Found This Dumpster Diving

Suns just peeking up I have an empty truck and look what I found yeah that's what I'm excited about this morning first scrap stop and it's a stove sorry neighbors make a little noise how's that okay yeah there any cookies in here oh yeah I do my stretching yet Oh swoop the dogs up is not gonna let go home yes spider-man some people ask what I do with the cords these are 32 cents a pound that's insulated copper wire in there that's copper yeah so you seen better days Thanks how you doing all right I'm good morning the bearings are out on that one thanks again hmm it seems like a productive Ally this is why I wear gloves speaking of gloves yeah that's gonna go to a kid or something hey I should put this in the oven repack here goes another scrapper it looks like we're all got a schedule keep trash schedule that chair yeah almost missed it Oh ticket thank you very much - the rust can I get it all at once probably not now without dropping it sound like a drum corps over here forget it yeah you can tell I read back a little bit all the stuff inside the oven oh you got to go vertical yep this part here definitely take that's sturdy too quite sturdy speaking of styrofoam yeah I brought my coffee mug with it's a scrapping pallet man coffee mug - you guys do know I have merchandise right they got merch scrapping pallet man mugs so normally I'm pretty stealthy I think at least when it comes to like being a scrapper just got quick about picking something up and running with it play-doh I love playdough when I was a kid but what I'm gonna do right now you probably kind of conspicuous personal things in there or nothing with that weights yes I'll take him steel in there yeah that's pure steel five pounds to is it a fan that is a cool fan and books rehab yeah I'm gonna take that one I heard of these music books and a back scratcher they are a bunch of music books Oh or i'ma put these in my truck in the trash can you're coming with me mister yes you are you can't it's quite awkward if an aqua peace deal with strap Paul it's all awkward it's true lot of it is there's a decent amount of hair chain-link fences earrings gonna catch on it few people in comments we're asking is that legal what you're doing well I have a a video in the link in all the just in the description of all the videos that shows the Supreme Court decision California versus Greenwood in essence just states that the police were using people's trash to convict people of crimes and so the police were fighting for trash to be allowed to be gone through and they won but in winning it also said that the trash in the United States let's take it out to the curb is considered up for grams I know there's some local municipalities that have gone against the Supreme Court law and said no we don't want trash picking in our area I don't know I would not want to live in a town that is literally doing stuff against the law of the land the Supreme Court of the United States I would have a problem with that town and that could easily be overturned if someone wanted to challenge that in tort because it's obviously constitutional what we're doing something caught my eye as I was driving by my oh my that rhymed actually better than I intended it okay I reckon the scrapper in is natural no it really is enjoyable doing this whole scrapping thing so in um yesterday I brought in all my pallets so I had two stacks of pallets here 20 of them I didn't record it cuz it was just a trip to this pallet yard it wasn't wasn't a big thing but also I had a little bit of scrap like half of as much as this and the prices dropped even more fifty five dollars in net ton I'm sure did I record that yesterday I can't remember now sorry hey besides in my truck no I will never put sides on here because then I'd lose my ability to work out of the side of the truck so yeah scrap prices have dropped pallet prices are still two dollars a piece the 48 by 44 way pallets actually just making a u-turn I didn't even know this school is back here but I seem if it's aluminum that'd be amazing it's thick - let's check it I have a feeling it is oh it's not still awesome though quite sure what to higher I don't know yeah so I got oh man my mugs I'm not using the styrofoam cups all right so just took off the pure steel so this stuff will sell it seven cents a pound and I just kind of cleaned up here a little bit can't be up there yeah so the stuff just can't have you know like paint on it or other items or coating you get it all right let's go finish it scrapping looks like metal now this is how you do it oh it's summer that all is totally tricked don't you guys yellow band mind if I take your fan thank you and the other bits of it now for me this stuff with a paint on it wouldn't go as number one steel I don't know it might be in your area or but it doesn't right now and could I stumbled across even more prepared steel they call prepared because you don't really have to do anything with it like if I had a huge eye beam that was nine feet long that would be unprepared steel because those guys would have to do something with it Wow I'm not quite sure that's a bit awkward and no I'm not gonna break out my grinder battery-powered grinder that's all it's a big hole right there does it come on screws they bright try taking it apart didn't work out so well town is getting better wish that this could be recyclable it's not we just don't have the infrastructure set up for it we don't we had a system that we would ship our recyclables out to a different place and have them do it we call it bared so yeah well let's go pick up that lawn mower so basically 17 bucks for 560 pounds yeah so that is exactly half price of what it was yeah six months ago so but thank you lord it's it's all about you anyway why do you provide so even if I had everything in the world where would I put it yeah relationship with you got a relationship with others it's all about thank you Jesus amen or the chance of that mowers not gonna be there yeah it's still there let's get it that one piece of galvanized it was just too big to deal with yeah sure I threw it the Shred part hmm I just want across our refrigerator yes I'm gonna be in their driveway can't be their driveway Pole sweet but all kinds of stuff okay let's get to work I'm gonna pull the truck around drag this thing without scraping the ground all the way off his driveway come on is the one of the wheels are broken or something [Applause] you know what because the bottom is so much heavier the top I'm actually gonna tilt it tilt it again and then so in the heavier part actually lands inside yeah that worked out wasn't so bad yeah so I just basically got the heavy side once a heavy side tilted and the fulcrum point the balance point it was super easy to plop it in and then reef lip it back over I'm learning as I'm going it's not just automatically natural to do this there's some yet coming out of this one [Music] yeah I got a mower guy now I'm happy about that he said he'll take every mower or trimmer or leaf blower or whatever I got so we worked out a deal all right hopefully more dudes not gonna be as picky as BMX bike dude was I don't think so a more than it already is yeah so I have this so it's galvanized and prepared steel and then I got that refrigerator so I'm gonna ask them how they want to do this probably it's gonna be weighing twice so I'll take the galvanized or the shred and drop it off well weigh drop off one of them weigh again then drop off the other and then weigh out first 4,400 oh yeah hi amen I got some some prepared steel and galvanized what do you want me to drop it [Music] [Music] [Music] yeah I just dropped off the galvanized right by that dumpster there I'm in so I'll wait is he on the scale I can't tell you might be I think he's trying to come in let me this is one of the news this is one of new companies let me see there's one of the guys would look up it we just show up on all right you might not be on the scale okay see this is why I usually store right into the straight path so now it's at 4080 she's worth forty to forty before so 180 pounds of galvanized there's a meeting of the minds so now it's the final way out I had bigger load to be different now I'm at four thousand six so twenty pounds that was crazy [Music] yeah and the last way was unprepared [Music] I got a total of $17.40 but check this breakdown so the scrap steel which was the refrigerator was three cents a pound and that's what it is right now it's sixty dollars in that ton so I got five bucks for that refrigerator now that other steel they gave me six cents a pound because it was just steel so I got twelve dollars for that but I would have gotten six dollars about adjust them into the shredder so I gained six dollars by separating yeah so if it was a it was a bigger load he would have been a little bit different so was it worth dropping off into my house and you know for six bucks maybe I think so but another thing I wanted to show you is that I've done and did for resale transactions so I sold that sled that I had that I found in the trash from a few videos back I sold a bicycle yep I sold that old farmhouse milk jug thing and I sold a pair of regular relaxed-fit pants that I found in the trash like 20 videos ago I just never listed those so yeah so I sold four items so yeah God thank you for this day thank you for the summer that just being midsummer is just thank you for hanging out with my daughter that's good cuz good I mean you made us in your image and you you care about your kids care about us and so we care about our kids and we awesome is that not only did you make us in your image that literally our kids are in our image that blows my mind the
