hey guys are you ready to do a fun science experiment and crack open this ice balloon remember always ask a grown-up for help mommy's going to cut it for me my scissors here grown up only i'm going to see if i can cut it and then we just have to peel it whoa you guys see what's inside there's so much ice and it's so cool it's so cold yeah uh oh can we help free this bug don't worry lego vlog i'm gonna free you and remember to always have your goggles i have mine right now oh the ice is right here okay three two one is it working now it's just the other half okay so my mom's gonna try now okay so i'm gonna try with the hammer grown-ups only whoa okay guys next we're gonna try to add some warm water see if it works is it working he's almost free guys almost free oh we can watch him a little bit okay we need that leg right here oh i didn't even get him okay guys i think it's super close one last smash and we're good we got it it got out yay yay we rescued the bug but some of its legs may be a little bit broken and it must be super cold hey guys here's how you make your very own at home and other cool science experiments and of course always do it with a grown-up right first thing you're gonna need to make your own giant ice balloon is a balloon you can use small one or you use big ones this is a giant sized balloon okay and then you can put any animals in it but this one i'm going to use a little b [Music] all right and you go b don't worry we'll rescue you later okay let's go in go tight okay there we go and then just fill it with water that's it fill it with water super easy okay guys so i fill up water and you have to be very careful because it gets heavy look it's like super heavy and bouncing i don't have the strong muscles super super heavy but we're trying to make it a lot bigger okay not a lot but like a little bigger okay [Music] once you think it's big enough turn off the water tie and then tie your balloon [Music] oh look how wiggly it is it's so fun and the bee is somewhere in there can you see it and then using some strong muscle parents only whoa this is slippery okay should i ask daddy to do this okay using strong muscle i really got this guys yeah yeah you want to try let's try ryan's gonna try he thinks he got stronger muscle than mommies that's so jiggly well i'm okay mommy got this been working out for the past two days okay ready lift lift [Music] and that's all you do you just pick it up and ryan can you please open the fridge for mommy because it's super super heavy thank you and then just open the freezer open the freezer and then carefully carefully boom boom boom boom put it into the freezer there it is all right good luck with that let it sit overnight hey guys today i'm doing the freezy animal challenge mommy put a shark inside this balloon and this balloon is filled with ice and i'm gonna have to free the shark from the balloon and first here's how mommy did first grab a balloon then get your favorite toy carefully put the toy inside the balloon did i mention carefully once the toy is inside fill the balloon with water oopsie carefully not to splash water everywhere the balloon will get bigger and bigger then remove it and put it on the tray next tie the balloon so the water won't spill out everywhere next put the balloon in the freezer until the water inside becomes ice okay first i'm gonna try to get rid of the balloons and also don't forget to ask a grown-up for help i have mommy here hi it's not breaking it's super strong [Music] i'm gonna take the balloon off and you won't even see a difference wait guys i think i see the shark inside somewhere in the ice first i have my goggles just in case okay let's get started [Music] we already cracked it yeah i see the shark already i'm gonna try to use warm water it's working it almost got the shark out he's right there but his fin in his tail is stuck i think that i can use salt bam no [Music] i hear the ice crackling guys i think it's working i don't want the shark to crackle i think i have an idea mr shark let's take it outside remember i would only do this with adult supervision okay three two one he just got out oh can i take him out well no not yet his tail is still stuck yes i got the shark down thank you for rescuing mr shark with me hey guys today we're gonna do the dancing popcorn experience [Applause] okay so first you need a jar of water and then you put the popcorn in the water like so wow the kernels sink do you know why the kernel sinks to the bottom because they are more dense than water okay do you guys see that the popcorn's dancing already or not yep popcorn does not dance with just water okay okay so mlk is gonna put in food coloring and i'm not going to so we're gonna attach both of them out that's right emma is putting in blue food coloring and kate is putting in red food coloring great choices okay next thing you're going to do is add your taste [Music] that's right i see it's moving you're moving because you're agitating it yeah next step is adding some baking soda all of it yep all of it ryan's adding yeah ryan's adding two cups of baking soda and in case i need one that's right that's right what's another word for agitate mix that's right to stir to mix mine's gonna be so white i'm just agitating everybody's agitating all right i made a small whirlpool oh that does look like a whirlpool it's like you're swimming pool yeah you're wrong next up is the vinegar i will be using two cups so if you do something like this use two cups if you're