from but I want you to know that you're welcome to here and all times I praise God for what it is the Lord is doing around this place one week ago tonight a man we came we came looking for God to move came looking for God to do something and God did what we asked him to do a man did he do it for anybody amen God did it hey man I've been getting testimonies and text messages and calls and amen every since last Saturday night I never what God can do a man if you believe it God's got the power to make it good and I'm not gonna take a lot of time tonight look at somebody telling me Perry is a word from the Lord Amen in gentleman I'm a lover of the Word of God I love mine and I got mine with me you got yours don't you come on hold that power of pain God because everything else is going down but what but the word of the Lord I told you you got to learn to get excited at the word of the Lord this is God speaking to every one of us don't take this a man as a Scheffer word this is God speaking to you amen he means you when he says whosoever he's talking to you when he says if thou wilt he's talking to you are you hearing what I'm trying to tell you amen he's a person of God and he speaks to us through the pages of his word I want to talk to you tonight something that's been on my heart amen the book of changed the second chapter he met an old familiar passage of Scripture and I told him Wednesday night in Garland Amen have you been in church in a little time and been preaching and at the time after a while everything in the Bible becomes an old familiar passage Amen but I want to call your attention to it a man changed the second chapter and I want to begin reading at verse number 17 through verse number 20 and then let's go to verse 26 that's James chapter number 2 verse 17 18 19 20 and then let's consider verse 26 and when you haven't saved man read what the Bible says even so faith even so faith if it had not worked AHA is dead he's talking now he's just given a discourse and what it means and the importance of action as simply Amen opposed rather to simple words he says if somebody is cold and you simply say to them be warmed what have you really done for them if they are hungry and all that comes out of your mouth is I sure wish you would be filled how does that better their situation he says if they are cold and you can warm them by your action give them something to make them warm if they're hungry and you can feed them and alleviate that problem then give him something for them to eat he says just like in the words do nothing to remedy the problem naturally even so faith if it hath not works is dead being alone because it's all by itself uh-huh yay yay a manse may say a man may say thou has faith uh-huh and I have worked I have works show me that face uh-huh without thy word without that word and I will show thee my faith by my word I will show you my faith a man by my work three thou believe is that there is one God you believe that don't you I'll do it haha he said you do well the devil's also believe and tremble uh-huh but without no I will bow no old vain man that faith without work that faith without works is dead is dead read verse 26 for as the body for as the body without the spirit without the Spirit is dead so faith uh-huh without works is dead also just like the moment the spirit departs from the body when the spirit leaves the body that body is now dead as long as the spirit is there it is still a living breathing organism but the moment the spirit leaves it is no longer a person it is now referred to as the body or y'all hearing me that means something drastic has just taken place when people die amen and breath and spirit leaves the body we don't say where is he we asked people what funeral home has on the body because that's all it is at that point it's just simply the body it has no animating activating features it is simply the party but it is dead he says it's that same way you have faith but you know having the works your faith is dead just like back and what good is a dead faith you know you got a lot of people and everybody now is a bragging about my faith hear the words coming out it's got to move it has to pick you up exercise you have because you know Saturday night we came here a manner we preach don't sin and sickness in the house and exercise biblical faith and come up I believe that God can touch everybody I believe that God can heal everybody amen the Bible says that he went into some cities and when he went in he touched and he healed every single one of him but it talks about the children of Israel coming out of Egypt the Bible said there was not a feeble one of them in the whole bunch that means that God kept everybody are y'all hearing what I'm trying to tell you and so what I'm saying to you tonight is that God is still that same kind of God that's every one of us is gonna get you some results but you listen to what I'm trying to tell you what does God require of me is because we never seen foolish you the reason why just ask what are you doing differently that's what I want to talk about tonight what are you doing differently last week we came looking God looking to God to give us a remedy amen for our issues whatever issue it was and I know that last week we had some here that was sick in their bodies you had some that was sick in their minds you had some that needed God to work a miracle in the family now but so many people look at God's miracle working ability as something that removes the human responsibility from the