because usually depends on which way the winds blowing I believe in the wind the wind blows you put your sail up and go with it and I don't know what I'm singing till it's set down cuz what's down in the well comes up in the bucket and I'm just shocked I can sing I mean it may not sound so good but I have you know I'm a grandpa got 11 grandkids and I had alpacas for the grandkids and I got rid of those heavy her have you heard of Noah's Ark yet well if you go there see how pack as you'll see mine I took I donated four of them because I found out the bigger the critter the bigger the mess and so I have Nigerian Dwarf goats they're blue-eyed they're brown and black their period pretty little things little Nigerian Dwarf and one of the month one of the moms had one one had two and one had three and the one that had three she got tired of three of them nursing now they're old enough to eat on their own but she got a lot of milk and so she wasn't letting him nurse and she is she's walking like this I said it's your fault you don't want to stand still long enough to let three babies have a little taste I said your fault well I got to feeling sorry for because she's straddling some bad instead of taking her out because I'm not supposed to roll in hey she done me in I know what to do I know to put the leash around her collar tie it up hold her up I know what to do but I thought I could get it done quicker and so I'm out there in that barn I get the I get the bucket half-filled she kicks it and knocks it throws it all over me so I got milk all over the side of me I wrestler I throw her down on the ground I said you're gonna get that milk out of you honey if I turn you upside down shoot it towards the ceiling that's what I did for a while until I had milk all over my shoulders my arms everything else and then finally but long story short I got all of that barn junk breathed it right down my lungs and so I'm just really thankful the Lord gave me mercy and grace to be able to sings I've been a hacking in a hacking in a you know trying to get the stuff out all day long and I praise God she did get milk though she wasn't gonna win dead or alive she wasn't gonna win so I appreciate the Lord giving me grace to be able to carry out a tune tonight there was a couple times when I went to hit a note the note wasn't there and I went oh but then I got a note and the note started showing up and then when the note starts showing up and so let's sing another one let's try it one more time praise God brother Patrick tell us something good about your work and Cincinnati or just about the Lord whichever one you want to choose praise the Lord it's good to be here with you definitely different for me because I'm from Chicago and so I have way y'all talk like we don't but it's so good to be here with y'all we went ahead a known pastor Tom now for 30 years and I think he could sing with laryngitis he just does good don't he I tell you I appreciate just just the talent that God has given him and the anointing upon his life to go ahead I told him one time I called the church and they put me on hold and the song was uh no well glory to God ah mm-hmm anyway I said it's the first time I ever went ahead and said on hold and cried I started to weep because just the song was just just so good huh no there's a hundred other ones but it's wonderful I'll tell you on the way home but it's it is so good to be in the house of God you know it's a wonderful thing when you're saved to go ahead on a Monday night no place I'd rather be you know about 37 years ago when I was coming home on a Monday night from work I'd be getting drunk they never had no problem with calling me to the bar you know it's an amazing thing isn't it you know they would have never got me to church but you could have sure got me to the bar one thing you know I was a good sinner it's in that nature isn't it but you know it's it's something they never had to go ahead and tell me no don't leave yet because I stayed there till they said last call and it ain't some well you know what happened when I got born again same thing happened to church amen we still closed the church down at night you know there was eternal lights out when y'all amen amen because it's in our nature that's in our nature and I'll tell you Saints we're seeing a waning from that nature of these days you know when I got in and I haven't been saved that long to some of you I was got saved in 1981 but there was a season there when people still believed in deliverance amen you know we whedon have never believed in evolution but we begin to believe in spiritual evolution we kind of believe you get in church you start becoming a better person you kind of lay down six pack and only drink three and you quit running around with three women you only run around with one you can lay down a few cigarettes and eventually you're finally good enough you're a Christian you see but the difference with that is when you go ahead and you get a good storm come your way that individuals gone a man it's the child of God that when the storms of life hit they anchor down in Jesus Amen when the storms of life command us folks hallelujah we don't look down we start looking up amen and Paul said when I'm weak then am i strong because I know where my redeemer lives I know where my strength comes from come on amen and since I'm