me and jesus stood still that's what the bible tells us that jesus stood still and told the man somebody bring him over here and he actually healed that man right there so does anybody have enough courage to interrupt jesus from whatever he's doing we know jesus has a pandemic to control we know he's headed to the hospital to heal somebody but is there any in the body in the building that has enough praise down on the inside to actually interrupt jesus from whatever he's doing say lord i need you to come see about me we used to sing a song just pass me not on gentle savior hear my humble of bed and we washed our face we brushed our teeth we even started to get dressed and we did not acknowledge him we went about our work day we were on zoom meetings and google meet meetings and we did not acknowledge it we grabbed a bite to eat and we did not acknowledge you we got in our cars and drove down the streets and down the highways and we still didn't acknowledge you god forgive us for that but god i promise you on tonight with everything that is within we're gonna make up for it and we're gonna give you praise and we're gonna give you glory because god you have been good to us all week long all day long god you have watched over us and protected us and for that we say thank you god god we say thank you that you have given us the activity of our limbs and you breathe breath into our body and we say thank you god that we say thank you god because you have watched over us all day long god there's shootings all over this land oh god god but you have protected us and no bullet has hit our homes and no bullet has hit our bodies and for that god we say thank him god with every breath in our body we're gonna lift your name tonight god because we believe that tonight in this revival that someone's life is gonna be changed oh god now we believe that somebody watching even on the screen oh god is gonna come to you crying what must i do to be saved oh god now we believe that in this revival tonight somebody's body is going to be healed high blood pressure is coming down and low blood pressure is going up we believe that tonight who got diabetes is gonna be erased we believe tonight oh god that cancer is gonna be eradicated we believe tonight oh god that kidney failure is gonna be healed god we believe tonight that you heal all manner of diseases from that we say thank you god we pray now tonight even in this revival god that you would lift up the bow down head oh god as he was a thou o lord out of shield for me my glory and the lifter of my head god lift our god we pray in the mighty name of jesus that you would free us from everything that stops us from seeking your face god if it's depression that stops us from seeking you we pray god as you would break the back of depression if it's sickness oh god or distress we pray in the mighty name of jesus oh god that you would free us loose our stammering tongues and help us to open our mouths up in magnifier block that hinders us from seeking you even no more give us a peace in our hearts oh god we pray for those who are downtrodden and heartbroken that you would mend their hearts back together with bands like you can so father we stretch out on your word today because your word is truly all that we have once heaven and earth have passed away once our friends are gone and once the money is out of our bank account it is your word that's saying oh god that we are the lender and not the borrower it is a word that said oh god that we are those who are risen and triumphant glory we pray tonight god that your good grace would follow us everywhere we go that your peace would go before us that no dead no lack shall come nigh our door posted everything that concerns us that it will concern you and every time that rises against us that it shall be condemned and every force that comes against us to stop us from giving you praise and to stop us from giving you glory to stop us from magnifying your name will be disintegrated under the power of your blood we look to you tonight dear god because we don't have no more help we don't have no more friends we don't have no more money we don't know which way to go but our eyes are looking upon you because what they are carrying you crush death and you crush sin and you made us free and you given us grace and you giving us love and you giving us death died three days later he comes out of the grave not as a weakling but with all power in his hands 50 days later he sends the holy ghost to reside in the preside on the inside of us and what a joy it is for us to know that we're not just his creation but we're his children and after all that we've been through we still have our right minds for he will keep you in perfect peace as you keep part of both worshiping god and thanking the lord for his life and we praise god for this church let me appreciate this church and the pastor for the accommodations that have been made for my time here in chi town tonight amen amen i'm thankful for my brother in the lord being with us tonight pastor romell williams come on give god praise for him amen all of the pastors and preachers who are present all of you my brothers and sisters in the lord i pray that you've already been blessed this week some of my friends have already gone before me and made difficult the way amen so i pray that uh my little easter speech tonight will not will not bore you too much we just want to share this little sunday school lesson and we'll be out of the way amen while you're standing i want to summon your senses and invite your intellect to the book of daniel [Music] the book of daniel chapter number three daniel chapter 3 [Music] i pray that your familiarity with this context does not cause you to cut me off too soon [Music] it is there that the holy spirit has highlighted this familiar context beginning with verse number 15. daniel chapter 3 verse 15 while you're landing there we thank god for all of our virtual audience amen we praise god for you tuning