Ghostbusters Extravaganza | Ashens

hello hello mr. gammon hello mr. ashens isn't this the first time you ever actually recorded on the sofa of pain yeah I've never thought I'd get to see this day and now I'm here recorded so many videos over the years but never so far banned until now I had to go through a number of checks though to be fair oh yes passport control is very tight to get to look at whatever remains of this sofa what the people home can't see is where all the the law has rubbed off that bones you see now that I know the magic it doesn't take long does it no don't mention the smell right that's all we're here for today so imagine you've got some ghosts and don't want them who you're gonna call well there are a number of services but ghosts bosses that was a very BC responding groups available but there are no I can catch ghosts than they're frauds yeah and they're trans take your money yeah chase them away with a stick whoa funnily enough wearing a big white sheet going whoa with a stick yes I think the stick is that's the most important part the stick here is very very important so you have brought many many exciting Ghostbusters things to show us today I have for you are something of a fan of the Ghostbusters as many people viewing will already know yeah I know how some people know me for many things luckily the most important thing is Ghostbusters cool you the ones will put me away so I've seen crime stoppers so what I thought I'd bring today are a number of things that I've bought even in charity shops or discount stores or cheap online that have managed to grab because a lot of those posters fans will buy everything yes everything with a logo on anything with a Slimer marshmallow man Peter Venkman looking Smurfs mermie smooth smoke source mommy I miss what Smurfs do when this mommy this we've learned something today so I've collected a few things to bring along please show us item numero uno I tell you what let's start with my favorite thing which are enamel badges oh I love a good I love a good enamel badge and I'll tell you I'll start off with my favorite on even the box in his ghostbusters this is amazing these this is just a 10 that's really had a sign mccandies in those really horrible crunchy sharp tangy apple flavored candies I do unfortunately that is packed with them great but the team was the best thing about it I think there's ones where if you don't eat them instantly they all go sticky yes and these did when I had to empty this tin up I've forgotten about it and it was one big modulus massive destroying the sweet so I'm gonna start off with my ultimate favorite budge of all time ever and this one I've had since the I want the early 90s for where is it where's it gone there it is it's this one can I show this one all you can this is obviously just the Ghostbusters logo designed by Michael C gross as we all know of course what makes this one better is like there's a slight shimmer to it you can you see my red yeah like if I show you a comparison like this is the one you can buy at like Universal Studios when this Universal Studios we're doing room oh I get to do this thing that you do with your hands yeah it's fun listen it it's quite plain but it's a nice enamel badge but you can hear it too that one there and it's just is I like this one so they've ruined that one of the big trademark logo on it yeah there's two bags that came out similar problem oh let's see but it still got that nice shine to it so I've got all these nice and not all Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters two batches but that one's my absolute favorite just because of the the shimmer I like you it's very pretty it has a tint of the grave abit yes and you can pair it to all the badges that came out at the time and I'm going to show you one now that I think came out not too long after the 8 there the cartoon series came out oh yeah I might be wrong but I mean it's go so get me wrong but that looks truly haunted yeah why is it got a nose it like a big nose instead of a little line here but there's like a line this they've made it like a loop yeah cause it's sloppy the thing is but if you like the design of the logo in the film on these shoulder patches the logo is drastically or not drastically but very different from the one that they use in the final film oh because the patches actually do look more like that a little bit slapdash not cleaned up for the side of the car for ecto-1 and for the actual logo of the film which is why I look for that next time I watch it if you look online for like eBay or her what's it called inky No what's that lovely page where people make their own crafts and sell them at sea you'll see that a lot of cuff links and badges will have a slightly weird Ghostbuster design but they're all the same it's because that the same design is based as far as I'm aware on the patch designer D original logo Oh interesting so there's that and then these kind of badges that were very popular as well I've been slimed I've been slimed with all the favorite phrases ah I've been slimed having a period yeah that's a popular