life of the believer people think that because God can heal he has nothing better to do than to keep healing your body and so we keep getting ourselves in situations we keep getting ourselves in places in positions where we constantly have to pull Oh God and ask God for healing but brothers and sisters can I rebuke you in a nice way tonight the people did not say that God wants to keep on healing us he says blood I wish above all things that thou me now if you are in that means you are in some people they don't have nothing to do with the stuff that's going on in their bodies you got some people that were born with all kinds of sicknesses you can do anything that's about it ask them what are you doing differently but I want to know what you're doing then jog and quiet again you got a exercise yo up so just like his sons and daughters just like salvation changes the way you walk it changes the way you talk it changes the way you think it changes the way you behave y'all get quiet then faith oughta change the way you had faith oughta change what you do it ought to change your behavior why y'all here and what I'm trying to tell you amen faith has to manifest itself some kinda way so he says you can tell me you have faith but you ain't got no works but I'll show you my faith by what it is that I do hate must manifest itself some kind of way faith puts reputation on the line Lord Yahweh when Jesus says to a fig tree you are dead and no man will eat fruit of you anymore forever let's say just spoke that in the day but when he said no more forever that meant anybody come in tonight to eat off you either he said forever that's it nobody not today not tomorrow not tonight they'll never eat fruit of you ever again and from the moment Jesus spoken what if some matter what about a tree that night and for some fruit off then he would no longer have the complete reliability of his word but when Jesus said it he sat it in a way where disciples heard what he said put his reputation on the line but he believed it and the next day when they came can you imagine what would have happened if that fig tree wasn't writer because we doesn't listen your faith gotta manifests itself some kind of way it must manifest itself and something that you do that means if you believe that God is a healer you got a hack like he's healed your body now getting quiet cooker you got a hat right you believe that he has done what you need him to show itself in the way you behave in the way to show itself in the way [Applause] [Music] [Music] crying out to go see a whole lot of people that just went back to the same old Saturday night routine they came because they were looking for relief well y'all gettin quiet here but they didn't come because they were ready to take whatever miracle God was gonna give them and allow that miracle the cause shift in their loyalty to shift in their faithfulness y'all get quiet if you were here last week and God pick a wheelchair do you mean that they're sweet that's a matter tell him neighbor somebody needs to hear about what God has done but how can we tell them when we've gone back to our same old routine but if some matter on your way their seat and ask them what are you doing differently it's more than just coming to church one Saturday night and then God touch you what the miracle and well you know it should it should be that the one that he does the most for it's the most grateful but he could walk and people to turn right around and say thanks for the miracle and go back to their same old routine what are you y'all getting crying again what what what are you what are you doing differently is it just maybe perhaps a peradventure what was wrong with you God allowed it to happen even if he didn't do it to you to bring you to a place well you felt the need to draw Carlos in his presence is fullness of joy and his right hand there are pleasures forevermore what if God allowed certain things to happen to us to cause us to love being in his presence just wanna spend time with us just just want us to come to church just just want us to lift our hands and and maybe that's the only time some of us give him any attention and you had that problem and you came and he showed you what being in his presence could do for you and he did it but didn't you turn right back around and said things for the memories and walk right back coat and went back to that same old routine what are you doing differently let me hasten almost here when God works on your back something has to change when when when wouldn't bought Emmaus knew that he had gotten the attention of the Christ when they said to him the master called it for me the pebble said when he got up in faith he threw out his coat that coat that signified to everybody that this is a blind man that you're dealing with he got rid of that coat that said i'm black y'all ain't said nothing cast it over to the side that's and say I'm doing this in the first place with gratitude I never need you to do this again what are you doing differently what we want and I see it we want the kind of faith to believe that God will remove every harmful effect but not ask us to do anything that sacrifices our pleasure and our selfish desires God protected you in that car wreck you're wrong dad I'm in a hurry okay where you were speeding didn't have a seat bet on went through the windshield and got up looked at your car and said Harlan told his car what am I gonna do God spared your life and you mean to tell me you get right back in that car and do the