in tonight daniel chapter 3 verse number 15 your bible should read now if you be ready that at what time you hear the sound of the cornet flute harp sackbut saltery and dulcimer and all kinds of music you fall down and worship the image which i have made well but if you do not worship you shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace and who is that god that shall deliver you out of my hands shadrach meshach and abednego answered and said unto the king o nebuchadnezzar we are not careful to answer you in this manner if it be so our god whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and he will deliver us out of your hand o king but if not be known unto you o king that we will not serve your gods nor worship the golden image which you have set up then was nebuchadnezzar full of fury and the form of his visage was changed against shadrach meshach and abednego therefore he spoke and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was want to be heated and he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind shadrach meshach and abednego and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace then these men were bound in their coats their holes and in their hats their other garments were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace therefore because the king's commandment was urgent and the furnace exceeding hot the flame of the fire slew those men that took up shadrach meshach and abednego and these three men shadrach meshach and abednego fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace then never chetnazer the king was astonished and rose up in haste and spoken said unto his counselors did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire they answered and said unto the king true o king he answered and said lo i see four men loose walking in the midst of the fire and they have no hurt and the form of the fourth is like the son of god then nebuchadnezzar came near unto the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoken said shadrach meshach and abednego you servants of the most have high god come forth and come here then shadrach meshach and abednego came forth of the midst of the fiery furnace and the princes governors captains and the king's counselors being gathered together saw these men upon whose bodies the fire had no power and was nor was a hair of their head singed neither was their coats changed nor the smell of fire had passed on them and then never turned spoken said blessed be the god of shadrach meshach and abednego who has sent his angel and delivered his servants that trusted in him and have changed the king's word and yielded their bodies that they may not serve nor worship any god except their own god therefore i make a decree that every people nation and language which speak anything amiss against the god of shadrach meshach and abednego shall be cut in pieces their houses shall be made a dung heel because there is no other god that can deliver after this sword than the king promoted shadrach meshach and abednego in the province of babylon i want to tag this text faith under fire you may be seated in the lord's church all of us at some point in our lives want to be labeled as being courageous all of us want those moment or that moment in our lives that will mark our character as being a courageous person until we find out that courage is not free something is at risk you stand and be courageous that's really a very serious principle tucked away in this passage this familiar sunday school lesson about these three hebrew boys shadrach meshach and abednego but when we study scripture it's not just important to know the story or the narratives or the characters tucked in the story it's important to identify what is god's message what is god's story in the story if you are a bible student you know that daniel's prophecy was written as a salute and an ode to the sovereignty of god that god just isn't the god of folk who believe in him god has enough power to interrupt and interfere with international affairs daniel's writing bespeaks god's authority over people who don't even believe in him his sovereignty is not limited to church folk his power is not limited to people who believe in him he is a sovereign god daniel's prophecy his contribution to the biblical canon is a salute to god's affairs in international affairs over other nations that are not specifically israel but in doing so god hires people to infiltrate other kingdoms as his agents and ambassadors to bespeak his message and to give homage to his authority might i suggest to you that when we read this story these three brothers are god's not even secret agents they're god's ambassadors to a gentile kingdom to help them to understand that the god of israel is lord of all and we see in this story these three hebrew boys have gotten in trouble for standing for god pastor harris if i could sum this sermon up into one sentence one of the principles one of the issues that it screams at us tonight is that we are often confronted with opportunities that present us with moments to either highlight god or betray god and the question becomes will you put principles over privilege [Music] you know how it is when some of us get a little money get a little job get a little opportunity get with the man or woman that is our choice to try to compete with somebody else we get a little opportunity and we end up compromising principles for privileges one of the lessons that these guys teach us is how to not compromise principles over privilege you see that in this story by which they have an opportunity to be elevated within the babylonian authority they get called up uh from slavery and they are put over the provinces and the story goes that there were certain chaldeans who spotlighted these three hebrew boys and identified three things about them number one they would not bow to this golden image number two they would not serve their gods and number three they had no regard for the king and these