Farm Sale Coming

hey everyone hope you're doing well i'm over at my grandma's right now over in the hills minnesota area and for the last couple weeks we've been helping get ready for a farm sale with the farm sale you know you gotta have you gotta have people that are interested in the equipment and what's on the sale and so i thought why not help my own family out and try to buzz up a little business for the farm sale that's coming a little bit about the farm sale uh like i said it's in the hills minnesota area and it closes october 2nd now in the description below i want to put the url the link to the farm auction so you can check it out more so the sale starts a few weeks prior to october 2nd but that october 2nd is the day it closes it's on the description i'll have more about that and if you're interested in any of this just click on that link the drone video will show some newer tractors an s660 combine uh all the way to some older tractors there's a few semis a few trucks we got some tillage machinery there's a really big disc that'll be on the sail we there's a couple augers there's even some propane tanks i know last harvest was really tough for a lot of people and they were having especially in this minnesota area people were having a tough time getting getting propane in and so maybe some extra propane storage would be helpful i helped move a couple of those propane tanks and i know one of them we had to move with the payloader because it was so full and it was so heavy the tractor that was picking it up was tipping forward there's a grain cart a john deere planter a lot of john deere around here if you noticed there's a john deere drill box drill there's a grain vac it looks like uh some sort of knife to put in maybe some anhydrous there's old stuff and there's new stuff and there's a whole bunch of concrete bunks as well there's a really nice beautiful truck over here but it looks it looks really nice it all drove itself over here you know there's there's a 50 20 46 40. there's just all kinds of stuff big small old and new and so there's something for everybody here just if you're interested hit the link below check out the frederick albert sale we're just hopeful to have a nice a nice farm sale here may be wondering why there is a farm sale going on and it was about a month ago that my grandfather had actually passed away and he and his wife are the ones that are basically the reason for this youtube channel believe it or not way back if you've heard the story before when i crashed my drone they felt bad for me my first drone and i didn't think i was going to get a new one but they ended up writing me a check and they paid for a brand new drone and so the next video i made with that drone actually got a lot of views and it really got this channel going and so i kept with it because of them and so i definitely owe them a lot yeah so i just wanted to take a little minute here to talk about the nice equipment there's headers there's a 630 flex and there's a 608 check that sail out closing october 2nd from stephas stephens auction group is who's taking care of that so thanks for listening and we'll hop into some farming today is sunday we're getting ready we're going to work 20 pairs right now i'm just mixing this clean up it kind of separates so we're just i shook it now i'm shooting it back in because the stuff in the hose doesn't really mix well and we're gonna grab some vaccines for our calves and then this cleanup and we're also gonna bring uh antibiotic in case anything's got something wrong with them ellie's not coming some people do ask why we don't like bring her in tractors and stuff she hates moving vehicles and she does not know how to work cattle so those two reasons make you stay home oh you you know how to work cattle you just do it your own way don't you we're going to give the cavs their first round of fall shots we're starting that today with one small group and we like to do that before weaning weaning is really stressful and a lot of these vaccines we do two rounds in that first round is it's just nice to get it in early before they even have that stress and so that's what we're gonna do and since the fly pressure as you know has been bad we're gonna pour them with that cleanup and that should help way better and we're going to pour the cows and the cows and it's going to it's going to be better than that stuff we've been spraying on because the stuff we spray on it doesn't really have much of a residual this stuff will help a lot the first round of shots it's nice to be able to put them back on the cow so the only stress they had was the shot and not weaning as well so we got done with lunch a little bit ago it's already one o'clock and so earlier today well we chased up the cows that we're gonna be working and then we also grabbed our portable corral and we set that up and so we're ready to work a few more groups the weather is really nice it's hot it's hot in here but i was actually wearing a sweatshirt this morning because it was it was like 63 degrees we sat there real quick up over there yeah we set up the air real quick we're going to the south farm and there's just 20 pears i think i see all right here are the cows and the cavs when we came over here this morning they were right on the other side of that gate and so we thought well they're they're right there they're not out way in the pasture so we thought might as well get it done it's sunday but nice to have a little bit more work done because we're about to get really busy with harvest and hauling manure and we got a lot going on there sure is a lot of eating out here about can't see you buddy we're going to start with the cows they're just easier to pull off run them up in cows are just getting the poor and so they'll be quick and then the calves are getting two shots and the poor and if anybody's got a bad eye which this has been our best pasture no bad eyes in here yet otherwise we'll be giving them some antibiotics hey dad i'm happy we were over here the other day and killed all those wasps because they they would get pretty upset right now you didn't want the added excitement today no no i like the good show i am interested to see how they react