doing something like these then use one okay might be a little bit explosion go explosion explosion whoa they're moving around they're just going up and down they're a little bit warm [Music] do you see ryan do you see how the popcorn is dancing yeah and i can make it dance more by spreading it emma's too see it can you guys say you see emma do you see how you're going up and down he's dancing right it looks like our tornado yeah tornadoes okay yours is true look casey it's going up and down i'm gonna use wine adam okay guys here's how it happens so when you mix baking soda which is a base and vinegar which is an acid a chemical reaction takes place carbon dioxide bubbles are produced which are the bubbles that you see lifting the corn to the top once the bubble pops the corn falls back down and this happens over and over again so it looks like the corn is dancing how cool is this now we're gonna add some baking soda and vinegar for fun so first we're gonna add the vinegar whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa i didn't know how it [Music] mighty exploded so much at the first one look almost all of them are at the top okay i'm gonna add into baking soda too okay maybe like that [Music] so you guys all see the bubbles and fizz and carbon dioxide gas forming yeah whoa the ground is bubbling [Music] you guys see all the bubbles [Music] is oh ryan looks cool hey guys today i'm going to show you three really cool water refraction tricks what is refraction you ask well refraction is the bending of light while it passes through a new medium so the light is going through the air and then suddenly it goes into the water all you need is a glass of water and some objects around the house it could be anything but these are the objects i chose first let's try it with a pencil so see it's going here and then it bends it looks a lot bigger too guys did you see how the water makes it look like the pencil is bent that's really cool right well my pencil isn't actually bent it's just refraction bending of light okay let's test out other objects to see if it works too let's test out this toothbrush okay whoa it looks so much bigger and it bended too that's so cool but what about chopstick okay here's a small part it's getting bigger bigger bigger boom well that's super big let's try the other part that's already good whoa it's bending and it's super big okay what about this cone [Music] whoa that's so cool it's bending so why did it look like the object bends under the water because of refraction on the number two so for the next trick you're gonna need a glass of water paper and some markers okay guys so for this one i'm gonna draw it and put it on the other side and something cool will happen i'm gonna draw an arrow with multiple colors so first red and then tail purple and then blue and then orange and so you guys see that this is an arrow well look at what direction it's pointing at it's pointing at that way when you put it behind the water it points the other direction so it's reversed isn't it cool well that's just for fraction it's still pointing the same way now before i show you refraction trick number three here's a bonus one look what happens to my face hi what's up oh yeah peace now i'm all better again see now my face is normal it's just refraction now for trick number three okay so for number three you need obviously a container of water some paper and a ziploc bag first step draw something on here draw whatever you want to disappear okay i'm gonna draw a fish like this and then a little bit more here spam here yeah here bam perfect fish okay i'm gonna draw its scales like this that this okay there you go then i'm gonna draw it in the perfect definitely draw this okay and then i'll put an eye on this side and then i'll put some running away some running away dashes then you're gonna put it in a ziploc bag okay like this okay now i'm done with my fish and i put it in so now i'm to draw a shark chasing the face a super good shark like this bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam bam super super good shark okay um and then since they're in water i'm gonna draw the ocean over here bam next up see what happens when you put this in water this is what happens when you put it in the water so the shark is just chasing the fish and then [Music] boom fish is gone oh the fish is still here now it's gone now it's back now it's gone now it's back now it's coming that one's back now it's gone now it's back now it's on now you might not be able to see the fish when you're on the top but when you go down here you can still see the fish but once you move around a little bit the fish looks like it disappears again here's the one my mommy made so it says i heart you now it says are you that makes so much sense right guys i do just kidding the heart didn't really disappear it's still here i love you hey guys today we're doing the milk and soap experiment and a little bit of food coloring so obviously you'll need some milk some soap and food coloring whole milk works best so you have a plate and then you pour the milk into the plate up to about here then put yourself into the container next be creative and put some food coloring all over i'm trying to write high with blue h i now then i put some of this whoa that's a lot i think that's good take a cotton swab and dip it in the soap you know how your mom and dad ask you to wash your hands with soap to get rid of the grease guess what happens here whoa look it's all clean guys as