uh chaldeans went to go tell on the three hebrew boys to king nebuchadnezzar king nebuchadnezzar believes their report he gets upset he brings these three guys in for questioning and when he brings them in ladies and gentlemen they they stand flat-footed in his face and tell him directly we will not have your gods as our gods we will not bow to this golden image uh if god delivers us fine if god does not deliver us we will still not bow to your god nor regard you as a god nor bow to this golden image king got mad and made sure that the furnace reflected his fury turned the furnace up seven times harder through these three hebrew boys in the fiery furnace didn't know that there was a fourth man already in the furnace who looks like the son of god these boys got in that furnace nothing happened to them never ceneza notices that they have been unstained by this fire nebuchadnezzar calls them out of the fire investigates them to discover no change had been to their coats no singh has been on their hair not even the smell of smoke and fire has has been on their being they call in all of his contemporaries to see this miracle and they resolve that clearly their god is worth more homage than our gods as a matter of fact if we find that anybody speaks against the god of abraham the god of meshech i and these three boys that we're going to have an issue with them and we're going to kill them and we're going to make their house a dung hill and as a result the bible says that this king promoted shadrach meshach and abednego now that's the story let me back up and share some things that are pertinent to our walk with god and we'll go get some fish together ladies and gentlemen i think it's important and imperative that we investigate how this whole thing got started this thing did not start with the three hebrew boys neither did it start with never chet nesser it started with these caldean instigators these the text calls them certain chaldeans have observed three things about the three hebrew boys they've observed number one they have no regard for the king number two they will not serve their gods number three they will not bow to this golden image pastor williams i'm concerned because if you've observed so much about these boys then that is indicative of how long you've been watching them they didn't just observe one thing about them they've observed three things you have no regard for the king you won't bound to this image and you will not serve our gods if you've made so many observations you didn't just stare at me to get those observations you've spent some time watching my activity and for you to have spent so much time watching my activity is is a revelation about you because the ordinance was that when you hear the sound of these instruments being played but everybody is supposed to bow to the king and if you telling that i'm not bowing then you can't be bowing either if you're telling that i'm not bowing then actually you have had to stand in order to see me not bow come on you're going to get this in a minute if the if if all of us in here at the sound of the musicians get on our knees and bow the only way for you to see somebody not bowing is if you're not bowing yourself i'll try it one more time it is not possible ladies and gentlemen for you to tell what somebody else is doing unless you risk telling on yourself and the very thing that you're trying to report on somebody else you could very well be reporting on yourself the only reason why you knew i was not bowing is because you were not bowing either do you know folk like that who always got something to say about somebody else and forget they risk telling on themselves trying to tell on somebody else okay you you still not feeling me uh maybe maybe you don't have anybody in your life like that but here's what the text tells us the text tells us that when they went to report to king nebuchadnezzar in verses 12 through 15 that when they went to report to king nebuchadnezzar that these three hebrew boys were not bowing listen to what they said they said in verse 12 that king these are the guys you set over the affairs of the province let me try this one more time these are the guys that you set over the affairs of the province they didn't go to the king and said shadrach meshach and abednego are not bowing missed it they said these are the guys that you set over the province of the affairs so i'm struggling here uh pastor epps because i want to know did you tell on me because you're struggling with my faith in god or did you tell on me because you're struggling with my favor from god i'm not i'm not real clear on which one you struggling with because you should have just went and told my name but the fact that you went and told the position that the king gave me i wish i had a church around here somewhere because the real matter of the issue is it's not just my stand that you struggling with you struggling with the fact that the king has favor on my life and he has elevated me to a place that you can't stand y'all missed it the three hebrew boys ladies and gentlemen were transitioned from captivity to being in charge they were brought over from jerusalem into babylon and the people who are in babylon are struggling with the fact that they gotta submit to slaves lord have mercy today they don't feel like they're qualified enough they don't feel like they got enough experience and enough education so now the king has overlooked them and lifted up some slaves and put them in charge i'm not sure if you struggling with my faith in god or my favor from god or you're struggling with both ladies and gentlemen sometimes your faith in god aggravates other people can i show you the sign that it aggravates other people your favor from god aggravates other people because all they'll do once they get aggravated is make it their business to expose the flaws in your life do you know of anybody in here in your life they won't celebrate your favor but they'll tell everything else that's