so twitter mentions are alerting me that people can still hear me and i'm sorry for my aggressive monologuing if that's the case alpha you're hilarious you can't hear this but when you re-watch this part of the stream just so you know your angry monologues are actually [Music] delayed [Music] so ladies and gentlemen i'm excited this is all my this is the biggest there are so many people this is the biggest there's a lot of people for this one this is the biggest of of all the events today this is the 900 iq game of among us there okay there's the graphic there's the graphic here it is and and here's everybody this is this is our chance to make among us in esports so obviously one of the biggest games of 2020 has been a game actually from 2018 which is among us a game where you are uh 10 crewmates in a spaceship trying to just fix your ship and get on home except there's a twist there are two imposters aboard and they're trying to kill everybody alien style yeah and so or just whatever style they can so in case you're not familiar with kind of all the gaming memes that this series has actually spawned it's all about like big iq gameplays right it's about like the 200 iq move that deceived everyone or the 300 iq move that allowed me to be the ultimate imposter and so we got together and we're like hey you know we're a gaming channel yeah we also pride ourselves on being like an education edutainment channel we're a weird fusion of the two oh man why don't we mix the two together as a part of our live stream crazy time and bring together some of the top gamers of among us with some of the highest iq people that we know yeah some of the smartiest pants out there in kind of this battle royale of high iq versus gamer and i'm sure actually a lot of the gamers are super high iq too yeah exactly and actually maybe maybe we toss it out to some of the some of some of our players okay yeah okay so here in studio let's let's see everyone let's go down the line think that big brains can you know can make up for a lot that's true don't over sell it because this is a game all about like social strategy and manipulation sure there's intelligence involved but really it's about can you deceive your fellow man you look sneaky kyle i mean i think you can do it i lurk all day every day you are a perpetual lurker always like at this point oh diane's already in that okay but obviously it takes more than five people to play a game of among us or maybe you guys wouldn't know that it takes more than five people to play it takes more than five people there's a couple more remote players that are dialing in right now on a screen around me that i'm going to point at and maybe it'll magically activate maybe it won't magically activate it are they there kandari maybe not we can vamp for a little bit hey so how's everyone's life i think we got kicked due to inactivity oh i'm so sorry so we have to create a new game fair enough they're gonna work on it again okay so out of curiosity for the five guys here in the studio right now have you ever taken an iq test excellent no actually unfortunately i mean i was gonna why is it so zoomed in ethan i know you yeah you know rest in peace yeah all right it was not good um i don't perform i don't do well at testing i think standardized testing should go out the window wouldn't measure your intelligence at all creative individual i don't like tests i don't do well under that kind of pressure yeah and i did bad fair and i understand it's a very strange situation it has very specific knowledge sets what about your toes do you like tests or no uh i mean i took an iq test off google one edge youtubers no no no i never really the youtubers have not the gamers have done more ideas very validation matthew they know they're smart i took away oh thank you thank you kyle i took one i thought you did uh i think you thought i forget it was it was in that range i think it was a lot of a spatial uh shape determination that engineering kind of stuff yeah um but again it was also from google so who knows and doesn't even measure intelligence anyway that's a whole other word wow we did get the other five players yeah where did they go right now they weren't where they were on our screen can we pull them back up onto the program maybe maybe you are you made them disappear again where'd they go there oh they're playing they're just monitored monitor tango okay okay so we're going to explain we do have five other people actually here and i for those who don't know among us is a ten person game for you three for those who don't for anyone who might not know uh among us is a ten person game uh which means that matthew and i actually are a bit of overflow um we basically we had a lot of requests for people to join this stream and we reached out to everyone and were very surprised when everyone said yes so we accidentally overbooked this segment of our stream yeah so we're actually i mean we're just being completely transparent about what happened we could make up something cutesy about how we wanted to like all watch you all play among us but we actually fully intended to play and then everyone said yes to coming on and your name chose us absolutely you guys are really smart you guys are the smartest people we know no no this is it so this actually gives us a chance to become kind of like esports commentators exactly and so what we're going to actually end up doing once everyone is pulled back up and we've kind of set up the final game we're going to disappear into another room so that way we can talk about what you guys are doing and kind of shout cast the game so we are officially kind of so oh there there we are okay so so we'll talk about hopefully they've been in a little bit uh well we're going to have 10 people entering a map i'm not too sure what map we're going to be playing it but when these 10 people enter this map two people are going to be imposter yes so are they going i am almost very sure everybody in this chat is very familiar among us getting shout out like throughout the entire day but two people are going to be imposters and they're going to be doing their best to kill everybody off in this map so how and how do you how do you win as a as an imposter and how do you win as a crewmate well as a crewmate you will get all your tasks done or you can catch the two imposters by watching all the very sus movements that can be coming from possibly to old two people and when you catch them you toss them right out the airlock that's right we're gonna be airlocking hopefully two imposters but maybe the imposters will be making their way through these maps i don't know because it looks like we've got a nice split between i want to say pros versus joe's but i feel like these joes don't deserve to be called joe's trolls versus the joes yeah i don't know i don't know if we're allowed to get away by calling him that i don't know how uh i don't know how derek from veritasium is going to feel about being called a joe there right that's incredible oh and and over to you i'm just curious about your role in all this how does it feel to be as far as i understand it the the world's first uh you know the world's first shoutcaster of among us uh completely honored i never thought uh something like this would be we'd be coming up so to be when they saw a dream and took advantage of that but that is such a quick um such a quick kill usually something like this there's a chance it might have been a self-report as well i'm not gonna call it a self-report