you see the soap break the fat and the milk so that's why the food coloring spread everywhere okay that was so cool let's try it again but this time with a different design a little bit more there you go okay first put one dot of red in the middle maybe blue around it and then well i'm going to make them all like a circle so green around it [Music] like red and around it oh so that was orange there you go okay now dip it in soap okay let's watch the magic hat whoa that's so cool yeah whoa guys did you see that that was so cool make everything lighter whoa that looks so cool guys guys today we're going to learn how important it is to watch your hands yeah so you know how long you're supposed to wash your hands for yeah how long you're supposed to sing happy birthday to time that's right so it's about 20 seconds at least okay so here's the experiment i want you to do this is water pour the water in there okay do it very very carefully [Music] the whole thing yeah [Music] you did help ryan so this is pepper any pepper you guys have this is the one that i have in the house okay so sprinkle some peppers in there yeah take turns sprinkle more you can do a lot more than that there you go next step is i want you to take your little finger dip it into the pepper water now i want you to pretend these pepper water or germs what happened when you take your hands out oh no there's germs yes yeah you see and if you touch it there's germs right look uh there's germs on you i know you see the germs yeah okay so here's why it's important to wash your hands you ready okay so that's what happened without soap it just sticks on your hand right germs everywhere next i want you to squirt soap into here there you go can you squirt some soap into there i hold for you there you go good all right cake turn there you go all right that's a lot here's what i want you to do take your little finger and then dip it into soap there you go dip in a lot okay so this is why soap is important [Music] first ryan's gonna do it okay go ahead whoa what happened the pepper's going away from the soap i know it looks like the pepper is running away from the soap right so think about it so if these are like germs and bacteria when you put your hands in soap and wash your hands right all the germs and bacteria are no longer on your hands yeah they're running away yeah of course it's my turn whoa that's so cool that's running away whoa that's so cool wow all right kate you want to try now okay guys it's my turn whoa it's running away too yeah isn't that cool yeah it's like oh no that's why it's very important to wash your hands now we're gonna do it with glitter yeah so you guys can take each take a glitter or a shear i want this glitter and put it into water and pretend these are germs there you go you're putting a lot of germs yeah a little bit okay a lot of germs for emma there you go and then we can all share oh cool kate there you go i'm adding some white germs now yeah different types of germs shake shake shake shake shake shake shake the glitter i mean shake their germs [Music] okay now let's try the power of the soap okay okay soap on okay then put it in wait it's going away moving away from your finger yeah it's like wait there was one right here and it was like yeah all right kate your turn [Music] dip it in there we're going to use we're going to use quite a lot of soap there you go good job girl yeah [Music] it's going away yeah whoa did you see how it separated yeah separated good all right that's so cool so now you learn why you should wash your hands it's time to wash your hands [Applause] now it's time to wash my hands okay soap on around [Music] ah [Music] happy birthday to me happy birthday to me happy birthday hear me happy birthday to me happy birthday to me happy birthday to me happy birthday dear me happy birthday to me good job [Music] okay now take turns happy birthday to kate happy birthday two cakes happy birthday to cake happy birthday to kate happy birthday to me good job happy birthday to emma happy birthday to emma happy birthday to emma happy birthday to you emma one more time happy birthday to emma happy birthday to you and mom happy birthday to emma happy birthday to emma and that's how important it is to wash your hands and you should wash your hands too for at least 20 seconds hey guys today we're gonna grow our own rainbow all you need is a paper towel scissors markers and cups with water first using your paper towel you're gonna fold it in half and then we're gonna cut up one don't forget to ask a grown-up for help and i have mommy here hi [Music] so first with any marker you want make a rectangle like this now let's color it in the next color in the rainbow is orange put it like this now let's fill it in next is yellow okay let's fill this in next is green fill it in green next up is blue we're gonna finish it off with my favorite color purple now do the same thing to the other side like this see like so next fill up your two thingies of water and the second one now take your rainbow paper that you drew and put half of both of the sides in the water now we wait let's watch the rainbow four look it's already forming a little bit [Music] well guys did you see we made our own rainbow whoa put it right here this is so cool did you see the marker guy move up the paper towel and touch each other because that's called capillary action did you know regular plants also use capillary action because they bring the water from the roots and make it go all