telling you we're living instead of tragic times right now I mean you know the scripture speaks to the church especially in the Old Testament and it tells us and there's some times when that church comes around to where there's great wickedness even in the house of God now I know there's none here but in Cincinnati we got a bunch of them but I that when you missed it but anyway you know my pastor well I was before I was with pastor Tom in 1980 way eight I was with a man by the name of brother BH clendenon and he said and boy I tell you when you're young in the Lord you're like oh my goodness such a statement but as you grow and you go ahead and you you see things you wonder that many things he said might have been true he said if they were to go ahead and roll back the covers of the church it would look more like the gates of hell than the kingdom of heaven because the things that goes on in the child of God these days can be very scary the mindsets that people can have about one another that we would never tell a man we're almost afraid to go to the altar because we're afraid people gonna think bad about us amen and it's so the altar it is becoming less and less used we can go ahead and get down there in a few minutes we're back up and gone again because we're gonna think somebody but you know what folks we got to get back to where we're desperate for the touch of heaven and that we're desperate for the touch of heaven Emma we need a manifestation of God again amen we're Pentecostal churches with a with a little bit of the Pentecostal experience anymore come on now amen we gotta get back to where Jesus can be seen again signs and wonders following then they believe him not just in the church house but at the courthouse at the schoolhouse at the grocery store in the neighborhood hallelujah saints of God I believe that God wants to revive his people but we got to get desperate for Jesus to come amen and I'm totally I want to be here I look forward to seeing what God's gonna do tonight so I want to thank you for having us tonight god bless you praise God let's all stand tonight I have some I forgot to load the product because usually when I go places it's a longer distance and I fly in and they mail it it's terrible when you get used to other people doing stuff hitting it and so I have was in my car I had little box of our most recent CD and three DVDs so there's about maybe 25 in there there are ten dollars a piece you get three you get the fourth one free but who wants three of the same thing so if if for have you come back there you three of you buy a three and then give the fourth one two somebodies that'll work that way praise God in second Kings chapter four verses 17 through 21 now Patrick didn't have any idea what I was talking about tonight or preaching on so he's uh he's gonna get shocked to what I'm gonna preach other and the woman conceived and bare a son at the season that Elijah had said unto her according to the time of life and when the child was grown it fell on a certain day that he went out to his father and they were reaping out in the field and he said to his father my head my head and he told one of the young men that were working out there reaping pick him up carry him to his mother and when he had picked him up and taken him he brought him to his mother and she put him on her knees and he set there till noon and then he died and she went up and laid the child on the bed of the man of God and shut the door upon him and went out just for a few moments tonight I want to deal with the subject in desperate need of a miracle in desperate need of a miracle so let's pray father we come to you in the name of Jesus I don't know everybody's here you know them I don't know where they come from but you do I don't know what their needs are but you do God as I empty myself Lord I become your spokesman and I'm asking you Lord let the anointing of God rest upon this house in the name of Jesus let your word go forth and love mercy truth demonstration and power will never fail to give you all the praise and all the glory and the mighty wonderful name of Jesus and the church says Amen you may be seated just for a few moments tonight we're dealing with the subject in desperate need of a miracle in desperate need of a miracle what we have here is one of the miracles of Elijah there are two prophets in the Bible one is Elijah and one is Elijah Elijah was a man a power man of the man that prayed fire down from heaven mightily used of God but he passed his mantle on to Elijah and what we see in typology and in and in types and shadows we see every time you read about Elijah you're reading about the Holy Ghost operating in the church because Jesus came to operate under that anointing as a matter of fact they thought at one time and said use Elisha raised from the dead and Jesus operated he healed the sick he raised the dead he cast out devils and he spoke in the winds and the sea obey his voice but then the scripture tells us that he said it's for your benefit that I go away because when I go away the comforter will come and when he has come God the Holy Ghost one God manifests as God the Father God the Son God the Holy Ghost he reveals himself when he has come he's gonna not speak of himself but he's gonna testify of me and these signs are gonna follow them that believe in my name they're gonna lay