Hermitcraft 7: Episode 48 - STOLE THE DIAMOND THRONE

today's hermitcraft episode starts with a bit of a strange request iskall wants me to meet up with him and he says it's very urgent and it's very serious and that has me concerned i mean i think he referenced the shopping district and i seem to remember i took a lot of stuff from his shop and then said you know how much do i owe you he seems he seems ah i mean there's no point in putting it off let's just find out shall we oh dear oh mega oh yeah i was gonna say that sounded painful that didn't sound that didn't sound good in the slightest um wait wait wait wait wait what is that you can't have these you can't have wait so it's oh i mean it's beautiful and awful at the same time it's so yeah we got a serious uh thing to discuss okay took some resources how much do i owe you partner i assume that this is you uh yes yeah i mean now that we're in a partnership i actually have something else to do to show you something else that's serious is there anything else i've done what else have i done i feel i suddenly feel very guilty this is like when you know when you have a police car behind you and you're driving you're like what is everything bad that i've done in my entire life and then you start sweating i don't know if you know this but there is apparently a resistance growing am i cedium resistance growing on the server it's some sort of underground society and and then i find a chicken yeah which i now have to find again i was going to say yeah are you allowed to choose your challenges by the way i guess yes that's what i think this sign says it says it it is up to you who does which challenge oh there we go yeah so you can choose them much looking at chickens later replace diathrone with mycelium but that but so wait hang on because that seems so so there's a mycelium resistance i mean i'm not a part of it unless it's really secret like unless we're both being super secretive right now right who knows and but what does this mean for that like does this i mean exactly my thought process the thought process you have in your brain head right now is exactly what i was thinking and why this is so funny well so yeah and get away with it this is a good move i'm liking the sound of this so so wait and where do we put the diamonds this is the other question like what do we do we'll figure it out i wonder how many diamonds are there this is actually i mean i i do feel are we actually going to remove the diamonds because we have to that's we are challenged to do so we can't like make our own that is true yeah no we have been actually challenged to do it so that means that we still have to do it no before before the comments light us up down in the comment section this isn't us okay no no this is we are forced to do this yeah we have no choice right what's the best way to attack this do we go top to bottom or bottom to top or middle to out to sideways to sideways what do we think spiral i will strike i will i will i mean we have to replace it at the same time so it looks exactly the same i'm gonna chuck some and then i start at the top you can start at the seat area right this if this resembles a throne by the end of this i will be like beyond impressed we should be proud and also we're gonna make sure to not lose any diamond blocks yeah because like if one drops it's like oh oh it's this feels like a lot of pressure dude i've placed two bits and i already feel bad yeah i feel i feel really bad as well but again a challenge is a challenge hang on a minute we've been hurt mate have you seen this the diamond throne is hollow is it i can't believe this i feel like the value of the hermitcraft server has just dropped there's a massive hole in it i can't get in you know you have to drop in near me oh my oh my what wait hold on you're in a different hollow than me no i no i will strike behind you dude this seemed like that seemed like a big shock to me uh i kind of always imagined that we were kind of a solid diamond throne server but apparently not yeah no well there are solid diamond throne servers and the then and then there's hermitcraft i guess so there's the hollow ones i think for the challenge to be complete it needs to look exactly the same exactly the same but with mycelium i mean how many how many diamond blocks have you broken so far because my progress is slow mine to 42 i picked up yeah i'm on 20. this is not good this might actually take us all day do we leave the tiny diamonds or are you gonna replace those with tiny myceliums well i only have like seven tiny mycelium but we should try i think i think the goal should be we should try to replace it okay oh dude it's looking really cool already though it actually looks really cool if we miss a diamond inside cause like i've got to the point where it's easy to miss yes diamonds yes i i mean that doesn't matter are you just are you just covering your back for the comments yes yes that's not 100 what you're doing isn't it because you know there's going to be little jim who's going to pop up in the comment section going up 4 33 i saw it i told it there's a diamond left oh i can't believe this jimmy jimmy calm down okay jim can i call you james james chill i am really worried that i'm missing a lot of diamonds yes i can see a diamond block sitting behind you so you're not filling me with much with much hope this is genuinely hard though because i don't want to miss a single one and i also don't want to lose diamonds there are diamond blocks floating around it makes me stressed it does it does a little bit we don't want to lower the value of the hermitcraft server i think the way that i've worked out how to do it this is this is a top tip for anyone at home who wants to replace their diamond thrones with myself this is extremely relatable advice oh how to 1 101 yeah so what you want to do is you want to mine downwards in strips and then build upwards with your mycelium i've just picked up about 20 diamond blocks you what are you doing i just rocked them now it's fine i got i got this sitting around in the middle oh gosh that remember this is not our challenge this is the business we are forced we did not choose to do this this is not we did okay yeah yeah yeah we we literally chose the chicken we laughed at it and we said that would be our choice yeah but i'm here like the scar know how many diamond blocks it is or what would