wrong with you they won't celebrate the fact that you've been elevated they're telling everything that's wrong with you because it's their now concern to make sure that your favor gets flawed and one of the signs one of the signs that you are possibly under satanic control is that you like to expose the flaws of other people [Applause] you missed it satan does it every day all day he stands before god to accuse the brethren and god is standing there like i know that i'll use them anyway i called them i anointed them and i'm gonna use them anyway listen ladies and gentlemen if you say nothing to me it looks like i'm talking about you so let me just do a little check would you check around and look at your neighbor if they tell you one thing god has done for them see how they respond if they don't celebrate you then you're sitting next to somebody who is aggravated by the favor that is on your life but if they start to give god glory not for what god has done for you but for what god has done for them then you're sitting next to somebody who is comfortable with the favor of god on your life i'm not sure what you're struggling with i'm not sure i'm not sure if it's my faith you struggling or my favor you struggling with i'm really not clear i'm not i'm not clear what you what your real problem is because you're aggravated by the fact that uh that that the king has given a slave a position lord i wish i had some help right here you you i don't know why y'all not i'll shout myself tonight because i am a proof that god can raise up the lowest person i'm proof that god can raise up somebody who other folk look like he's not qualified he don't have enough experience but can i tell you something oftentimes as a matter of fact more often than not god's criteria is in stark contrast to man's criteria never got any help here i'm not really clear on what you're struggling with but apparently but apparently whatever you're struggling with you're not the only one struggling with it [Applause] i find it quite interesting that the king didn't even investigate the matter or have mercy he just accepted the report of haters he just accepted the report of haters he didn't even look at the situation he just accepted the report of haters he calls in these three hebrew boys and the first thing this text is tailored to teachers church is about your persuasion before the fire that's the first thing that texas table teacher you got to have a persuasion before lord have mercy the fire come here church come in church he calls those boys in and uh he said you guys are not bowing you don't have any regard for the king you don't have any regard for my gods or these images that i've erected uh do you understand i've made a decree that anybody who dishonors either of those is going to be thrown into the fiery furnace the text says that same hour that's what tech said and the three hebrew boys look back at shadrach meshach and abednego and they look back at nebuchadnezzar and they say uh well sir we heard you but uh we're not doing it we heard you we're not doing it so so let me give you my conviction he says uh if god delivers us fine but if he doesn't we know he's able and we'll die believing before we live as traitors can't take what they can said tell you what they said what they were really saying was hey nebuchadnezzar you are making the dangerous presumption that our faith is built on deliverance [Applause] you presume that we just believe in god cause he gonna deliver the mistake you made is that our faith is not based on deliverance our faith is based on devotion [Applause] our faith is based on the fact that if he doesn't do it lord have mercy today we are devoted even if he doesn't deliver now let me go head on and get in trouble in this here church tonight and tell you that you are in trouble if your faith is only based on deliverance [Applause] because if that's the case then you don't believe god you are bullying god you can't tell god what to do how to do it who to do it to just because you got faith real faith is not based on deliverance and god deliver us from this deliverance driven devotion to the divine that if he delivers then we go shout if he delivers then we go praise if he delivers then i'll stay in church but ladies and gentlemen we do not know if you're faithful to god until you've been presented with an opportunity to be unfaithful preach pastor morgan i want to talk to somebody who testify i will bless the lord not just when he delivers but at all times when he does not deliver i'm i'm i'm fearful that the church is in trouble because we've spent a lot of years lying on god and one of the things this pandemic has done has exposed false prophets [Applause] [Music] preaching here total and mort you thought god was going to deliver and we preached that to you because that's what make you feel good but the reality of the matter is god has a right not to deliver and if he chooses not to deliver will you still give him glory will you still be faithful in church will you still tithe will you still serve the ministry even when he has not done what you want him to do to these three hebrew boys teach us that real faith is not subject to deliverance real faith real faith watch this is is is contingent and subject unto death they said you got two options never checked nestle told them you got two options option number one stand and die option number two bow and live those are the only two options you got they said we'll take option number one we will stand and die because actually pastor harris their contingency is we've come to the fire with a persuasion [Applause] the fire is not going to prove our faith our faith is going to stand against the fire because we've already come to this persuasion that we're fully resolved to die and therefore god doesn't have to do anything else to prove himself to us okay i'm missing them people back over there uh uh 2016 uh 2016. uh my wife and i attended a frankie beverly and maze concert i don't care