[DRAMATIC MUSIC] NARRATOR: Previously
on "Hell's Kitchen." Marc, get off your island
and work with your team. NARRATOR: Marc ignored
Chef Ramsay's advice. Keep sending me up, I'm
going to keep fighting. You're not fighting. You're lying. NARRATOR: And continued to
mix it up with his team. You have three items, Cody. Three! They're not going to be
able to send me home. I'm motivated right
now and inspired. Let's not ever do that. OK? 1, 2, 3. NARRATOR: In a challenge
where the chefs had to get creative with burgers-- Come on, guys. Bring some up. NARRATOR: Both teams scrambled
to choose their ingredients. Avocado. Here's feta cheese for Lamb. NARRATOR: And while it wasn't
in the cards for the Blue Team-- - Just a touch pink.
- A touch pink. Yeah. That is hot. Might need a fire extinguisher. NARRATOR: Jordan-- Lovely crunch. The point goes
to the Red Team. GORDON RAMSAY: Congratulations.
- Yes. NARRATOR: Nikki-- If I was getting
that at a restaurant, I would be very happy.
Point to the Red Team. [DING]
WOMAN: Yes! Thank you so much. NARRATOR: And Mary Lou-- Wow. Is that a good wow? Yeah, very good. NARRATOR: --impressed guest
judge, Laurent Tourondel-- I will give point
to the Red Team. NARRATOR: --and secured the
victory for the Red Team. Yes. We won. NARRATOR: Later that
night, in dinner service-- GORDON RAMSAY: Risotto
are beautifully cooked. Thank you, Chef. Going to the pass. NARRATOR: --the Red
Team's momentum continued. GORDON RAMSAY:
Nikki, exceptional. Thank you, Chef. GORDON RAMSAY: Marc! NARRATOR: As for the Blue Team-- That's disgusting. NARRATOR: --they couldn't
get out of their own way. Sorry. So sorry. Blue Team, come here. Just look at that meat there. It's raw. Ice fucking cold. Get out! NARRATOR: The Blue
Team not only lost-- Personally, I think you've
lost the opportunity to speak-- - So I can't speak now?
- Go ahead. MARC QUINONES: You
can kiss my ass. NARRATOR: --but continued
their nightly ritual. We are done having
a conversation. [INTERPOSING VOICES] We are done! NARRATOR: At elimination,
the Blue Team nominated-- Marc, Chef. NARRATOR: But their second
nomination shocked everyone. Me, Chef. NARRATOR: Chef
Ramsay eliminated-- Marc. NARRATOR: --who
had to say goodbye to his dream of
becoming the head chef at Hell's Kitchen, Lake Tahoe. And now, the continuation
of "Hell's Kitchen." Now that your
weakest link is gone, he is not your excuse anymore. Get out of here. Yes, Chef. We got rid of the cancer
that was on the team, and that's Marc. Now, with the three of us-- Cody, me, and Amber--
we can work together. We can do this. I'm so depressed. You got to watch
yourself on that team. Declan and Cody, they're
gunning after you. Now that Marc's gone, I
have a target on my back. All my dishes
are always strong. I know. They're ready to
throw me off the boat with a brick tied to my
leg and let me go under, and it's like, sorry,
man, I'm here to hang. You cannot trust any of them. I don't like you.
You know that? I really don't. You like me a lot. I know I do. You're a nice person.
- Yes. And you're pretty. Yes. Thanks, buddy. You cover a lot of bases. [CHUCKLES] I think Cody's very nice. I really like talking to him. I'm having fun
getting to know him. Your man drops anything on
the ground, and I am there. I don't have a man. Oh, shit. Where's the application? Ooh la la. Aw. KORI SUTTON: Cody and Mary
Lou are so cute together. OK, you need to just-- the fuck out of here. But Miss Mary Lou, keep
your head in the game. Don't let anything or
anyone get in your way. Oh, [INAUDIBLE]. Yay, I win. [HUMMING] [INTENSE MUSIC] [UPBEAT MUSIC] That looks like Vegas. Welcome to the first
ever "Spells Kitchen." Oh, shit. Oh, man. I love game shows. I love game shows. Chefs, this
challenge is really designed to understand
which of you can think quickly on your feet. And each round, each
chef, one from each team, will head up to the podium. Then, a scrambled ingredient
will show on the screen. Blue Team, what is that? ALL: Bell pepper, Chef. GORDON RAMSAY: Very good. Answer correctly, you get to
choose to keep the ingredient, and you'll assign that
ingredient to those proteins. Or send it to the opposing team. If you get an answer
right, you can choose to kind of sabotage the other team. That's a fun little twist. Mary Lou and Amber,
step up to the podium. - All right, Mary Lou, let's go.
- Come on, Mary Lou. Come on, Amber. Here is your first scramble. [CHIMES] Amber. Fennel. That is correct. [DING] Now, is the fennel going
to go with the ribeye, halibut, or veal
chop, or do you want to pass it to the Red Team?
What would you like? We're going to take
it on the halibut. GORDON RAMSAY: You're got
to take it on the halibut. Right, second scramble. Here we go. Amber. Swiss chard. GORDON RAMSAY: Well done. Swiss chard. Hey, I'm feeling a little bit. Dang. She's so good with
these letters. We'll take it on ribeye. - [INAUDIBLE] on a game show.