Ghostbusters Saint Jerome yeah there's just another one that's that on from that one well that was good this year that wasn't worrying actually this much I like because I got this from ghost core which is the Sony owned branch of ghost balm nuts rephrase that scho ghost core is the production office that makes Ghostbusters stuff for Sony on the Sony lot in LA they have a offices lot like the firehouse one popped outside so when you go into the lobby it's kind of similar not exactly the same but similar turn the inside of the firehouse it's kind of nice if I would you need impersonate they don't well they did have an intern who didn't know anything about Ghostbusters the day the fifth anniversary of ghostbusters were taking place on the Sony lot brilliant she looked generally frying to see so many really overweight men wearing jumpsuits and proton packs running around so perfect just what the world needed so all at the app so it went 2016 movie came out they set up ghost core to unite all the Quran bases and if you were part of a Ghostbusters group like Buffalo or Arizona okay you sent off and then they sent you a certificate back saying you are now illegal Ghostbusters franchise in that night I couldn't because I was on my own oh so I got in touch and said I like Ghostbusters so they sent me this ghost core mystic or I'm not used to all this stuff hey I like you our years of experience so they sent me little bites to say will you since you're not it popped the franchise you can have a ghost Corps cadet badge oh you're a cadet yeah so when they normally give to the kids pool it might be the everyone to win a Sports Day prize to be fair it might be ver but then and then I got this badge cuz it was from is it thinkgeek oh yes yes so you know they were giving out badges and I just bought this because I thought it was hella cute oh yeah it's like non-copyright-infringing ghostbusters well I feel like I've had one of these or something some really loot crate once maybe wouldn't surprise me because they might have come in loot crate's in their time the reason why I find this all interesting is because the no entry sign it's based on is European mm-hmm so theoretically that logo should be that way around oh he's the same way around but you know what I need so when it was released in the UK the logo face the other way because that's how I would have looked with the that's interesting this is obviously a pac-man crossover isn't it so even though everyone knows the logo to face you know that way yeah this way that doesn't help by doing it off camera with my thumb it should see the other way but that's an interesting factoid next badge oh nice little ecto-1 from hero collector calm now they're given these badges away because the documentary that they made cleaning up a town i've been teaming up with hero collectors to make you know you buy it we clean you get a bit of an echo once oh yes this badge came along and I quite like it I like enamel badges that's cleaning up the town been released yet yes it is now they launch you buy tunes most online web streaming certainly in Europe in the end of it singing I sing a song called the slime poem which Sigourney Weaver wrote for the wrap party I turned into a song we sent it off to Sigourney Weaver to say do you like it and she said yes so it got to be in the film you can hear me sing and can I just tell you this yes I can't sing oh dear so well so turn off before the end yeah perform three minutes are up so you think you own the credits you missing nothing and just for a laugh we're gonna put this by jr. oh my god let's go ghostbusters the original that's the Filmation one isn't it yes is the universal Filmation ghostbusters Logan you know what I quite like that is yawning it's look quite nice for those who don't know in the 70s Universal create a sitcom called ghost busters two men and a monkey solving ghosts a pantomime II when all the ghosts two robots or something or was that the cartoon they were just bad actors really just bad actors and involved them bumming around and then catching the ghost of the end milarepa Oh Mike do you know weird I hadn't heard of that so there's a couple of weeks ago yeah so basically imagine the plot but then on a very cheap budget that's the Ghostbusters original sitcom series like similar and nothing to do with the later film hence why this was had to be called the Real Ghostbusters because right up until well while they were shooting they were still refilling scenes have you said ghost breakers and go smashes in crowd seems o logos different things up on in the background and still Universal finally made a deal with a Columbia to use the license on the revision they got to make their cartoon series and let me get to make this all out the way there's one more on Malaya mando yes mando they make posters and all kinds of groovy things certainly they made ghostbusters enamel badges and this one is a mando designed it's all we get an yang thing going on I think kind of art deco II kind of feel and it's very nice and I got this real cheap as well I got this from a seller on eBay who didn't