to the other parts of the plants i hope you guys had fun making our own rainbow together hey guys the holidays are coming up and you know what would be perfect a science experiment with holiday ice hands they're made out of ice and my job is to rescue them santa claus right here but first here's how to make it yourself take it away mommy roll the clip the first thing to do is gather all of your favorite holiday things i also have some confetti and some sequins and you can add in some fun glitter next grab a pair of gloves and then just put in your favorite things here i'm gonna put in a christmas tree some other fun things stocking little cute reindeer some fun christmas patterns put it all in here some glitter then add in a few drop of food coloring i'm gonna use green drop it in here then fill the glove up with some water fill up three fourth way once you're done tie it with a rubber band okay here's my first hand okay for my second glove and we've got all this he goes into the glove cute little bill into the glove some fun christmas trees some christmas words got some fun glitter who doesn't like glitter then a few drop of red food coloring then add water once you're three-fourths done tie it with a rubber band [Music] okay there's my red one look i see santa claus so you guys see it once you're done just put it in the freezer there it is i put in the freezer and keep it overnight once it comes out here it's all frozen you guys see it it's rock solid hard the red didn't stay very well should add more red food coloring but it comes up pretty good do you guys see santa right there next open up the rubber band and then cut and peel very careful fingers and thumbs once you're done you'll have something like this isn't that cool look be a snowman okay here's the other one just pew and cut away look they're santa okay and it looks like this but guys look i broke off the thumb oh no still okay it's so fun look there's santa okay let's get started i'm gonna try to melt it with some warm water [Music] it's working a little bit wait i can feel the objects it's working did i get the button out i got the button out there you go and there i think this time i'll be able to freeze something oh wait i freed up i freed socks and a heart heart and socks under here oh and another sock don't worry snowman i'm coming for you i think i have to put all the water in one spot i think the snowman's out oh oh there's a chain i'm gonna get the chain out oh oh oh yeah i think i got him out oh ah got him out yes okay guys i'm gonna try to pick it up oh it's super cold and it's facing a pinky yeah this one's also missing a thumb okay santa i'm gonna try to rescue you now if i put all of the horse right here oh there's another golden chain no where's the golden chain from youtube guys the chain is super long it's all the way up to here what do i do now i have an idea i'm gonna go get a mallet guys okay guys i got two of them but remember to ask your parents for permission because my mom said yes yep okay let's try this one first i think that one will be stronger though whoa whoa it's working it's working wait sent us out a little bit okay maybe i should use this one now [Music] whoa splash of a lot of water what's breaking the ice the ice is shattering okay guys i'm gonna put some more warm water and this time it's even hotter i got the chino chain out i can get santa and santa wait yeah they got the gingerbread man wait yes and this gingerbread man guys one more the belt okay come on you can get it out this time i'm gonna use the hammer again wait did i get it out oh i got other stuff out wait i got the belt i got the bail out yeah [Music] okay guys i think i got everything important for christmas out hi guys today we're gonna put our trolling and then make it float on water so this is very easy all you need are some markers a plate and some warm water first draw what you want on the plate but i'm gonna make a stick figure with multiple arms so like this and make it really thick this and you make arms and then you make the legs so after you make your drawing then you put some warm water on his side he moved look he's dancing oh his arms too uh i feel like the arms or legs is going to break oh it's moving now yeah now he can just walk [Music] there you go this is easy way to make your stick figure float he broke this is so cool you can hold it okay guys for the next one i'm gonna make a dog it should be like this and then maybe i can put like ears i feel like i'm making a cat i'm making a big dog or cat oh i can't do it right unless i do like this i put an r okay then i'll make the legs and then the arms i feel like i'm making like a super strong cat or something okay now i'm going to pull it right here and then i'm going to make this red and i'll make the eyes wrap on the ears okay so i'm coloring the pants he has jeans okay i'm gonna make the skin color purple okay i put it here and i'm gonna put this part green okay like this and [Music] perfect okay guys let's see if it floats okay i think that's good oh we're missing one leg oh no the other leg broke off oh you can run away though ah his arm no no his face oh no my dog broke that's okay let me show you some cool ones that worked roll the cliff [Music] [Music] [Music] i hope you guys enjoyed watching us do drawing flow hey guys today we're gonna do a diy make it yourself balloon ring wait racing with a balloon how when you don't tie it keep holding it you can let it go like this did you see that all you need