sunday school is always always always a wonderful treat for us sunday saturday and tuesday night services begin at 7 30 p.m with the gates opening at 6 30 and prayer service is held every tuesday and saturday night at 7 pm also we are practicing social distancing and we do encourage you all to wear masks um our water fountains are not operating at the time and we ask that you do not try to use them i'm calling your attention today to the gospel of saint luke amen saint luke's gospel just a little thought can i talk to you today amen out of the pages of the word of god saint luke amen the 10th chapter and i want to call your attention to the first and the second verse that's saint luke's gospel chapter number 10 verses 1 and 2. amen and when you have it say man and the bible gives us this intelligence after these things the lord appointed other seventy also and sent them two and two before his face hear this into every city and place whether he himself would come so wherever he was going to come he sent them to prepare people for his coming therefore said he unto them the harvest truly is great but the laborers are few pray ye therefore the lord of the harvest that he would send forth laborers into his harvest the bible said he appointed other seventy also outside of the 12 that we know of he appointed he appointed 70 also the bible says and he sent them two and two before him into every city and every place whether he himself would come therefore he said unto them the harvest truly is great but the laborers are few pray therefore the lord of the harvest that he himself come and he said the harvest is great but the laborers of you pray ye therefore the lord of the harvest that he would send for the laborers into his harvest and how many of you know today that god is still calling for laborers to go into his harvest just look at somebody on the left and the right and just tell them go get them look look at somebody else and tell them go get them they're there and it's a whole lot of them find somebody else i don't care if you got to turn around and look behind you just tell somebody go get them go get them go get them hey man they're waiting somebody is waiting on you clap your hands and give god praise when we look at the genesis account of creation so many people uh stop at the understanding that god created us simply to fellowship with him but when you look and you look and you discover the scripture you'll you'll see that god actually created man not simply for fellowship but he created him to do something he created us to work you know you got a lot of folk hey man they don't believe that they just come all they want to do is shout i'm created for fellowship let me just shout and then they leave the house of god and don't go out and say nothing to nobody about the goodness of the lord but in actuality god created us to work now y'all looking like y'all don't like to work he created us to do some stuff and i think one of the tragedies of our time amen lies in the fact that there are people that have not taken on the mandate to do the work that god has called us to do amen it is sad it is it is something actually to be detested that you have people amen that have been saved and sanctified and have no mind to do the work of the will of the lord i want you to understand today that since god has saved us and delivered us amen we especially ought to be those that have a mind to go out there and to present the same gospel to somebody else that don't know amen we are sitting in the four walls of our churches now amen we're having a great time we're shouting we're enjoying the music amen we're enjoying the word but in actuality what god does for us in the sanctuary should pick us up and move us amen to go out and to do the work of the law it is so much more to this than just shouting amen and looking big in front of each other you know we come now hey man and we're coming together to look at each other look big look wonderful amen but then we leave out of here and we're like that man that beheld his face in the glass we forget what man of man we are amen we are the children of god and what god does for us in the sanctuary he intends for us to take this outside of the four walls of the church amen and go out there and bring in a harvest amen it's time for us now to stop being lazy we've got so many lazy people amen they'll sit up and they'll expect god to do the greatest thing for them amen but then they won't even go out and tell nobody about the goodness of the lord you know it's time out for us now complaining about society you've got some people amen all they do is post about stuff amen they don't go no further than that that is the extent of their involvement amen they'll post about it they'll talk about it hey man we look at all the things that are going on in society we look at all the people that are amen acting crazy and acting like they ain't got good sense hey man you know what people are doing now we are talking about them amen we're having conversations about him but when was the last time amen we took about ourselves the mandate to go out and to make disciples of all men don't you realize amen the rapist the murderer of the liar the faith even all of these people that we talk about amen do you know that if they were saved and on the lord's side amen that they would be completely different these are even people that god can use but instead of going out and winning the laws amen we're talking about him amen we're acting as if the world amen is just on its way to hell without any hope but i come to tell you that christ in you amen is the hope of glory amen what god has done on the inside of you amen that's what gives you hope that's what gives you a right amen and the privilege of getting up and going out and doing the work of the lord and just like god is hope amen and in your life understand that there are people out there now that are in the thrones of despair and if somebody were about to go to them and tell them amen that jesus saves don't you know amen that those would be soldiers added to the battlefield just like god in natural creation amen created us to do work amen god in spiritual recreation amen is calling us to the work of the kingdom look at somebody and tell them neighbor go get em go get up amen and what god is looking for now amen it's those that will have the expectation that now that i am saved now that i am on the lowest side i can get up from here and go and do the work of the lord it seems now that so many have forgotten the mandate that god has given to the