understand how much it was because if you go to the shop it's like twenty dollars but if some people on eBay is selling it for like forty fifty Wow crazy that's ridiculous it's a nice badge I like it no you know what I'm a sucker for the Ghostbusters logo I really I can adorn anything with it and that might be one of my favorite designs yet yeah that's really nice right what what next I think next we should look at yeah a different item what do you got Paul oh I've got so many things well let's do something a little bit a little bit fun please oh you know Lego make everything oh yes oh yo god yeah yes is a Playmobil ghostbusters of course just brought back to the future Wow you know obviously I'm not going up my way to buy any more Ghostbusters toys but when I saw this I had to get it it is oh he's so cute he is cute and you know what works well with a Playmobil don't you think yeah it's got that kind of chunky look to it it looks kind of screen accurate we're also being planar Billy it's in the eyes isn't it yeah it's that weird eyes mouth thing that Playmobil have and I saw the charity shop for two pound I snatched it up and it was still in its box still wrapped and I thought how much does it cost on eBay can get money flowing not too pal oh well the reason that angle the camera offered slowly ever so much everyone there's a piece of sound dampening foam on the ceiling that's slowly peeling away that noises I mean it's a wonder if like the whole of reality is about to fold in on us opening the zoo yes well it is an international cross rip this one's a bit fiddly I need to find my phone so Playmobil continue to make this one is that Ghostbusters - this is Ghostbusters - laughs oh that's ray Stantz looking very generic Playmobil now they've made ghostbusters you can buy a fire Playmobil at the one Playmobil you can also get Ghostbusters to play the bill also Real Ghostbusters play the viola oh [ __ ] yeah go to the old time yes yes that's in there bloody hell is there any extreme Ghostbusters extreme no no 2016 or they may do 2020 we just done 2016 being good let go did oh they get it through their dimensions set as well and came with a little Chinese restaurant oh so the reason why I got this not because I'm particularly huge on buying toys of ghostbusters specially these days but because this one has a gimmick and the gimmick is this ghost trap it's a ghost trap with a prism and the reason why the prism works becomes it because it comes with an app oh so I like okay so when you download this Playmobil app and you can pick any one number of ghosts let's pick Slimer right out alright and then it says yes settings yeah and then I can the room all we can do that otherwise I think actually it doesn't need to be too dark I did a little test before so you see what little ghost there yeah put it flat and then if we put it on there you can now see the go oh you sly map yeah he's in the prison floating right now if you press that corner with the trapars I say what we do that I turn the sound on okay alright and when that's alright if you press the trap now that's pretty cool it's not a lot of fun that is we've added something to an app to add to your toys that I've ever seen that actually it's really good well now Lego do augmented reality don't Lee with the haunted house sets I've seen those in the shops but I no idea how it works or if it's any good I mean from what I saw it looked fun like you aim your phone at the toy set and then it builds a whole augmented reality kind of spooky playground behind it were ghosts and things and you can catch it nothing you can do shootie games because it does have its own range of ghost hunting toys Lego oh there you go licensed as well yeah caching kitchen lie me show us a book mr. Gannon let's do books shall we because books are good yes ebooks and learn I've heard that yet to try myself oh no I wouldn't recommend it without an adult present yeah we'll start for these two books because one of my favorite collectibles growing up was all the children's tie-in books of ghostbusters oh yes little square one that had the plot broken down you know and 24 pages the rainbow booking tapes what's the little one that broke it down the one that were on the cover in the bottom right hand corner it has a picture of Slimer and says featuring the ugly little Spurs because they haven't called him slimy on that stage well funnily enough that was the book I had as a kid lost and then you put in that boston's box yes yeah such a strong memory for me that little book that is the book I remember buying in a discount charity not charity shop but like a discount told shop in where I grew up more and cross and I bought that book there that was my big memory of going to the cinema seeing that film and then going to the shop and seeing that book and that that's when the problem started so Lady Bird did ghostbusters 2 as well broken down for kids oh yeah but recently in America they have a thing called little golden books which are like I guess the equivalent of like ladybird books for being in the UK oh yes so I went out and I got this hard to get