[Music] we're at mrc fabrications in kernersville north carolina and she's here didn't exactly make it here under its own power might have failed just a little bit on that but uh we're gonna make lemons into lemonade here now that we are here we're gonna spend the next day and a half making it run putting doors on it so i don't fall out putting the seat belts in and we're gonna drive it home from here so we towed it here on a trailer with the intention of towing my cadillac home from here so this has to run and drive so we can get it home so we can get the cadillac home so we will not fail at this no we're looking at you that's why i can't look at you no the good thing is we will not fail at this we will we don't have a choice there we go we slept last night for the first time and i don't even know how long it's been i slept an entire night i feel great i don't see any reason why we can't do it we get it running today align it tomorrow that's the best thing is we're here at jimmy's shop and he get this is his chassis dave even said that like he can align this thing if we need things we got proper people to help us do it instead of in the garage we've got a shop to be at we're good we're good we're out of the basement into a real shop yeah let's make it happen fender's off that means the door can go on [Music] away now this isn't even a shop it's awesome now i go to passenger side right now andrew is welding tabs onto the roll cage for the harnesses so we actually have seat belts colin is plugged in with a completely different laptop that is functioning so i'm gonna set the fuel pressure and we're not far from hearing this thing finally make noise driving this home it's happening okay i'm gonna increase the fuel pressure 47 48 52 53. that's one whole turn 55 58 60 that's fine 55 sure okay two full turns there you go done oh dude this is happening i know we didn't drive it here but we're driving it home from here and we're bringing the cadillac home so we can start making more videos and progress on that car so excited i'm almost as excited as like the day my kids were born um they got married you know lost virginity that day was good too all these things good days good days oh dude yeah yeah i met you that was a good day yeah unfortunately we had to haul the truck here we ran out of time uh we cut a lot of corners we were tired cutting corners so we got the truck here we're fixing a lot of small issues we had with it right now i'm gonna put the dash bezel in put the dash up and uh hopefully it comes on and works um if you'll notice this is the first bezel we used okay this is the first one we made the one that jamie made is sitting right over there but it doesn't have this cutout for the roll bar there's no holes in it we're in a time crunch so i threw it back in this one it's not the greatest one but we're going to run it right now we'll change it once we get home so that one's all right it's fine better than the one you ate wait i worked on that too part of it yeah i cut the half moon into fire you have credit for this one nice job now part of it i'm just kidding half moon i cut the half moon hey you wanna plug these wires up here cotton plug this up for me do something i'm going home you slept an entire night i know you need six more to catch up easy but today's better than yesterday my gps up my [Music] all right speedometer we go [Music] oh i love it we got electronicals i don't know why the hell y'all have me putting this in here [Music] imagine you spend eight days putting this whole thing together only to have it burned to the ground on day number i put something in and pinch a wire and it just melts down [Music] wow easy on the seatbelt of this i [Music] how many bolts are in that [Music] ah there's two bolts in that the harnesses look like they're mounted perfectly yeah they're in there let's see see there was only two harnesses two bolts with no nuts on harnesses seats harnesses you hear that seats he said two bolts with no nuts on them this truck has a lot of nice stuff in it but i want you to realize that this is zip tied on oh we're not gonna forget our roots yeah this is this is where we're at gearbox touchscreen dash switch panel zip tied that controls the suspension keeps us from dying i did that look and i don't know what these were air vents or gauge holes i'm assuming they're air vents but this little indicator fit perfectly in here i love it we're gonna leave it just like that someday it's gonna end up right here cutting cut into that with that right center the moment we're all been waiting for well the second moment you know the driving that's what we're waiting for but now now we get here make noise all right ready yeah key on where you know andrew's exhaust sounds like good or like trash bags drive like that a triple dog dare you we can actually do a few things but until the part where i run into a few things i can do it all right [Applause] it don't sound like trash bag it don't sound like a trash bag oh man this is going to happen this is going to happen 40 pounds oil pressure dude well that was you know 800 800 rpm it's gonna i bet it sounds like the muscle truck i bet it's just brappy and loud this is so exciting gonna bolt the forge lines on the truck set it on the ground set a basic alignment on it and then we are going for our first drive