From beauty guru to prophet

[Music] hey guys what's up and welcome back to my channel so today we're going to talk about somewhat of an internet phenomenon something that has been flooding the timelines whether you're on twitter or instagram or even somewhat on youtube i could say there has been a lot of talk about a very particular individual because of the interesting trajectory their career has taken in the past i want to say week or by the time this goes up probably two weeks it's just very strange and i've never seen anything like this before the person i'm referring to is amanda ensing now before assuming what i'm going to say i'd please ask you to watch the whole video because i've truly never seen someone go from beauty guru to profit within a week really and so i think it'd be interesting to see what happened but more than anything when i mentioned this on twitter a lot of people were confused as to what exactly happened who she was why people were talking about her so we're really just going to ansing who is a beauty youtuber who i discovered a couple years ago due to another scandal she was in for allegedly copying merch from a smaller creator i've watched her videos here and there but i've not been you know watching every single upload amanda ensign until pretty much a week ago was just a beauty influencer and that's not to minimize but i'm just saying that was her general public title whatever you want to call it so she was a beauty influencer as you guys know the us elections occurred not that long ago basically a lot of people were commenting that her boyfriend was very much posting things in favor of trump so they were wondering who she voted for it turns out she voted for trump so that is where things started to occur and this is not even just focused on who she voted for it becomes into a way way way bigger mess i guess then she decided to post a video called what's next for america now in that video she talks about politics yes but a lot of it is also very centered on religion and the issue a lot of people had with that video is that she was essentially putting politics and religion into one whereas you know most people refer to the separation of church and state so people weren't really happy she was doing that especially other christians who you know might not have the same political view who are just kind of like you can't put these things together especially because a lot of people found that her tone in the video was patronizing holier than thou just very much condescending that was the general consensus and if you go look at the comments that is very much the consensus last i checked there were like 17 000 thumbs down i believe in that video amanda talks a lot about her relationship with god and the reason that a lot of people found it condescending was also because she was saying that she wasn't going to judge people that had different thought processes or different conclusions than her but then she also said you know like if you don't see it my way you're asleep you're not paying attention just kind of belittling anyone else who might have a varying opinion which obviously people don't respond well to understandably i've always been unapologetic in my beliefs you know i've always shared love tolerance and equality for all and for a long time i thought politics was something that shouldn't be discussed online i vote based off of facts policy and my christian i vote with what aligns in my beliefs and i educate myself i learn all the policies i know all the facts and to see how many people have shown their true colors this week has been a blessing and eye-opening and to be honest in a lot of ways i'm also not surprised because we have seen more hate than i think we have seen in i mean as long as i've been alive i've never seen it like this this is in no way me trying to shame anyone for their vote i have always and i've talked about this on my platform you are free to do your own research and you have the responsibility to educate yourself and to know what you're voting for if you found yourself confused the last couple of weeks wondering why are there so many people out there for trump if you found yourself asking these questions and condemning people i mean i've been called every name under the sun have you ever stopped to realize that one party voted for the president because they love what he's done for this country in policy and for the world i mean it's the first time we've had peace in the middle east that's just one thing out of a million where the other party voted based off of hate have you actually stopped to think about that and that's something i highly recommend stopping to think about if you haven't and i could go on and on and on for a long time of the reasons of why i decided to vote for trump and i decided to support our president something i will never apologize for is thinking for myself knowing the policy and the facts doing my research and not voting based off of a hashtag meanwhile if you knew what was happening in this country you would be scared and embarrassed right now is all i'm going to say any responsible person will take the time to do the research and really know what each president has done is doing and what policies they've enacted and will enact when you're a believer your identity is not in other people's opinions your identity is found in christ do people not realize that television tells you your vision that programming programs you to think a certain way and it's like that line and this new song a follower had sent me and it's a lot of dumb people with smart phones and look we all make mistakes we all do things we regret so i'm not here to shame anyone but as a friend and someone who cares i'm here to make you question and think so in the video she says that the important thing is to do your research and be informed and just be very aware of what's going on in the world that's all completely correct you should be well informed you should do your research