happen if a few would yeah we could shave some off the top i'm sure but surely he doesn't have a precise count i mean how many do you have right now because i've got nearly two stacks oh my goodness this class in my inventory is so annoying just for a little bit of context iskall filled my inventory with glass earlier what is this just come to me stop doing things that are really absolutely confusing and bizarre to me so now that's all explained dude this is looking this is looking fantastic oh my goodness we've actually almost done it should we put a sign in saying we have we have no idea what we're doing like we might we might want to put that in front of our in front of this throne no no i think i think it doesn't even need to be that obvious really so i was going to come in and he's going to say mycelium resistance did this right so we're we're we're not going to lay any claim to this no none no i think do you want to take credit for this i mean it's one of the ugliest things i've ever built i mean i was happy with it until you said it was one of the ugliest things i think the thing is causing issues maybe is like the diamond stalks that are up at the top that's a weird one i don't really understand what that's all about oh wait we remove all the diamond stalks yes and then we place mushrooms here oh okay yeah i like that i like that idea do you know when you say something to your friends that you hope that they like yeah and then you can hear in their voice that as they are agreeing they're not actually liking the idea have you ever felt that way um i mean like specifically when when have you felt it just out of interest just now you know what from the entrance it actually doesn't look that bad like it really doesn't look that bad the issue is if you fly out and then as you're flying in it's it's horrible it's really horrible it's just not it's not a good look at all you just saw a wall of death yeah it's rough it's rough dude do we have to replace these like these carpets and things i mean i think these aren't fitting in with the theme really either so do we also you you want to take it to the next level here dude i mean i feel like you know in for a penny in for a pound we've replaced all the diamond blocks in in the in the throne i feel like at least we have to make this match the vibe as well do you realize that we are right now walking around with the entire rigidity of the hermitcraft server yeah i feel like we should imagine if we both died and lost it would be quite funny it would be i think we'd get cancelled we would get cancelled yeah true i mean what what are we actually gonna do with this should we should we store them in a vault or something i mean we need to i think i think it's important that we don't that we don't seem to take the notes right no no no no i mean i can i could i could create like a little vault or something i could build a vault in the shopping district that just stores the diamonds temporarily yes okay you get that task this is starting to look more and more complete i'm live i'm loving this i'm loving the old grandma's carpet we've got old grandma's carpet out the front we've got shrooms growing on top of this i'm sorry forever doubting you do because this looks that actually looks really good and that's really upsetting that you you you called me out for not sounding that enthusiastic which i thought was a bit rude okay because i tried my hardest to sound enthusiastic about your idea and you called me up for it all right but now that you're doing it yeah this is this is cool wow there's actually a lot of diamond blocks in my inventory right now this is the richest i've ever been see you later i'm going to join a different server take my diamonds with me bring the diamonds over right so we've got so we've got four seven stacks seven stacks in seven and three micro blocks seven stacks and seven yes that's that's insane right that's like is that over four thousand i actually expected it to be more i'm almost a little bit i'm a little bit disappointed yeah i could i could tell in your voice that you're like that's that's insane wow that is crazy that's wow it's i think the exact number is four thousand ninety five wow some head master some some masks off the top of the head as long as you feel comfortable with me with me being responsible for them okay i will build the vote i feel almost relieved that i have officially we have it on camera i have no control over the diamonds okay if i genuinely lose them i'm really really scared i'm gonna lose them okay you have to make it you have to make one of those i'm sorry yeah apology video ladies and gentlemen um i'll bring you this video today in a completely monotone sad voice because i want to emphasize that i'm sad i need to do the back hang on i i have lost the hermitcraft thrown diamonds and what's worse is it's all mumbo-jumbo's fault and on that note it's time to make sure that that never ever happens so i'm currently in possession of the entire hermitcraft servers diamonds which yeah i mean i'm not gonna lie it's a little bit of pressure but i've been thinking a lot about this secure vault and i've remembered you know green seems to be kind of the head of this mycelium resistance thing and scar already owns a kaguma so i mean we can we can bring back the goomba thing for those who don't know my first business on the hermitcraft server which was incredibly unsuccessful was the keep green out of my resources vaults and i sold one and it was the scar so i guess i could just build another one use the same key code that scar used for his original kaguma and that means that everyone on the server including green can't actually gain access to the resources i mean this is it seems like a flawless plan to me i would say that this spot right here is the perfect spot for the entry point to wakaguma so that's going to drop us down into like a cabin area and then the vault will be somewhere off in this direction hopefully a little bit closer towards the town hall i am really really surprised that we don't have haste 2 in the shopping district but i feel like hermitcraft one of the best examples of multiplayer minecraft should at least have haste two in every area of the shopping district this is a disgrace first we find out that the diamond pile is in fact hollow and now this this this could be the end of us anyway i would say that this right here