FINAL Wuthering Waves 1.0 tierlist

all right weding wave server is on maintenance so it's time to do the thing that everybody care about but don't actually but the thing that get VI anyway but it's easy to do tearless anyway um this is my hard take opinion on the end of we wave 1.0 compared to especially the beta since we have a lot of adjustment major rebalancing and uh here's my hard take 1.0 tier list at the current moment all right so we can start with the most obvious one which is going to be Arena all right this is a s tier support going into every single team I think there's like no question about this one um and then we're going to start with another really obvious one which is I'm going to make a new tier call dog don't play this all right and it's going to go lingang all right lingang just have so many problem like oh God like I can't ever explain it but this characters is the current character I'm meaning right now and he really sucks dude this character just have so many problem I can make a 20 minute video listing all it problem I'm still going to play him anyway I still have him like level 80 and stuff like that and I'm going to use him to beat the new hologram uh the crownless Hologram so stay tune subscribe to see me on Twitch till you beat him but yeah this character sucks do not ever play this character it's basically where it is at um that being said uh let's move from left to right also I noticed my camera is blocking the tier list okay so let's start with Rover uh I think hav Rover uh this is one of the best characters right now to invest in most mostly because it is cheap um having Rover doesn't cause any resource to like Ascend you don't have to farm any bosses and plus leveling him or her just make a lot of sense because it C across element uh H is also pretty easy to play you just play like EQ e EQ e and then do dreamless very easy to play very big damage uh I think this character is fine to go into the S tier this is a character probably everyone should build and should potentially try to get a five star weapon for which is going to be the Emeral of Genesis right um and then we have Karo um Karo after all the Nerf and stuff I think he just a mediocre DPS now going to the B tier keep mind that beer doesn't mean this character is bad because s a b c d beer mean like he's in the middle so he's a mediocre he's only like a exceptional DPS but he isn't bad either he's right in the middle so I think that's perfectly suit him not a lot to say about kotaru other than that uh Nerf kind of hit him pretty hard um before I was like he was like a tier is where I put him so I think he got downgraded from A to B after all the Nerf and stuff um Jin Jin is actually a pretty decent support I'm not super convinced she's a tier but minimally B tier the thing of Jin is that she still have a good amount of problem resolving around her healing and shooting problem but the thing that make Jin really good is basically the way you play her right now is you build full energy recharge it PR Al you PR Al for grouping press Al for gping and that's it right just she just a old bot essentially uh so in ter of using her for survivability there are some value there but I think for the most part Jin is really just a albot which is still really good especially when you pair it together with Havoc Rover uh the release of Havoc Rover especially on top of all the other buff that Jin got during the beta to the life definitely move her a lot a lot um again I think there's an argument for a for now I think I'm going to put it in B just because like again the healing and shielding are still not quite there yet um Dion uh Dion is actually I think it's the S TI DPS uh Gan is too easy to play he has a lot of utility I think I undervalued him before a little bit but after the rebalancing then his damage was just like exceptional on top of all his other utility so Gian is really easy to play his Parry are like very very easy to come out because he attacked really fast they basically like free Parry but the thing that make Gian really really good is that he has built in grouping so he's not riing on any other character to group for him he has built- in grouping which is just going to be really really good for the tower Flor that have some amount of AOE requirement but not really so you can put Gian into like the AOE FL you can put Gan into the single Tower Flo you can put Gian against like bosses and so he's really good and he's easy to play so I actually think Gian is one of the best character to roll for as a new player but obviously we have one. one patch coming in with the two new five star characters so we will see how it goes since he's our first limited five star characters um Encore okay aror just is way too much damage especially with um y's weapon all right if you R if you have Anor and you r y weapon you're going to destroy content that's really it um previously Encore I think the main thing with anore is that she's hard to play as a team but as a turn up when you do so much damage you don't need a team so that's it uh I think aror is a just too good especially with Ying weapon do too much damage right now um Ying I think this is going to be a hard take Yin I'm personally not convinced to be S tier but I think Yin is a tier uh the thing with yinin is that like her main team with Karo Yin got Nerf it's not a best in slot team anymore um and yeah you compare Yin with like hav Rover you can pair y with like arcore but personally I'm not a big fan of doing those pairing those two like more force and I think a big part of me putting yyan into high tier before is that she had really good future potential on top of having an existing really good team and now that she doesn't have an existing really really good team it made me question