nothing about y'all judging me i'll go if they come here tomorrow i'll be there tomorrow okay nothing about y'all judging me 2016. me and my wife went to uh frankie beverly and maze see y'all acting fake i'm gonna get you in a second because if listen listen let me talk to the real people who testify i'm saved and i know how to have a good time [Applause] 2016. me and my wife went to a frankie beverly and maze concert i paid good money revenues to see deacon frank in beverly and his quartet singers uh in 2016 and uh and and it it wasn't just me there [Music] we were in an amphitheater in atlanta georgia it might have been four or five thousand people there i i wasn't the only one there this was 2016. in atlanta georgia me and my wife paid tickets to go see frankie beverly and mays and uh and and it dawned on me pastor harris while i was standing there uh i paid a lot of money to see a 46 year old band who hasn't made an album in 23 years to sing the same song that i've known all the time i'ma try this one more again in 2016 me and my wife went to frankie beverly mays concert in atlanta georgia i paid a lot of money while i was standing there it dawned on me this group is 46 years old they had not made an album in 23 years and my presence there and the pay for the ticket suggests they ain't got to make another song [Applause] they've already done enough for me to pay another ticket to hear them saying the same songs i thought i had somebody in bright star tonight who would testify god doesn't have to do anything else for me he's already done enough for me to keep paying to give him glory because he don't need any new hits to all hits is still worth giving him glory look at somebody some god got some old hits in my life i still dance about the stuff he did last year [Applause] [Music] if he never does anything else he's wise lord i wish i had a church around here to give him glory not for the new stuff but the whole stuff he's already done that's really what the three hebrew boys said that's really what they say what they told never chet nezer is that i don't need a new hit from god he's already done enough that if tonight's my night to die i'll give him glory for the stuff he's already done and he don't need to do anything else my faith is not based on his deliverance it's based on my devotion if we're going to die tonight i'm gonna die believing but if he don't do it he's able lord i wish i had somebody in here tell somebody you got i got a simple word from the lord just tell them i got a simple word don't touch them just tell them i got a simple word from the lord it's just this simple he's able nope they didn't get happy turn to somebody else and tell them neighbor i got a simple word from the lord this ain't even about your card this ain't about your house this is not about your money this is a simple word he's able no they didn't get happy tell somebody neighbor i got a simple word from the lord he is able how you handle your fire is contingent upon your persuasion before the fire breaks out this text doesn't just teach us about a persuasion before the fire this text teaches us church about how to be purged by the fire if you've got a bible and can read it the text says nebuchadnezzar got upset because what he threatened them with did not scare them his anger this fiery furnace didn't scare them so he gets mad turns up the furnace seven times hotter to reflect his own fury and then he calls for an army of people to bound and tie these three hebrew boys up and throw them in the fire and the text says that the fire burned up the people who bound them up trying to throw them in the fire i'm gonna try this one more time the text says that never chatenez called for an army of people to bind up three men bound them up went to go throw them in the fire they opened the door to the fire and the fire shot out burned up the guys who was trying to throw them in what that means brother minister is that this miracle was not worked by cutting off the fire it was work by reversing the heat did y'all notice that when the heat when the three hebrew boys was out the heat was in [Music] and when the three hebrew boys was in the heat was out i'ma try it one more time and the heat came out in reverse order because it was designed ladies and gentlemen to get rid of people who had no business with their hands on you in the first place who preaching here told morgan i'm trying to tell you that the fire that has broken out in your life was designed to get rid of people who had no business being in your life it wasn't designed to kill you it was designed to kill them who had no reason to move forward in your future okay that's why your prayer has not been answered the reason why your prayer has not been answered because god is not done purging your life of people who have no business being in your life with the trouble that has broken out in your life [Music] oh lord have mercy i knew you wasn't gonna say nothing cause you want god to take away your trouble and he sent the trouble to take away troublesome people [Applause] it was a reverse it was a reverse that while the boys were out the fire the heat was in and it comes now to get rid of those people who should have never had their hands on the three hebrew boys okay okay okay so here's the problem of the text the problem with the text pastor romero williams is simply this if the fire killed the guys who were throwing the three hebrew boys in how did the three hebrew boys end up in the fire i knew you wasn't thinking let me try one more time if the people who's supposed to throw them in are dead how did you still end up in the fight the problem with this text ladies and gentlemen if you got a bible and can read it the problem with this text is the three hebrew boys are bound hand and foot so they didn't step in the fire refreshments i'm gonna try this one again they didn't step in there they didn't jump in there i wanna suggest church they fell in there and here's the blessing jesus met him