HermitCraft 6: 136 | The NOW Deals & GROMBIE

hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to another episode of hermitcraft season six today is potentially a very big day and as such I'm wearing my monocle my beautiful mustache and my rich suit the reason it's a big day today is because potentially we will get a visitor mumbo will potentially visit us today to inspect the villager build-off and as such I have done some massive visual and functional improvements and cleanups since the last episode and take a look at this I have finished the prison build and this took me absolutely ages because I didn't really know what I wanted to do with it but I think it came out really really cool looking in the end of it so I decided to have the red stone for the villager lock cells visible on the back and then in order to make it look a little bit like some sort of prison in the front I added these iron bars and then inside yeah inside it's just next-level I I really really like this although I should probably do something clean up here this is yeah should probably clean that up but the regardless of that I really really like it I'm not entirely sure if I wanted this dark but I think it looks really cool and I've also started to trade with tool Smiths so I've started to trade with the guys who are gonna give us the perfect diamond pickaxe the perfect diamond axe and I believe as well since 114 the perfect diamond shovel and I have yet to find one the best one I found is this guy here and this is a pretty good one it has silk touch but I would like it to have unbreaking 3 and self-taught for it to be perfect now this is the main reason why we need this prison once we get into these tools myths and Armorer's like this guy here I'm going to need to dispose of them because they will not be perfect first time around in fact I'll probably spend about 30 villagers to give one with a good trade but yeah that that's why I needed the whole disposal thing speaking about the disposal thing let's send him over there I've actually done a massive change to what was once a chimney now take a look at that so in the last episode I installed these smokestacks inside this day and assigned it like a chimney however the smokestacks didn't work the campfires was actually blocking the villager from being showed up all the way to Emerald heaven which is where they love to be by the way that's like their favorite place much better than being locked in a cell and trading with an escalator fire so instead I made this into like some sort of launch rocket machine and I think this is looking really cool and now this should also be functioning a hundred percent yep and he goes up to emerald heaven that's a portal up there boof and they get to like emerald land where emerald blocks are stone or I mean like you know what I mean you know what every I've also made sure to finally clean up my storage room look at this this is so good I mean there's still some stuff over here and this is like my end raiding stuff I have no idea where I'm gonna put this so this all started with me making this book I've made a list of stuff that I want to get done that are kind of grinded tasks and I'm also in between episodes collected a bunch of sand I mean just take a look at this this is a beautiful beautiful view and I've also updated my restaurant supplies and gold and yes I did go to cherry computers and I did spend a bunch of diamonds but don't worry we still have a lot of diamonds left we have 33 blocks and then in my rigidus box we should have a full stack so still rich still rich still definitely rich and I really hope to not lose the competition there is however one more thing I want to get done with the villager build off before Mambo gets here and I'm actually a little bit stressed because this is not going to be super simple but inside our vending machine for the or the library vending machine I need to install a zombification module so Mambo has in his trading hall a way to zombified the villagers over and over again and I want to be able to do that as well because otherwise we're just gonna lose and I have a little bit of an idea if I can get our Sambi to sit down here and then using a piston raising him up on a signal he would attack the villager that we have ordered in the vending machine and then we can simply plop him down back down again I think that would be a solution that we could do so first things first we have got to get a new zombie a new Rodriguez and he has to be able to pick up a mob skull which none of these guys are able to do so I guess luckily I still have this place just punched out all the torches okay I hear a zombie in there oh no that skeleton saw me that guy actually picked up a block that means that he can pick up a moped come on guy yes okay got him that was that was very successful I will say as for the skull of this guy there are a million reasons to use this head let's see you should equip that nice the best okay I want to give this guy though something that you guys said when we did this last time with Rodriguez this guy is going to have a diamond axe with sharpness and it would be really fitting if I could purchase a diamond axe from another villager and I should have someone selling access