like is it really worth rolling Yan just because she has good future potential she's still good right now with some of the characters in the future but just as this character can get better in the future this character can also easily get worse in the Futures with more relevant support that are going to coming out right you can say like oh y will become really good when there's a future Electro DPS that actually work for her yeah but at the same time you can think of it as like the Havoc Rover y pairing is going to fall off as soon as there's a better support for Havoc Rover as well so it kind of go both ways um still a really good character still does a lot of damage in the background I'm just not convinced like oh y is a greatest character in the game you have to roll her no you definitely don't have to I think she's good good enough to be a tier but I'm not convinced that you have to have her in the S tier okay uh got a two new five star characters nothing to say here Dani um Dani I think it's fair to put DJI in a I kind of really still want to put DJI in s to be honest I think the thing about DJI is like she's actually underrated in my opinion uh since I guess Havoc Rover came out and overtook her a little bit the thing about DJI is that she's easy to play I know a lot of people are thinking wait how's this character easy to play you get like hit in you get one shoted but the thing about DJI is like there isn't a hard concept of like rotation Dani is like on demand damage if you do any of the hard content of DJI she's going to be so smooth to play just because like you don't need to care about like doing a full team rotation you just attack attack attack and then if you need a pair you can stop attacking for a bit attack and then attack again where if you're playing a team that require rotation like hav Grovers and sometimes it's a little awkward to like Dodge and stuff while in the middle of your rotation cuz you're like oh I need to do my nean combo right now or it's not going to get the buff on har Rover stuff like that um D just don't care D just attack all the time very good against especially MapIt uh you know you just dodge dodge counter and stuff like that so I think there's an argument for doni to still be S TI but it's not the most straightforward to play especially compared to these characters that just just does a lot of damage uh and especially Havoc Rover that overtook the Havoc character throw so I think is fine for her to be in the a tier uh Alo didn't end up being as good as I thought the thing with Alto is like he was pretty smooth through rate as a arrow support but end up not needing him for now uh there's not really a Arrow team that use Alto alto's kind of fall off into the void of either really like him and play him as a main DPS or you just don't play him at all so I think it's fine for to put Alto in the tier okay uh chiia I think chiia can easily go into the a tier this character got buff a lot since the beta she does so much damage now which I'm glad by the way because this is the threee fourstar characters with really good single Target with really good AOE I think sh is so underrated right now uh obviously her main drawback is like she kind of Parry but Chi is like Dy you don't have a strict rotation you just attack she's really really good in most scenario other than one where you heavily have to par which is like bit or against really really really really aggressive boss which is again bit but then like if you get a brick to do like Dodge counter damage chick Dodge counter damage is actually like unfairly balanced it's like that scaling on her Dodge counter is actually not balanced so CH is good over on every scenario plus the fact that she's range means she's actually easier to play with higher DPS of time so uh I really like chiia right now uh this is going to be the next character that I'm playing a lot so again if you want to see chicka content subscribe uh but I think chick is one of the most underrated DPS right now especially since is's a free fourstar characters right um taii taii actually got a lot better since beta I personally haven't really have a lot of experience with taii but I think she based on what I've seen is going to go into the see here tii has the potential to be like a quick swap Shield support uh I think the only bad thing about taii is she's slow right now uh taii biggest problem is that she generate conserto really slow you might need like two three long rotation to generate conserto so you don't really get the benefit but quick swap toi is actually pretty good as a support uh you force an intro onto toi you get three stacks and then you hit three times and you get a shield and that's that's all you do so taii is actually one of the best shielder we have in the game right now but it just really hard to put her into a team that require that shielding plus she's like a little hard to she's a little slow essentially that's the thing um I think toui has potential to be fit into a team in the Futures and when we do get a team like that I can easily see her moving up into the tier as like a really good shielder support but for now I think she is fine as like this character like is not really character I would really play right now I would just like basically Ben her until there's a need for her uh Mor m is Easy A this character is really strong character really easy toate de Mory pairing one of the best pairing in the game you just like E Auto e and stuff like that uh to get your conserto up right uh Mor is relatively Universal I think the only thing that make Mory like not asked here is the fact that he only buff heavy attack damage which is most unused by any character that's not Gan and I can't really see it being useful for the future as well but his base