the Ghostbusters ball so these are recent these are recent Issa came out the last well obviously 2016 I think these came out because they came out to tie-in not only with the film but weird the 2016 film as well it tells the story of both films in very simplistic manner you've got the pokey little puppy the Good Humor van man even how to be a pirate and ghostbusters the Good Humor man seems really I don't know that seems really creepy like actually he's gonna lose his [ __ ] any minute yeah he's just forcing himself down with powerful horse tranquilizers yeah very simplistic like versions of the film but actually I really like the artwork the drawings in them you know I'm just flicking through this one this is really nice actually yeah but it boils the plot down to or it almost being you know soros dudes on camera I'm getting quite excited I'm loving this picture of goes of the goes Aryan their who just looks like a naked person covered in some sort of ping-pong balls yes that's exactly what goes a lot yeah I'm reeling pong ball called a demon they've certainly done it well the Ghostbuster the bottom going primordial like yeah but they don't have it like obviously the book doesn't have lines like this [ __ ] is toast sort of implied a sexual sequence with Dan Aykroyd you think they put that bit in we get to blowie from a ghost and a good book but know that so I kind of really like these again the simplistic can be good for kids but as a way introducing your child to a new franchise it's nice innit one day a young musician named Dana Barrett was resting in her apartment suddenly her favorite sketch peracare her favorite chair came to life and tried to grab her yes story or something well that's how you have to my got one for a Jurassic Park as well for my girlfriend oh wow so yeah and also there were tons of Marvel ones now because recently it's been resurgence so you can get access in these three I've seen some of the Marvel ones a friend's daughter had like superhero related ones yeah hmm so that's that and again I kind of enjoy them because there's a little bit of Americana I guess with the little golden books but now you can get them in the UK quite easily lots of toy stores that are still existent in still existence that's not a sentence either still in existence there we go we'll sell little golden books now oh oh where should we go next to take what will stay on the kiddie train and we'll get this up again at charity shop oh my god actually oldest is slightly too big for the camera angle it severely the real gusto here is this front I would have guessed 86 87 Latino oh I love the Real Ghostbusters the Real Ghostbusters was fascinating because what it did which the films never really did was expand the universe yeah because even though there is a sequel the sequels basically its own reboot where it's like let's start again from scratch and then tell the same story again yeah do you know to this day the tangible feel of disappointment from watching Ghostbusters 2 in the cinema as a child still I mean the as we always say but the image of Vigo the Carpathian is amazing iconic brilliant yeah everything else in that film you know what it's interesting my theory has always been and the major problem with it is is that I think the first half the best part but then the minute they become ghostbusters again it kind of becomes just a rehash of the first of them and it's not taking me all that inventive being so excited for it then you go and seeing that oh oh I mean this I feel like I'm watching the same film again now I know what Star Wars fans felt like when they watch the Phantom Menace where they convince themselves it was good until someone yeah what all that tax embargo stuff about on trade and but they were but setting up the world six-year-olds love taxi bar goes don't they they do yeah no tax they negotiate all Accountancy set is the biggest toy this year there's a receipt in the front oh my [ __ ] god oh god this is in the front of it just floating there man this is so nostalgic for me giving away free cereal I couldn't tell you which one but judging its making its looks like a Weetabix thing doesn't we toes or that kind of I remember sticking these and there's you had to get them wet and they sort of came off but a - almost yeah absolutely but Morford nonsense palaces waterslide transfers are quick and simple to use and are suitable for decorating most non-porous surfaces apply your Ghostbusters mudslide transfers to items with a smooth surface eg mirrors lunch boxes bicycle frames grannies corpse and all that sort of stuff waterslide transfer the load my naked body oh my god I'm doing a video may actually come out before this one so don't never know the of things you used to get in the serial of the 80s see more freebies also nostalgia but this one for me is like that is the ultimate example see for me that the most kind of ghostbusters - nostalgic thing was when the drink 5 life has Holograms on the front of go belly brother yes logo and I cut all those out to make my own makeshift Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack compilation tape hey I never bought it nerd fans may like to know that finally for the first time I bought ghostbusters 2 sounds like on vinyl guess that I record helped and found it only 20,000 pounds this is that all the annual is based on the Marvel comic so Marvel in the UK released these because they become in the name of the company in America that released these comics it wasn't Marvel it was something like wow or fun comics someone can happily and quickly correct me below in the comments oh my god you can do your own Real Ghostbusters pantomime but as best as I remember if this was get rid of the receipt a lot of the comics in Marvel took the American Prince and then reformatted it for the UK and then the UK artists and writers created their own stories for their own sections of the comic which is why they had thing like Peter venkman's writers page you know the whole quest yeah that's troubling image [ __ ] you know that's a little bit yeah what it's got an interesting collection of stories in there the idea that Ray buys a cake which turns his tongue into a dhanoa monster I don't know it's happened to some point but if it wasn't for jokes busters UK Marvel Comics we would never know how Egon got his blonde hair very much like snow because of course dark hair in the film blonde hair in the comic obviously in the film doesn't really matter if you're three white blokes have brought down it but we're brown here you know what I mean it's just a thing but when it comes to animation you want something to pop which so they just wanted it to look different for every character which is why Egon has blonde hair but in the comic books they decided the reason why he had blonde hair was because I'm hoping I remember this right he eats a mushroom from this a collection and it makes him trip out and his hair goes blonde so Egon trips that one druggie drugs yeah well that makes perfect sense to me yeah can you spot the difference other than the other pictures upside down meetings classes have gone already if it's called spot the difference than yeah they just want it upside down yeah you know I think my favorite bit in that annual though is how to make your own proton pack out of boxes oh my god I need to see this I think it's my love there's ol Daniels man they really were just an exercise in how to fill pages with it yeah and also it's like it's yes a few things from do you remember the short-lived Marvel UK comic it's wicked know right so imagine a very very very simplistic viz for kids oh but with a B no aesthetic yeah yeah Slimer was the poster child for that comic it's with Oh and that design ends up in this annual interesting so here's how to make your own Ghostbusters proton pack using cardboard boxes shoe boxes and a smug image of right Horace mug because he's thinking it's gonna look like that proton pack but it isn't but all you did was put a PI case on the back of a cereal box yes is The Fray Bentos pack yeah and your parents are never gonna help you or get the part so basically all you'll end up with is a gray box or some tape on it yeah and you'll be lucky to have it yeah some lovely adventures adventures in there of the characters and again it expanded the the cartoon did expand the universe characters relatives of the Ghostbusters Peter Venkman dad turns up and uh some of the nasal con man watch out loser makes perfect sense thematically I believe that episode is Marie the Mantis I might be wrong in fact I'm always wrong when I state things publicly on YouTube I get quite quickly corrected don't worry I'm sure the comments will be polite oh I throw this next one in again we're going for a reading section so what year is it 2020 in 2019 Ghostbusters turn 35 years old and I got to go to the Ghostbusters fan fest in LA on the Sony lot to celebrate Ghostbusters and it's something like 300 400 Ghostbusters fans all the meeting and greeting the stars dan Aykroyd Ernie Hudson everyone who's alive who wanted to be there was that basically everyone except Bill Murray Rick Moranis oh of course these count would ravers have an excuse for not being there yeah to be fair yeah I can't really do that when and how Rick Moranis just kind of retired I hear he's coming back now but his kids are grown yeah he retired and won't say vertical his wife died too inside look after his kids the money from the honey I thought the kids supposedly allowed him to take the time off nobody's coming back to do and you Hunnish what the kids movie for Disney Hey called shrunk apparently that makes sense and if you think and it sounds good can I just give you one thing that might put you off go on Josh God's gonna be in it oh yeah playing away shilling Solinsky lynskey what the character he played planes and in skis characters suck there wasn't many my gosh so anyway this is the magazine you got when you went okay that was a world there is a jolly cartoon logo attempting to kill his own kind yeah that's a straighter a swine so it was all designed by the artists who do the IDW wall-eyed eww comics so it's got a nice unified visual field but ultimately it's just a little guide tells