in the thing they fell in lord have mercy today i'll shout myself because y'all don't want to tell the truth that you fell into some stuff because you saved sanctified and filled with the precious holy ghost and with a body burning fire on the inside but for all us other real people we are saved and we'll still tell the truth that some stuff we fell in but jesus met us in the very thing that we fell in and that's how we got out do i have anybody in here that will testify i got out of some stuff the lord let me get out and i fell in it myself can i tell you the problem with the church the problem with the church is that the church wants you to be holy but it don't want you to be honest so let me talk to the honest people who will testify with your saved self on sunday you fell in some stuff during the week and the only reason why you came back to church the next sunday is jesus was already in what you fell in and met you in that place and brought you out when you couldn't get yourself out i fell in some stuff jesus brought me out of okay since y'all missed it it's a theological reworking of creation itself that is often labeled the fall of man i'm gonna try this one more in the garden man fail but jesus comes to bruise the head of the serpent and deliver man from some stuff he fell in would you take a minute and just look at your neighbor and just tell neighbor excuse me i'm be real honest with myself right now i gotta praise god for some stuff he brought me out of that i fell in no the devil didn't do it my enemy didn't do it my hater didn't do it i did it myself i walked through the valley of the shadow of death i did that but thanks be to god he was with me and i feared no evil [Applause] it's a thought it's a fault that jesus got him out of i know you don't like this part but here's the whole point of the story pastor harris the whole point of story is based on one question the question was posed by nebuchadnezzar it's one question i didn't make it up and send the text the whole story is based on one question who is that god the whole story is built of trying to answer one question who is that god y'all missed it it was the it was never chad nezer who posed the question and it was never chad nezer who said it was the son of god it defiled lord you're gonna get this one way or another which means sometimes god puts his people in a fiery situation so that somebody who don't know god can get to know god based upon how you handled the hell god permitted you to be in the question is can you be trusted with trouble [Applause] [Music] or are you going to give up on god talk about god ain't fair and god ain't right sometimes it is god that has not sent you the blessing it is god that has sent you the burden [Applause] [Music] because you are the agent to reach somebody else based upon how they saw you handle your fire [Music] [Applause] your persuasion before the fire [Music] this texas table to teach us about your purging by the fire [Music] but this text is also teach us about how you've been preserved in the fight [Applause] here it is here it is i've really been talking uh past harris to get to this one point uh so just forgetting i just been talking get to this one point uh if if you got a bible and can read it the text says [Music] that the three hebrew boys are in the fiery furnace the king looks in there says he sees four they threw in three he sees four he even has to confirm didn't we throw in three they say yeah bud we threw in three it's four bodies in there and let me tell you what they're doing they're walking loose and unharmed i didn't make that up it's in the bible i'm not a cliche preacher it's in the bible if you like the bible you're gonna get this sermon they doing three things they're walking and unharmed i'm gonna try one more again he says we threw in three right yeah i see four in there and i see what they're doing they're walking loose and unharmed what they what never chanez was really saying was i see them living in the fire like they're free [Applause] [Music] [Applause] since y'all slow him listen these three men were taken out of jerusalem and put into babylonian captivity and when they got put in the fire they looked like they're free back in their homeland when they got put in the fire because when they was at the crib they was walking loose and unharmed but while they're in the fire they're still walking loosed and unharmed so they looked like in the fire what their lives was when they was free y'all missed it god gave them back the life that the enemy stole from them in the fire i'm gonna try this one more again i don't know who i'm preaching to so i'm gonna speak to i'm gonna speak for about five of y'all i'm gonna make number six because some people are ashamed to admit what i'm getting ready to say but the truth of the matter is some of y'all doing real good in this pandemic your life is better in this pandemic than it was before it started you making more money you seeing more clients you got more money in the bank your body is healthier you're doing better in the fire than you was when you was free [Applause] would you look at somebody and tell them neighbor i've been wanting to say that for a few months but i know some of y'all insecure with blessed people so since i'm in the lord's house let me go ahead on and testify this pandemic has been a problem for some people but for others of us it's been a blessing because in the pandemic we've been walking loose and unharmed do i got anybody that will testify god knows how to bless you in the fire [Applause] [Music] [Applause] the life that they were taken from they got back i said the life they were taken from they got it back in the fire let's make this house tonight a no-hater zone and take 10 seconds to just thank god you're doing as good as you are you're doing as well as you are under the limitations and under the circumstances your life is being real blessed in the midst of a fire what they thought was gonna kill you take you out what