is a string and you tie it into one end of the wall and you take the other end and put straw inside like this there you go can you pull it right okay a little bit thank you now take it all the way to the other wall and go ahead go ahead go ahead and then you hold it here and tape it okay hold it steady okay and let it go and tape it like this one end to the other [Music] next mine down blow up the balloon all right [Music] and clip it with this [Music] next daddy will tape the straw to the balloon [Music] sure now take the balloons to one of the ends and then we're gonna test it once you unclip the balloon will go whoa [Music] there it is we have two okay let's race three two one go what i thought my moon wasn't going until you won okay guys round two three two one i saw that i want right before you it was so close did i win really okay fine all right so round two y and one all right guys now it's the final round ready yeah three two one go wait no my balloon crashed into your balloon good job daddy you walk victory dance [Music] is it even right what are you doing okay guys thank you for watching my fun balloon race hey guys let me show you a paper towel and water magic trick all you need is water ready for the cool magic trick so it's a cloud here and when i put it in the water loud will become a rainbow here you see one balloon and now you see multiple balloons let me show you how to make your own first you need a shade of paper towel and then you fold it in half i'm going to draw a circle now do this and put the blank part on top now trace the picture that you had on the bottom now flip it like this and draw whatever you want on here pizza super yellow pizza [Music] and then it's on a factory conveyor bam okay and now time to do this [Music] so the trick is you see the side with only the circle and then once you put it in the water then you can see this side first you only see a circle and then you see a super strong pizza getting delivered from the pizza factory okay first you see hot flower now you see a flower next you see a house now you see a house with a tree first you see a black and white car now you see a car driving on the road first you see a boat now you see a colorful boat first you see abc now you see abc blocks now you see a mysterious portal but now you see a watermelon you see a black and white butterfly now you see a blue butterfly with a lot of stuff around it see ryan's world now you see ryan's world with colors hi guys today we're making homemade lava lamps like this okay so i have to wait a little bit and look what's gonna happen look that's cool you like it yeah [Music] here's what you need bottles food coloring alka-seltzer oil and optional if you want it glitter yeah so this one we have glitter inside but you don't need glitter first step always ask a grown up for help what's up brian hi hey what you need help on i need help with baking this lava lamp okay here we go so we got oil i need three four oil in each container all right right on ryan so put the funnel like this so you want to spill the oil all over yeah going in [Music] let's fill this up let's go let's go you see it coming down yeah one down and three to go all right let's keep going it's done now fill the rest with water you do that and i told you winter stuff never mind i'll do it i always ask for adults for help i'll play on the stuff okay [Music] perfect next we're gonna keep doing okay just take a closer look and just tell me when to stop counting on you you cannot overfill either perfect we're not done here if you look here there's two layers there's water on the bottom and there's oil so oil and water doesn't mix right yeah why why uh yeah why doesn't water and oil not don't mix do they hate each other [Music] is that good job ryan because i have different density yeah water is more dense than oil and now we're going to put food coloring first one is green okay maybe ten drop would be enough wow you see how it goes all the way down like going down yeah let's shake it up a little bit just make sure you drop all the foot coloring to the bottom isn't it interesting how it only colors the water and not the oil yeah why is that that i don't know for real next we're gonna do a range all right there you go again ten drops [Music] it's slowly going down oh that one's just staying there is it to go up wait once it goes it looks so cool it's like a little bubble of a food coloring get hit [Music] that's so cool that's cool i think it's gonna stay there but i gotta mix it up so i'm sorry you can't stay there forever let's mix it up i don't think he's oh yeah it's going down [Music] eventually all go down because it's higher than steven oil earlier okay it's like a washing machine okay good looking good ryan looking good all right let's do oh rose pink oh there you go that's plenty yeah that's a cap and mix it up [Music] good job they kind of look almost the same yeah oh yeah pink and orange are the same the last one is purple this one works hopefully pretty good there you go all right good job um you're gonna get that down ryan mix it up please okay [Music] wow cool [Music] nice perfect next step alka-seltzer okay so the piece is a little big so we gotta break it up ah that's easy get it oh good job ryan all right let's do it together three two one oh it's going crazy look at your work oh i like yours ryan [Music] ah i like the orange one too it looks so cool and the pink one see it does look pink it looks like actual llama yeah i like it so when