you what's going on who's gonna be there it was nice it's nice to go because after all the 2016 hoopla and force and a few it was nice to kind of finally go amongst my people and see Evan was actually quite accepting so there's an advert for Dan Ackroyd's Crystal Head vodka and yeah I honestly think that I call it now is using ghostbusters less as if they a franchise and mobile way to shift is vodka that would certainly finger there's a trance oh yes they didn't ecto-1 transformer didn't know so much across today with everything but IDW get to do that and they did a turtles as well oh my god how array mrs. dollar fur yeah he got to me here a nice little chat nice and so the magazine just kind of brings you up to date with what's going on at the fan fest things you can buy like the magazine wall cartoons and then that's that that's kind of a drawing of the layout of the venue lovely time we were previewing the documentary king of the town celebrating ghostbusters and so I was doing the Q&A there and then I got to do bits and bobs and then I spelt a drink all over myself in front of three of the stars of ghostbusters good right [ __ ] with grape soda all over my belly dan Aykroyd did send me a text saying he's disgraced himself again dan dan Aykroyd returned my calls that's because he didn't buy enough of his launcher right you know I like looking oh man so it just for context this was a very popular 80's magazine with for the kids in the UK and it was all had a lot of stuff from pop culture so you'd have music and TV and one of my few videos in 4k on this channel behind me so you can read along if you want to really can I look have you noticed the logo oh [ __ ] son so that the way you're looking at that on the looking magazine is the European way that no entry sign works and that's how officially speaking the logo should look it just didn't translate in whatever reason aesthetically I think it looks better facing the other one does I do agree with that yeah it does and this is a look where else can you get a magazine with ghostbusters and black like push pineapple slightly off in a tangible way here the novelty record basically basically your dad with a bad haircut and novelty records and I really regret singing a bit of the songs would probably get copyright destroying that or right you buy these a gurdoone Society of England you probably won't you know why why is they stole this on themselves good they overheard it playing in a German holiday can spread the song oh there's something strange in your neighborhood who you get a call the police of course indeed because you know I would suggest there'd be a robbery before there'd be any ghosts if anything this is likely coming yet so he got in there there we go so there's a little spread in there and a bit of information about the actual film saying it's a little bit naughty for kids well we always the scary like there's a library ghost yeah there's no every ghost yeah it's fascinating it's a little lovely thing when you look back to see it's all the very proud of their colour centre they'd even put it on the top corner and then done two of the colour Center pages in black and white photo understand yep there we are it always used to happen oh there he goes Ray Parker jr. yeah and there's goes are covered in ping-pong balls oh I like the idea which says there yeah the name the name wasn't singable so I just said let's just shout it that's very sir he knows his stuff can't argue with that I love what all the old information was like onion-head ghost well before the cartoon Corden Slimer a child apparently this is Ricky Schroder from silver spoons I have no idea what that is sitcom maybe I do know the theme too but you know I am NOT gonna sing it how do you know the theme team and I've never even heard of the program because family got released an album and there's a track where Stewie and the dog do a bunch of big band version two sitcom tunes or so so it's American yeah okay I feel slightly less bad for not having heard of it man right and I do one last thing and this is Pauline the most interesting thing so I was given this by Kristen oh yes so aspects yeah Beks yeah could you went to Japan and she saw this in a Japanese I'm not guessing a secondhand shop of some kind obviously ghostbusters - yeah it is a promotional magazine to promote the release of ghostbusters 2 on laserdisc oh so it's full of [ __ ] is who you're gonna call us please call us we are lonely well the thing is well if you say are you gonna call Ghostbusters - all who else yeah like Ghostbusters - first the laserdisc and the whole technical features of you know what you can do with it there's Vigo the Carpathian yeah voiced by the now departed Max von Sydow died this weekend yeah at the time of filming yeah so the magazine just features a little bit about the production the making of the track listing of the seat of the soundtrack it's all in there now I'm gonna get it properly translated cuz I think there are Japanese film critics commenting in it as well but my favorite is this page where it introduces all the new ghosts oh oh we got