hands on the sick and my name they should the sick shall recover in my name they will cast out Devils in my name they'll speak with new tongues in my name they can't read on scorpions and serpents and all manners of evil nothing by any means shall harm them in my name if they drink any deadly thing the Bible said the tongues full of deadly poison very few of us are going around drinking poison but you get a lot of that deadly poison coming out of that tongue and the Bible said you can drink it and you can go right on you can come right on church on Sunday say yeah they put a dose on me today but hallelujah I'm going on anyway because you have power with God it doesn't take away from the supernatural effects of God's provision and God's protection but it just lets us know that God is God in all seasons and in all places so as we read in the Old Covenant we read about what his truth is concealed in the Old Testament but revealed in the new so when we read about Elijah in the Old Covenant it gives us insight on the Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit working in us and through us and with us performing the works of God performing the works of God now we find this very rich woman here the Shunammite woman she's a very rich woman and she says I perceive that this is a man of God she didn't have a Bible didn't have a commentary didn't have a denomination there weren't no badness First Baptist second badness old regular badness primitive Baptists Southern Baptists northern badness there one need church God first church God second Church of God and Mountain Assembly Church of God Church God of Prophecy Church of God of there wasn't no badness no Methodists no holiness no Pentecostal no First Methodist no second Methodist there wasn't anything on the side that she didn't even have a Bible all she had was was the reveals the revealed nature of God through the prophet and the Prophet was coming by and that was the Word of God she said I perceived that this is God coming to visit me she told her husband she said build a chamber don't build it out there in the field we're rich we can put anything we can build him a 4,000 square foot Chalet if we want to down there on the creek and we put palm trees around it but no I want you to build an apartment I want you to stick it onto the house when I walk through my kitchen I want to be able to see the dorm and I'm in the bedroom that apartment is also known as what we call as Jesus said a prayer chamber that's where the Spirit of God is going to meet me and there's going to be a bed a bed of rest there's going to be a table of power there's gonna be a there's gonna be a candlestick of direction and there is going to be a throne chair of praise this is where I'm gonna develop my prayer life as we see it transferred in stan revealed truth to the body of Christ now she's been good she's got this prayer chamber going on as we would understand it she's got the man of God with the chamber right there in the house and and finally God wants to give her a blessing oh he knows she's got a heart's desire or she and her husband are very rich they don't have any heirs the only thing they're gonna be able to do is to choose one of their servants and maybe say this we're gonna leave everything to you because we don't have we don't know who we're gonna leave all of this money all of these buildings all of this property we've got to leave it to somebody and all at once the Prophet said I'm gonna give you the desire of your heart you're gonna have a son Oh ain't that good the Bible said delight yourself in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart he not only pays your electric bill he not only pays your your your mortgage on your home he not only helps us with our food and our necessities but the Bible said even goes you're gonna give birth to that child oh oh she was so happy that baby was born that rich man's house that rich woman somewhere actually we where he's trusted now as a child and he gets to be able to go out with daddy with the Reapers I get to ride with daddy we're gonna go out with field the Reapers are all gonna work I will sit there and I will play and I'm going to watch everybody work today it's gonna be a good time and the boy got out there in the Sun I've been then you sit without the theme about 6:00 in the morning and the little boy he travels with Daddy he got the curly little Jewish hair about making little little green eyes and that almond skin and he just all smiles everybody's looking at it all the Reapers are looking at him everybody's looking at a cute little kid you know he just got it home together he's just bouncing around watching the Reapers and the hot hot middle-eastern Sun somewhere around 10 o'clock begins to beat on his brow he's been running chasing those little ponies chasing those goats running out in that hot Sun and now he has a sunstroke and the pain is so severe he starts crying daddy daddy my head and you know how men are they don't know if it's a headache or he fell down hit his head he told one of the Reapers one of the young men that wasn't too busy he said pick him up carry him to his mother let's see what's wrong with him he's got a headache anybody anybody's got a headache and so the young man picked up the little boy and he carried him to the mother and she just like all the other mothers she