- Right. Ready for the third scramble?
Here we go. Come on, Mary Lou.
Trigger finger. Come on. Parsnip? [BUZZ] GORDON RAMSAY: It's not parsnip. It's spinach. MARY LOU DAVIS: I got nervous. Amber, you have control. Where would you like to send it? I will give it to the
Red Team on their halibut. Why? Spinach is just kind of lame. GORDON RAMSAY: Red
Team, you're gonna have to bring the spinach to life. Amber, well done. Cody versus Jordan. Let's go, [IMITATES BEEP]. Damn. Eggplant, Chef. Dammit. Cody, well done. What would you
like to do with it? Veal chop, Chef. GORDON RAMSAY: Here we go. Oh, I know that one. OK. Now, we're doing parsnip. JORDAN SAVELL: Parsnip. GORDON RAMSAY: Well done. We'll keep it
for the veal chop. Big D versus Kori. Yes, Chef. Cauliflower, Chef. I'm gonna put the cauliflower
with the ribeye, Chef. Carrot. That is correct, Kori. Ribeye. We're keeping it. Broccolini. We're going to keep it
with the veal, Chef. GORDON RAMSAY: Right.
Next pair. Amber, you're back on. First scramble. Polenta. - Smart.
- OK. We'll put it on the veal. Asparagus. Correct. We'll put that on
our ribeye as well. GORDON RAMSAY: Nice move. Pineapple. Is it a keeper or a sender? I'm going to sabotage
them with this one. I'm going to put that pineapple
where it just doesn't belong. I'm going to put that
with their halibut. Ouch. Smart move, Nikki. Yes. Good luck. Next pair. CODY CANDELARIO: So I'm going up
against a little old Mary Lou. She's hella cute. This is a fun-ass match-up. Watercress. Basmati rice. Tomato. GORDON RAMSAY: Well done. We'll send it to their ribeye. We'll put the basmati
rice on our halibut. Pass that to the Blue Team
and put that on their halibut. - You're on fire.
- Thanks, Chef. GORDON RAMSAY: Welcome
back, Mary Lou. Ha ha ha ha, sucker. GORDON RAMSAY: Next pair. Fingerlings. Goes well with your veal. That's where it's going, Chef. Celery root. Boom. Chef, we will keep
that for our ribeye. Pearl onion. Take it for the veal, Chef. One ingredient left. Come on, Kori. Get this last one. MARY LOU DAVIS: Oh,
that's a good one. JORDAN SAVELL: Come on.
Come on. Come on, Kori. Come on. - Amber.
- Avocado. GORDON RAMSAY: That's correct. NARRATOR: With the
Blue Team's board already full of ingredients,
Amber has two choices. You can put avocado
on their halibut, or you can eliminate
one of yours. I'm thinking to myself, right,
if we've got an avocado, we can get rid of the pineapple. It's simple. We'll put the avocado
on their halibut. What the hell? Amber, you made a mistake. Y'all keep that
shitty pineapple. We don't want that. All boards are complete. Right now, I'd like the
teams to decide on which chef is cooking which protein. Now, Red Team, because
you have four, one of you is going to have to double up. I feel comfortable
with the ribeye. We can work on the halibut. Yeah. I'll do the veal. I want the ribeye. Pineapple can be a
bitch of an ingredient, because it can be
incredibly overpowering. But if I can make this work,
that's an opportunity to shine. Red Team, Blue Team,
your 40 minutes starts now. Let's go. Good luck. NARRATOR: In today's challenge-- DECLAN HORGAN: We are 40
minutes, guys and girls. We got this in the bag. NARRATOR: --each
chef must prepare a dish with their chosen protein
and its assigned ingredients. Oh, right. Aprons on. So what are you doing? I think I'm going to make
an avocado compound butter. NARRATOR: Mary Lou and Nicole
will each cook a halibut dish. The avocado, I'm
not quite sure yet. NARRATOR: And the
team will decide which dish to present to Chef Ramsay. I've never done this before. It's all in my head. The avocado is going to
be the most challenging piece of this ingredient list. It is a little bit difficult to
apply to a random halibut dish. Come on, avocado. Talk to me. Tell me what you want
to be when you grow up. Just over 20, guys. Heard you. Heard. I need this fat spot to cook. The thick part in
this veal chop, I'm a little worried about. I don't want it
to be undercooked. Dammit. Is it still too soft right here? Somebody come feel this. I'd give it a quick flash with
some butter, but real quick. Yeah. Hopefully, it doesn't screw me. This has got to go
back in for a second. There's 15 minutes left. - 15 minutes heard.
- 15 minutes heard. Thank you. I'm feeling pretty
good right now. I'm hella excited. I decided to go with the pickled
pineapple and the vinaigrette. What do you think? Banging. This halibut set's
gonna be fire. Yes! Don't get cocky until after
he eats your food at least. Yeah.
Yeah. Just over eight
minutes, Blue Team. Yes?
Eight minutes. Thank you. Come on. For my ribeye I don't
have a hard enough sear, and I'm running out of time. So I throw a pan on it. It's kind of the quick and
dirty way to get it done, but you risk tearing
apart the ribeye. What's the-- what's burning? Fuck me. Did that really just happen? Goddamn it. You coming, Amber. Are you all right? Oh, fuck. [SIZZLING] NARRATOR: With just
a few minutes left in the cooking portion
of Chef Ramsay's "Spells Kitchen" Challenge-- What's that-- what's burning? Fuck me. Did that really just happen? Goddamn it. NARRATOR: --Amber must now
scramble to salvage her ribeye. I still have fish fat.