the names in English yeah I'll let you read them out okay we go fair enough you know everything ago this is yep pink slime big slime I think now you've only be a picture the bathtub is it oh of course yet this gallery brothers yes he knows of course the old lady ghost and her cart remember that no that's the scene where the babies on the side of the building and then a nickel Friday yes there's like a big P yes yeah grabs the baby that's the other good scene now again from what I was told they had a big special effect plan for that but our time and money so you said Peter McNichol would you pull wig on and reach out and he does it really well it's actually really creepy it was worth they slam the door him in the alleyway and he lies become torches and he just moves his head and scans and it's alive freaky no yeah there's some creepy bits and Ghostbusters - he's a good actor old yeah whatever his name was Johnny McNichol that's it I hope it's Peter mythical of the circle his name one four times ghost runner that's the obviously the sprinting the Java ghost yeah minx yeah what minx I don't know it's that xxx store volume 30 seconds is that 5 second sequence where a woman walks through the slime and a mink coat attack sir oh I believe was a holdover gag from the first ghostbusters I didn't have time to put in interesting theaters ghosts ghosts of the theater the the a green little spa so there's that Slimer rather than the ugly little spud it's become the agry little spat yeah and it's were they going for angry or is that just a real corruption of ugly I I honestly think that is just bad translation which is a shame because it's gets much the other translations reasonably correct but in the translation it just say he was bad and now he's a good ghost but you think it all the time it took between you onion-head Slimer the Real Ghostbusters they still called him the angry little spud the thing that just has a lot of press and information about all like because I did this were huge in Japan know compared to the rest of the world so I can see why they were pushing the format more over there it's a it's a cinema connoisseur guide bloody hell - the a green little spat now I do have 50,000 more things behind me but we'll stop I'm gonna show you something of my own first oh you've exactly right really I have an email from Disney saying I'm not allowed to call kylo Ren lie low Ken or lie low lil yeah that was the joke but no they went up to it works if they seem to quite like the Joker just like no he can't those toys you had on here awhile ago that were they crapped slime or some old angry's yeah yes that's why we're trying to dodge the copyright there we are there's Egon with his massive quiff and his glasses handy meter yeah oh yes yes as well yeah just there I was thinking it was a pickaxe and yeah proton pack and all that stuff a jumpsuit it's it's an image isn't it it's a really weird image ray because his trademark goggles holding a ghost trap looking a bit worried that's about right that's him in a nutshell yeah it just needs a cigarette hanging out his mouth but I understand why they didn't do that I think I might like my own cigarette yeah number three is Venkman looking worried as he talks into his receiver as Slimer is about to get to be sorry the a green little side is about to get angry little perspired Meister yeah that's very good it does seem like they framed all the docs based on that one scene in the hotel from ghostbusters this is true actually because that's him saying you know he's staring at me where he's looking right at me he's an awkward little spot isn't it yeah this they've got quite a rock-and-roll haircut here sort of fifties Teddy Boy thing almost going on for Venkman Beckman's always had that look though and when you look at all the different permutations of his design it's always had that slick kind of a slightly rockabilly look to it yeah they're kind of anti-establishment I don't care how my bed hair looks kind of look and unfortunately I'm gonna be honest here I don't think Winston has come out as well as the others because they've left him yellow yeah there are brown ducks there are brown ducks available I just don't like that I get why they put the mustache on his beak but I don't like that mustache it's weird isn't it looks like he's been eating something doesn't mucked off till this looks a bit more like John Waters to me John Waters goes buff the duck oh that's a limited edition well yes he thinks a man goes yeah it would take to it like a duck to John Waters this video is over I'm gonna go in here and pretend I'm a Ghostbuster yes that's me cool notice how my moustache is further back than his yeah that suggests it's over the bridge of your nose yeah do you know what I think it's just a case of mustaches and ducks don't really mix no they've nothing can be done just one of those things I like the proton pack detail at the back Oh actually Oh quickly show this well we can't because I'm not gonna get into the whole Ghostbusters 2016 thing I like if he didn't that's fine but shut up I love the proton packs in 2016 I saw this