Glock 27 Gen 4 : The G27 one of the best ccw pistols out there

today we're taking a look at the Glock 27 now the Glock 27 is a 40 caliber subcompact handgun that is really an outstanding concealed carry weapon now it's the first time I've had a chance to take a look at a Glock 27 and the first time this gun was recommended to me was I was on a security team at a place I had worked and we had a federal policeman come in and kind of give us recommendations on what guns we should carry his recommendation was the 27 more so he said it was the backup gun that he carried as well Glock actually advertises this weapon as being a backup gun for law enforcement personnel now the one I took a look at was the Gen 4 now compared to the gen 3 they've greatly improved the grips the checkering on the handle as well as they've enlarged an ejection lever now talk about concealed ability this thing is only six point four nine inches long one in 1/8 inch thick 4.17 inches high which makes it a very concealable gun now not just that but you're dealing with Glock quality you have very concealable and you have a nine plus one capacity in a 40 caliber now usually when you go from a 9 to 40 you lose a lot of capacity but the nine-millimeter version of this gun is a 10 plus one so really you're only losing one round but you're moving up to a 40 caliber now a couple things that I really liked about this gun I've always appreciated the Glock trigger they have this mark to just a little over 5 pounds of pull and really what you have is you have just about a half inch take-up on this trigger love the trigger safety on the Glocks of course there is no manual safety on this gun which makes it very easy to use but however it is a very safe gun because of the way this triggers design now the Glock 17 was invented in 1982 and it was originally the ostian military's sidearm and it was shortly after that that it was introduced to the United States and of course Glock has been wildly popular now the Glock 27 was invented in 1996 and it became quickly a very popular concealed carry weapon and of course the Glock 17 is the first polymer pistol to ever really hit the US market so you know they took essentially a heavy steel frame pistol which is everything before then and lightened it up quite a bit and even though these aren't necessarily very attractive pistols they are very very popular and very accurate handguns and speaking of accuracy I was very pleased with what I was getting from this barrel that's just over three inches very good accuracy if you take a look at these groups here this is kind of my average throughout the entire day that I was shooting no overall I found this pistol to be ergonomically wonderful and concealable really a good choice if you're looking for a CCW pistol especially if you're looking for a 40 caliber because this is about as small as you get having nine rounds in a 40 caliber concealed carry pistol now I'm glad it was a Gen 4 because these more ergonomic grips it's because it's a 40 Cal and such a lightweight handgun and such a small handgun you really got a hold tight to this thing but as long as you're shooting it tight you're going to do great with this handgun really easy to use really accurate very concealable if you liked this video click like and subscribe you can also now find us on Facebook so you can find us on Facebook under God family and guns this YouTube channel is a ministry to us and we pray for YouTube viewers so if you have any prayer requests please don't ever hesitate to send that stuff in we really will spend time lifting up to the Lord we believe in miracles we believe that it's God that does that you have any questions or comments always send that stuff in thank you for watching this episode of God family and guns and as always love God love your family and love God