is probably enough space so i think what i want to do now is i'm basically going to convert this into looking like a cave so i'm going to do a little bit of ruining i'm going to make it look like it's been mined out kind of by hand secretly in this sort of style you see what i mean it's like a minecraft cave but if minecraft caves were a little bit better than they currently are you know we've got slabs we've got a little bit of cobblestone action we've got a few different textures that's going to go this is going to go but you can kind of get the picture i like this i kind of like this i almost wish that real minecraft caves looked like this i imagine how cool that would be anyway this thing is now all done it is now it is now ready to be dropped into here is our vault door at the end which still needs to be hooked up with redstone but i guess first things first i should probably conceal the entrance to this place as well like this should be a hidden secret secure vault i don't know why i'm increasing the security so much because obviously the diamonds have just been sat in there for like the whole season and obviously nobody's stolen them but now now i feel the need to keep them secure because i'm in charge of them i'm building up a little two by two flush trap door right here which is going to be activated through some form of hidden activation device that i haven't decided on just yet everything is now that's not good as i was saying everything is now all up and running working well we've got the trap door in place hidden activation device hidden activation device hidden activation device huh i mean this button on the bar seems pretty good you know it's been here the whole time there's buttons all over the barge i mean if i press it does anything actually happen is it already hooked up to some form of hidden activation device no it doesn't doesn't seem like it i suppose you could run it across into the trapdoor that's nice and easy and it was quite nice and easy so i've added in a bunch of delay into this thing so that when you press it you're gonna have to wait a little while and then the trapdoor will open up very quickly and then close up behind you so it's really it's about a secret as it gets and then to get out we've got this button and this is attached to a pulse extender so that you can easily fly out i mean this is this is a pretty good system now the only issue that i will mention is that xp crafted did walk past as i was building it and he did stare down into the hole okay because the trap door was open and he yeah he he i mean i think he saw okay but then i said it in the chat you saw nothing and he seemed to agree so i think we're in the clear but then again he does seems to be hanging around a little bit i mean i'm just a tiny bit concerned that he might not have saw nothing if we have to kill him then we will you know it's for the course so now it's time for our 4x4 piston door and to do this i'm using my super ridiculously compact design that i built sometime last year i'm still incredibly proud of this thing i mean 4x4 piston doors are some of my favorite piston doors in minecraft and the fact that i managed to make it even smaller than my already small design which i made a few years ago makes me very proud i mean just look at this thing look at it there's no redstone behind those pistons that is that is it redstone contraptions in 2020 don't even look like redstone contraptions anymore and now that all the blocks are in place please just ignore the fact that i ran out of iron blocks and had to use stone this thing is all working and it is working fast and it is fun to watch these sorts of redstone contraptions they please me they you know they're just i could do this all day long probably chapter bits for that one right let's actually build up the vault does anyone in the shopping district sell obsidian i would be incredibly happy if i found someone selling obsidian because i really can't be bothered to mine it today oh come on i actually feel bad only playing two diamonds that is i'm gonna give four dark i can't only give it takes forever to mine a stack of obsidian four diamonds for you now obviously there's no way that i can make this vault completely impenetrable for the hermits i can't use bedrock or anything like that but i at least want to make it a pain in the backside so i'm using obsidian for the casing around the diamonds and this this is where things begin to get very very nerve-wracking because i now have the entire diamond the i mean i have all the diamonds the hermitcraft server in my inventory right now and i'm just going to i'm just going to place them in i feel like placing in all of the diamonds and then leaving the shulker box on top is probably the best way to do things here would you not agree i mean i'm scared i'm scared to even have them in my possession i kind of don't want them in my possession so i'm just going to pick them up and and i i'm gonna put them down here there we go maybe i need to put a few more diamonds around that i would say is the adequate number of diamonds i've even got a sign pointing to the diamonds in the diamond throne and obviously the shulker box is called throne.zip so everything is good everything is good everything is ready to be secured now i'm just in the process of building up the little card reader type thing i'm using the same key card that i used for scars original kaguma so as long as he still has his original geek card then he'll be able to access this vault and i'm not going to show that key card in the video to give us an extra layer of security but i do just want to make sure that everything is working properly and it looks like it is i'm a fan i'm a fan of volt i like volts i like volts and storing things behind vaults i mean it's just this is cool in a way i'm kind of glad that i stole the diamond throne i mean it's been fun stealing the diamond throne i'd do it again in fact it could be argued that what i've done just here is actually improve the hermitcraft server because i haven't stolen the thrones diamonds i've actually just made the thrones diamonds a lot more secure and then replaced the throne with with other blocks i mean it's difficult to call this an improvement isn't it well either way that is challenge completed everything has been done and now now we can see what happens i hope this doesn't start something thanks for
