Hairdresser Reacts To People Going Platinum Blonde At Home

you know that tea is gonna get worse right here well maybe that's why my nose is all drippy because i'm drinking tea my for you t you see me on your free page lately no what is that for me emma you have tik tok it's called a for you page it's called a for what page i don't know what a 4u page is you work with an influencer for a living it's embarrassing okay fine i'll only do it for you i get my other drink and then i pull out like a champagne like a margarita next all right hey beautiful how's it going today today we're watching some people color their hair at home wow what a surprise they will be going platinum blonde all on their own it's gonna be scary it's gonna be risky but above all it's gonna be funny i'm sure so let's watch the videos let's do it [Music] up first we have a video by noelle lounsbury and this is called bleaching my hair at home in quarantine and dear brad mondo i actually didn't even realize my name was on here but all right cool what has she got for me so as you can see by the title i'm bleaching my hair at home today i basically have virgin hair a month ago okay quarantine i dyed my hair black because okay i wanted to be wednesday adams okay don't come so i dyed my hair black didn't like it so i doused my head in hydrogen peroxide now i wouldn't recommend doing this what did she just say i told my sister i was like i want to go blonde and she pulls up a photo of the girl from game of thrones and i was like wait a second platinum noel you're baby girl you dyed it black and then you use hydrogen peroxide to lighten it why why'd you do that is there a reason why you used hydrogen peroxide for that um okay we also want to look like uh i think her name is khaleesi khaleesi something about coliseum you'll find out is that she has very beautiful blonde hair the chances of you getting that at home after you color it black are slim to absolutely not gonna happen so good luck when i doused my head in hydrogen peroxide the roots lightened more and that's because heat from your scalp makes your roots lighten faster so brad said you want it to look like it's saturated with toothpaste that is right you want to lay that on there so thick it looks like toothpaste and that is when you know you did a good job you fully saturated and i love a full saturation nothing makes me happier than a full saturation this sectioning is awful there's not a lot going on right now besides the fact that she's not doing the roots i'm just going to be so patient and do so many thin foils and i started doing them and realized how frustrating is to do that so she was gonna use foils she decided not to i think that's sad i wish she used foils it would come out a lot better if she used foils because you get that heat baby we love some heat when it's not on the scalp it's gonna really help a process that hair she's doing without but she seems to have learned a few things from watching my videos hopefully she learned enough to make her hair look fire i'm just gonna do the top section because at least she's saturating well i'm gonna run out of bleach it's all over her skin though i feel like it's gonna stay close and that's really what i'm more concerned with is my necklace about my skin i give a [ __ ] about your skin these sections are so large why if you watch my videos why are we doing a section so big i'm glad we sectioned that's for sure i'm glad you didn't go on the top of your head and just dump some bleach on like we see so many times people do isn't gonna be a fail i'm feeling kind of decently good about this what's going on right now it's getting better because she's really taking her time with it so i'm happy with that she's getting lazy at this point so she needs to focus on working faster unless she's gonna rinse out these sections by section she should probably work way faster that way the back doesn't become lighter than the front and then she rinses the whole thing out and she has multiple colors going all around her head it's gonna be ugly not cute no no no work faster work harder or rinse out the back before the front that's always an option oh [Music] just because she thinks it's funny um noel you missed a lot of spots a lot of spots i already know when she rinses this off it's gonna be tragic she is gonna have so many missing spots i want better for you the moment the result happens is when trouble happens i wish i had a to see tissue i only do it in the bedroom ew that's disgusting this girl plugging her nose she [Laughter] this colors you oh god this has gone from bad to bad er to baddest this is bad oh it's all over this girl's face and body i tried to section at the beginning it made me so angry it felt so good it doesn't need to be even oh my god get it off of your face this is what my hair oh not even oh it looks bad okay so i think we're bleaching again and we're using foil this time all right i mean yeah that'll help i don't know why her hair didn't lighten at all it was like three or four levels i mean we could have gotten way lighter with that one round of bleach i don't know what the hell happened there she's now using foil which will help incubate and make the lightener work better she's over it though you can tell i'm just glad her roots didn't come out like pure white went in and tried to as many roots as i could but i'm so happy with how the bottom layers turned