picks him up and she goes over in the chair and she sits down it's about 10:30 in the morning but she's noticing this is no normal headache and now she starts praying oh lord help my baby help my baby oh god help my baby the tears begin to run down her eyes she's shaking now this is I don't know what's going on he's he's getting weaker he said mommy my head she said please please God you gave me this child you gave me this child you gave me this miracle you gave me this blessing Hotel don't let nothing happen my baby oh please don't let nothing happen it's 10:30 it's 11:00 it's 11:30 he's getting weaker now he's not talking now his eyes are sitting in his head she knows Oh God it's getting worse something's happening to my baby oh the head now she looks down fingers are cold she looks at him his lips are turning blue his eyes are sitting his head she look at he gone he's dead she goes over that prayer chamber Shalimar akio-san about kaya comes over that prayer chamber where the miracle came forth from where God had given the word from she went into that prayer chamber that was attached to the house pays to have God close to your house pays to live close to God I said it pays Aliya close to God it pays live close to God oh it's a sad thing when tragedy comes your way it's a sad thing when you're rocking in the rocking chair and you see death death in your face and your God there's a long way off because you put him a long way off and he never has been a long way off oh she runs into there she didn't go to the table of power experiencing the divine the house set before you a table in the presence your enemies deadened all over that candlestick of direction didn't go didn't go over to the throne chair of praise she went to that bed of rest that better rest because the Bible said in Isaiah chapter 28 withstand lips [Music] speak unto my people and this will be a rest where the weary shall find rest she said I want I want to go to the bed I want to go where he lays most I want to go where he gets his revelations from God I want to go hold the little boys cold his eyes are set his curly brown hair his olive skin his pretty lies oh how sad and she kisses his little hand kisses his hand as she lays him there rubs her warm face up against that cold skin that's the first thing we read about is when you've experienced tragedy it may be a baby it may be your house it may be your marriage it may be your child in heroin it may be your community it may be you don't know what whatever it is it's something that goes beyond the mind it's bigger than you're lost when you're lost a little money somewhere it's something that goes into your heart that soon you know you really got a problem it's when that child looks you in the face and says I can't get off of it I can't get off of it when you go to visit the jail and that beautiful little girl you put in the sunday school that you put in and yet you put in Bible School and you took to youth camp that made joy come to your house and you got the phone call and the police are staying in there and she's high as she can be in the corner all bound up by drugs your little girl your little boy is now facing time he's in that jail it's when your heart crumbles it's when your heart crashes and you don't know what to do and you don't know where to turn I love preaching in these mountains because this is where faith you hear me people that came out of the mountains my mother's family came out of the coal mining camps of Eastern Kentucky you got to have faith everywhere but when you're a poor living in the mountains and you're raised on chicken feet noodles and smoked neck bone and mustard greens and pig ears and potatoes and pigtails and cabbage and you have to and you've got a great-great grandmother that has to get out in the field and pray for something to eat to raise 16 children and the Holy Ghost moose owner she picks up a rock and hits a rabbit between the eyes and comes shouting Wow look what God has done that'll cause faith to come in hallelujah these mountain women I was raised with um our church was 100% Appalachian migrants that came to Cincinnati for work I heard their testimonies they say I'd be the shed during World War two I'd say God Oh getting I haven't had a letter now for two months she'd hold on they'd hold on to those old dirty stained letters from World War two have a nut all over a dart all over them and the handwriting I would say I'd prayed I got thin I lost a lot of weight faster than pray enough I prayed and I pray God bring my baby home I bring my baby home then those old mountain women go wow he's alive today hallelujah you hear me a lot of faith in these mountains because people in the mountains had to believe for everything not something they had to believe for everything they had to believe her that's why I despise I hate I defy the devil I wish he'd show up tonight I welcome him to come here I like to look the socks off of him he'd have enough nerve to show up I'm not afraid of him to come in these mountains where faith has been to come in these mountains I only know if you all know this or not but you know were the first place that the British were defeated was not was not up in the Northeast it was in the Appalachian Mountains and they said when they got the Appalachian Mountains they couldn't fight with those mountain people they said