Fish fat. Hold on.
- Toss it to me. Toss it to me. Incoming. Nice catch. Goddamn it. Here's the part
where I freak out. This is the earliest I've
ever plated in my entire life. Plating is always
my worst attribute. But today, I am insanely
proud of my dish. 90 seconds to go. Oh, this is so salty. It's totally over-seasoned,
but unfortunately, there's no time to correct it now. If anything, add acid. We're going to start
plating, everybody? Make sure all your components
are on the plate, please. GORDON RAMSAY: 5, 4, 3-- Oh, goddamn it. GORDON RAMSAY: --2, 1. And serve. Good. Mary Lou and Nikki, you've
both made the halibut. Decide amongst you which one
is the best to put forward. I'm a little worried
about my salty rice, so-- OK.
It's cool. Well done.
Mary Lou. Mary Lou's up.
And keep yours down then. So Red Team, whose
dish are you dropping? We're dropping Nikki's
and going with Mary Lou's. GORDON RAMSAY: Right. First up, the battle
of the ribeye. Let's go. Let's go, Kori. DECLAN HORGAN: Go on, Amber. Oh, Miss Amber. I'm gonna smash you
like the buzzer. Amber, describe your
dish first please. Yes, Chef. So I have a pan-seared
ribeye, roasted cauliflower, and a watercress puree. Why are you pressing a ribeye? I pressed it because it didn't
have a sear in one part of it. GORDON RAMSAY: It looks thin. Ribeye's cooked beautifully.
AMBER LANCASTER: Thanks, Chef. GORDON RAMSAY: Yeah. I thought it was going to be
a little bit sort of over, but it's not. It's super powerful in flavor. Nice, clever utilization
of the three ingredients. Thank you, Chef. Really good dish. [SIGHS] Kori, describe
your dish please. I did a mustard veal demi. And the ribeye,
I just pan-seared it real quick on both
sides with a celery root puree on the bottom. And the asparagus I did a
nice red wine vinaigrette. The steak's
cooked beautifully. KORI SUTTON: Thank you, Chef.
- Really beautifully. Love that asparagus salad. You've highlighted
the three ingredients. God. It's really tough. Two well-executed dishes. The point is gonna go to Amber. [DING] DECLAN HORGAN: Yes! And Kori. JORDAN SAVELL: Yeah! GORDON RAMSAY: Well done.
Good job. KORI SUTTON: Thank you, Chef.
- Really good job indeed. - Thank you, Chef.
- Thank you, Chef. Amazing. Next up, the battle of
the veal chop please. Let's go. NARRATOR: Jordan will
attempt to outshine Declan's veal with
her roasted parsnips and broccolini served over-- A white cheddar polenta. GORDON RAMSAY:
Cooked beautifully. JORDAN SAVELL: Thank you, Chef. Polenta is absolutely spot-on. Veal, delicious. But parsnips, just to
be cubed like that, some big, some small. It just needs a bit
more finesse, especially at this stage of the game. Yes, Chef. [SIGHS] Damn you, parsnips. Declan, describe
your dish please. So Chef, we have
pan-roasted veal with roasted crushed potato. GORDON RAMSAY: So you left
the skin on the potatoes and the skin on the eggplant? Yes, Chef. Veal's delicious. Thank you, Chef. Both dishes need just that
little touch of finesse. But the heroes are the veal. The point goes to-- [SIGHS] both of you. Yeah.
GORDON RAMSAY: Well done. Well done. GORDON RAMSAY: A good job. Two, two. DECLAN HORGAN: So
now it's still a tie. Damn it. Somebody has to pull
this out of the bag. Down to the battle
of the halibut. Let's go.
- Come on, girl. Bring it home.
- Come on. Come on.
- You got it. It comes down to me. The pressure's on my shoulders. This is my time to shine. So the halibut starts
off being pan-seared. I put a little bit of heat
in there with chili flakes. On top there is a
pickled pineapple vinaigrette and a grilled
pineapple to make the salad. I can tell it's cooked
beautifully because the knife goes through like butter. And look at that. Wow. A little bit too
heavy on the chili flake, but what steals
this dish is what you've done with that pineapple. You've defied the
odds, and it does work. I keep bringing this shit
home, and it feels so good. All right, Mary Lou. Describe your dish please. Chef, I have a
pan-seared halibut with a whipped guacamole. And then it has a rice pilaf
with the spinach in it. Look at that. Glistening. Beautifully cooked. Thank you, Chef. But that smear, it looks like
the inside of my granddad's fucking underpants. [SNICKERS] Everything else looks
lovely and [INAUDIBLE],, but this thing here-- ay, ay, ay. I'm sorry about that, Chef. Both of you take the dishes
back for a moment please. Chef just pretty much shat
all over my plating technique, but I feel like all
my flavors are there. So I think that I can still win. GORDON RAMSAY: Both
halibuts nailed. Now, it's down to tiny details. This is really hard. Congratulations is going to-- the Blue Team. Well done. Really well done. [GRUNTS] Fuck. That feels good. GORDON RAMSAY: Congratulations. You made quite a splash with
that incredible victory. So let's dive right
into your reward. Shall we? After a hot day in
hell, you'll all get to cool off in the
amazing pool at the LINQ. Nice. You'll swim. You'll relax. You'll sip the most
sumptuous cocktails. And then be treated
to the most amazing All-American barbecue poolside. Yes. This is a party all day. Fresh air, the
pool, good friends. I'm making sure I'm
doing a cannonball, and I'm going to saturate Amber. And Blue Team, I have
a very special treat waiting for all three
of you in the dorm. Now, ladies, while the Blue
Team is lounging poolside, you're all going to
be hard at work here. You'll be preparing by
hand 600 tuile cookies. Dammit. Little cookies. Big pain in the ass. ALL: Yes, Chef. - Head out to the dorms.
