Helldivers 2 is absolute chaos

hell divers 2 is a brand new franchise to me I didn't play the first game but all of the ads for this third person shooter really caught my attention I just appreciate you know the the balance of humor and also some really fun looking gameplay so let's go ahead and check it out all right uh we need to earn our Cape to become a hell diver I'm General FR super Earth's oldest and most grizzled war hero oh hell yeah and I'm not easy to impress thank God all right here we go slide jump run run jump Sprint hell yeah dive to prevent death oh God I think highly realistic okay so I wasn't paying attention they meant like in this whole area there we go oh look there's my dead body I like how there's blood on the ground it's like highly encouraging all right Battlefield oh I'm losing so much blood okay okay yeah I'll just patch myself up there we go you're about to encounter democracy sworn enemy recruit oh no there it is the terminate the scorge of Liberty arm yourself and show that bug war table freedom is under attack oh this is so cool so it's it's connected oh and look you can see it ticking up okay so right now the heath and Angel's Venture operations are available let's do Heath operation bug extermination initiating FTL jump 2 the heat system sick this is so fun I love that they let you walk around your ship like that does so much for the uh immersion I suppose okay select your drop pod location okay so I'm not going to drop in the Danger Zone Danger Zone I'm going to drop over here yeah training manual tips Don't Panic All right there's something here so cool I'm looking for The Brood Commander oh hello oh yeah I see a big boy over there okay oh oh God okay uh orbital strike right here orbital strike incoming yeah yeah no I got it I got it oh wait why am I so slow oh my God kill myself but I I I killed myself hey guys grenade out yes that was perfect oh plan your reloads wisely you actually lose ammo that's that's cool I like what games do that I mean these bugs are a huge problem I see why the hell divers exist all right I'm looking for the bug bug holes I know I can extract but they're still bugs you know what I'm saying destroy malfunctioning hell pods for gear whoa okay oh my God okay don't run over that oh no no get up got him okay well I feel like I kind of crushed that mission all right we're extracting uh extra request confirmed shuttle inbound oh then you got to defend got it oh yeah I see you guys I see you guys oh look how many of them there are here let's grenade oh no all right uh orbital Precision strike look how many yeah this music is so good it just fits everything perfectly glorious Victory yes so you get medals for completing missions and it gives you little cosmetic stuff see that's nice I like that I've got three different helmets with different yellow stripes all right in the Orion sector we just did Heath let's go to Angel's Venture okay find and destroy all termin eggs all right here we are oh and the environment's completely unique compared to the last one this is so cool okay there's something glowing over here let's go check it out oh salute I got some super credits hell yeah oh another salute salute for Freedom salute and a metal I'm looking for the eggs I like how you can just pull up a little mini map like this there's all kinds of stuff I could be looking at all right terminates prepare to be terminated oh no orbital strike I'm just going to prepare one I got some big boys coming at me all right 5 Seconds here it is here it is come on oh I should have kited them a little bit more but that's okay it's not a concern okay that felt good that felt really good bug Outpost this is a bug hole right here okay so let's throw a grenade in here fire in the hole oh oh they're flying that's bad we want to avoid that fire in the hole yeah yeah okay that that was fun can I just melee these nice flamethrower yes I didn't think I'd be getting a flamethrower I see you guys you want some yes oh oh this is this is oh okay so it turns out I need to be a little more careful being closer to the enemy is um it's not as good as you think it is it's it's it's pretty dangerous in fact I like this format of game though it's sort of like you pop in you do a little mission in an area and then you move on and how you have your ship and you just pick different planets and then I don't know it's sort of like a a cool idea for a session based video game all right check this out oh no uh it's strategy time I'm going to properly kite these guys oh there's so many look how many come on come on come on baby get in there do it yes burn burn okay okay we need to move say hello to democracy say hello to democracy this game is also surprisingly pretty for a for a non full pric game I'm really digging the visuals yes eradicate the termined eggs oh I see him I see him I see him so check this out I'm going to call an orbital strike right here it's going to destroy a lot of eggs yeah I am running out of ammo last reload yeah that's not ideal okay I've got my pistol it's okay it's a capable weapon warning you are leaving the mission oh no oh no okay okay that's fair oh no I'm getting um I know I know this is bad this is bad stop it no rep I love how replaceable you are it's just like you die and another guy comes in maybe I should just run through and and pop the eggs with my pistol cuz I do need to conserve my good ammo here let's call in my my machine gun grenade throwing grenade all right let me get my machine gun oh get out of here s me my goodness this game is so intense in a good way okay they're not liking that I am destroying their eggs and I mean can we blame him yes I destroyed the eggs so let's head okay there's some some bugs that are chasing me they did not appreciate that and again it's sort of like a well I wouldn't either you know all right I'm going to need a resupply so let's throw this down oh my God I almost killed myself oh and then I can come back to this package and refill that's smart oh God yeah know I see you guys I see you guys I see you guys there's something over here bunch of ammo that's good common sample some dead people I can salute this thing salute metal beautiful there's something here oh yeah oh it's like someone made a little Greenhouse what do we have down here a bunker of sorts uh another flamethrower okay so there's a lot of useful materials around the map it's just a matter of finding them it feels like uhoh I'm going to close up this bug hole this could be a problem for my mission and it's just my duty as a hell diver you know they really the the the bugs have great abilities like slowing you down is such a big uh issue have a taste of democracy yes oh and you've got a like sit down and reload this I like that we're bringing out the big guns though oh that's a big guy hi big guy okay