that's the meanest bunch of people ever seen in their life praise God I'm not talking about mean mean I'm talking about wouldn't give in wasn't about to back up wasn't about to back in but there's faith in these mountains but now the Devils come in he's taken your baby he's taken your prize he's taken your generation he's taken your things away from you what are we gonna do are we gonna sit there and lay the baby down and have a funeral how's that what we're gonna do we don't where to go our grandparents do where to go our mamas do where to go our great-grandparents do where to go the preacher used to know that go nowhere nowhere to go the principal the school used to know where to go the teachers used to know where to go everybody else used to know them to where to go are we gonna sit back up and just let it happen are we just gonna sit back and just say it's over with I enjoyed it while I had it but I don't have it now or we going to fight are we gonna come out the first thing is the tragedy she experienced tragedy and there's somebody in here or somebody in this West Virginia somewhere that has experienced tragedy the second thing we read is she takes him in there and she lays him on the bed of that prophet I know we're too lame I've heard that man pray out of here before and then the next thing is perseverance she says I'm going after I'm going after I'm not gonna stop I'll have to be rebuked by God himself before I'll ever stop I'm gonna find him I'm gonna find Elijah went over to one of the laborers they had all kinds of employees and talked to what I'm saying you go get me one of those mules and you saddle him up and you get you one in front you leave me I'm gonna be sitting on the side of that thing and you drive fast and don't you hold back cuz I'm a woman now if I pull on the rope and tell you to slow down slow down but if I don't tell you to slow down you go as fast as you could go and the Bible said they went galloping up went galloping down that trail galloping galloping until they come to the Mount Carmel where Elijah was and where Elijah and when they get to Mount Carmel there the Bible said that does that the woman was there and he looks and he says oh it's that shunammite woman it's that rich woman it's that rich woman wonder what's up with her she looks desperate she looks desperate God knows if you're desperate or not you talk about you talk about you don't know what to do with your children and you're sitting there chewing on a almond joy and having a mountain Dew in one hand and getting a bucket of chicken and sitting there going to the movies tonight gonna go to the mall tomorrow I'm gonna go on vacation next week so I don't know what to do about my boy and stuff some more stuff down your mouth and keep on going on more places go watching more ballgames turned up give me that remote control let's watch another movie and you think you're no you're not gonna get anything like that it takes something to push it takes something to show that it takes something to say there's only one can help me there's only one that can deliver me there's only one can get me out of this mess there's only one that can I can get deliverance and I'm not gonna stop till I get him out you I'll die on that horse I don't care if I fall down up I'll fall down crying huh I'm gonna try I'm gonna run I'm gonna do everything I can unto I get what I need to get done the lied show up on that mountain he said it's that Shunammite oh my goodness he's sitting to his either service and run find out what's wrong with her asked her if it's her husband's okay ask her if the child asked her if she's okay he said there's something going on she is desperate God knows when you're desperate God knows when you're desperate I said God knows when you want something everybody keeps saying America needs revival America's not getting revival to America once revival God don't cook a meal for people that's full mm-hmm he cooks a meal for people it's hungry now I cook that's what's one of the things I do calms my nerves sometimes is I cook now I cook the men of my mom's side the family have always been known as good cooks and I am a good cook amen brother Patrick hallelujah I can cook country I can cook gourmet but I can cook but there's nothing any more disappointing than for me just spend all my time to spend all of my time I got a tight Elizabeth he's been missing now for four years he's a he's he lived it was from the next county south he come to us when he's 17 went to our private school and I'm basically the only dad he's ever had it's recently the really only home he's ever had he's a good boy it's a miracle about about six foot one or two young man handsome boy and how he God has preserved him out of trouble and he lived in an environment he could have drunk all he wanted to drink slept around all you want to sleep around but he held himself back on his own because he said I watch Christian people and I said they have something I don't have but he still didn't know what it was but he said they got something and I want what they got but anyway Tyler he goes out he goes out and you know he kills turkey he shoots a turkey he's good at it he can take he can take that that kind of bow and cut their head off like that I'm yo smooth that turkey down he goes he can sound like a turkey he come in with that big turkey breast now