- Yes, Chef. Yes, Chef. Thank you, Chef. I'm the reason
that my team failed. I just can't do anything
right right now. JORDAN SAVELL:
Don't cry, Mary Lou. Oh, shit. Hell yeah. What? Oh my god. Three brand new
sparkling Vitamixes. This feels like Christmas. I'm sorry, guys. NIKKI HANNA: You can just
see that she's feeling really defeated, and it's really sad. And it sucks. (WHISPERING) Little Foot. Where you at? MARY LOU DAVIS: I
was so embarrassed. NIKKI HANNA: You're going to
have a bad day and a good day. I don't want you go home
tonight because you're feeling all kinds of blue. You understand? After the challenge, I
just lost all my confidence. Like it was gone. I'm sorry, guys. And then there
were the Vitamixes. I'm bringing the team down. [UPBEAT MUSIC] OK. We made a 25 time batch. If that doesn't get us through. I don't know what will. Let's roll. Round one. This cookie batter
sets within 30 seconds after it comes out of the oven. It's going to break. They're not pliable. Then you have to throw
the entire pan away. Epic fail on the first tray. All hands on deck. You have to roll them
while they're still hot. Ow.
Bitch! Ow! Ow, bitch! Ow. Ow, bitch! Otherwise, the
sugar crystallizes and then they all break. Yeah. They're already
starting to break. Stupid mother flours. All that work, and we've
got two goddamn cookies. Two out of 500. Oh my god. Everything about
this is so annoying. Fuck this punishment. Yeah. They're already
starting to break. NARRATOR: As the Red Team
slogs through punishment-- Oh my god. Everything about
this is so annoying. NARRATOR: The Blue
Team is greeted by-- [THUNDER] Oh my god. I am not OK with this. What the luck
of the Blue Team. The one thing that we need
for this to work is sunlight. And where is it? Not here. The rec room. Yeah. We're all covered up.
- Ooh. OK.
OK. We're making the best of it. The staff set us up in a room
that is just full of games. There's ping pong. Do you play ping pong at all? Oh yeah. [LAUGHS] Pool. You take the stick
and you hit the ball. Understood there, Cody. They had a little
basketball situation. Oh. I'm just a winner. They had shuffle boards. Yes. Yes. And that's D for the win. Boom. Wow. I'm all about barbecue. There's barbecue
brisket, baby back ribs. I'm a big dude, and
I love barbecue. When did you start cooking?
How old were you? Yeah.
How old were you? About 17. I was messing about at first. And then I started to get
really serious about it. Well, it's cool because
it's like the more hard work you put into it, like there's
like a direct correlation with, like, you
know, the result. For sure. I always cooked
when I was younger, but then like when I left
home I was like, all right, you got to make money
and pay rent right now. What are you going to do? DECLAN HORGAN: Yeah. Like, let's just keep cooking. And I've been
addicted ever since. Cooking has absolutely
changed my life. I mean, not only has it allowed
me to travel around the world, but you know, it's
put me in front of a lot of influential people. All of a sudden, I'm cooking for
Sam Smith or even for P Diddy, you know? And now, I'm in Hell's
Kitchen, and I'm not-- I'm not done yet.
- All right. Cheers to the Blue Team.
- Cheers. Hey! Ladies, y'all have a
real talent for cookies. Oh, man. I really thought we had more.
No, look. Here go some more. It took a minute. But now, we've
got a system down. Jordan is in charge of the oven. Kori and I are pressing,
and we're rolling. And then Nikki's
dunking and sprinkling. We're like our own
little machine. We got it. We got it, girls. No more cookies? No more cookies. Come on, guys. Get the lead out. Go, go, go, go. GORDON RAMSAY: Line up please. Quickly. Hell's Kitchen is closed
to the public tonight. We've closed, so we can support
two remarkable charities that are helping countless people. These nights are
extremely important. So bear that in mind when
you're cooking this evening. Red Team, you'll be
cooking for the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. This amazing charity
provides free music education to thousands of underserved
and at-risk kids. Growing up, I had at-risk
counselor and stuff in high school, because
my mother had gone to prison and things like that. And without music to get me
through some tough times, I probably wouldn't be
sitting here in this chair. So this is something I
can really get behind, and I'm really excited about. Blue Team, you're cooking
for the Chris Long Foundation. They support bright
futures for communities by bringing clean water to
the developing countries. We'll be giving them the most
incredible dining experience. Each of you will be responsible
for your own course. And if ever I wanted a perfect
service from both teams, it's tonight. Understood? ALL: Yes, Chef. GORDON RAMSAY: Let's go. Marino. Si, Chef. Open Hell's Kitchen please. Let's go. Yes. NARRATOR: Tonight
is a special charity night in Hell's Kitchen. Good evening. Welcome. NARRATOR: Honoring contributors
to the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. Thank you so much for coming. Thank you. NARRATOR: And the
Chris Long Foundation. - What's going on, boss?
