Greg Messes Things Up For Lisa

[Music] here we go story that we're developing so um greg i'm watching speedy and and i don't know if you've been given a reprieve but um we were trying to get your wife lisa burgess on the phone because there's been something happening yeah yeah i was trying to help and she says that she's looking after your grandson right now and can't call yeah he just woke up and i think he's eating breakfast she did finish it with he's got one job uh-oh we asked you to do one thing what's he having for breakfast that's so good she uh she you know she gets up this morning and she drives you know gets up early and goes and keeps the baby and today is her day so she was going and she likes to bring stuff you know how they are she made soup you know for taylor and kelso when they get home and you got all these bags that little garbage bags with stuff like i don't know fritos and stuff like that in it for the suit and then you got bring in everything you need so hey greg go ahead and put these in the car this was last night that was my job to go ahead and put these in the car so i won't have to load them in the morning then i'll just get the pot and be ready to go well i also had a bag of half a fettuccine alfredo that was also in a in a sandwich bag that i was going to throw in the trash can okay so at some points that's three bags two give me the three bags again one's got the soup in it one no it's not to say we wouldn't put in the car yet it's just got like i don't know fixings or whatever fiction's for the school knickknacks one's got pop pop-tarts and these apple bites that ellis just loves okay so i'm going because i'm thinking of my grandson i want to have the things he likes she just you know and then on bag number three we have we have half eat fettuccine alfredo so it's trash so she goes and drives all the way there today gets out to get everything out and the knick-knack paddy whack bag with the you know crackers whatever it's in there and there's another bag in there there's supposed to be pop-tarts and uh little apple bites and all that but no it's a half eight box of uh fettuccine alfredo oh no so you put the garbage i threw the brand new stuff that had never been opened in the trash hey guess what today's trash day i took it to the end of the road so it's gone dig it out and now she realizes there's just it's been in there all night too that fettuccine i reckon it smells good uh car smells good so i got that was my text that um what she said what was your text it said let me get past the ones where she's really mad [Laughter] this is this is how i first was in on it apparently when you put stuff in my car last night you put that fettuccine in my car and threw away the bag with a box of pop-tarts i was bringing great great great listen hey thanks i said i'm sorry i must be losing my mind then she came back that was a waste of a whole box of pop-tarts bars and nutrigreen bites so i'm really getting it let me ask you plus she said it made my car stink the fettuccine yeah yeah so did you tell her baby ellis might like fettuccine well i thought he he was a fan of it and we could heat it up because if it wasn't old maybe maybe not the night before but full of disease but now but now i'm looking at myself like how did that happen well greg if the bags are similar this is not that but it's not in the level that i knew you couldn't find it no no no it's obvious something that has a box of pop tarts and stuff in it that i threw in the trash can were they clear bags or other no they weren't clear so it was the last it was the grocery store bags did you use forever it was easy to confuse and it had the other was like a little styrofoam round plate where you order carryout and it was in one so how was your fettuccine why didn't you finish it it was really good absolution she didn't finish it okay refrigerator i i i think i might know what you're not getting questions tell me about this do you think i would photoshoot thrown away any feta jesus i like to know why i wasn't finished yeah anyway at least what the heck was wrong with you yeah it's better you got through i just think she is yeah and be honest you have kind of a bad attitude about putting it in in the car well i was that bad at it i was just i was i was busy trying to get some trash out why weren't you yeah what was it that had you distracted it had to be something yeah because you had a half-life trying to wrap everything it obviously wasn't a priority for the evening i was trying to let me get everything set up for tomorrow get everything done and i just okay so you did have a bad attitude about it okay i made you have a look i should have been more attentive greg greg all right great i'll give you great greg ten is a fabulous attitude okay all right and one is a crap [Laughter] i don't think it was a four but it wasn't seven now let's rate lisa's reaction to it one to ten oh that'd be ten rick if if one's kind of aggravating ten's pissed off it was a ten all right let me go i want to caution you right here because i know you really well and i'm like for me to get to this point let's say let's say we're going to atlanta from birmingham for me to get to the point of saying what i'm about to say don't say i'm i'm at douglasville now so you can get there at oxford yeah okay maybe pell city so so i'm just saying i know there's a moment if they if they double down on this kind of stuff that we and i'm gonna tell you not to oh okay is the famous speech that if pop tarts and apple bites are the worst problem we've got don't i'm not do not go down there i know you'll go to that i know i've used that one too it's a great point it's not going to win you any sense rick don't plant that in my head it feels good but the response is not worth it you're right i will say that's true it feels good but i mean it's kind of like what you would argue with some of these protesters right i have already resigned to the fact that i don't i know the bags were similar but the feel of the bags weren't even close i don't know what i was what i think you should do how about this i was absolutely surprised because i thought i'd done really good all right here's what you do this year or you could mumble hey if you load it yourself you won't have no no no no that was not even i i take that if this is our biggest problem over there [Laughter] i'm just running a list of things i've used that didn't go well don't listen any of those here's here's the one you go look i'm mad at myself you go great all right here's what you go with how are you are you gonna punish yourself yeah i am i've already have greg do this no more try this one some stuff on the way how about that try this one try the try the sympathy card it's hard to get because wives are not overly sympathetic no they're not try the card of i'm concerned about myself something i'm just i'm i'm awful i stupid i can't believe i did that i'm really concerned about i'm so sorry i'll let you down and mess this whole thing up it's totally on me i think i've got it i think i've got it i don't know i got it i mean i don't have anything i don't want to say it on the air because i wanted him to have it and be able to use it okay and i've got i've got one that'll do it you got it but i would like to see maybe knowing it was unintentional that hey dummy but wow i mean i hope ain't nothing wrong with you [Laughter] let's see i'm gonna tell you right now i love your little heart right there rick i'll tell you in the break you tell me if you think it's a good she knew you had a bad attitude about putting the bags in there so now she was mad because of your bad attitude mess and everything he had it was a seven rick five and a half