it takes it now if you ever cleaned the turkey or not getting the buck shout out now this was a buckshot one this one wasn't an arrow and you take that turkey you got it you gotta clean that turkey breast you got to get those book shots out of that turkey breast you gotta get that skin off you got to take it you got to wash it got to put in salt water got to wash it put in salt water there's nothing any more disappointing whenever you have sliced that stuff them and you put all those seasonings on it and you've got to fix just right and then you fry that turkey and oh lord have mercy it's so good you could eat it right now and then I'll make that turn and make that gravy i frightened bacon grease and it's hey it tastes just like pork tenderloin and I put it in there and and makes that good gravy with it and I've got everything fixed and and my one of my sons will come and say hey I've got something to eat mister I don't know anything hey I've got some things oh you like this but gran do you like this to Mike right now and I don't want any pop I like that and you're as well Oh glory to God then she grabbed Elijah by the feet he knew goodwill all wasn't well knew goodwill everything wasn't well and then get hazed I was gonna come and take a stick and Wooper he said no leave her alone this is something big there's something big this is a rich woman this is woman that don't fall on the ground that this is not a woman hey you got it you I know she crossed every cultural barrier there was number one she's a woman she's a rich woman number two she's falling on the ground that's terribly off-limits number three touching a man a man it's not her husband she grabbed him by the ankles she's crossed every barrier there is I'm gonna I need it I need it they can kick me they can talk about me they could lap me they can call they call us holy rollers the feet there's something gets a hold of you that you finally say it don't matter who I am where I am or what's going on I don't care what the neighbor says I don't care if the people around me says I'm sick and tired of going to church sitting like a hoodoo a who doubt wondering who's gonna see me and wonder what they're gonna think about me I don't care what anybody thinks about me that's desperate I don't care what anybody thinks about me I went off of these drugs I went off of this alcohol I want out of this situation I went out of this problem I want something to come to my family I want something to be broken I'm tired of generational curses I'm tired of generation after generation after generation bound by anger bound by fear bound by sorrow my pain I'm tired of it and I want it to break there's got to be something inside of you that once it's so bad you could care less what they say about you I know my my mom one of her sisters we we never didn't have anybody family marry Catholic and we hurt we taught we heard about Catholics did he know anything about a Catholic they all came from the Appalachian Mountains there was no Catholics where they came from then they came up north they found a bunch of them Jeremie Catholics everywhere Northern Kentucky Cincinnati and uncle Jeff was he was dr. boy in the Catholic Church he hold the chalice for the priests and they drink communion and he'd ring the bell bowing and he was the altar worker in a Catholic Church well he he married Darlene and had a wonderful marriage but in that little hole in his church with the hardwood floors and knotty pine walls he was visiting he has a bad place to visit all at once that song says something got ahold of me ha ha oh he went to that altar went to pray but he never would turn loose you know he'd go hoo-hoo like that but that's about as far as it went he you know he'd look around he'd you know okay okay hallelujah hallelujah well he raised his kids were just they were just born just little he raised him in church and his boy my two cousins his boy Jeffrey my cousin David was out in their car and they were sixteen years old and had a car wreck and we went down to the hospital emergency and the doctor come out he told my uncle Jeff he said he said look he said he's he's busted this whole part of his skull his brain is swelling he said we we're we don't know exactly where do the best we can do but he said within the next few hours he said we were either gonna have we don't they started naming all the things and it was all terrible everything was terrible all the Catholic nuns they knew Jeff because Jeff said his family were professors at their university and he had family that were Duns and things and all the Catholic priests are coming around then that's back in the olden days years ago when the nuns were long black and and all you know they had their crosses on and they're everybody's comfort him and and I'm telling you they they they was all you know everybody was nice as they could be they was nice and everybody we saw in that waiting room and when the doctor came in with the priests and the nuns and everybody else and all this little holiness people sitting there being as good as we could Jeff for God he was where he was you know you can get so pressed that you'll forget where you are he turned around in that seat he went Oh God he never prayed like that before he'd hurt his wife and hurt my family but he never had prayed that more the nuns started backing off the priest