same thing you know what I know about people that have been in wrecks I'm talking about significant tricks see I was in one when I was a teenager I was in one and it took me months to even be comfortable enough to get back behind the wheel of a car when people I've been in wrecks like that then the kind of people you're going around on the freeways honking your horn talking about Sunday driver that ain't no Sunday driver this probably somebody that just come through a very traumatic experience it was so bad I wasn't Drive and I remember one day opossum ever came to me he said listen now you can't do this and we were at the store we came out the store he gave me the keys that you drive home because I had a reservation about getting back behind the wheel of any paper car after such a serious circumstance experience you behave you don't keep doing stuff after you've had a significant experience because now you're doing everything to keep you from ever being in that place again I would ride in the passenger side and whenever people look like they were running up in front of the car in front of us I feel that hitting the brake trying to stop the car and even though I wasn't in control I was still trying to keep that from ever happening y'all Wayne said you know how do is you've been in something serious and now you scratch it and grab it onto the armrest now everything in you says you don't ever want to be back there again and God hears you into disease out of your body what are you doing now to make sure I don't find myself there again because if you expect that God's gonna heal you for you to go back to your same routine you don't understand he doing what they were doing never came back to even address him but when this man-made worshipping the Lord a part of his new behavior jesus said to him you are now made everybody else just gotta heal it but you because you made worshipping a part of your behavior not only are you gonna be here but you don't get back what you lost but y'all here and what I'm trying to tell you got moves I gotta do something differently and if I do something differently not only am I gonna be here but something else is coming my way I'm gonna get stuff that I love no just one guard to take the sickness out of my body I wanted to put the weight back on me y'all getting too out of here I don't want God to just stop this disease from spreading I will him to make me like I used to be I want him to feel my face back while y'all listening to what I'm trying to tell you when you make wash up a part of your behavior he'll always add something extra to you true gratitude results in you not only doing differently but acting differently not just actions but behaviors not just a change in your lifestyle even a change in your closeness with the Lord you've got to help me this disease ever coming back it can't be that the only reason why I came to church was for him to remedy my problem but not bring me to a closer place with him so for those of you that God worked for last week for those of you that have the faith to believe that everything good that you needed him to do he did it he's working it out right don't go back to that same hold of routine well you're gonna be when it's time for service you ought to be in the presence of the Lord how many of you willing to go back to where you were before the Lord healed you how many of you want to go back to where you were before he touched you built you up there's one thing to get clean there's another thing to stay clean it's one thing to be healed it's another thing to stay healed you got to do something different some people just come for relief but they go back to that same old unfaithful behavior but I'm saying to you you got to do differently some people walked out last week saying I don't differently and I told you then healing and faith has nothing to do with how you feel faith rejects everything but the Word of God faith only responds to the Word of God in how you feel is different from what the word says you side with the word and forget how you I told you then I'm not healed because I feel healed I'm healed because the word said that I'm here and as long as I confess the word I'm good you know what Jesus says you can have whatsoever you say and you got some people left the service child I'm still sick and they are you know why because they said they were sick but I don't care if you felt the worst pain you've ever felt in your life walking out of those doors he said you can have whatever you say he asked whose report will you believe somebody said I believe his report over the doctor's report I don't believe his report over the lawyer's report but do you believe it over your own report because if you're not careful your walk I've given a different report than what the Bible said I went through and then elder laid hands on me and I went home and got sicker than I ever been holidays of my life have to do with the fact that the word has declared you to be healed you know if that's all it takes then nobody is ever gonna believe God again cuz all the enemy got to do is hit you in your body and just one of the pain just take all your faith for healing the way I believe God can do it I believe holy God can't do it and you come down here your faith is that a 100 then all the devil got to I hit you with a pain in your side and let go your faith coming down well I thought he did it who said you let a pain convinced that he was not a God of his word that's all it took was a pain a headache Steff this that's