"drop this tray and I'll hang you by your balls from the Petronas towers"
It's kind of wild that he never used a rice cooker before.
Fuck me that yellow curry looked good.
Well I'm really hungry now and whatever I'm having for dinner is not going to be nearly as good.
Hahaha, whats that face the chef makes at 1:43?
"Did he just put my food in his nose and toss it back into my pan?"
shokugeki no ramsay needs to be an actual show
This is an old video right? I mean it was just uploaded, but he looks way younger here than he does in the Hot Ones episode he was in a few months ago
Finally a literal mealtime video.
I find myself criticising videos like this, or at least, I find that they're not to my personal liking. This video is made to be a drama, and some dramas can be enjoyable. We see Gordon, having flown in to KL, building some anxious anticipation while racing around, then some drama in the kitchen, and then it ends with some judging. For me, it's an anxious viewing experience, and the food, the part I'm interested in, barely has a auxiliary role. I'd rather a video that focused on the food, on Gordon's choices and thoughts as an outsider to Malay cuisine, and a comparison of all the different dishes made by the... five, was it? chefs? Cooking and food, for me, I think, is about joy and appreciation and not judgement or rude quips.