- How are you? [INAUDIBLE] well?
- This is great. Not at all. Good to see you, too. NARRATOR: Both 12-top tables
will enjoy a five-course meal, featuring pan-seared scallops
led by Nikki in the red kitchen and Declan in the blue
kitchen, spring pea risotto led by Mary Lou and Cody,
pan-seared halibut overseen by Kori and Amber. And because the Blue Team
only has three members, Declan will also manage
the pan-roasted fillet against Jordan. Both teams will prepare sticky
toffee pudding for dessert. First course, give me
a time for 12 scallops. I'm saying eight
minutes for both. - How about 10?
- 10 minutes to window. Let's go.
- OK. Kori, Mary Lou, we're
going to fire scallops. I need 12 orders. Three pieces each please. And 10 minutes to the window. I am doing the scallop dish,
which is the first course. Can you please drop like
five extra pieces in case? I'm dropping everything
I got here, ma'am. OK.
Beautiful. Thank you. This is an opportunity for me
to prove myself to Chef Ramsay and be a leader. I want this to go
off without a hitch. How long, tempura? Coming up right now. You can bring that up
as soon as you have it, J. - Heard.
- All righty. We got four minutes
to the window please. Four minutes to window. I love it. It's all women in the kitchen. Yeah. - Scallops are in the pan, yes?
- Yes, Chef. You're the only one cooking.
Nobody else? Not yet. I'm doing six and six. For this dinner tonight,
you've got to be accountable for your dish. So I'm cooking the 12 portions
of scallops myself to make sure that it's done right. Amber, all 12 plates are done. No, I'm like halfway.
DECLAN HORGAN: OK, cool. I don't know why
you're asking me that. Start putting the purple
cauliflower on the plates quickly. GORDON RAMSAY: I
don't know why Declan is cooking scallops on his own. We need 36 pieces scallops
all cooked at the same time. - Heard.
- Yes, Chef. We can't serve
half a table, Declan. Let's go.
- Heard, Chef. If I had the
scallop course, it would be two people
cooking the scallops and one person plating. Scallops are coming
up right now, Amber. First, six. And then six straight after. AMBER LANCASTER: Declan's
cooking all the scallops, and he wants to
do six at a time. It's like, we don't
have all day, man. Like, we got to fucking go. Last set of
scallops coming now. AMBER LANCASTER: Come
on, D. We got to go. Back's hot. Get some organization
on here, guys, please. Yes?
- Backs. Backs.
- Heard. Heard.
Go for it. For fuck's sake. Let's go.
Let's go. If they're ready, bring them up.
- Go. Right behind you. Right behind you. I'll take whatever
scallops you have. Thank you, Mary Lou. You're welcome. Let's go, Blue Team, please. Missing purple
cauliflower here. Quality control. Declan, you happy? Yes, Chef. Go please, Blue Team. Go. Thank you. Oh, man. That is really good. Go, Blue, baby. Come on, ladies, please. Blue Team have been served. Coming down with
lemon vinaigrettes. We have purple
cauliflower on all. - Of course.
- Check everything, Nikki. Let's go. Yes, Chef. Please leave the plate on
the pass until I check it. Up you go.
Come on. Up, up, up, up, up.
- Yes, Chef. Let's go. Are you happy with that, Nikki? Yes, Chef. Sarah's table. Let's go. Thank you, guys. Moving on to the next. Ladies. Oh my lord. Missing two. Missing two. Fucking hell. Oh my god. I wonder what they're doing.
They're-- We served the table. It's two portions short. You said what now? GORDON RAMSAY: It's
only 10 plates. Who laid the plates out? Come on, ladies. For God's sake. Oh my god. NARRATOR: It's a special
charity event in Hell's Kitchen, honoring contributors to the
Sarah McLachlan School of Music and the Chris Long Foundation. Cheers to you, Sarah. Thank you. NARRATOR: While Declan's
led the Blue Team to deliver their first course-- Oh, man. That is really good. NARRATOR: Nicole
and the Red Team are still dragging two plates. You know, that Emily
Post says that if it is more than five people,
you're allowed to start. Come on, ladies, please. Blue Team have been served.
- All right. Nice and tight to
the middle please. GORDON RAMSAY: Check
everything, Nikki. Let's go.
- OK. Put that up.
Put this up. Put this up now. Go. Thank you, Marino. That entire first course
did not go the way that it was supposed to. Excuse me, madame. Oh, thank you so much. Better late than
never, but I do not feel good about this at all. Mm. Mary Lou, Cody, 10
minutes to the window 12 stunning risottos.
Let's go. Yes, Chef.
10 minutes, heard. Can you do the pancetta
and blanch the peas? The salad is right
here to be mixed. It just needs a
little vinaigrette. Yes, ma'am. We're feeling a little
shitty, but we're like, it's OK, ladies.