all it took that's all it take every time you want a threshold of a healing the devil is gonna make sure you feel that same stiffness that same sharp pain that same y'all can cry that's all and he knows whenever that pain show up he's gonna bring your faith from a 100 all the way down here that's all you got to do is just give you a pain that's it and that's what causes you to back up off or believe in the Word of God I'm not healed because I ain't got no pain I went to a woman's house once then my mother went to pray for my mother stood on one side of the bed and I was on the other and she said apostle she said I never thought I could be so sick and not have a pain nowhere she said the doctor said I'm dying she said I am sick and I never thought you could be this sick and not have a pain so are people without pain and they still sick and just because you got a pain don't mean you sick it has nothing to do with how we feel I know people that woke up feeling good they were normal and died before the Sun went down didn't have a pain nowhere but something was still going on on the inside so pain or the lack of it does not indicate healing or not what declares healing is faith in what he has said if you believe that word I don't care how your body feels I tell him all the time I am what the great I am says I am if he said I'm healed I might be walking doing something wrong everything on the move yeah yeah they don't mean nothing to me how you doing because it has nothing to do with what I feel it has everything to do with the Word of God but if I'm expecting something big I got to do something different extend to your feet what are you doing differently how was your life and your lifestyle changed if you want God to do something for you you gotta be willing to least do something for yourself I need God how's that I need God to do this and I'm scared I know people right now I've talked to people who I'm terrified because the doctors told them to wait that's on their body it's not good for their health your heart is under strained it's under stress and this ain't good and that ain't right you need to correct this if you just try to walk a mile and a half of 2 miles a day 3 miles a day you could live a long healthy life that's asking too much but you want God to heal your heart for what so you can go back to eating a dozen eggs now y'all getting quiet what are you doing differently what you got going on that you can't change that to him better yourself see I told you the old church used to say things like God helps those that help them sell all that ain't in the Bible but I mean I could kind of see the logic in it when James says faith without works is Dave [Music] if he requires you to have works with your faith and faith then gets you what you need from God then in a sense he doesn't help those who help themselves what are you willing to do differently [Music] we need God to do this a possibly need God but last time you exercised I want God to do it I need God to bring it down the last time you walked got a big house and a big backyard you won't even walk around your own backyard it's dangerous at that kinkle we're all gonna have history it's just dangerous let me tell you something if you really meant business you would walk from your living room to your bedroom through your bathroom how do you close it and come back out again you'll do what you need to do amen if you were really serious about doing some stuff you find a way to do a pull your car to own garage and walk around your own garage if you want a walk you can walk but we don't want to do nothing but we want to come to the prayer line and every time some going rogue possible would you please lay hands on me and believe God I got this this this pain in my knee every time I get up I hit my knee pop well why don't you walk lose a little weight maybe it's just a whole lot of pressure on your knees all the devil afflicted my body I rebuke you this ain't even between me and ever right now I rebuke you the devil ain't got you going out amen I hop every night that's not the devil look at y'all getting quiet you've got a whole package of Snickers and Reese's in your nightstand and then blaming the devil got a dividend and then got me bound up with sugar listen why did we start calling that sugar I got sugar no you don't but you won't got to heal you of diabetes so you can eat whatever you want what are you doing differently you won't God to give you a car that you don't qualify for but have no intentions to go and pay down all your debt why would he give you the car you're not even trying to better your own credit and the next time you need a car you know what you're gonna do come through the pride on again upon my credit is bad but I need God give me a new car now I prayed last time when your credit is bad I'm not praying twice go out there and pay your bills and come back again and then thou shalt have a new car in Jesus name what are you doing differently you're just talking about believing but I see nothing different going on is this all somebody here tonight you need to be saved you can come too if you need the Holy Ghost you can come you need deliverance this is deliverance night come on sometimes we need God to deliver us from thinking crazy you know God can deliver you from that making just prone to make bad decisions God can touch your mind if there's another why don't you come in first listen I don't care what you need us come is there anybody here at this altar that need to be saved and filled with the