she then says that she's going to leave resources in the description box if you go to see the description box the resources she left which i thought were going to be scholarly articles because she was business administration and political science double major so you'd think she'd know better well all the links were to tick talks and facebook those were her resources which rightfully so people in the comments were like these are not real resources like you can't cite a tick tock as an actual source of information because anyone can make a tick tock i could make a tick tock today saying the sky is green the grass is blue that doesn't make it true the general message in that video was that mainstream media lies to us which to some extent i agree with because i do think that mainstream media [ __ ] up a lot and depending on what channels you watch obviously there's a bias and they're gonna you know skew stories one way or another not all mainstream media but a lot of it i don't trust that i think a lot of people agree with if you're saying that you can't really trust mainstream media or social media but then you're linking a social media to give you information and you yourself are sending the message on youtube which is a form of social media you understand it it comes off as contradictory so people are also confused about that i thought that was going to be it like i thought that we kind of had taken care of you know the topic at hand and we're going to move on but what happened is that amanda ensing started doubling down so firstly there was a homophobic comment under that video i'm sure there was more than one but there was one that she actually physically hearted and i'll put the comment on the screen but it did say something along the lines of like they didn't want same-sex marriages or they didn't think it was important for two men to be able to marry each other and there were other things in that comment it was a relatively short one and she liked it so people were understandably upset by that because why would you like a homophobic comment unless you agree allegedly it just seemed very suspicious to like comment unless you agree with all of it especially if it's saying something as controversial then after that what occurred is that she started posting a lot on twitter now if you just want to see her twitter and you didn't know who she was you would have no idea that she's a beauty influencer because her whole timeline since i last checked is either religious or political which is her prerogative but i'm just saying it's a very distinctive shift which is why i think all of this is interesting because i think it's one of the first times that i've seen a beauty influencer just go zero to a hundred from not talking about politics really at all to like flooding their timelines with it which is why it's interesting there were two separate instances that made people alarmed concerned and annoyed amanda ensing went on an instagram rant now i'll put pieces of it but it's four minutes i'll link the whole four minute thing down below if you want to watch it it was very alarming to me because you know when you see something you immediately have a gut reaction of like something's wrong well that's how i felt and that's not to assume anything that's i'm just saying what my reaction was but basically she was talking about the bible and she was saying before posting the video what's next for america that was a very controversial video she called her friend who she never calls and her friend started telling her about a section of the bible that's about a woman named esther now amanda and singh said that she never really focused on esther that she'd heard of her but it was never really a main focus in her biblical studies from there things started to get alarming to me because she started seeing correlations which granted to some degree it's a very strange coincidence because she was like you know i never talked about esther i never really write about esther then when i posted this video the first comment was about esther and then i opened my dms and the first dm was about esther and then she started talking about the number three i can't remember what it was about but it was like you know esther did so and so three times and this happened three times and this happened three times so she was correlating the numbers three and like the occurrence of people mentioning us there all of that is fine whatever it's not that big of a deal like i don't find that in and of itself by itself alarming but then it turned into she was kind of implying that she was today's esther and that's where i was like okay something's up and that's also why in this video my commentary might be more minimal than usual but it's simply because i don't know if something's wrong there i don't want to assume anything i don't know what her mental health is like but it does alarm me when people actually think they are a prophet because this isn't to be rude or anything but if there were a prophet today i just really don't think they'd pick a beauty influencer to be the prophet that's just my opinion you guys can let me know if you think they would choose beauty influencers of all people from the most toxic community on youtube to be a prophet she was essentially implying that she was today's esther and that she was brought here to speak her truth and stand up for the people i believe it was her tone and her demeanor was very alarming to me because it seemed very almost like frantic nervous energy and granted it could just be that she was excited about all these coincidences and the yester thing whatever pretty much myself and everyone else that saw it that i talked to we were all on the same page of like sum things up esther was this beautiful like one of the most beautiful women and she stood up to the king and she saved her people so it's about to get wild oh a thought popped in my head whenever she was breathing this life into me and i was like what if god