skit is just so good he's easy to use you can put him into like a lot of different team he just kind of work since you're going to be basic attacking in a lot of Team uh so Mory s tier top DPS it's interesting how see to see like most characters actually lean toward the top which is uh a good thing about the game but too bad uh we have some actually the rest of the characters are pretty good as well um yanu okay Yan Wu I think is another sleeper fourar characters I really do still want to put this characters into 18 this character actually got Nerf a lot I realized I should have put him into my top five characters like that got nerfed in wedding wave but his characters has a scaling that got nerfed by three times he has a 60% defense scaling it got Nerf to 20% and he's still really good I think yanu is one of the most sleeper characters right now potentially because you need to level him to get the defense base STS but y will Breck stagger so fast which is like invisible DPS people say like oh his DPS is bad but his DPS is actually really good for being a character that doesn't need Feld time plus getting more staggers is more DPS that is not calculated on a speci like that so my hard take is going to be Y is going to be a tier you know what boom right I if I was to be save I'll put him in the B tier but honestly my hot TI is at this character a tier uh by by is a by is a good healer to use but you don't have very to be honest byi still have the same core problem is that she's a little slow not really that slow you just like auto four times click E Auto a few time again to get your outro um but just basically power CRA by Verina unless you don't have Verina and right now even for the tower for like basically all the low level you don't need a Healer so B is like only really play if you really really really need a Healer for some reason and you can't afford to use Verina which is like little oddly specific like Genji can put into a lot of different scenario cuz like only need grouping but by is only really like oh I really need a Healer and I can't afford to use Verina because I need her for the higher Flor and you still need to heal her for the lower Flor so yeah um I don't know I think I think her main value is just like she's the only Auto healer in the game otherwise I think this character is actually not that good and I would probably drop her to C if if you're like one of those people who really really don't need a Healer I think I've like never played his characters unless you absolutely have to kind of thing uh sanwa okay San is another I I don't think she's an S tier I think San is a big problem that nobody really talk about and that is you need the enemy to not move to hit the second part of her pop right I think San could be S here if you can hit everything all the time but that's not true s has a really good outro which Bo basic attack and almost every single character is going to use basic attack and she rotate really fast really good conserto build up which make her like a s here except for the fact that like you just can't hit her damage half the time if the enemy is oile you can't hit her follow up with the uh pop on your ice on your skill as well as your ALS which l so much damage in the perfect condition or like if you're against a slow enemy that doesn't move a lot and you can make sure you hit your pop every time that easily SED but I think because of that you lose so much damage by not hitting the pop that unfortunately go into the a tier which is still really good I honestly do really want to put this character in s tier uh yangyang yangang don't have a particular Ro right now she could be a good little budget support for like floor with little lesser enemy if you don't have genin uh also decent outro to generate energy um overall a pretty Fair characters not exceptional in any way but uh yeah I don't know y a pretty fair St DPS a for Slaughter if you do decide to put her into their party and finally we got Spector Rover so Spector Rover is really good and I think spectal Rover is still really good but the main problem with spectal Rover is like why you would you play spectal Rover when you can play havic Rover so I would love to put spectal Rover in a tier but I I think Spector Rover got power crab by Havoc Rover going to the be here of like I honestly would didn't really play this characters again these two character share Viger in Tower so that's a I think if they didn't share Viger Spector Rover can easily be a tier just as a good standal DPS that also cheap to build cuz you're building cic Rover anyway and it show the weapon but right now you have to choose between the two so I think Spector roer definitely need a tier drop and then uh Spector Rover this doesn't really have a lot of teams right now there's just not a lot of big reason to play Spector Rover as a main DPS as a sub DPS but as the individual characters I think shoh he is really good so uh yeah this is how we end up after the rebalancing which I kind of don't really like putting a tier list like this because every single character is at the top and I think this doesn't convey like meaningful information like when you're a new player you're like how different is like d compared to a hav Rover and you're like just one tier difference is not a lot so like it doesn't really say anything when all the C characters is bundled toward the top um so if possible I would like to like spread out the tier list a little bit but as it currently stand because we don't have a lot of characters most character are actually like really good in their own specific scenario so um I think it's fine for now which is a good job to crew games C games definitely made a really good balance to all the characters other than this one all right this is why am I