believers we see it amen in mark 16 and 15 he says go into all the world amen preach this gospel to every creature the people out there amen that needs to know amen a man named jesus as a matter of fact they taught us that from our earliest amen experience in church that everybody ought to know who jesus is y'all don't get quiet today i said everybody ought to know who jesus is amen you know we take it for granted because we grew up in sunday school and because we amen have been in church because we carry the gospel we think everybody knows what we know i'm reminded when we were young i would stand with my aunt amen and a young man from across the alley came over to the house amen we were sitting there eating an apostle murray amen had come and dropped out some videotapes that's how long ago it was amen a videotapes about the life of jesus christ and this young man sat there amen and looked at these videos about jesus while we were eating and he looked at my little cousin and he said who is that man and he said that's jesus you mean you don't know who jesus is he said i don't know who is that and we started telling him about the jesus amen do you realize there are still people right now that have never heard of a man named jesus we're sitting amen we're talking about the second coming amen and i heard reverend lee say there's a lot of people in the world that haven't even heard about the first coming year amen it's up to us to go out there and tell people that jesus is real as a matter of fact it was a couple years ago amen there was a young lady that came in from bahrain she sat right up in the risers on resurrection sunday morning and after the service was over she came down to talk and she said you know this is my first time ever being in any church this is my first time ever hearing anybody preach at all i've never heard this stuff that you all are talking about today but i enjoyed it and i'm going to research it and i'm going to start to study upon what i heard today do you know there are people in this world that have never even heard about jesus christ and here we are with all of this experience and all of this shout and all of this word and all of these services and we come in here he been dressed up looking big and looking wonderful and then we leave right up out of here and won't even tell anybody about what the lord has done for us but i come to tell you today amen everybody ought to know who jesus is he said if you're going to own the world you are preparing people for the return of the lord you're preparing them for the coming again of jesus christ and let me say this to you you don't have to be licensed you don't have to be ordained you know you don't have to sit in a pulpit you don't have to carry a title amen to carry the gospel of jesus christ can i tell you all you have to do is to be a witness to the lord and you've got a lot of people saying but brother herman i don't know amen what i'm going to tell people what will i tell them when i get there can i tell you your own testimony is the greatest sermon that you could ever preach lord ain't got no help on sunday morning i said if you know what god has done for you if he brought you out of darkness into his marvelous light if he ever had to pick you up how to sin and shame and establish your feet on a solid foundation i come to tell you you got a sermon you can preach it every day everywhere you go down to work everywhere what y'all giving what i'm trying to tell you somebody want to tell the world about jesus christ and i wish i could find about 28 of you to look at somebody and tell the neighbor go get them that's a whole world out there and people are dying without god and they're just waiting to hear somebody tell them that jesus loves them and that jesus saved do you know there are people in this world now amen there's suicidal amen the devil has convinced them that nobody cares about them that nobody loves them that nobody wields the best for them and do you know that if you go to him and tell him that jesus saves how many times did they know that somebody loves them it'll pull them back from the edge of suicide can i talk to somebody today maybe you're sitting up in the house of god can i tell you that jesus loves you i don't care nobody ever told you that i don't care you're walking around with low self-esteem and amen are unhealthy self-image how come they tell you that jesus loves you and you don't have to clean yourself up in order for him to love you he loves you so much he already died for you oh god and now he's saying come unto me with your nasty self come unto me with your drunk self come unto me are y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you whosoever will let him come think your kind spirit i know god's not looking amen for you to get yourself together he wants you to come so he can get you together hey man you've got some folks saying i've done too much can i tell you you haven't done so much that the lord don't love you oh no i don't care if you murdered everybody amen god still loves you and that's what makes him so much better than people he can love a rapist y'all haven't got quiet he can love murderers he can love the hypocrite he loves liars and thieves he loved you always saying nothing he loved molesters look at y'all ain't talking here i come to tell you he loves everybody and there's nobody beyond the reach of god's love and that's the reason why all of us are here now amen we're not here because we were so good we're not here because we had it together the only reason why we're here is because god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have an everlasting life and i come to tell you today god is the respectable person if he saved me he can save anybody look at somebody tell me if god can save me god can save anybody a lot of people that are dying without god and they're just waiting on somebody to tell them that jesus loves you and that jesus saves that that there are so many people that if they don't find hope they gonna kill themselves and they'll take themselves out of here because they think that the world is so bad it's so cruel that it's not worth living but can i tell you amen jesus christ lord have mercy it's my reason for living i don't care how bad it can hear me now sons and daughters amen young lady that's been talking about suicide let me tell you today oh god it's not worth it if you don't think nobody loves us because nobody introduced you to jesus can i tell you he loves you just like you are and you don't have to die amen because this world is