brought me on this platform for a moment in time such as this you know when you read people in the bible they all they had was their faith in god they didn't know god was going to come through they believed god was through and we read the aftermath in the bible so i was like okay what if i was brought here for this moment like god got me here i'm gonna risk it all for god right never been breathed into my life before and the video this girl made on esther was three days ago in the book of esther she fasted for three days like the spiritual warfare that's happening right now i also want to share this first with you if it's in ether 4 14 and i'll have it on the screen but essentially it says that if you remain silent at this time the jews will be saved from another place but your family will perish and it says that what if you were brought to this royal position this high power times such as this that was god speaking to esther that if she remained quiet her and her family would be perished and the jews would still be saved but that he brought her to this place this high position of power for this one moment in history god did not call us to be silent he called us to use our voice god called us to be spiritual warriors and there are a lot of christians that are being really quiet and sitting back and not wanting to get into conflict not wanting to cause any division the division is already here to be using our voice for love and for truth we gotta speak up so basically after that she doubled down again on the esser thing and ended up posting it i think on her instagram as well but definitely on her twitter she posted this essentially saying be an s third you know be strong be whatever all these positive things which it's great to aspire to and be inspired by but it's a different situation when you actually think you are that person like she was implying people were alarmed after that but then if we go back to her twitter she again continued to post political slash religious things and one of the things she posted really bothered people because she posted from a satirical website but she either didn't realize it was satirical or decided to ignore that fact but she was posing as if it was real news she posted it i think it was about kamala harris and some policies she wanted to institute and while reading the screenshot it's very obvious it's not real news because even how it's worded you can tell it's like a joke like it read more as a fan fiction than a news article so even when i read it without knowing it was a satirical website it's called the babylon b i believe this is not legit and then someone in the comments screenshotted you know a description of babylon beat and they themselves call themselves fake news they say that they're satirical but she was passing it off as real as i last checked i checked yesterday and it's been over 24 hours that that post was left up even though people are like this is like misinformation please don't act like this is real because it's not had to take a hoodie break it's pretty cold here anyway so basically the end of all this saga as of when i'm filming this video amanda ensign posted on her twitter referring to other influencers and brands in regards to how they responded to her discussing her political affiliations discussing her christian faith and she said this the last week has revealed so much if i was petty i would release every influencer who called and texted me who didn't vote for biden but is lying about it now or staying quiet the fact several unfollowed me but voted for trump is sad this week the fake were purged psa to those who unfollowed remove me from your brand's pr list you made this personal by brands i mean the influencer brands unfollowed me personally but still want me to sell their products it's ironic that many of these people who unfollowed i was the one to text slash check up on them show them grace through their mistakes drama meanwhile i practice my freedom of speech to vote and they cower don't come to me when they turn on you i'll be in my lane leveling up it is difficult for me to believe that other influencers would essentially reach out and say hey i also voted for trump but i'm saying i voted for biden okay bye like i don't understand exactly in what context that would occur like i could understand influencers reaching out being like hey i'm in the same boat as you or something like that but for someone to come out and just straight up tell her that they're lying you're essentially giving her ammunition like i'm not saying she would blackmail anyone that's not what i'm alleging but you're giving someone information that they could very well use against you and i don't know why anyone would do that unless you're very close friends but in that case they would already know who you voted for so that kind of interaction seems strange to me that people would just come out and be like oh yeah i'm lying about who i voted for but i mean everything's possible i just thought that was a little bit strange aside from that i don't know if she has been dropped by brands a lot of people were commenting on her video and on her twitter and then on reposts of her instagram stories on like tea pages they were commenting that they were unsubscribing that they were actually going to try contacting the brands that sponsor her namely savagex fenty a lot of people are saying i don't think savagex fenty would back this up and so people were emailing to get her dropped from brands i don't know if she's been dropped there's been nothing said publicly if she hasn't been dropped she's actually demanding for some brands to take her off pr because she sees them as two-faced so definitely there has been some effect to her career but it seems like so far all that we can see is her demands to be removed so it's definitely been a very strange concept to see someone go so zero to 100 which is why i want to talk about it because i've never seen it before as well as for people who