but there's a good chance cause i was pretty quick into this match right that was so fast below the cafe i was hanging out with vsauce i was like i don't know what i'm doing and then he took off you're going to use voice wait wait i can hear you now all right it's got to be someone smart right someone who knows how to play this game it's not it's not one of the editors unless it's vsauce3 how dare you jake well here's the thing i was hanging out in the cafe with you then you disappeared and then there was a dead body that's all i know we don't know how to play yeah okay i don't think it's you or diana but it could be jake or it could be someone else you found the body in storage or i don't know if you're using me but i saw you and you were with me and you didn't kill me was believe that was man i don't know sensitivity i may not have caught that quick enough they swapped over but we can definitely confirm can they hear us they can't yeah so not very potassium maybe we'll flying under the radar to not draw attention to herself i think that was a smart move especially when you're dealing with a bunch of people who are still figuring out all the logistics of the game can hear you exactly there's going to be a lot of easy kills on this one and as you can tell veritasium jumped out of that room pokey noticed took her time and acted like she followed up behind him with that kill and walked up right behind the alibi uh pokey's all set she's clear off that kill easily oh crap located right there we're going into another one oh hello holy smokes all right can you guys yeah i didn't see pokey is there anyone others want to clear interesting deflection so i mean all i can say is i came into mid bay and i didn't even recognize that it was a dead body because it's a weird looking thing it doesn't immediately strike me as a dead body but then i like i saw it after a while and i was like oh no there's a dead body here or use this platform to say that matpat yes i round and this round i was just hanging toast had a chance to kill me and didn't kill me and i think it would have been pretty easy but isn't that how you play imposter maybe but like no one was around yeah this could also be like that's what you do it's good because then you get to say this towards uh and he was drinking water and i think it's because he's nervous because i'm dehydrated what kind of sauce is that all yours i'm nervous now because i guess drinking water is sucks because it seems like throwing out accusations of drinking water is just deflecting that's how you get iq 8000 i'm i'm told physics girl or veritasium because since they haven't played before they might not know how to kill someone which is why i think we should vote on six because there is a chance pokey oh no it's it's confirmed she was a hit never mind yeah yeah i think it's alfred but it could be jake i don't know i just have i think there's five seconds to vote i feel like he is very much scrolling these rounds that's very important so now that he has him on board uh that was marcus now that he has macca's on board he can't actually kill max he's with him right brutal he's with him on toast hear the only one i think he's the only one that's hearing this i know that's funny alpharad tell us a little bit about your strategy my strategy is to wait 45 whole seconds for this kill cool timer to go down um and then uh i like i don't know if i want to keep toast alive because he's good but also he's another person throws us on but i think i'm gonna kill him anyways that's amazing all right yeah i'm so happy that i was the first one out it was it was a lot of fun i couldn't believe how fast you went down i got to say something uh welcome to the thumbnail buddy he just killed me and he killed me in the middle of the map around like 10 people and somehow i got away with it right that's what that was my card swipe i was being a good crewmate okay so so stoic while they prepare the next room for the next match which will be a little bit smoother i think uh so give us your feedback as far as how that came from matt i'm hearing you through steph's mic not yours just so you know so it's very funny i hear stuff that's fine though well good thing i'm super loud though so stokes going to fill us in on some of the strategies used in this round and how he would uh advise maybe uh maybe dream or some of the other players that were bumped off early to uh correct course in the future yeah what advice would you have for do you love it i mean well dream was just very unfortunate he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and he got uh he got picked off there but what i did see i think was very very obvious just looking at the taskbars task is not moving up that quick so what i saw was experience players really trying to feel out the area feel out there the players or i guess you could say feeling out the lobby to see how things are going to be going because not a lot of players were doing their tasks and they were doing a lot of searching trying to get a lot of knowledge on everybody and um i think that's kind of what led to the to the end there and then obviously things got a little mixy when you start to uh hear other things being said yeah we are we are almost influencing for better or worse honestly you know next round we could almost be an imposter ourselves by inserting false information oh that's true we could secretly we could secretly feed information to people oh i feel like we should play let them play one fair round yeah if we just one if we can't if we can't fix the comms issue we can definitely make sure that you know we're seating in false information that'd be cool exactly so how how is the boot up of the next round going hindari yeah you just gotta keep going into the corners that seems like great so we have a little bit of time here for donations and then when we hop in we'll uh be able to actually well you pull up donation stuff i i want to ask one other question here which is the fact that like what did you think about you know the gamer strategy in this so pokey did a pretty solid deflect there for a minute uh you had diana really trying to kind of uh search out she seemed to be kind of the the leader of the conversation that was happening i'm not surprised she's the type right she's a take charge lady so so what do you think is that a smart move is that throwing more attention on you like what what do you think is going to work with this group of individuals so with this group of individuals consistency i think is going to be really really big the second you go from someone who talks a lot to someone who doesn't talk a lot is not good because a lot of people are going to be paying attention to that so if she can keep up with that and stay like if she does get thrown in an impostor role if she has consistency she's going to be fine but to speak a lot is never a bad thing to talk a lot to not talk a lot can be a bad thing because you're either trying to hide something or if you're not consistent and when you find yourself where you're not talking a lot and you're suddenly you know talking a ton like you're either trying to just get yourself out of a situation but you got to feel out the lobby to get that no definitely makes sense and with that i think we are set for a round number two hopefully this time with uh fewer in a little less influence from us on on the casting back yeah third party imposters so uh with that being said i think in three two one match start let's play maybe if you're thinking oh