started backing off the man's got a nervous wreck he's losing his mind he's down there crawling he's praying out loud not this situation but another situation the head of the Catholic Hospital where we live when when Harley hits Lee's son was in there the supervisor she came up to me she was a nun she came to me and she says Pastor Bates we need your help I said what do you need she said that Hensley family they're all from Harlan County Kentucky said that Hensley family said I don't know what to do with him said at 3 o'clock in the morning they go down to the chapel and they pray I said they do she said it's the weirdest sounds you've ever heard she said it's spooky it sounds like whoo oh I said oh they're just prayin she goes all know Pastor Bates I've heard prayer all my life and it never did sound like that I'm telling you what you can get so desperate you don't care what you sound like I've heard people make fun of the old timers pray because when the old timers couldn't get their breath they would hack you don't I mean they say Oh God they hack like that I mean hacking and going on listen I'd rather have somebody hacking full of faith then to hear a polished poet try to give a polished poet prayer to God and have no faith in it uncle Jeff he began to call upon the name of the Lord and he was desperate it was about two hours later all at once that doctor came back and he said I don't know what in the world's happened he said the swelling's going down and he said that skull is starting to go back he said it's amazing what a young body will do it's amazing what God can do now the Bible said all this now all of this has been on the woman's perseverance okay the woman's perseverance now she's gone to the limit she's got him coming to the house he lashed her comes to the house and when he gets there the Bible said he walks in where the child is and shuts the door and that's when we don't know what's going on that can be the most difficult time it's Oh God hallelujah it's the time when you've done all you can do you fell at the feet you've rolled on the ground you've done everything you could do you cry and you've cried you cried you went into you've got the prayer meeting and now all it wants the door shut and you don't know what God's doing behind closed doors and you're a nervous wreck does that mean it's over does that mean he's done does that mean is it final what's gonna happen is he gonna come out of those closed doors and say well God gave you the joy of your heart for seven years that's all you get it's over with and thank God for the seven years you have it's how is it gonna happen it's the unseen that makes us a nervous wreck it's the unseen well we don't know what's on the other side it's the unseen it's the waiting what am I gonna do he's behind closed doors and I don't know what's going on it's during those times as we know in the New Covenant we see she was under the Old Covenant she didn't know what to do but we know what to do in the mean time the Bible said is we wait we wait with faith believing and we begin to thank God God I don't know what you're gonna do this woman went through this to give it to us I don't know what you're doing I don't know what's going on behind those closed doors I don't see anything I don't hear anything there's nothing moving in there she didn't know what was going on she didn't know that he was gonna lay on the child seven times she didn't know that the boy was gonna sneeze she didn't know what was gonna happen she didn't know the process of how God was working it was all a secret to her it was all a secret and it's placed in the Bible because God wants you to know when you don't have any idea what's going on behind closed doors there is activity going on that God stirring who glory to God hallelujah God stirring on your child God stirred on your daughter just a few just a few weeks ago such a Carla's daughter had battled how many years of addiction ten ten long years of addiction she had two beautiful daughters both I'm raised in church ones married into ministers she sings and works in the church and does all kinds of things but the other one had turned a wet head had gotten ahold of the wrong crowd at the wrong time in the wrong situation sir-sir you know circumstance can happen to people circumstance negative circumstances to through stepfathers and things like that things can happen that you don't even know what's going on and now for 10 years she's praying and praying and praying and a few weeks ago I was just standing I said I say this every now and then I said God wants you to stand in proxy of that level and I don't care if you come up here every week I say come up here again I said cuz God's gonna do something and now I didn't know what's gonna be that time you never know when that doors gonna hope it you never know what well glory to God you never know when Elijah's gonna open the door and bring your baby to you you never know when that door is gonna open you don't know what's going on behind closed doors but what God wants you to understand is this when you don't see me working that don't mean I'm laying on the bed when you don't see me working that doesn't mean I'm not doing something God was working the whole time the power of God was working the whole time that witch was dead it stared it stared life in the face it stared like I said