it comes out it looks pink wow i like the orange one because it's actually lava yeah it does look a good lava there it is super easy and simple homemade experiment hi guys today we're doing a science experiment to learn about water so first you pour the water inside the cups like that like that okay now let's put one of the food coloring in each container [Music] i put purple there and i put blue there and i'm gonna put yellow right here and red right here next i'm going to mix them together [Music] good and now we're gonna fold some paper towels so first you fold it and second you fold it and third you fold it next up put the empty cups in between and now we use the paper towels to put it like this and then our other one like this and this this place like this okay let's try this one first and then you do this and then you do this [Music] and this and this and last one like this now we just have to wait and see what happens look the water's already traveling up the paper towels [Music] guys it's the next day look what happened the water went up the paper towels and went down and mixed the colors together [Music] look and now the cups that were empty now has water see what happened ryan the water travels up and then over and then this cup the water travels up and then also over right so how did the water travel up the paper towel here's how it happens the watercolor travels up the paper towel by this thing called capillary action so do you remember how plants where does the plants get the water from yeah underground that's right from the roots so the plants get water from the roots but it has to travel up the plants so against gravity so it takes the water from the ground and travel it up just like how the paper towel takes the water from the bottom and it travels up now you see how the empty cup changes colors yeah okay so here you have blue with yellow when you mix blue and yellow together what did you get i got green that's right and here you have yellow mixed with red what do you get orange orange yeah uh blue and purple's like a galaxy color that's right yeah so what happened you mix it together that's so cool right yeah now let's take all the paper towels and see what it looks like [Music] here's what it looks like when we take out the paper towels like all the colors looks like a tie-dye t-shirt yeah wow you guys see looks really really cool and look what happened look you can make even more color you can get this one and then you want to make it too yeah come on [Music] so you take it and you squeeze oh you see how it makes color yeah oh this one actually don't know there you go guys thank you for watching my science experiment hey guys today we're gonna learn about density that that's right so first we're gonna need to make a density column first up i'm gonna do green okay next let's add syrup what do you think will happen when you add the syrup do you think the syrup's gonna mix with the water i think it's gonna not mix with the water yeah you know why because syrup and water has different density let's see let's see whichever is more dense will go on the bottom let's see what's gonna happen so ryan did the syrup goes on the bottom of the water or does it float on top it went all the way to the bottom so what does that mean which one is more dense um syrup good job it's more dense that's why it's on the bottom okay so ryan's gonna just add a little bit more to make a taller column a little bit more it's done yeah so you guys don't have to do it in a giant container we're doing it in a giant container to show you guys but you can also just do it in a glass or any small container right next we're gonna put in corn oil yeah or any cooking oil will do what do you guys think will corn oil mix with water or go to the bottom of the water well i think it's gonna float it's gonna float so it's left in what happens [Music] so what happened it floats yeah so that means oil is less dense than water right even if you try to mix it whoa it's still separated out yeah so now we're gonna wait 10 minutes for all the layers to separate and then we're going to look around the house to see what things will float on which layer okay we'll be back in 10 minutes 10 minutes later okay guys it's been 10 minutes now and now we're going to see which items sink or float that's right so we just went around the house and gather some items and we're going to test each object to see where does it place in the density column i think this is gonna go all the way down so first ryan has a screw right so ryan thinks it's gonna sink all the way down you can try all the screws three two one whoa so what happened what are they it went all the way down that's why we didn't see it because the bottom layer is too dark so that mean it's very very dense is to screw more dense or less dense than water more more way more dense that's right stick all the way down okay what object do you want to test next let's turn these ping-pong okay what do you think before you put it in maybe like under the core under the oil yeah okay let's see [Music] so what happened why it floated it floats so the ping pong ball is actually less dense than all of them right try to push it down let's see what happens [Music] does it go down no no it just keeps going back up it's enjoy birthday candles birthday candles okay maybe the colors let's see oh wait there's different sizes okay let's see if the colors and size make a difference okay [Music] it went right under the the oil that's right so it