with the blown lt4 holley efi crazy stainless headers exhaust like i mean this 6xd billet gearbox all these things i wanted to experience is finally gonna happen right now [Music] nascar [Music] there we go [Music] yeah fine all right i have voltage i have oil pressure all right i don't even know how to drive this transmission let's reverse we're doing good oh it's alive idle needs some work oh this is fun all right uh still got oil pressure drives pretty straight i'm in second gear and i'm not on fire yet wow i don't think my clutch is releasing all my clutch is not releasing ah come on the clutch is not releasing just go around me everybody just go around me and i'll i'll go back to the shop and we'll try this again all right we lost the clutch i turn on my hazards but i don't have any okay i wouldn't call that exactly a successful test of uh the c10 when we were in the garage i couldn't figure out i'm like man this thing doesn't want to go into gear and uh i took off pulled it into second everything seemed fine got up here to the stop light put the clutch in when i was in second gear and it you know clutch did not work so the engine stalled and this must be rush hour [Music] [Music] so oh yeah there's a hole in it it's spraying outside of it so can you like this thing let's see um do you know where the bolt is gonna do this thing needs a 90 on the end so it's not wrapping up and around let's do that flywheel so you gotta get the throttle because you can see the hole right there where the bolt hit it on the flex plate or the pressure plate all right so let's get the other end off and get another line with a 90. the 90 on this end and we'll swap them and we get to go put it back in yes all right test drive went as expected we made it about a quarter of a mile down the street uh he lost the clutch pedal completely now we pulled it back to the shop figured out that the pressure plate mixed one of the lines coming out of the transmission and put a hole in it so he lost all the fluid so right now we're pulling the transmission out of the truck fixing the line putting them back together and bleeding it and hopefully going on another test drive so all right it's better gauges are working clutch is working tune-up needs a little work oh my gosh that's aggressive i was barely even on it wow that rubs quick okay still got all the pressure that's good news so far i like the suspension it's just stiff enough where it feels like a race car but it's not beating me up let me straighten out my steering wheel here [Music] this thing's so cool i love this truck that's so good oh the noises it makes are so good i hear the whining of the gears the bark of the exhaust the exhaust sounds like the roadkill muscle truck dude it's incredible all right 197 degrees 40 pounds of oil pressure 15 volts she's good we don't even have a front sway bar and it's really not leaning much it turns really good this truck's so fun [Music] i almost kind of want to put a bed seat in it so i can take both of my kids to school [Applause] oh my god so far so good i'm gonna turn around and go back to the guys you really gotta plug the laptop in it and see what what's happening because i'm not staring at the air fuel ratio when i get into it oh my god wow happy now dude i love that straight cut gear when it's winding like that ah i'm happy you put that transmission in here oh this trance is amazing ships are so like firm just short and precise i'm so happy you got this on the road i'm happy you came up with the idea of let's just crash honestly and do it because it would have been another 10 years that was the only way it's going to get done dude i was i was working on it so slowly to make everything perfect that was just taking forever yeah once you get perfect out of your head and just put a good crew in the garage for a week you can get anything done it was fun this is the reason why you built it that is obnoxious in here and you're not even really getting on it no that's like a quarter throttle are you serious i can't give it more than that it isn't tuned it runs like crap what rpm was that low i wouldn't even pay attention but holy cow i was looking at the cars do you realize you realize how loud this is going to be going down the interstate navigate just keep going up there we got to take a left in about 300 feet yeah thanks that's your definition of navigating huh well that's what you're thinking don't tell me no different navigator it does too you're just not looking at it dude i'm just having fun riding in your truck [Music] so it's in here yeah this is bad let's check rules this is bad we got to do something differently about this uh seat over here though are you getting seats like that one so it took me so long to build the truck the tmi no longer makes this seat which of the two is the most comfortable so i'd have to find another one of these or switch to a totally different seat so is this where we're going yeah og nutrition the original gangster nutrition namely a smoothie that you should never ever talk about that you need a smoothie i want something manly give me a banana smoothie [Music] it sounds so good dude it's a little loud so it's perfect i can't believe we pulled it off the c10 is running eight days ago this was just a chassis my friends got together threw this entire truck together hauled to