here we go I'm breaking three that's actually perfect and I just realized this is a historical moment because this is the very first time I use this because I need to use it so el Pablo arrived and you sir or selling sharpness 5 for 9 emeralds let's just name this axe the G and actually if I'm a bit a little bit smart I should transport our Grom B from B yes our Grom B to the location before I give him the axe that way he won't deal that much damage to me ok so I got a piston down there and the idea would be that that powers off and grumble travels up which makes his head space be in this granite space and then he should be able to attack the villager I wonder if I would need to take him out of the minecart I'm not entirely sure about that but I was also thinking if we could it would be so good to fit a dispenser right there for the potion of weakness cuz I really don't want to be throwing that out although how in the world would I wire the dispenser I'm not sure if that's impossible but that's gonna be the next problem first we gotta get grumble into gumbo is that not gree in a mumble combined yeah grumpy grumpy we gotta get grumpy we gotta get grumpy into position so if I just power this bloke here he should be on his way that looks so funny I don't know about you guys but I would love to have a personal little green traveling around in a minecart being controlled by us that would be hilarious anyway our grumpy grumpy is now in place that's beautiful and then if I push this lever hopefully it doesn't glitch through flick the lever I should say yeah okay now the question is if he can reach the villager that would be sitting there but I guess unfortunately we're gonna just have to test that and bad things may happen but with the Grom be in place and with this lever being able to control him I think that we are ready for a test now which of these villagers is my least favorite one I mean they're all really really good but I think we're gonna go for Kosh and Kosh if this goes wrong I'm terribly sorry I'm terribly sorry let's order Kosh and I just want to make sure that everything goes smoothly I'm really nervous about this one I'm really probably more nervous that I should be to be honest but course is in place right let's try and get Grom be to see him I like how you can sometimes just catch greens eyes in the back there it's been a minute and he hasn't attacked him I have a feeling he can't see him properly let's get rid of that no what am i doing he's not in a minecart anymore oh okay okay okay no get into my cart yes okay let's put a slab up there and let's try and send me back that was that was really stupid a skull here we go and he is back in place okay nice so this time let's put a slab there let's try this out yes he immediately attacked course however courses in a weird position though why is caution a weird position I learned from when I did this with Rodriguez that it can take literally minutes for them to attack them he has notched him once and I'm hoping that's a sign that it's actually working oh and he did it again I'm pretty sure I just missed it I'm gonna give him not Harry the G can you pick that up mr. green be Grimm Grimm be pick it up pick it up pick it up pick up the axe you're gonna switch out your concrete block for an axe right zombie come on now don't be stupid there we go the coach is now turned into a gold and plated zomb art okay that works so then we will switch our grimby down and weakness hopefully that hit him and a Golden Apple yeah okay so that seems to be working now the is when Kosh gets out of this state he may very well end up down in here like he may fly out there or he may sink through the block he's gonna get out of the minecart regardless oh no oh no cautious burning coach is burning his helmet just broken I was like what why did that happen Oh course she's back coach is back he didn't change position what okay and his trades are even better to fortune three books for one emerald each this is actually working it's actually working here's a trick that I learned in a stream if you want to rename something back to their original name put a space in the repair box and there you go you can do that with chunky boxes it's absolutely amazing anyway let's see if this does the trick first of all no he really doesn't like that axe okay here comes the sword this should definitely be a switch right yes okay thank you for the concrete block mr. grim B so after about half an hour of trying to wire it so that I separated these two redstone signals I think I've come up with something that works and hopefully the dispenser is separated from everything else including the rail back so we put in some weakness pulses there we've got Al Pablo and let's bring up the grumbo he did attack him immediately oh and that power are you kidding me that actually powered the dispenser oh I thought I tested everything this is impossible okay this may actually have done it so I had a notebook placed between here but leaving that an air gap should mean that it works and hopefully he got weakened by it yes he did okay that's working finally thank goodness that is working el Pablo is back to being el Pablo and he now sells sharpest five for one emerald I will never stop being