went under the oil but it's on top of the water right oh it's folding back up let's get it so this is mean the candle is more dense or less dense than water less than that's right because the water is the green right okay what other objects you want to try you want to keep trying the candles i want to try crayons oh that's a good one try four crayons your face let's see what whoa so what happens it's way more dense than everything it's way more dense than water and one more that's the oil that's right but it floats on top of the syrup do you see oh yeah it's not all the way down so that means it's less dense than the syrup yeah okay what else do you want to try that's fun this one's big what do you think before we put it in where do you think it's going to lay in the column uh right on top of the water so it's less dense than water maybe okay let's see yeah [Music] so it is more dense or less dense than water it is more than that's right and less than the syrup that's right good job okay what else do you want to try i'm trying the cat okay where do you think the cat goes probably um on the water in in the middle of the water on the very top [Music] good so what does that mean for the cap it's less density than everything that's right good job okay so we have some other food here we're going to try that's kind of fun cherry yeah oh it's less than sugar that's right less dense than syrup okay we also have grapes here to see what matters i'm gonna get to the big one okay ryan's gonna see if the big one makes a difference oh it goes all the way down so it's more dense than water but less dense than the syrup oh that's kind of cool yeah they keep like floating yeah i just came back for a few more items so i have this a box a spoon and a fish little cup okay so what do you want to try first wait before you put it in so that's a ball and that's also a ball so the ping-pong ball floats but what do you think about the juggling ball juggling ball doesn't go all the way down okay let's see if mine's right it's more than everything what whoa did you think it was gonna do that no i didn't but it did stink a little bit so maybe the density of this juggling ball is more than the ping-pong ball but it's still less than water right i thought it was gonna definitely float so is the juggling ball more dense or less dense than water that's less than yeah that's actually less dense is it less dense than this well it goes down a little bit so that means it is less dense oh then sense yeah wait wow look at the spoon it just floats on top oh fuzzy yeah just like the cap wait all the capital because you flipped it upside down so let's try super small cup yeah the medicine cup we use what do you think before you put it in oh i think it's going to go to water okay let's see what he floats all the way on top ryan's gonna try to weigh it down with the grapes what it's going down a little bit well i'm gonna try more grapes more grapes the grapes are sinking oh it does make it sink look at that whoa so it weighs it down huh oh yeah that's cool ping pong party so before we go i have a question to ask you what is it why do things sink or float because they have density that's right and if the density is less than water it will it will flow if the density is greater than water it will stink good job and you can tell that different liquids also have different density right yeah so out of those three liquids which one is the least dense the least one is oil that's right it's going down it's going down what is going down everything down okay guys and last we're gonna try pencil let's see if it floats or sinks i think it's gonna float [Music] it's a little is it more than water yeah it's folding on top of water oh and then a pencil eraser here oh oh oh i went inside the cabinet it's sinking wow so what does that tell you a pencil is more or less dense than water oh it's technically less good it's because it's on top of water right yeah hey guys today we're gonna do snow storm in a jar first you're gonna fill a jar with three fourths of baby oil next add a little bit of white paint and then jump next step let's aggregate add a little bit of the of the watered paint to the jar with baby oil what did you guys notice water oil doesn't mix it's separated next get alka-seltzer and break it into small pieces are you guys ready for a snowstorm here it goes whoa it's so cool it's going up and then they're falling down going all the way up and then they're falling back down that's so cool hi [Music] whoa on this side it has white oh oh it's white everywhere look guys you can see the bubbles on the top [Music] that was so cool you can also optionally add glitter see what it looks like this time a bunch of glitter add some alka seltzer [Music] there whoa it's storming down glitter [Music] whoa [Music] did you guys see that there's so much green because most of the glitter is green [Music] now we're gonna try out a whole bunch of different colors let's activate okay okay okay there you go yellow [Music] looks like an ocean probably looks like a banana ocean maybe purple would look like a bunch of grapes on the ground orange is lava [Music] now for the rainbow snowstorm [Music] there [Music] all falling down going back up and falling down and going back up so cool hi guys i can see you through it [Music] okay guys thank you for watching our video thank you for watching our snowstorm in a jar video bye remember or stay happy and drive the fight more stormy wait is that a real snowstorm