We're going to come back. Keep the pan down. Keep the pan down. We just need to communicate
the way we always do, but just with more of
a sense of urgency. We can go on ahead
and blanch the peas. I'm going to mix with you. I'm going to mix with you. Yeah. GORDON RAMSAY:
Slide down, Amber. Give him some room.
- Yes, Chef. - Get the gas on.
- Yes, Chef. Otherwise, you're
all going to be cooking different temperatures
[INAUDIBLE] let's go. This is incredibly important. If there was ever a night not to
fuck up, tonight is that night. All hands on deck
for team risotto. AMBER LANCASTER: Cody, I
want you to taste this, because it's your dish.
- Let me see it. You can either
open your mouth or-- Mm.
Ooh. That's salty. Add more greens just
to balance it out. It's a little salty.
- 90 seconds. Right. Pea puree in. Will you take half
of the salad from Kori and start from Jordan
and work your way down? Hear me?
- Are you talking to me? Yes. Take half the salad from Jordan. Listen to what she's
telling you to do. I'm listening, but they have-- Listen to what she's
telling you to do. I need you to plate the
salad, so I can [INAUDIBLE].. OK. Do this now. Don't ask not a
[INAUDIBLE] question. Do it. - Mary Lou, we happy?
- Yes, Chef. I'm happy. 4, 6, 8, 10, 12. Thank you. GORDON RAMSAY:
We're serving, guys. Yes?
- Yes, Chef. We got a plate right now.
- I can't hold it back anymore. Yes?
- Yes, Chef. Yes, Chef. Heard. Five seconds. CODY CANDELARIO: A
little bit less, Declan. Declan, as soon as
you're done, you're going to finish with a salad.
OK? - Heard.
- Thank you. Amber, lemon oil.
- Yes, lemon oil. Heard. Do I need more
greens over here? Do you have greens in your bowl?
Greens, please. Greens.
- Count the plates. Let's go.
- Are we good? Yeah, yeah. Mary Lou, good job.
Let's go. - Thank you, Chef.
- Go please. 12 risotto, go. I'm not holding back. Let's go. Next is fish. Correct? Yes, ma'am. That's pretty. I can't wait any longer, Cody.
Let's go. Thank you.
Go please. Blue Team, go. Cody, wipe your brow please. Smarten yourself up. Let's go. Amber, Kori--
BOTH: Yes, Chef. - How long for the halibut?
- 10. - 10.
- Heard. Let's go.
KORI SUTTON: Yes, Chef. Fire.
- Please let's go. 10 minutes, girls. 10 minutes. Nicole and Jordan
are doing succotash. Heard? BOTH: Yes. This is the biggest
night we have. I am focused on my dish. I'm focused on
executing what I need to do, so bring it on, Chef. This is where you
would like them? Right on the pan?
- Yep. - Bring in three.
- Yes, ma'am. We'll put all
of them on there. So if one's undercooked,
I have an extra. Heard?
- Heard. Thank you. Chef Ramsay wants
perfection, and I need to give him perfection. Girls, succotash
over here please. It's right there. Heard. All right. We're almost there. AMBER LANCASTER:
Just keep going. They're fat. Don't underestimate that.
- Heard. AMBER LANCASTER: I did have
a bad night on fish station once before. I want to make sure that I don't
make the same mistake again. I'm going to start
this succotash. - These are getting cooked?
- Yes. They're going to get
sauteed in the succotash if you can just wait please. Yeah. Of course. Amber, it kind of seems
like you want to work alone, and the thing that we
need to do right now is come together as a team, and
I don't know what it's going to take for you to calm down. But you need to. Amber, these are good. Watch the color of
this underneath please. Yes?
Have you checked them? - Yes, Chef.
- You have? Yes?
- Yes, Chef. Let's go. Yes, Chef. Salads? Salads are coming. 12 plates up.
Let's go. Yes, Chef. Yes, Chef. - Happy with that, Kori?
- Yes, Chef. Let's go.
Go please. Gently.
Let's go. I successfully
sent out my dish. Oh, that looks pretty. All the colors. It's very, very-- We executed it perfectly. Gently on the garnish, guys.
Yes? Come on. Salad, Cody, right
here in the middle? Try to keep it on top of the
fish, so it looks really nice. Let's go.
You happy with that, Amber? - Yes, Chef.
- Let's go. Go please, Blue Team. Let's go. Cody was giving me a
hard time about the fish, but everything about
my course is on point. Halibut's a classy fish. I'm liking this
halibut, Chris. Your mustache likes it, too. My mustache is
loving the halibut. NARRATOR: While both
charity tables are enjoying their third course-- I hate to even eat this. It looks so pretty. NARRATOR: --Declan is
running his second course, filet mignon, against
Jordan in the red kitchen. 12 filets. Yes, ma'am. 12 minutes to
the window, ladies. This has got to be the most
challenging plate of them all, because it's hard to
cook 15 steaks at one time and make sure that they're
all the same temperature. Make sure they're all
perfectly mid rare. Nikki and Mary Lou
will be on steaks, and they're going to bring
them to me at the pass. And I'm going to plate. GORDON RAMSAY: Check
the plates please. I got potatoes going down. Whenever those steaks are
good, bring them to me. Yes, Chef. DECLAN HORGAN: Amber.
- Yes, Declan. When you're done that,
I want you to double check these filets on me.