to this mat down in here maybe maybe see if they hate it yeah they're both gone see if they hate it or don't even mind it right now it's not obviously doing us that much good but in the winter you should have seen it last year that big sheet of ice it'll definitely be a big deal in the winter up in the tub up in the tub good girls hi hi squeeze in there go ahead there's more kind of reminds me of when i was back in my day when we did physical for sports everybody stood in their underwear for an hour and waited all physical yeah all right everybody i think that's the greatest form of flattery when they poop on it you know it just makes them feel it shows that they're right at home yeah because they poop on everything so it's laying down good they don't have any issues they're going right over it yeah yeah hope they don't get spoiled i want to walk on something like that every day so this last jag we should get the rest of the big critters and then we'll be doing calves and giving them shots that's squeaky so needs to loop that what's this that's a wasp oh my atlanta can i pull it out and see who's in there oh [Laughter] what what brand of tub and alley is that that's a coleslaw oh coulson the bowl on this one so this ain't the easiest walking no it ain't good [Music] oh not shutting the gate risky risky come on we got a full in here oh oh hey hey hey holy moses you probably should have shut the gate hi hi hi hi come on one thing i can say is if i knew the gate was shut i might have stepped out of the way of that bowl oh it looks like that door swung open on the barn you see that one i better do some tendons with that at some point if you push it shut off right okay i bet there's wasps over here now i'm to get stung for the third time in a week this handle ain't doing much over here good all right hey there's all this darn foliage getting in my way i just want to show you so [Applause] one step closer to weaning so we're just going to open these two gates let them back out to the pasture and we won't be working this group for probably another two months until after harvest all right they're headed back out they said enough of people they didn't even bring us dakota called pro pellets dad mentioned well the cavs are right here these are the ones we bought and we're ready so we should try pouring them so that's what we're going to try to do since they're up by the gate come on in up in there i gotta yell louder yep this guy ain't phased let's go ha hip he says i don't care i don't care how loud yell i don't know if all 37 of these guys are gonna fit come on now yep you're free so with that i think we should be done with the aeroclip until we start weaning again and we'll need it here so we're going to leave this sit here very excited i didn't get stung by a wasp in today's video guess how much this dragon cleanup goes uh that's either no that's 300 bucks yeah yeah so where do i send your portion of the bill you help me so uh that that matt they didn't seem to be scared of it or anything it sounded quiet in there but the benefit we're gonna see from that is this winter when this whole thing is a sheet of ice dad and i will be slipping out here and uh that could be funny but the cattle should be good well i think that's all we're doing this sunday no we did put a few hours of work in before i started taking video did we do other stuff i don't know we did something but oh we set that corral yeah we set that corral up tomorrow we're going to be doing two groups two uh groups of 20 pairs i think yeah so 40 80 head of cattle plus bowls 82 about and uh just like we did with these pears cows are just getting that poor cats are getting shots their first round of shots winning shots fall pre-conditioning yeah it went real good goals awesome help we knew that i uh i don't get in the way all the time so that's good we're gonna be doing wet corn here probably two weeks our combine still needs to get uh finished put back together it's been inspected i hope i didn't bore you with the auction talk at the beginning i'm sure there's some people that are actually really interested in that everybody loves a good auction oh yeah there's new equipment there's older equipment not brand new not brand new of course but modern newer yeah yeah like there's there's an 8r there's a 6r there's an s660 com box it's a 7150 with a loader uh-huh motorcycle you got 11 11 or 1400 hours or something like that and of course we just wanted to put that on there so a 455 john deere grain drill just making sure my grandma has a good sale of course we want her to be successful in this and you know it's kind of what she's going to retire on you know at the right age of over 80 sorry grandma that i had that i put your age in there she's 84 but she's tougher than all of us she's been running green card up until i think last year so i think it she's due for so maybe if she helps her a little bit this year she can keep her streak going yeah so hopefully she does come out and run our green card a little bit if she wants just for fun hard work yeah yeah and she's welcome anytime have i ever told this i think you've told this story so i'm gonna tell the other one that was when i got called into the guidance counselor this one i got called into the superintendent's office and uh he accused me of of um oh hooking up the uh pressure thing for all the pop in the pop machine and armory so all the high school kids were drinking free pop and i said i didn't do it i said if i had known about it i def you know how i like pop i'd have been in on it but i honestly didn't do it and he kept accusing me and i kept saying no and finally i got up started walking out and he said okay but your conscious will bother you the rest of your life well i didn't do it but i did remember what he said and uh i was seating people at a funeral and this guy walked in with really bad body odor and i sat him down and about two minutes later here come my old retired superintendent and i sat him right next to that guy so he got to sit there for 45 minutes with his eyes bleeding and so my conscience didn't bother me leo but i did get even with you for accusing me of something i didn't do and that's how i roll well we left you on a