out how they're so much lighter they were originally super uneven there's not that light though at the root i think that's why it's evening out really well because your roots are hot so it's processing them well top is still uneven i'm well aware of bleach is coming in the mail tomorrow and i got 28 ounces which will definitely be enough to the rest of my head the color is definitely not even this is gonna be so hard to fix girl i'm reducing 20 volume she needs 30 if there's not using foils i'm so over doing this do better with those foils man you cannot put bleach in the hair it is not a product that actually goes onto your hair and then all of a sudden it just like spreads onto the rest of your hair and everything is perfect if you lay it in one spot it's gonna stay in that spot all right unless it's like very liquidy and runny it'll sometimes bleed through but in her case she's using very thick bleach so if she's doing sections that are this thick they are not gonna be fully penetrated there's gonna be still orange spots there's gonna be spawning everywhere there's gonna be dark hairs light hairs it's gonna be messy you take like paper find sections if you're gonna do this or she should be like going like this in her hands with the hair and really going in with the hands and then putting foil on it it's getting blonder it's getting lighter i'm getting a little happier and she's wiping the bleach off of her head thank god oh my god she bleached her eyebrows it came out below too dark yellow to the point where it wasn't light enough for me to tone it but it wasn't dark enough where i felt comfortable doing a whole another bleach session that were pretty dark i didn't make a video of it because i was just like you've got to be kidding me after this bleaching another one now if it's not pale yellow i'm just going to tone it because my hair is fried yeah oh it always gets heated when girls use well at t18 bc says it's not a toner it's a permanent hair color however on may 23 2017 brad made a video toning his blonde hair with none other than well a t-18 she just called up out no l where to fight okay let me explain myself never said well a t-18 isn't bad okay i said a lot of the time when people use it their hair is not light enough if you have light enough hair which your hair is not a level 10 you can use it there's better things out there for toning but yes i did use it back then and shortly after that i stopped using it nothing wrong with it it's just not for what people use it for that's all i'm trying to say i'm gonna wash it out now it's been 16 minutes i could literally see a piece of her hair on the side that was completely not covered with the toner dude man i like to comb through the hair with a wide tooth comb or like a little bit less than a wide tube comb when i put the toner in just to make sure it's all over everything you guys can do that too all right just don't be aggressive with it so um it looks so bad it's so dry i known it's going to be this damaged i definitely wouldn't have gone through with bleaching it but that's the thing with bleach it's like if you want to do it you have to when your hair is at its healthiest because if you do when your hair is very damaged your lips going to lose all of your hair so i'm considering shaving it i might just like wait it out for the summer and then get it professionally cut and colored to a color that's close to my natural one at the end of the summer but i don't know i'm like seriously considering shaving it the poor thing so she actually posted an update video about her hair i'm gonna put the hand down next day hair bleach update let's see for anyone who cares at the end of my bleaching video my hair just looked wrecked was last night i put a bunch of oil in it it still is very dry like i'm it looks toasted man it definitely looks better than at the end of that clip because i watched it and i was like i really should have waited until the next day to like finish filming the video like you can see it is dry but it definitely looks better than at the end of that video girl you need to tone it again a little bit darker next time or just go brown i think i like the darker hair better on you though i mean why not have fun while you're at it you're already blonde why not do like some purple some blue some red it is not going to damage your hair if you use something permanent color because there is no developer involved with that process it is conditioning and your hair will be just fine it'll actually make it look smoother and healthier and shinier so play around some color while you're at it while you're already blonde and have some fun also um emma can we send her some products maybe maybe send her some prismatic glow the mask maybe send her some viper oil maybe send her some heat protectant because okay what about electric green electric oh yeah electric range we're gonna reach out to you in a while and hopefully get you some products to fix that damage let's move on to the next video all right next video is by lauren glass and it's called bleaching my hair from brownish to platinum blonde at home let's see what happens okay so today we're going to be dyeing my hair i'm going to go like from like whatever this is to like platinum blonde and i've never done this before but this will be fun and it's like the proper stuff it's not even like the box dies like it's like um i've got a fire