OK? - Yes.
- They are done. Just check them and
then take it out. Two minutes.
Let's go. I'm doing the pho right now. Amber, check
those filets for me. These are-- this is what
you want me to serve, D? They're medium rare, right? Yes, D. You're good. Start taking the steaks out. This is Declan's
course, but it seems like I'm doing everything. D, you got to get to the pass.
- Yeah. Going now. I'm going to drop the filets. Yeah. AMBER LANCASTER: You
want to be executive chef and run a restaurant,
why the fuck can't you check your own meats? I'm sorry, but come on. GORDON RAMSAY: Declan. DECLAN HORGAN: Chef? Come here. You tell me what's
wrong with that. You tell me.
- It's too dark. - I only want the best.
- Heard, Chef. Only the best for the charity.
End of fucking story. - Yes, Chef.
- Cut the bullshit. Yes, Chef. Way too seared. This one's way too seared. The next one, the small one. Too much of a sear? Yeah. All right. One minute for
that last filet. Great. Finally, you're going to
take ownership of your dish. Back's hot. Pardon me.
- Very nice. Let's go. So first impressions. How are we doing here
with the main courses? I'm really loving this. NARRATOR: The Blue
Team's delivered entrees to happy diners, but
over in the red kitchen, Jordan is still plating. - Jordan?
- Yes, Chef. You're not checking
any temperatures. You're not doing anything. You're just silent. - This steak is rare.
- All right. Then, hold on. Mary Lou, can you throw
this back in the pan? Is that one not done,
or is that one done? GORDON RAMSAY:
Ladies, come here. Come here. Yes, Chef. Yeah. Look. Just touch that. It's cold, Chef. So don't serve it to me. - Yes, Chef.
- Look. It's a foundation. It's a charity. This is your course, young lady. NARRATOR: It's charity
night in Hell's Kitchen. I'm really loving this. NARRATOR: And while
the Chris Long Foundation's 12-top is
enjoying their steaks from the Blue Team-- Ladies, come here. NARRATOR: Sarah McLaughlin's
table is still waiting for Jordan and the Red Team. Just touch that. It's cold, Chef. So don't serve it to me. - Yes, Chef.
- Look. It's a foundation. It's a charity. This is your course, young lady. I said check, and
all you're doing is plating, plating, plating. We need to check.
- Yes, Chef. We cooked-- GORDON RAMSAY: It's
not even-- look. It's marbled inside. There's no heat in there. Get them back in the pan.
- Yes, Chef. Jordan, look at me.
You need to own this. Yes, Chef. We cooked extra for
this reason exactly. You still need to own it. Whether you cooked extra or not,
that's not going on the plate. It's not going on the plate. I bust my ass for
everybody in that kitchen, and the one fucking
thing they can't do is cook a fucking steak. Ladies, that's four out
of the 12 that are rare. Let's get those
fucking steaks done. I am.
I'm on it right now. Jordan is so pissed. She has every right to be. The girls kind of
messed up on her steaks. Jordan, I have the three
thickest steaks right here. I'll give them to you last. Heard. How long please, Jordan? I'm coming right now, Chef. Hey, are those finished?
- Yep. Yep.
Yep. - Are you sure they're finished?
- They're coming. Touch it. Test it yourself,
and let me know. Pay attention. It's your course. Stop blaming everybody else for
what you are responsible for. GORDON RAMSAY: Serve please. Let's go. So how is everything here? Molto bene. MARINO: Molto bene. Perfetto. - You OK?
- No. I'm pissed off.
- How come? It's hard to get
screamed at for something I didn't fucking do. Might as well be working
with [INAUDIBLE].. It was your
responsibility to make sure that we did it correctly. You didn't do that, so it is
your fault. It's your course. It's your fault.
That is the point. You're going to be
right behind Kori. She's going to do the mousse. You're going to follow
her with the cake. Amber, how long? You almost done? I'll be done when
you're done, buddy. NARRATOR: Despite an
imperfect service, both teams deliver
desserts to satisfy diners. And I'm just going to dig in. It's just incredible. Absolute pleasure. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you
so much for the opportunity. [APPLAUSE] Cheers. Right. Listen carefully. Tonight, unfortunately, there
were mistakes in both kitchens that I prevented from
leaving the kitchen. I want both teams
go back to the dorm and come to consensus
on the one chef on your team who does
not have the leadership qualities necessary to
become my head chef. Is that clear? ALL: Yes, Chef. Get out of here. Today was an all around fail. All right, ladies. Ugh. Where do you want to start? With you, the
issue that I have is, yes, you put up 10
plates instead of 12. I do take responsibility
for what happened, but within the kitchen,
there was a lot going on. And we all had issues
with delegation. Like that's the point-- is
that everybody was delegated a thing, and it would
have gone perfectly fine if we didn't
have breakdowns in the communication. KORI SUTTON: Jordan, our
plates are our mistakes. And you needed to
touch the steaks before they went out to
make sure that everything was executed properly. I said bring them to me. I didn't say put
them on the plate. I said bring them to me. I turn around, and they're
already on the fucking plate, and I'm getting
screamed at it for it. I was going to check them
before they hit the plate, and I turn around and
they're on the goddamn plate. Apparently, that is more
egregious than sending out 10 plates. Like, you can't count, Nikki,
but yet your leadership skills are awesome? My vote's for you, Amber. When we were putting
the filets on, I said check them
top and bottom. And when you put one
on, the bottom of it was seared too hard.