I'm not coming out I'm not moving but God wants you to know while you're outside waiting up he's on the inside and he's behind the veil and he's doing something for your behalf she didn't know when that door was gonna open Bible don't tell us how long we don't know if there's 15 minutes we don't know if it's an hour and a half we don't know it's of four hours we don't know how long she's looked at that door look at that door you know what we want to do don't you are you gonna tell me what's going on in there or not Oh preach on brother Bates hallelujah we have a tendency say what the world's going on I grabbed you by the feet I've rolled in the dirt I made myself a public shame I rode that crazy mule III bounced all over that thing I was almost 15 miles riding that mule I wore myself out I worked like a dog and now you're behind closed doors and I don't know what's going on in there I don't know what's going on I put my boy on that bed what's going on I'm walking back and forth I'm not hearing anything I'm getting every thought in imagination I've went through the funeral 100 times I buried him a hundred times I've went to his room I wanted to take his pictures off the wall I want to get rid of this four-wheeler oh I couldn't stand it everything I looked at look like him all I could see was him gone that's all I could see I didn't know and all at once that big-old oriented or oriental door [Applause] still not knowing still not knowing heard the door open but still not knowing until he brought the child to her hallelujah oh god oh god oh Jesus Carla came up and stood that night well I did like I always did I really Carl I can't say I had abundance of faith cuz I said I believe somebody's gonna get touched by style know who it is but least somebody will but I didn't think it was Carla it's been 10 years been behind closed doors for 10 years 10 long years 10 long ones once I get text message Emily called on Jesus before midnight Sunday night [Applause] I guess if I've come to say anything is hold on hold on I don't know what stage you're in I don't know if you're in to grab the ankle stage I don't know if you're in the right um mule stage [Music] I don't ride anything anymore unless it has a key I quit last beast that I rode he hi-ho silver at about three times I was in the mountains of Virginia and they had a horseshoe trail and ran out horses I got about three hundred feet and I turned around I said I'm not riding this horse that boy had a tooth here and a tip there he said you gotta show him who's boss I said this horse will not mind me he said preacher you just kiss they kept on saying over and over God shall we move Mouse and he walked over and he says if you let this horse control you and he got close to about that time that horse kicked him he rolled he shook the dirt off him he goes Lord I guess she does have a mean streak Tony and that horse hi-ho silver and again if you don't without he had to go back to old movies but I put both feet up in there I held on for dear life and when he came down that time I got off that saddle that time the horse took off it took three horses and three men to chase that horse for almost an hour and a half to catch it and he wanted me to ride it up a mountain trail with snakes [Music] now I said all that to say this I don't believe she's riding in a Mercedes for 15 miles there's gonna be times brothers and sisters it's gonna be ever bent but comfortable when you don't even think you're going to get an answer when your mind's telling you this is stupid he's dead you've never heard of anybody getting raised from the dead what are you doing you're foolish woman you think your money can buy you a miracle what are you doing making a fool of yourself riding that mule ever bumped jerking your buddy screaming in your ear telling you what kind of fool you are that's what the devil does but this scripture is given to us tonight to show us perseverance hold on hold on until God says it's over hold on let's all stand together father in the name of Jesus I'm asking you Lord this message tonight has been tailor-made for somebody yes it has that needs to hold on for their children hold on for their family hold on for their city hold on for their church hold on hold on hallelujah you know pastor's wife needs a miracle if she does which one these mics for yours you just sit down here is saying got to go to a miracle working God do you know that just the fact that you ask God is a praise because you don't ask a service station to give you gas that don't have gas and you don't go to the bank and ask for a loan but they don't have money some people think that it's not faith if they ask all the time just the fact you ask is faith when my grandbabies have sent coming to me say Paul Paul Paul Paul I want I want Paul Paul Paul Paul they have great faith you know why Paul Paul's got it Paul Paul's got what they want our asking is a great faith so your praise Cemal saying or however if you came to this service tonight and you're in desperate need of a miracle or you need salvation that's the biggest miracle there is you need your life turned around you need to get off of the crooked path and get on the straight and narrow path that's the greatest miracle you'd ever face is there anybody father in the name of Jesus I'm asking you Lord to release everyone that needs prayer tonight