they thought was gonna silence you it's actually blessing your life yes tell your neighbor i'm living good i'm all right tell me i'm all right [Music] i sure am i'm doing all right uh huh if they got a little attitude in their jaws pray for them but but just testify cause see somebody needs to be god's poster boy somebody needs to be god's poster girl to say that though it is bad i'm proof that god doesn't have to remove your fire to provide your needs [Applause] the life they were stolen they got it back and god didn't have to wait to pull them out the fire to give it to him he gave it to him in the fire they were preserved no hair singed no coat changed no even smell i didn't make that up in cintex they don't even smell like what they've been through i wish i had some help around here they don't look like it they don't smell like it they have not been affected by it ladies and gentlemen here is the real miracle here is the real miracle bishop the real miracle is simply this if you've been through a bad situation but you haven't become a bad person the real miracle has happened in your life if you haven't allowed the situation to change who you are to change your attitude to change your focus to change your goals then you have really experienced the miracle i'm quitting thank you for having me pastor just share this little easter speech thank you i appreciate you i'm closing when i tell you this in verse 30 because you had a persuasion before the fire you let the fire purge your life you were preserved in the fire now i'm going to promote you i'm in verse 30. i bid y'all good night he said when they come out that fire the bible says and he promoted them over the affairs of the province okay you still missed it it means that what the snitches the snitches and the chaldeans started at the beginning of the story didn't work because what they were ultimately trying to get never checked nezra to do is move them out of the position that they couldn't stand for them to be in so they went through the fire only to get elevated y'all missed it ladies and gentlemen you got to be careful because what you think is killing me could very well be elevating me [Applause] is there anybody here that can testify you have the plan of god on your life have i got myself a winner in this police the bible says when we get to verse 30 they was promoted the very king that the enemy tried to keep them from moving ah yeah am i gonna win this here it means that the enemy was used to elevate them into the place where god would have them to be am i going to win this here you got to be careful how you try to plot against god's people you got to be careful how you try to plane against god's people and the very people the very people that can't stand you they are the very people god will use the elevation have i got to win this here would you look at your neighbor and tell them neighbor what you meant for evil lord have mercy on god we'll do it for good i'm feeling pretty good in here would you tell your neighbor they plan it to work against you but it only served to move you forward and the fire that was thrown your way it was only designed to lift you up where god would have you to be am i going to win this year and so you got to be able to stand against the fire and to testify that you know that all all things lord have mercy according to his purpose everybody that thought they were going to kill you ever reminded that thought they were going to sabotage your reputation everybody that thought that they were going to kill your opportunity god only used them to move you forward have i got to win this here since y'all they lived and he stayed in there does that sound like something you all know one friday you and i were supposed to die on camera is here jesus stepped in and he took the heat and set us free have i service out cause folk get the mic and say all kind of crazy stuff but we need your testimony and i want you to look at one person who you saw praising god if they didn't praise god don't you say a word to them but i need you to give a full word testimony to somebody who is around you come on choose your person right now and look them in the eye and say to the neighbor say neighbor i got a four word testimony telling my testimony is it didn't kill me if that's your testimony you ought to praise god i see you in the back it didn't kill me what the enemy meant for evil god turned it around and made that thing good i got about seven people in here that are just glad to be alive jump up and shout it did not kill me i did not kill me even my sin didn't kill me my throats didn't kill me y'all didn't come to have church i know we got to go but this is the week that your testimony ought to sound like this i'm saved by his power divine no takers say to new heights sublime wave your hand like throws your sins into what is called the sea of forgetfulness and gives you no ability to swim back in that water and go get it again it is forgiven and it is forgotten when you confess with your mouth believe in your heart if you're not saved if you don't know the lord the pardon of your sin and in the fellowship of his suffering i want you to bow your hands and repeat these words after me say lord jesus forgive me for all of my sin i believe that you die upon the cross you were buried on the third day god the father raised you from the dead right now lord jesus i open the door of my heart and i receive you into my heart as my lord and savior take full control of my life in jesus name somebody shout a amen would you clap your hands i believe that somebody just prayed that prayer of faith whether you're here on the scene or you're watching on the screen it is my prayer that you would go from this place of connection and shift to a whole nother paradigm to commitment god does not want to date you you don't want to be booed he don't want to be bad he wants to be married he wants covenant commitment and i'm encouraging you if you're not a member of any church it is my