amazed with how cool this mechanic is I've really really liked the new villager system now I want to do one more thing that's a little bit of a touch of decimal touch and that is to name this guy silenced silence I think is the correct way to do this let's try that out yeah okay now he renamed to silence nice so now that guy won't make any sombart noises and yeah everything is good everything is actually working I don't know if you could tell but I'm so very happy with this things this is a little bit of a struggle but it is working and we came out resumed before them after they're in the vending machine and to be fair this feels like a pretty nifty little contraption it wasn't bad at all so with all of the preparations done over the past few days I feel ready to invite mumble over to my place yeah I am curious about what this thing this thing is where a gun good looks like it does look like a cannon yes railgun cannon rail cannon well if you press this button here yep and then take a few steps back and pay attention we should see just lost in that moment I feel like I should put myself in set instead cannons because I don't have anything like that oh no that is Oliver mmm-hmm I'm actually quite impressed by this it is I think what I know exactly how it will go down is gal is your go okay alright where's the villagers oh yeah they're up here and then you'll trade with them up here no why that this has is 11 seconds for Oliver that's your longest that's the longest time it takes to find a villager okay just to warn you as you come through the nether portal I still haven't fixed where the creeper blew up I know that causes you pain the classic mumble I can't believe how one can live like like green lives were sheltered messes everywhere you live with holes everywhere yeah I I know this is that's a bad one I really need to fix it but I just keep forgetting I've even got all the resources to fix it pretty much in my inventory right now I just yeah I haven't I haven't got around to it and then the other day I went to make concrete in your maker and someone had put cyan clay there and I was like what did you do that with you in my defense I am clay and gray stained pink powder is very similar they look exactly the same [Laughter] I do apologise it's not I don't have an entrance yet alright okay it's a work in progress it's what I plan on doing today but it's um I I haven't managed to do it because certain things took a little bit longer than I expected so I see so I'm just a common villager yeah I mean longer than expected I I got a new computer and I was playing around with raytrace shaders for about two hours you know so I was looking at my base through sunsets and things for far longer than to be fair to be fair that is say that there is a legit excuse down we pop ooh fancy entrance yes you do remember by the way before we go any further you do remember that the book says security points for security remember work in progress still I feel like this is a contest the only way that I'm not gonna have to pay you 200 diamonds is by never letting the contest end I'm working on it mate not a problem really yeah next Tuesday seeing Dan you never put an end date for villages you got it up there mine is 15 preventing machine I have three vending machines 245 but I have to go between vending machines to find driver litter so that is what if what if you have to walk to the other vending machine and then it's an 11-second weight from that vending machine the thing is I think it's safe to say there's merits to both state systems like the you know this is this is I guess the slightly less cool but potentially let's be honest maybe not agreeing that this is more efficient than mine no okay okay I will agree with one thing though yeah this is like the coolest ceiling I've ever seen okay there has to be something at least that you find cool about this yeah you're beating me by far in the ceiling Department remember as well that I my ceiling is a work in progress I don't have a ceiling on it yet because I'm gonna see yours so I think I'm the one that ends up being better off there because I think yeah you you have less to lose I don't know how math works well either way okay so here's the thing here's the good thing about this contest is both of us are gonna end up with sweet villager trading systems yes that's it like wait I'm already happy with this you're already really happy with yours we're now literally just doing this for just I don't even know why we're doing it why are we doing this in scale 200 diamonds well the 200 diamonds yes but then I mean why do we even put up the 200 diamond bet because we knew we were gonna go this far we knew we were so we're just doing it just because I have very important detail that I forgot to show you that you need to see before we depart okay okay I'm sorry to say but you need to see it we need to go back ten thousand blocks so the reason we've gone all the way back here yes your case I paid attention to details knowing that this is gonna be decimal-based yeah and so the item filters you may wanna have a look in the item filters here we travel ten thousand blocks so that I could see your your green dye no I'm the buy not to die the other thing okay so fine okay