- OK. That's fine.
You want to vote for me. That's fine. Cody? Amber, my vote's for you. It kind of just comes down
to like a trust thing for me. You can't trust me? You don't trust me,
or you don't trust us. I think Cody is
threatened by me. Any chance he gets to throw my
name in the hat, he's going to. I think it's a little outrageous
for me to go up tonight. I do. None of this is,
like, personal, and I don't feel like
I'm attacking you, like, from an angle
that's unfair. There's no personal vendetta. There's no alliance. If you can't trust us, then
that is a big enough reason for me to put Amber up tonight. This sucks. Why? It doesn't suck for you. It sucks for me again. It absolutely sucks for me. What are you talking about? [LAUGHS] I don't want to go home. I'm not ready to
leave Hell's Kitchen. Did you guys already
have your conversation? We're working on it. Working on it, yeah. But at this point,
it's my third time, I feel like if I go up
again my ass is going home. [SIGHS] This is a big
giant clusterfuck. Fuck. It is such a tough decision
on who to nominate tonight. Both Nikki and Jordan
made huge errors. What's more egregious the
fact that it had to come back, or the fact that it didn't
go at the same time? Which sin is greater
than the other? Hm. [INTENSE MUSIC] GORDON RAMSAY:
Tonight's exercise was to see how you could
step up and absolutely lead your course with conviction. Declan, the Blue
Team's nominee and why. Chef, tonight we're
nominating Amber. What's wrong, Amber? I don't agree, Chef. Question. If you aren't the nominee,
in your mind who is it then? My vote tonight was for Cody. I would be weary about
having him lead my kitchen. There's a difference between
arrogance and confidence. GORDON RAMSAY: Interesting. Mary Lou, Red Team's
nominee and why. Chef, we nominate-- Jordan. Jordan. Why? There was a lack
of communication. When the steaks came back
raw, there was no delegation. Is that true, Jordan? I asked them to bring me the
steaks, not plate the steaks, so that I could check them
before they hit the plate. That didn't happen. They jumped ahead of me. [SIGHS] Amber, Jordan,
step forward please. Amber, why should you
stay in Hell's Kitchen? Chef, I deserve to be here,
because I've been working hard, and I am open to criticism. Are you a team player? I do know that I am a strong
leader and a very strong chef. You have two strong
cooks in the Blue Team, standing behind you. AMBER LANCASTER: Yes, Chef. Tonight, truthfully, did you
run them, or did they run you? I definitely
ran tonight, Chef. Jordan, why should you
stay in Hell's Kitchen? I was unaware that the
steaks were dragging. I asked them several times if
they were going to be ready. And what did they say? They said they were
going to be fine. If they needed two
more extra minutes, then they should have told me. Chef, you've seen my fight. I have that in me. My decision is-- Amber back in line. Jordan, you're a soldier. Your energy is-- is
endless, but I'm not looking for a soldier, young lady. I'm looking for a general. Yes, Chef. GORDON RAMSAY: You
have come a long way in a short period of time. I hope, with this
momentum, you don't stop. Not at all, Chef. I won't. Please give me your jacket. Thank you so much. Thank you for
all your hard work. Head up.
- Yes, Chef. - Good night.
- Thank you. Leaving here like this sucks. I just wasn't ready to go. I gave it everything I have, and
I got to make peace with that. Like Chef said, I'm a soldier. Maybe one day,
I'll be a general. If I were you,
I'd be stepping up and looking at ways
that I could separate myself from the competition. Get the message? ALL: Yes, Chef. Good night. Good night, Chef. Thank you, Chef. I'm pretty much just over it. I know that I'm
stronger than them, so I will continue to be the
easy target, because they are threatened by me. I'm here to the end. And I don't want these people
to be in my way anymore. It's every woman for
herself at this point. Oh, what a day. Amber is entitled
to her opinion. I just feel like she's not
taking credit for her mistakes. Amber, you know, say
whatever you want. I just think you're
dead ass wrong. Blue Team morale--
(SINGING) wah, wah, wah, wah. But six chefs left,
I am one day closer to having that black jacket. And you know a bitch
look good in black. GORDON RAMSAY
(VOICEOVER): Jordan soldiered through many battles
here in Hell's Kitchen. But tonight, she lost the war. NARRATOR: Next time,
on "Hell's Kitchen." Declan, do you
play any instruments? No.
MARY LOU DAVIS: [LAUGHS] The flute?
DECLAN HORGAN: Nope. The lute? I can just picture him. [FLUTE MUSIC] NARRATOR: Will an
ordinary morning-- Guys, get changed and
then meet us out front. It's "Hell's Kitchen." This could be anything. NARRATOR: --lead to one of the
most frightening challenges-- Into this awful
elevator situation. Oh my god. We're caged animals. NARRATOR: --"Hell's
Kitchen" has ever seen? Fuck my life. Is this the door going to
open, and then all of a sudden, it's like a duel to the death? And I'm like-- [WHIMPERING]
I don't want a fight. Stab, stab, stab. [SCREAMING] NARRATOR: Next time, on a
truly terrifying episode of "Hell's Kitchen."