on the developer she's using 40 volume [Laughter] it wasn't funny am i like she's using the face that you just gave like i'm using foils or what i don't know what the heck again but yeah i've like been watching videos just to see how you do it and they say about you know like how you're meant to like leave your roots um to the end because they like develop fastest or something does something to do with the heat of your head it helps it like go lighter quicker so you should leave them to the end i feel like i am responsible for educating the world that you're you have heat from your scalp and i take pride in that okay she just said you have heat from your scalp so she's not gonna do her roots first however in this case she might have benefited starting with her roots because her roots are way darker than her ends her ends are already blonde i don't know if that was the best decision it's not the worst but you know let's see she's starting off like a level five root with a level in like seven eight ends so it shouldn't be like too bad it looks like there's some pre-existing color on her hair though so we'll see how that lands out probably won't at all lighting out so i don't know i should probably put all of it in i don't know do it all yes go for it i'm so scared no that's the right thing i wouldn't have exactly chose 40 volume but it's not the worst if she's not using foils but i think she said she is using foils but we'll see we are sectioning at i love to see it in such parts nah she said do we have to do in such small sections she does not that's just for hairdressers we're going for it they've only have an hour to do this it has to process for at least 45 minutes or else nothing's gonna happen why don't you just wreck her hair while you're at it get it all tangled up and ruin it before you even bleach it um her hair does seem to be on the finer side which is good for bleaching it helps the hair lighten faster thicker hair tends to be much more difficult to lighten it looks like it's gonna work out well i don't know as long as they really go in there section by section little sections and take their time which they're probably not going to do it should be good so it's currently like the next day um it kind of happened like basically when we ran out of bleach then like in the day bits we've gone i've gone through five so far and we only bought three so um long story short we ended up having to go it doesn't look that bad i'm kind of vibing with it and a couple other friends came around to try and like fix the hair then we ended up running out of toner she went to go tonight it's like a donut with a toenail what is it she said she wanted to tone it she said donut that's so mean you're making fun of her accent hell yeah it's a donut but with a toe girl what happened how did you miss the most important part of all the front of your hairline it actually does look kind of really good though and her hair looks kind of really healthy stuff and fix these parts and then how that turns out but yeah i'm back in the house and you've got the good i'm kind of vibing my face first because those are like the most important thing that's kind of dodgy right i'll do like a majority of the hair back oh i mean we definitely missed a lot of spots oh they look a lot better but now her roots look pure white like beautiful beautiful blonde tone and her ends look yellow she's my hair too much the past two days so like i think i'm gonna give my hair a bit of a break at this point the best thing for her to do would be to do a bleach bath on her ends mix the shampoo with the lightener with some like dirty volume scrub it around on those ends get them really saturated and leave it on for like 15-20 minutes until they get a little bit lighter and they get a little more clear then go with a bomb toner um but she could really pull something off good i'm feeling good oh so she is bleaching again on wet hair totally fine also because she just wants to lighten it just a little tad bit we're saturating all of it again apparently which i actually like that plant and the reveal i can't really see there's an effect over her head it looks good i think oh i'm kind of really happy with it like what like 15 and you get it down there just for 200 like obviously it's not the best but like i don't know i kind of like it i keep on like shocking myself when i see myself in the mirror and then oh don't even get me started it was like you know the hairline was like all the makeup did not think about that i liked it i used to proper like fancy jerk on my foot anyway she looks so good she did an incredible job whoa her hair somehow looks healthier with this beautiful color her eyes look bluer her skin looks clearer her life has been changed she did a really really really really good job on this and i have no idea how her curly hair is just magnificent and you know what i say wow and it's like brad pitt looking like all his girlfriends lauren girl you killed that wow that was so nice great note to end this video on i'm so happy that that came out so good for you and you look stunning you did it you successfully bleached your damn hair at home i don't know how it happened well but it happened really really really well and blonde is your color one really iffy video one really great one i'm still shocked that last video but great effort from both girls sort of at least we didn't get two complete
