just to give us more of a softer look and what I want to do is to give it more of a dimension so I went in with these shimmer shades and I go over the liner starting from the inner corners and that kind of gives you a bit of a twinkle when she opens her eyes so starting off with a light champagne shade and I'm gonna be building up two more of the copper color so now I'm gonna be taking the copper bronze a color and putting that on the center so it kind of goes from champagne to copper to brown but it's very very subtle because we're gonna add lashes I'm gonna be outlining all of that with a very thin layer of liner I don't want it to look like eyeliner I just wanted to frame that Brown so going all the way in and winging it out for mascara I'm gonna be taking my Charlotte Tilbury full fat lashes mascara guys this is one of my favorite mascaras I love this and the L'Oreal lash paradise or a paradise ecstatic I don't know they're called different things in different countries but to me they're very similar and I love them for individual lashes I'm gonna be taking my art doll individual lashes and medium always always always always use these and I love them and to hydrate her lips before lipstick I'm gonna be taking the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD lip booster and I think this is in the shade one it's the tinted one and I'm just applying that all over the lips as a lip prep just keep her lips nice and hydrated for a blush and bronzer and highlighter I'm taking my hourglass palette again this is the ghost edits I think and I really love these hourglass palettes when they come out I end up using them pretty much all the time so putting the blush shades on the cheeks and it doesn't look matte it just gives you that nice healthy lit-from-within globe and that's why we love these and dipping into the bronzer shade and just giving her a nice all over bronze for lips I'm starting off with the Charlotte Tilbury pillow-talk lip liner and just outlining her lips and filling them and very lightly and then you add a bit more dimension I'm taking the immaculate pencil in stone and just outlining the Cupid's bow and the bottom of the lip and this gives you more of a contour and dimension so this is a great way to cheat your lips and make them look a bit more fuller by creating that realistic shadow and then for lipstick I'm gonna be taking my Mac in - lipstick which is the lipstick that I did with Mac but this is my lab sample this was before it came out and I'm applying that with a brush and just tapping it in and blending and diffusing that color which is how I like to apply it it gives you that very nice beautiful healthy flush the Caroline's gonna let her hair down and then I kind of get to see what's missing what I want to add it's always nice to kind of get ready in what you're gonna go out in and kind of get to assess the makeup if you want to take something away or you want to add a bit more and for a Caroline I just let her a tight line her eyes just to tie everything in and that is the final look I really hope you guys enjoyed this let me know what you think and how you think this compares to the other video I'll leave it as a link at the end of this video and in the description box below and as always don't forget to subscribe to my channel if you want to see more of my videos