there's a lot of guys I'm going to move nice I'm looking for eggs oh I see the orange glow over here okay Bug Hole how about a nice cup of liver tea yes and then I'm going to throw a grenade over here because there's just so many eggs okay okay they're not they're not pleased oh there's another Bug Hole grenade oh no oh I am just messing these guys days up they are not pleased get oh God there's so many look at them oh no no no no I don't like that and they're the fast guys too that's a problem bug breach detected oh no no all right let's go back and destroy the rest of those eggs yeah this is just like pure pure unadulterated fun I don't remember the last time I had pure unadulterated fun in a game okay so if we can extract there's other things I could do though but my main mission is to extract so let's just finish this and extract oh and we have to defend the extraction forgot about that and then to prepare for this I'm going to call in another machine gun cuz that thing absolutely rips machine gun please thank you Freedom Forever freedom forever baby I also feel like most like player character quips are just annoying to me like you hear him too much not this game every time my guy chimes in and says something it's genuinely hilarious and I love it oh God oh God oh God oh God oh God don't die not today not today these guys are oh these guys are a problem thisel Pelican one all right time to we're saluting democracy see before we leave extra complete yes all right what do we get what do we get oh Victory I am awesome new strategems available I can manage my ship acquire new strategems upgrade my Destroyer I love this okay I can get a sniper oh look at that and an anti-tank gun yes orbital Gatling barrage let's unlock that this this stuff looks so fun all right we got a bunch of medals it's time to spend our hard earned medals on new stuff oh this is this is like weapons oh this is huge okay so let's get a new grenade equip that bad boy and a shotgun absolutely and then I guess uh a new victory pose for good measure all right I really like this planet as opposed to the other one oh I can join someone else's Mission let's do that I'm been curious what Co-op feels like all right here we are this is fun oh look at these guys hello operation vant these guys are just diving around I love it okay so I changed to a shotgun gam play is going to be a little different this time oh all right let's do it I'm going to get a little closer even though it's oh call that in it is really cool how this all sort of like seamlessly integrates like everyone can call in their strategy everyone can like we're all going towards the same go but it's cool I don't know here's another one uh we're activating this artillery I'm going to follow these guys they seem to know what they're doing all right load her in baby dropping package establish communication I got the terminal okay I've got to like find the there we go that's it signal strength initiating artillery system sick this is so fun I feel like I've made made a couple old friends here seems like these guys really want to clear out the map which I appreciate okay so the team whenever we find stuff we all get the reward that's wonderful oh yeah look at that big boy all right I'm going to throw a grenade orbital strike was perfect that was incredible all right here I come democracy has landed yeah democracy's back democracy has died twice and democracy feels a little bad about it but it's okay the shotgun was kind of sick you just have to hit your shots onad a democracy I think it's really hard for a video game to pull off humor like genuinely difficult cuz sometimes it just does not come off well this game pulls off humor oh my god I'm an idiot all right I'm coming guys okay I'm going to destroy that Nest I feel like we should be we should be throwing or destroying nests immediately it's like my number one goal maybe they want more XP I don't know oh he's he's calling an orbital strike or something that's so cool I can see the benefit of getting The High Ground in this game it actually does still seem pretty important you could hurt yourself by diving bug Outpost bad news hell yeah hell yeah baby we nailed it we nailed it Allied Destroyer has left the Squadron what somebody left right when we're getting to the good stuff okay here we go orbital Precision strike inbound requesting orbital strike all right here we go here we go yes okay it did damage but not enough yeah I did it hell yeah Freedom oh no oh no oh no I'm reloading oh it's so cool how they could just jump over the fence like that uhoh bug breach bug breach orbital thinging orbital oh God I don't know if that was worth it but it was cool it's so crazy that this was like a isometric or like top down game like clearly this third person switch was great I'm curious though if they're going to add like a jetpack for a Thruster I think that would be really fun I thought this guy wanted to extract but he's going somewhere else oh there's a pod that's what he's talking about Escape pod oh oh this is so good nice oh bug breach tunnel break oh yeah I see him oh oh my God oh my God oh no oh no all right here we go toss this boy in there a nice cup of Li oh no all right I'm gonna Chu this grenade thr grenade nice hell yeah we both heard ourselves diving it's so fun the like it's it's not a real friendship but the little camaraderie we've we've developed by bla extraction time baby wait he he has a sentry turet the hell oh there's a bug breach up there yeah I see it all right so let's do a a new orbital barrage yes yes yes yes yes Freedom yes oh dear big guy nice oh theyo to democracy I really like the shot reloading how' you like the taste of freedom yes Freedom what's cool about the shotgun is it's actually really long range which is usually not how many video game shotguns work salute brother countown initiated stand for take off extraction complete one beginning ASC all right give it to me glorious Victory that's what we do this for that's why we fight yes yes look at us go all right 22 medals whoa all right I'm I'm I'm putting all of this new stuff on all the Cosmetics now I've graduated to the second tier oh a marksman rifle uh yes absolutely putting that on and an auto pistol beautiful yeah I'm definitely unlocking the anti-tank that seems sick all right guys well I've had a lot of fun with hell divers like way more fun than I even expected I I just got this game on a limb cuz it was new today and saw you know a fair amount of people were playing it and man am I shocked at how much I'm enjoying this it's just a blast it's so unique and again it major kudos for nailing humor it's hard for a video game to be genuinely funny cuz sometimes it comes off poorly they've just nailed the tone of this game it's it's fantastic and it's genuinely fun like really really