in a charity shop I think it came from a loot crate type thing and it is the 2016 design really liked it there's something light is that there's a shot of the ghostbusters at Times Square the end of 2016 film we're all lined up and that's spinning around and it's pulsing yeah that looks nice I brought I'd love to have a 2016 replica pack having never done one no they have was a toy and it had a projector that came out of the gun like a fire a little ghost but they're really hard to get hold of and expensiveness as with most things to be honest like this when they're limited and hard to get hold of people jack up the price so I'm noticing that on the display there it's showing a date 6 8 1984 which presumably an American is 8th of June 1984 is that the release date of the photo very likely it's very guys never cool that lands a very good catch I wonder if that goes back to oh the other film maybe maybe and then look another little mini one oh those the ones that you can paint yourself look it's got straps on the back this is this the one they like to sell in book shops and stuff it's the one that called a little it's--we those little microbe things like Harry Potter wands and sorting hats and and and I got Zoltar I mean he's all talk Wow and you press it and it said all the things in the movie so this like this bit comes up yeah it comes off him and you've got straps and stuff you could actually like fit that onto a figure of the rights sighs can you I think you could although the figures themselves awesome wouldn't necessarily have to be ghostbusters like it Scott it's got batteries in where's where's the button that makes things happen is that it yes but the batteries are dead what happens he's one-armed Emperor Palpatine let's try the crossover you've all been waiting for come on come on a millions of years old that a clone did Wikipedia not tell you where to plan for tonight to get this story wrap it over and destroy Paul's clothes it's all right oh look at this hang on wait wait no hello it's up this is all no it's too big to go in the hand look at that Palpatine Ghostbuster I find it statistically unlikely that I would fear a spook and that's why he wasn't well I guess what I should really end this video on is the piece de resistance that is too big to get on the couch Oh she'll be sure that oh my god guys literally sitting on the side of the sofa forgotten about you were very excited about this one you can come down in the bathtub after I've had this toy as a kid it's [ __ ] great it really is so basically there aren't that many ghosts and ghost busters that would make good toys so they made up a lot of crazy [ __ ] and it was marvelous absolutely great anything from a scary toilet to an old lady this is one of my foes an early one I believe I forget I forget what it's called book by Blaster something like that I'm just gonna nod and agree before we didn't only forego and you basically hit the back I think he's a bit leaky these days so I'm a karate chop this quite hard gum give it a go yeah the eyeball would come flying out attached the piece of string so you don't lose it what's a cool toy a cool toy I did love all my Ghostbusters toys look you can throw it as I as well see it's just like being a teen that might seed eight just like being the 80s but just being like in the 80 yeah exactly that was actually a scene from the upcoming Ghostbusters film so look out for the rise of the Ghostbusters yeah they all say they're cool they're all called Stancil Venkman at the end so the piece de resistance is my Ghostbusters proton pack right we're going to cut away and come back [Applause] I'm gonna be honest Paul it looks cool but the sound does sound a bit diary it's a little bit diary job and I got that well mr. biffo got me that so when I went to LA I was looking for it because there's a company in America called spirits they make Halloween props and all kinds of props and they bought up a bunch of ghostbusters ones and what was fascinating about them was for the price which I think was $80 for that proton pack it's quite good you know you can spend thousands getting complete wreck replicas I can play do some weathering on that with a bit of paint and some pens and whatever and make it look like a movie prop but it cost like 60 70 quid 60 70 dollars now when I went to LA I thought I'd bought one and it turned I hadn't I bought another proton pack by another costume company oh and it was all foam over get drunk topple in and it'll take a beating but that one is by the company spirit and they also do a PKE meter and goggles and a trap and they all look really good for the money but they aren't hold off so when Biff I went to LA last year I said pop into a spirit shop because they kind of pop up in abandoned buildings like ghosts yes like ghosts and he grabbed me one and then came back and he told me how to get another suitcase to accommodate so pay a million pounds like a bb-8 and a lightsaber and all sort it's gonna buy another suitcase anyway yeah so what if people wanted to learn more about Ghost Busters and your particular Ghostbuster story mr.