to see this but I was thinking well I mean the green dye for sub two mumbo yeah what's the fourth or well let's remember see I had to do I had to do I had to type sub to mumbo sold many times because I needed to fill all droppers and so if you don't think that's enough come back over here oh hang on there's green as well yep the koi fish no cuz he's he looks like a cod his skin looks like a court yes have you never seen a green face in a cold face next to each other I'd say I'm actually the most fish like at this point inside that that's the so horrendous dude it's just it's awful now I had an absolute blast together with mumbo both blasting him and him blast three me all in good fun of course because we are you have a rule in this together I kind of feel like we both come up with things that are really really useful and we learn are at least I learn a lot from the stuff that mumbo does and I think I would like to think that he also gets some inspiration from the stuff that I do but if you want to see the entirety of the tour in my base for mumbo then do go and check his video out I decided to leave most of that out as you guys have seen me tour it so if you want to see his reaction to stuff you must go check his video out anyway now I want to do one more thing today and that is to head over to Sahara now because I want to present you guys with three deals that I have thought of and come up with for the Sahara now before we leave though I thought it would be appropriate to give our grumbeigh some more fitting clothes there's your shirt and there's your pants and there's your boots [Laughter] perfect so Fred Sahara first of all I did check with green and he really liked the build so we're all good there you guys all seem to like it as well except for the fact that you guys want this button to be red I kind of see red dislike a negative color though I know I know my robe is red but in terms of buttons and selections I'd see red as a negative color and this is basically next so maybe maybe white yeah that may actually be better it feels a little bit more balanced I think that's a pretty good change okay so let's take a look at the deals that I am going to propose to the orchid to the other architect members I should say so the first deal how does this work I press this one for the next one yep the first deal is the mine kit and I've also named these shell key boxes to include the price so that we can differentiate the price if we would want to for the difference deals and then just to make it a little bit more personal so you can get the mine kit which is a full beacon with all the required iron blocks for 10 diamonds now of course remember that the Sahara now deals also include the shell key box so I mean this is this is a fantastic fantastic price the next one is a blue box because this is another thing that I've done I decided to go and color the different deals I just think it's a little bit cooler than if every single box would be yellow like the Sahara yellow so the blue box is seal anthers and it's called bright and again ten diamonds we got an orange box called hot hot hot filled to the brim with blaze rods again for ten diamonds a white box called organic with bone blocks and oak logs and the idea is here that these are both sort of log stuff that you grow things with I I don't know it's it's a really good deal oh and the last one I prepared is the adventure this one includes a sword some boots a diamond pickaxe that has perfect stats except for mending and another garbage pickaxe a minecart just for the laughs I don't I don't know why I put a mine cart in there and then analyzer with mending and I'm braking and I think we can all agree that these deals are absolutely fantastic like if I were the other Hermits I would totally buy a membership and want to be able to check these deals out and the cool thing with this system what excites me the most is that we will be doing different deals every single time we run out and I'm really I'm really really really excited about that so I'm gonna put these deals in the Sahara office suggested Sahara Now deals orange that looks that looks really really freaky yeah I think I think the white is better okay so I suggest it's are now deals and I guess I will send them a message on discord but hopefully they will respond see lantern missing here that's that's very annoying okay it's supposed to be you get the point well yeah hopefully they take a look at this and hopefully we can have a meeting in the next episode so that we can open Sahara now for real because this time the redstone is actually working immediately there is no issues with it and we could technically open it I saw a lot of suggestions in the comment field of the Sahara now video when I built that that we need to make a key card for the members to join that may be something that we do it unless we're gonna do an honor system I'm not entirely sure but regardless of that it is it is fully functioning but that's gonna do it for today ladies and gentlemen I've had such a good time in this episode is once again been a lot of stuff that we got done in this episode and hopefully we were able to inspire mumbo I I certainly got very inspired by his beautiful seeming in his trading hole