so cruel and the devil's telling you to never get better can i tell you that when i found jesus christ i found my reason for living and i don't care how bad things get i don't want to kill myself i want to draw closer to the lord because when people don't like me he still loves me and when folk wouldn't give a dime for my life i want you to know he died for us could not preach to somebody here you don't have to think about suicide look at somebody tell them no suicide here oh he loved me too much for me to go out like that and if you're just turning your life over to jesus he'll love you and he'll love you the right way you don't have to let people use you and abuse you just enjoy some companionship and and some attention he'll love you the right way young lady you ain't got to sell your body and you ain't got to give it away free y'all ain't saying nothing just to get somebody's attention just to feel like somebody oh god i wish i could preach up in here you selling yourself for twenty dollars y'all ain't talking here and god is saying you worth so much that he gave up heaven's best for somebody like you you were made for so much more than that and you were out there hoeing around because ain't nobody told you they love you oh god you're looking for somebody that'll wrap their arms around you and the most you can get is a one-night stand they can't stand you for more than one night but jesus said come to me are you always saying nothing when they get through using you and abusing you come to me oh my god when you're walking that walk of shame he said come on to me when you don't think nobody's worth it he just come to me and i love you right i don't care how broken you are i told you last week he can hug you so tight until all of your broken pieces start to stick back together wish i could get somebody look at your name and tell them save the pieces because jesus wants to put you back together again look at somebody tell them go get them got to remember let me hasten we we have to remember what he's done for us we got to remember how it brought us out we got to go back and rehearse our testimonies because some of us forgot that's the reason why some of us looking at people like they're beyond his ability because you forgot where you come from now y'all getting quiet when you were shooting needles between your toes and in your navel and other places that folk can't talk about amen and god saved you and now we're looking at people acting like they're beyond reach amen like god can't save them the devil is alive amen if god could save you amen you were sleeping with ten at a time amen then god can save a lesbian y'all ain't saying nothing here we act like god can save some but he can't save others god can save it out and get quiet here amen god said i can save anybody and we forget this stuff we forget that thousand dollar day habit and then because other folks have habits different from the ones he delivered us from we act like he can't do it for them but can i tell you god is just looking for a willing heart he's looking for somebody that's sick of themselves and i'm telling you you've got some folk in the world they hate the stuff they're doing they hate the life they're living you know the problem the problem is they don't have no way out hard they've never seen anybody that made it out arrived alive they've never seen anybody come from those types amen of hindrances in life and make anything out of themselves that's the reason why oh god the redeemer of the lord ought to say so i'm glad they let me come back over here i said that's the reason why the psalmist declared that the redeemed of the lord ought to say so he who had been retained from the hand of the enemy i wish i could get you to look at somebody and tell them maybe if you only knew the stuff god brought me out of don't let this soup fool you don't let that tie that dress for you you don't know the stuff god had to pick us up out of you don't know i god let me come back over here you don't know the stuff that folk were wrestling with i'm trying to look through this house today and find somebody that's honest enough to admit that before i came to god i had to wrestle with some stuff that's some things the devil got the best of me with i gave it my blessing and i still wasn't sufficient but i went to a meeting with when you get it and you get it right the things you used to do you won't do that come to tell you you'll never be satisfied servant self and servant satan you got people now that's their whole aim in life they're serving themselves and their servants say but she tells us in saint john penn and said lord i wish i had some strength today he tells us that the thief comes not but for the steel to kill and to destroy but she was he said i came that you might have life look at somebody and tell them maybe it's time to live again oh the devil got you out there and all you're doing is existing but i come to tell you it's time to live i wish i could find somebody look out spiritually you see a lot of depth everywhere seeing god heal me the wages of sin is death and you're looking at folk that looks so helpless and the question is can these dead folk live what god if you say live they can live and i heard jesus say satan wants to kill you he's a thief that come to steal kill and destroy he said but i am come that you might have life and let your mighty heaven more abundantly slap yourself and tell yourself i didn't start living until i came to jesus just as i was i was very wounded and sad found in him a resting place he's made me glad i got to when he got through talking she ran to the city and said come see a man i hear a lot of folks saying i don't know what to say you ain't got to be too worthy when you get just tell them come see a man your sojourn through life with your passion that'll come see a man if you want homosexuals everybody in that lifestyle you ain't got to argue with nobody just tell them come see a man he told me decision that you're just making for the weekend this is a decision that will impact your life and if today you're ready to give him your life i mean your whole life while your hands are lifted i want you to talk to god and mean this from your heart open your mouth and say lord i'm sorry for everything i've done that was not like you everything i did that disappointed you i'm sorry for it i turned from my wicked ways father deliver me and set me free ask him lord baptize me with the holy ghost and tell him i'll live for you for the rest of my life come on now lift your hand that's it that's his
